What Immunity Do Mystic Knights Have In Rifts?

Mystic Knights are a group of warriors known for their high endurance and resistance to various forms of energy. They are not a race, but an OCC and many are SDC. Their immunity to energy is magical, meaning they take no damage due to magic, not because of it. Mystic Knights are among the most hated and feared warriors in North America, often found in the Magic Zone but also in the eastern half of the continent.

They are impervious to various energy sources, including lasers, ion blasts, particle beams, plasma bolts, electricity, fire, heat, and radiation. Magically created energy and ley line storms inflict half damage, while rune weapons, holy weapons, and most magical weapons do full damage. Mystic Knights are trained in using armor and smite as free actions, though only on themselves and their weapons.

A Mystic Knight is immune to all fire, but their GM ruled that magic fire does half damage to them. They can still walk around with their normal cocky attitude while others are vulnerable. Mystic Knights are also immune to neural attacks, which can be used as a free action.

In Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift, Mystic Knights are an OCC, meaning their stats are determined by their race. They are resistant to magic as a whole and can be trained to use spellblades from Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift.

In summary, Mystic Knights are a group of warriors known for their high endurance, resistance to various energy sources, and their unique abilities. They are often encountered in the Magic Zone but can also be encountered throughout the eastern half of North America.

  • i recently found a pretty cool thing the MK can do to the gazer, specifically with its great cannon skill. so i was fighting the gazer for the first, well actually second time, but it was NG+ and all so, first time, but again. anyway, i started whacking the glowing ball, but i wasnt dealing enough damage. im not sure how, maybe a mage or sorc was standing in the ball with magick agent or something last time i did this (at that time the gazer literally melted under the avalanche of projectiles), but this time i just wasnt getting enough projectiles. then i found out i could trigger it using great cannon projectiles, and after that i no longer wanted for damage

  • I started DD not so long ago but I feel like I’m still very new to the game so I have a question: what does the vocation levels shown at the end of the article mean? I’m still confused because, would that mean I have to go through several NG+ in order to reach that build? Edit: I’ve beat Grigori and I unlocked the full everfall.

  • i play this game since it got to pc in 2016, i played it until i reach bb island and then left it so many times i don’t remember, and i always come back to start from scratch. a month ago i finally arrived to daimon, and i don’t do shit to his first form, as mystic knight, what the fuck i do now, i don’t know D: should i go back and kill enemies to level up, i played almost exclusively as MK so i don’t know if i fucked it up for not using assassin or sorcerer to get streght/magic…

  • Mystic Knight still OP without minmaxing, would like to see some post dragon’s death enemies in the open world. Though those hellhounds are annoying as hell, there are more wyverns around. Their AI does tend to break sometimes if you can’t aggro them fast enough, saw 1 trying to fish in the ocean and after 30mins it killed itself lol. I hope swimming is allowed in the sequel

  • Do you by any chance know anything about the stability calculation of when I can get Ripostes? Ive just started a new Magick Knight playthrough, Im lv55 now and thought about finally tackling a Cursed Dragon, I was using Zombiebane, which according to the Wiki seems to be about on par with BBI lv2 Shields, but I cant get any successful ripostes with it even after getting the “Improved Blocking Ability” upgrade on Rank 3. To clarify with unsuccessful riposte I mean, that while I dont lose any Stamina, i get knocked out of holding up the shield, and dont get the spell to activate, however the enemy still takes some reflection damage. Maybe the shield in general is just not good enough or, its my stats/level that are the limiting factor :I
