  • The same Sun in Capricorn for me and I actually feel this fear of criticism everytime I have to get projected at work/ presenting infront of co-workers. For one day I prefer to stay back instead of going ahead and start thinking about what’s going on and the very next day I realise n I’ll be ready to do what I’m supposed to do. Now I understand the reason why this happens. Also the power of Guru guides me throughout my life. Thanks for the knowledge Kapiel!

  • Wow.. I just understood my wives Vedic sign. Thank you. She is most easy going person I found but then she was puzzled through out life. She got psoriasis because of her constant stress and fear. She gets anxious in a second. I usually thought it’s her July born cancerian nature, but I guess I can relate now. She can’t lie properly can’t cheat people and has trouble doing wrong things. She feels scared but she learnt to stay wit fear and yet think practical. Her suggestions are so practical and smart yet she just wants to stay house wife.

  • Thank you, Kapiel. This article explains SOOOOOOO much for me! I have my Saturn in Cancer, and I directly experience this paralyzing fear with institutional structures. I’m always concerned about my loss of choice and freedom in my life if I don’t present the proper documentation or follow the process to the letter. The irony is that it’s my personality to detest and challenge the authority these agencies claim. So I find myself eventually having to face my fears and address the issues of personal sovereignty versus institutional/government mandate. This has been a frustratingly repetitive cycle. I really appreciate your insight on this issue.

  • Ok, so a few things I noted – 1. I have vedic Capricorn sun but western Aquarius sun. Also, I have vedic Aquarius ascendant. I relate more to Capricorn sun generally. 2. Sun is in 12th house in the sign of Capricorn, and its lord Saturn is in 4th house in the sign of Taurus. So we could say Saturn is in his friend’s place, but Saturn is also there in the same sign with Rahu so… yeah 😳 3. I have trouble coming out to the public because I am very shy and introverted. I just prefer to do my own work quietly and perfectly and avoid getting in front of an audience. 4. Criticism is also one aspect which I find quite difficult to handle. Its that I cannot handle it when someone criticises me even if its for my own good. My emotions go haywire and I start to blame myself thinking “how could you let this happen”, “everything was perfect, where did I go wrong?!”. It is what stops me from publishing my drafts of mystery-thriller writings as I am scared of receiving the criticism 😔 5. My father wasn’t the disciplinarian type, but my mother loves to play the drill sergeant in the house (strangely she is born in Uttar Phalguni i.e. Surya’s Nakshatra and has Virgo ascendant). She was always organizing me, pitting me towards a set goal, being strict and keenly oriented to detail and hard work. And she loves to criticize me all the time, so it’s very difficult to impress her. 6. I was also dreadfully fearful of the law. In school, I was the quiet, rule-abiding kid and teachers usually called me a good student.

  • I experience a lot of this – my sun, Neptune and Venus are in Capricorn, my moon is cancer, my Saturn is in Aries. My sun, moon and Saturn are all in conjunction. My ascendant is Taurus. And I suffer a lot from anxiety and depression and I felt like I had to grow up a lot quicker than other people. X

  • In sidereal my Sun is in Capricorn and Saturn, one of my dominant planets, sits in Aquarius and I am that person who thrives to do public orderly things (with a weird Aquarian/Uranian twist) and trying to avoid criticism like plague but when the criticism hits my first reaction is being emotionally brutally wounded and after that announcing that “This is who I am. This is how I do things and I will always try to be true to myself and improve!”. And then the rest of my life remembering the criticism and adding it to my list of be-aware-of-this-horrible-outcome 😅

  • It’s true.cap sun,Aries Saturn. I perform well and then suddenly I become face of the team/class.Afterthat everything ll start fall apart,I need put extra 300% effort for getting done my 70-80% work to retain my reputation.I felt that everytime. If Im getting praised for something,I can’t be happy,my head already tells me to prepare for the worst that ll b following.

  • I have Sun in Capricorn with Saturn in Aries. However, Saturn is digbala in 7th house with Neechbhanga formed by Mars in Libra and Venus in Aquarius. I tend to find more and more that I am my own worst critic, and even if I do get criticized, I have to reanalyze the situation as I’m not seeing things clearly as my fear/anxiety gets in the way. I tend to be able to deal with it better over time. A lot of it is changing my perspective and taking charge of my life instead of constantly living in a fear-based mindset.

  • Hi, Kapiel, Firstly I I wish to express my deep sense of gratitude and sincere thanks to You for your efforts to make Astrology an interesting & positive subject, which help us to understand Self & became a search light or guiding force in life. I am highly pleased and feel proud to inform you that through your guiding principles by articles & Articles, I learnt a lot about Astrology and I have seen all your articles and keen subscriber of your KRS website. To be very honest, you are my GURU…

  • Wow my D60 chart ruler is sun. In the D60 chart my sun is in 6th house Capricorn. I literally manage a teamsters union with high ideals of fairness and balance. I am a female managing males also. My father taught me my strong work ethic. I respect he and my mother more than anyone in this world. Spot on 🎯

  • My father is a self-sufficient, homesteading, entrepreneur (with his own family business) who is definitely highly organized with a strict, disciplined way of doing things timely and efficient. The/our government is actually more punishing for people who live off the grid ect. So maybe you are using “government” in more of a meaning like governing something kind of way? Because he def keeps the law and order of the house.

  • Thank you..I dont know the position of planets in my birth chart..but whatever you have said I have already experienced..and you are right I was a bit pessimistic earlier in my childhood days..but now when I am a grown up..and with efforts and support I have turned myself as an Optimistic person..and now I have resolved to break my limits and show the world that I will never back down no matter what happens I stand here..and I am just about to break my limits..this article will definately benefit those who needs it..

  • That’s why i never related to the stereotypical Capricorn archetype. Cuz my Saturn is in Cancer, my Sun is at a Pisces degrees. My literal idea of self is more emotionally rooted. Never liked authority, always a rebel if I feel like it. Self-doubt & criticism was also a big problem, but I try to handle it more consciously now

  • Thanks dear friend… I have sun mercury Venus in Capricorn which is aspected by Saturn from Scorpio.. Saturn in anusham star is with mars which is a strong kendra.. I’m Leo lagna and Leo rasi rising.. It perfectly fits for what u r saying..and I have Jupiter in 7th house Aquarius.. I’m looking for IAS job as well.. ur predictions are really fantastic.. Thanks dear friend..

  • Hi, I was eagerly waiting for this article as I was looking for your observation on SUN in Capricorn. You are requested to kindly guide me about SUN & Venus placed in Ascendant in Capricorn and Saturn & Moon is placed in 8th House in Sign of Leo. Here there is a “Parivartan Yoga” exchange of lord of Ascendant – Saturn in 8th House & Lord of 8th House – SUN in Capricorn Ascendant. Looking forward to receive your valued guidance & feedback in this regard. I wish You to continue with the Great work

  • Aquarius is just my sun sign in western astrology, and capricorn is my sun in vedic. I relate more to aquarius though. My mercury is in aquarius in both of them though. Although I do tend to attract capricorns quite a lot like I dated one of them but it didn’t last. XD I don’t relate to them that much, but I do like them! I have heavy air and fire in my western birth chart and I think I relate to that way more. Being rebellious is in my very being. Maybe I come across as very capricorny but in actuality I’m very aquarius. Dunno. Interesting enough though. Thanks for the article!

  • Don’t know about rank, gov but yeah extremely organized, the motivational factor to constantly do well is dad and the fear factor is very correct. .I don’t seek fame at all but I go famous too quick( that’s scared me too of negative critic)…fear and anxiety self esteem is equally hit..pessimism is always there…but post thirty my mindset has changed I am loved by ppl..earlier I could feel it was fake but nowadays I know whatever I write perform my talent show case is genuinely appreciated and criticized and I take things in my stride not afraid any more..but again that fear keeps coming on and off..but my Saturn is in Virgo 6th house ( Atmakaraka, so got nothing easily hard work and hard work and criticism, expectations are high ) and sun in 10th and the same placement in Virgo Navamsa..virgottama both planet.. Adding – yeah I Iiterally challenge the fear within and I take risk..as we all know daar ke age jit hai 😀😀😀.. It completely matched what you said but power is something comes naturally so does leadership ( which I don’t like to take but I get).

  • Sun, Venus, and Mars in Capricorn I’m vedic. I am an Aquarius in sun, Venus, and mars in western. I have a felony on my record for bank robbery so this is definitely not at all me as far as always following the law. I actually don’t give a fuck about the status quo or what people think but I am very ambitious and want to get accepted into law school. My moon and Pluto are in 1st house so maybe I’m missing something.

  • what do you mean “when Saturn is sitting at the sign of Libra .. sign of Aquarius”? are you talking about Saturn’s movement on a daily basis or like my moon sign/ascendant being Libra or Aquarius? man..i’m a Capricorn by Sun, Pisces by Moon and Virgo Ascendant. If anyone else is like this, please tell me i’m not the only one who thinks life is so contradicting.

  • Im a dbl cap sag rising & I dont resonate w any of this..never had much fear/anxiety nor followed the rules/scared of law & not really organized anymore & defi not concerned w structure..mayb if ur living deep n ur shadow this is accurate but the confidence is usually MUCH more dominant as evidenced by general success rates of capies

  • Omg lighten up man! Im a Capricorn sun, Scorpio rising and i have no fear like you describe. Perhaps you are focusing way to much on fear and disregard all the positive aspects of this cardinal sign.. shame on you for spreading misguided info. Dude my Scorpio senses are screaming at me you envy Cappies a lot. Sorry you feel that way, It’s okay though we all fear one thing or another.
