Karmic lessons, also known as missing numbers in numerology, are the challenges and lessons that have been carried over from past lives into the present one. These lessons arise from actions and choices made in previous incarnations that have not yet been resolved. The missing letters in your full name at birth represent a part of you that is there, and these lessons play an essential role in our personal growth journey.
Karmic lessons are identified through the analysis of your birth name using numerology charts. Each letter of your name is assigned a numerical value, and by examining the missing numbers in your full name, you can identify the lessons and challenges needed to address in this lifetime. Karmic Lessons are numbers from 1 to 9 that are absent in your name, and if you see a particular number repeated, it is a sign of Karmic Strength or a Hidden Passion Number.
In numerology, karmic lessons are unresolved issues, patterns, or actions that need to be grown and healed to break a cycle of negativity. Karmic debt numbers such as 13, 14, 16, or 19 indicate areas where problems may arise due to past actions. Karmic numbers indicate areas of our life in which we are weak, which can be overcome by working on them.
Karmic Lesson numbers are a way of identifying areas in your life where you might have some weaknesses or challenges. They are a sign of spiritual growth and evolution, and they indicate that you have mastered the challenges presented to you in previous lives. Understanding and recognizing these lessons is crucial for personal growth and understanding the significance of karmic lessons in numerology.

How do you know if someone is a karmic lesson?
Karmic relationships are often marked by drama, codependency, poor communication, passionate arguments, and intense attraction. These relationships can be fleeting, reckless, and filled with drama. They can be as fulfilling as long-term partnerships, but not all are meant to be happily ever after. Karmic relationships are love lessons, as explained by Bonnie Winston, a professional matchmaker and relationship expert. They can be as fulfilling as long-term partnerships, but not all love stories are meant to be happy ever after.
Carrie Bradshaw, in Sex and the City, emphasized that some loves are short stories, but they still contain love and learning. Winston has been helping clients find “mates, not dates” since she was 16.
Which planet is karmic?
Astrology reveals that each planet in our chart represents different aspects of our karma, with Jupiter representing the rewards we receive from past good deeds and Jupiter indicating the lessons we need to learn. Certain aspects or connections between planets can indicate karmic patterns or lessons that we need to learn in our lifetime. For example, a challenging aspect between Saturn and Venus might suggest lessons related to love and relationships that we need to resolve.
As planets move through the sky, they trigger different aspects and energies, influencing our karma and life experiences. For instance, a Saturn return often brings significant life changes and challenges, forcing us to confront our karmic lessons and grow spiritually.
What zodiac signs are karmic?
Astrologers have identified three zodiac signs with karmic protection: Libra, Aquarius, and Capricorn. Libra is associated with fairness, equality, diplomacy, and justice. Aquarius, currently ruled by Uranus, was traditionally ruled by Saturn, the planet of work, lessons, structure, tangible rewards, tenacity, delays, limitations, responsibilities, rules, and regulations. Saturn is often called the taskmaster, as it is often involved during rough times.
However, it can deliver growth and success if we heed its lessons. Without Saturn, we would lack structure, permanence, control, government, and progress. Saturn brings about maturity and forces us to learn patience and control. It is also considered the planet of karma, and misuse of personal power can result in its return.
What does karmic lesson mean?
A karmic cycle is a pattern of events, emotions, or realizations that occur in one’s life, often seen as an opportunity to break negative cycles and gain wisdom. It is believed that these cycles are opportunities to master a life lesson, and until that lesson is mastered, the cycle continues. Although not a medical term, the concept is familiar to students of yoga, astrology, Buddhism, Indian spirituality, or New Age spirituality practices. Understanding karma and karmic cycles is crucial for healing and progress. The history behind this concept is complex and requires further exploration.
Is 2024 a karmic year?
In angelic symbolism, the number eight represents justice, leadership, prosperity, and balance. In 2024, it is predicted that those who sowed effort, work, and honesty will reap success and abundance. The angel representing the number eight is Cahetel, who has the grace to avoid calamities and intervene in conflicts. Cahetel protects and blesses those who invoke him with prosperity and is associated with abundance in agriculture.
To make the most of the energy of 2024, it is essential to stay grounded and balanced, taking care of ourselves physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and avoiding the temptation to focus on material success at the expense of our well-being. This will ensure that we reap the fruits of our efforts and work in the new year.
What happens when a karmic cycle ends?
If you were married to someone who was a certain kind of person, you may feel alien to them if you become another kind. This can lead to a transformation in the relationship, as it cannot be what it was before. The relationship must change, either physically or mentally.
There are two options for overcoming this: doing the right things, being available to your Guru, or practicing nourishment for yourself. The former is better for many people, as it allows them to break their limitations and move forward in life. However, the latter is not for everyone. Some people may view patience as patience, but they prefer a fast-forward approach.
There is no mountain standing between you and the ultimate, and you are just your own mental structure. To break this, you can team up with someone you don’t like and spend time together lovingly and joyfully. This will lead to many things to break, but always teaming up with someone you like is not good for you.
In summary, recognizing that someone is ahead of you can lead to a transformation in your relationship. It is essential to practice nourishment and break your limitations to achieve the ultimate happiness.
How to break your karmic cycle?
There are three ways to approach the spiritual process: slowly, by doing the right things through a few lifetimes, remaining in present circumstances, or breaking your limitations now. Many things will happen that no one will approve of, and if you become another kind, they will not be able to relate to you anymore.
One way to break your limitations is to team up with someone you don’t like and spend time with them lovingly and joyfully. This can lead to a transformation in your relationship. If you become another kind, you may feel alien to them and they may see you as a great possibility. However, if you recognize that someone is way ahead of you, your relationship will transform into something else.
In some ways, what you used to value will be broken, either physically or mentally. You may live in the same space but still change, and only a few people are ready for that. By embracing change and embracing the spiritual journey, you can overcome any obstacles and achieve a more fulfilling life.
What are the signs of a karmic soulmate?
Karmic relationships are intense, instant connections between individuals, often characterized by turbulence and highs and lows. These relationships can be abusive, leading to codependency, miscommunication, and passionate arguments. However, these relationships can also have intense highs and lows, and toxic behavior patterns. It is important to recognize signs of unhealthy relationships and take steps to leave them if they feel emotionally exhausting. It is crucial to recognize and address these signs to maintain healthy relationships.
What are the karmic master numbers?
Master numbers 11, 22, and 33 intensify the vibrations and create a dynamic force field. People born under a master number are believed to have learned the lessons of numbers 1-9 before birth and are here to improve humanity. Together, these numbers form a trio of practical wisdom, elevated insight, and potentially good luck. Eleven is a sign of enormous power, both mental and physical, and people who embody it often display heightened intuition, natural intelligence, and spiritual insight.
What is karmic numerology?
Karmic Debt theory in numerology is based on past life deeds and their repayment. Karmic debt numbers are 13, 14, 16, and 19. The simplest method involves correlating your day of birth with these numbers, which are automatically associated with you if you share a birthday with the values 13, 14, 16, or 19. The second method involves calculating your personality number, which represents how you are perceived by people.
This calculation involves your birthday and birth month digits, and the formula relates numbers from 1 to 9 to the four karmic debt numbers. For example, if you were born on the 4th of June, your personality number would be 4 + 6 = 10.
How to calculate karmic lesson numbers?
The calculation of karmic lessons can be achieved through the examination of a person’s birth name, with the identification of any missing letters. To illustrate, if a birth name is deficient in the letter E, N, or W, the karmic lesson is 5, signifying freedom, connection, and energy.

Karmic 1: I struggle to assert myself especially in close relationships because I don’t want to hurt people’s feelings. And that’s mainly because I grew up with very emotionally manipulative parents that always made me feel like I was “wrong” for being assertive and speaking up for myself. I can be very indecisive but once I have set my mind to something then I can be very determined. I am very ambitious by nature but I do tend to procrastinate due mainly to perfectionism and high expectations. Karmic 2: I am very considerate of other people’s feelings(and I am pretty sure that’s a strength of mine) But I do struggle to work in groups and prefer 100% to work alone. I can also be very impatient with things, and I have been learning patience now) and how to become more discipline overall. Karmic 6: I am a very deep person and I only form deep connections. I don’t do superficiality so that’s a strength ++ But I do struggle to commit in relationships because of trust issues and high expectations. Karmic 8: I get money very fast (++ for me ) but I do have the tendency to over spend and have been working on that matter of fact, and also the tendency to over give to everyone. I do have a problem with authority, and again that’s due to growing up with very controlling parents But then again, I only have a problem with authority if they abuse their power or are unable to lead the right way.
My Karmic lessons are 2,8 (Life Path #8, Expression/Birthday # 1, Soul urge/Inner dream #5). Both are me! I don’t like working in groups! I have difficulty accepting when I’ve achieved anything because I feel I could have done better. I’ve been told I have no tact when talking to people and have lost out on great opportunities because of fear. Money has never been important to me, so I give it away when others are in need, but struggle when I need it because I don’t like asking for help/or accepting the help of others. Last year was a massive change because I’m making moves to take more risks and not let fear get in my way. I’m also hoping to start my own business and realize that I need to trust/work with people for it to be successful. This was very helpful!
KS: 1,4,5,9,6; pretty much resonates me but as for the #6, it depends on the person to build a strong relationship with. KL: 3,7; 3 is very much resonates me. It even made me laugh😆. But as for the #7, I’m not into material world. I’m more of a simple life kinda girl. Less is more. Thank you. God bless.
#6 karmic here! It resonates in a few ways. I am the financial provider in my family and the primary caregiver for our kids at the same time (the plight of many women these days lol). My husband is very supportive and loving though, and helps out quite a bit, perhaps explained by my 6s in expression and soul urge.
Wow, my Karmic lesson is a catch 22 😅 It is Nr 8 (only) and I now understand why I have problems with money and authority! The catch is that my strength is nr 1, which is why my weakness is so strong 😊 Thank you for this, I am aware now 🙏❤ And then my Life Path number is also 8 so, hopefully my other strength which is 9 will help balance things out a bit more. . .
I have karmic lessons 4 and 6. Four is diminished since it is my life path and maturity number and my 3 and 4 pinnacle number. Absolutely correct about karmic lesson 6. I give and give and don’t mind it. I am very guarded and do not have deep meaningful relationships. Amazing how accurate this is! Thank you.
Mine is Lesson n. 2, which is accurate in the sense I try to do everything by myself and never share my burdens with others. But most places I’ve read also paint people that need to learn this lesson as self-centered which… Growing up with a narc-mom, everything was about her, and not me. So I actually diminished myself almost to a point of complete erasure. If anything, I am always so hyperaware of other people’s feelings that I forget my own. Reading these sections in other sources really upset me. However I am willing to learn how to be a team player and actually relying on others, instead of robbing them of choice and doing everything myself.

Mom aunt n grandma have passed n I was the care taker… My birthday #6 I don’t have a 2 in my core #8 is so true I can’t save money for the life of me …. But I guess I have to my life path is 8 n so is my generation number 8 I can manifest money but I spend it fast.
Carmen thank you so much for your insightful articles on this subject. I have a question for you; when you say that if you have a certain number in your core chart, so it diminishes the effect of that lesson. Do you mean that by having that same karmic number in your core chart that it will lessen the impact of that particular lesson? So meaning that you may not learn that lesson, or you may find it difficult to learn that lesson? Please could you answer that thank you 🙏🏽💚
I have 17 letters in my name; Name is Morgan Nicole Burke. …My karmic lesson is number 8. My karmic lesson numbers are 2, 3, 5, 6, 9. I have a 1 and 7 in my name, what are they? And also in my core numbers, my soul urge numbers is a number 8, so does that mean, yes it’s still a karmic lesson but it’s almost like it won’t be hard to overcome???
Hi Carmen. Ive just checked mine and the number I dont have is 2. I know you mentioned that that lesson is diminished if you have that number somewhere in your core chart. My question is if i’m an 11 lifepath does this count? As ive been told an 11 also carries the energy of 1 and 2. Thanks so much🙏🏽
Karmic lesson number 7 I have a 7 in my birth year (I was born I 2007) Does that lessens the effect of this karmic lesson on me? The reason why it scares me so much because I read somewhere that with the 7 missing, I may lack the determination and effort it takes to perfect a talent i possess (I can actually see it is true cause I have so many interests and I could actually do a great job if only I worked a little harder but I just keep procrastinating, im so sacred if im going to continue this for the rest of my life)
