What Impact Had Margaret Sanger Have On Hitler’S Third Rite?

Margaret Sanger, a prominent figure in the eugenics movement in the United States, was a key proponent of eugenics and forced sterilization. Her advocacy for reproductive rights and public health in America, marked by her pioneering push for birth control and women’s autonomy, is overshadowed by her controversial support for eugenics and racially targeted policies.

Sanger’s lifelong struggle helped 20th-century women gain the right to decide when and whether to have a child, a right that has been inextricably linked to the founding of Planned Parenthood. The Negro Project, instigated in 1939 by Margaret Sanger, was one of the first major undertakings of the new Birth Control Federation of America (BCFA).

Despite her controversial support for eugenics and racially targeted policies, Sanger’s legacy and continued influence have had a profound impact on women’s health. Her advocacy for reproductive rights and public health in America, marked by her pioneering push for birth control and women’s autonomy, is overshadowed by her controversial support for eugenics and racially targeted policies.

In an interview with Fox News Wednesday, Ben Carson alleged that Planned Parenthood puts most of its clinics in black neighborhoods to control the population. Margaret Sanger’s lifelong struggle helped 20th-century women gain the right to decide when and whether to have a child, a right that has been inextricably linked to the founding of Planned Parenthood.

  • I won a $50 bet about Sanger. No one in the lunchroom believed she advocated for eugenics. They didn’t know what “eugenics” even meant. They didn’t believe that she felt certain races were inferior and should not be reproducing because of weak genes that affected the overall health and welfare of a country. A coworker got his cellphone out, and he read a brief bio of Sanger. The people in the lunchroom were shocked beyond belief to hear what Sanger really believed about blacks and reproduction. Let’s say she wasn’t the heroine they thought her to be, and I happily collected my $50 and went back to my desk.

  • My daughter in 2016 did a report on planned parenthood/Margaret Sanger/ eugenics. I had no idea she was doing a report on this subject what so ever until she came home with her report & 3 sided poster board on the subject. She did a VERY extensive & well put together report with pictures, quotes from Sanger. & pictures of the development stages during gestation period/pregnancy of the Fetas/Baby. She even left them with a question to ponder. ” Fetus OR Baby from time of consiption/ fertilization of egg” The teacher & school seemed to have a problem with the subject she chose, even though the kids were allowed to choose ANY subject ( history or present) they wanted to do. Her report hit history & present so i was proud & amazed at her excellent work. However the teacher gave her a D for her grade. She asked why but got no reason/answer, just told that what grade your report deserves. After I read & saw the complete report ( which was some knowledge that I didn’t even know) I checked all her references and the history myself and found it to All be true. I them talked to the teacher (over the phone, because she said she just couldn’t make any time for a conference or a quick meeting). On that call she couldn’t give me ant reason. She tried though, saying most of information was not true, was made up by my child and elaborate on wildly and decietfully. I told her I investigated her sources and all info on the subject and everything the reported was absolutely historical & present day Facts.

  • Today, a little girl at the playground bonked her head on a table and was crying. Her mother was perusal a baseball game nearby but didn’t see. My little boy saw her and went to her, made her smile, and very gently patted her face. It was so sweet, and I teared up. He has Down’s Syndrome, and Sanger wanted kids like him to never be born.

  • Sadly the HUGE piece that was missed was what she did to Puerto Rican woman. She undertook the largest mass sterilization of any ethnic group without their consent or knowledge AND we have Puerto Rican women to thank for birth control. They tested birth control on women, the amounts so high many, many women died, without their knowledge, they weren’t vitamin pills which they thought they were taking. All births during her reign of terror in Puerto Rico had women delivering not only their babies but also the taking of their uteruses so they could not have more children. Cancer in the Puerto Rican people was relatively low until Sanger but after it jumped 10x the national average. Why does no one talk about this travesty?

  • I’m a nurse and I’ve been angry about planned parenthood for many years. It would be one thing if they actually promoted choice and not just abortion and acknowledged and tried to repair the damage Sanger did in her lifetime. Not only have they not done any of this, but so many of their facilities and employees actively assist criminals to hide their crimes against girls and women, and the fact they attempted to conceal that in some areas over half of the women who got terminations reported being coerced by a romantic partner or family members. They’ve also been caught selling fetal remains. And let’s not forget when they fired one of their presidents/directors because she wanted to focus on increasing education and use of contraceptives and prevent unwanted pregnancies in the first place. Basically, planned parenthood is one of the very few things in this world I truly hate

  • My niece, a Democrat and lawyer who was ~ 28 at the time, scoffed at me when I brought up Margaret Sanger, Eugenics and Planned Parenthood. Telling me it was all lies. At the time, in 2017, Sanger’s Wikipedia was as most would expect, void of any mention of Eugenics and Planned Parenthood. Since that time, it’s been updated to more accurately reflect her racist ambitions.

  • Quote from Hillary Clinton concerning Sanger: “Now, I have to tell you that it was a great privilege when I was told that I would receive this award. I admire Margaret Sanger enormously, her courage, her tenacity, her vision … And when I think about what she did all those years ago in Brooklyn, taking on archetypes, taking on attitudes and accusations flowing from all directions, I am really in awe of her.”

  • I used to not have an opinion on abortion. I’m young, not a parent, still in school, and thought that I should just leave it to others to decide. That changed when I found out I was pregnant. I miscarried four months along and only got to see my baby for 10 minutes but damn. I’d do anything to have him back. I can’t imagine choosing to end his life. The perspective shift is so immense, I really hope the soon-to-be mothers out there that make the right choice.

  • This woman was not alone in her beliefs, and she used to rub elbows with Alice Bailey (an extremely influential writer for United Nations) and John Fetzer who used to own the Detroit Tigers. These people would literally hold séances. The world is literally run by billionaires holding séances chanting to entities. Think about that…

  • What was notably not mentioned was that Sanger’s eugenics attitude was formed during the late 19th Century when the largest minority group was the immigrant Irish who started to come to the USA with the Great Hunger (AKA the Irish Potato Famine) and continued well into the early 20th Century. She saw them as undesirables or to quote Hillary Clinton “deplorables”.

  • When I was a teen and in my 20’s, this knowledge was all over yt. That was what woke originally meant. Now politics has bastardized the term and made common sense thinking people run away from anything remotely close to this type of information. Thank you for bringing it back to a cogent and sensible discussion.

  • She may be the world’s most accomplished serial killer. Her words and actions were still killing millions in America, for 57 years after her death. Not to mention the multi millions in the rest of the world. If she thought she was miserable in life, I assure you it doesn’t come close to what she’s experiencing in hell!

  • Great topic and synopsis! It is very telling that Sanger’s name was “QUIETLY” removed from the New York Planned Parenthood… THAT is the behavior of someone who KNOWS they have taken the wrong position on something.. It is similar to the behavior of someone exhibiting shame, although for them I suspect it was more about public relations damage control.

  • As a poor white woman in the 1990s, the health department tied to get me to get hysterectomy ” for my health”. Almost every woman I know has had a hysterectomy other than myself. I am 60 years old and totally intact with no health problems from keeping my uterus and ovaries. I went through menopause with no problems and no HRT. That was eugenics. a woman I knew when we were both 29 was convinced to get a hysterectomy and has had the problems of old age ever since. She had brittle bone disease and fused spinal surgery before she was 40. It till goes on. Fully intact biologically correct healthy adult Women need to stand up to mutilation by the medical incompetents.

  • I met a woman on the train from Amsterdam to Frankfurt 40+ yrs ago on her way from England to Germany to visit family. Her father had been a professor in Germany during the ’30’s who actually read Mein Kampf and tried to warn anyone who would listen about the real nature of Hitler. He then moved his family to England before the war he knew was inevitably coming. She said to me then, most people forget that Hitler invaded Germany, before he invaded the world. I suspect if people actually read about their “heroes” and their true beliefs and positions, they may be far less inclined to raise them up to hero status and worship them. Most of the true enemies of society come from within their own peoples and ranks. Our founding Fathers here in America foresaw such situations. History is full of these people. And now we are seemingly in the middle of unprecedented times socially and economically and politically, any surprise that someone like Sanger should have risen to such prominence? Once educated, it isn’t difficult to understand why those who herald her ideas, do so. They are part of the effort to destroy us from within as well. Just tools in satan’s tool box. There are really only two sides: God’s side or the prince of evil. Choose ye this day…

  • Even though I knew most of this, I was still shocked by some of the quotes. A truly wicked ideology. By the way, she came from an area of New York called the Burned-Over District which was known for producing a lot of strange religious cults and sects, utopian societies, and progressivism. Excellent article

  • I did not learn about Eugenics until I took a college English class in my early 30’s. The fact that the history of the movement is not generally part of public education is telling. The influence of wealthy special interests have not only shaped modern “healthcare” but shaped the narrative of history. A decade later I’m coming to terms with the fact that there’s a 4th Reich and Eugenics is alive and well.

  • Many people do not know about Eugenics. Sterilization on people with disabilities was the aim. I am grateful to P.P. for allowing a place for me to go when I was a teenager to get birth control. I think this is an important community service, but the profits that P.P. makes off the abortion industry is horrifying. Abortion should never be a form of birth control.

  • I’ve always known this about Sanger and her fascination with eugenics. But this is something that the media won’t talk about. What’s even crazier is that, in an ironic twist a few years ago, planned parenthood wanted to remain on “the right side of history” by disowning Sanger and her racist beliefs. THEY DISOWNED THEIR OWN FOUNDER, without her, P.P. would cease to exist. P.P. definitely has loose morals

  • I am a 36 year old American male. In my years, I feel like I have learned that there are at least 3 things that a man should not ask a woman: 1.) Age 2.) Weight 3.) “Do you know who Margaret Sanger is?” I have never seen a person’s attitude change so quickly when asking if they recognize a person’s name. Often, they immediately get angry and start defending her. I’ve been afraid of reminding them that I have only asked if they knew the name. I swear, my own mother did the same thing to me when I asked her that last question! Immediately saw red and started defending vs. Answering the question by simply saying: Yes, No, or I’m unsure. Remind me

  • OMG I am really upset and shocked even though I knew just a pinch of these truths about Sanger. I had volunteered at P.P. years ago and even got the “nesting Ps” tattooed on my arm which now I must either have removed or altered. I’m ashamed to find out what a disgusting human she was and as I walked away from the left and took the ‘red pill’ I am even more horrified. Thank you for this important article.

  • Sterilizing women without them even knowing breaks my heart, me and my wife are having our first baby and even though we are both nervous and scared we wont be good parents we are so thankful to have this gift and its just so sad those monsters took away that opportunity to experience that. Disgusting monsters.

  • I heard snippets about this topic so this was very enlightening (although you forgot to include Aribert Heim aka Dr Death). And since we’re on the subject of eugenics, how about doing a show on the forced sterilisation program of an estimated 300,000 indigenous women in Peru between 1998-2000 by the quasi-dictator Alberto Fujima as part of a ruthless population control.

  • Its interesting how you look up this woman and others like her, and she is described as Irish “Catholic” American. The people she studied were never attached to a faith aside the jews ironically. The people she called feeble were in America prior to her being born or her family immigrating over here, yet she had the confidence to dictate others and pretend she cared about America(why didnt she bring the program to another country?). Obviously this has much to do with her fathers freemasonic allegiance which is never mentioned to depict her as this random superdemon the gov just found out of nowhere to support their baby eating rituals. Thats an important aspect of history and a great reminder of who writes the majority of it. Where did this person come from and who does she really represent? I dont think the plan wouldve been successful if they had a man speak like her since they already had hitler radical guy, thats why they used her to soften the blow. She also appears to be pretending to be something to push a narrative about jews. Funny because if you dare compare black peoples issues with that group today, todays jews fight against the theory and scream antisemitism. Blm is funded by people from that same religious group though. Crazy. History is very skewed on purpose imo. All the while they were brewing up the race war complex between black and white that carry out today. Today both white and black women foolishly fight for this org to exist and continue its wickedness.

  • Just horrifying. I am the mother of an adopted 35 year old son. He had a super bad reaction to baby vaccines and at 35, he is non verbal, still needs diapers, is basically like a toddler in every way except his 6 foot 3 inch, 245 pound body. Also his mother gave him strep B on the way out and doctors lied to my ex husband and me, and told us he would be just fine. When we realized he was disabled, we found a Friend of the birth mom and found out she had hidden her pregnancy and had had no prenatal care. She had done drugs and alcohol too. Everyone involved lied to us to help the biological family “deal with the problem “. The birth mother turned out to be a 15 year old girl. My son is mixed race. Margaret would have murdered him immediately. He is profoundly autistic and brain injured. I am a white woman and we have had to deal with prejudice from both blacks and whites. People hate my son and me, we have had so many death threats I lost count. My husband took off and ive been alone with my beloved son for 33 years. Two old white women sneared at me when I had taken my son out to eat… THATS WHY THERE IS ABORTION. I was stunned but I was enraged. I leaned over their table and said back… if only your mothers had aborted you both. My son was about 5 years old and so beautiful. I wept for weeks and now I’m remembering again and now I’m crying. The world agrees with Margaret and whenever i risk taking my son into the world, I bring a taser and I am ready to fight to protect my son.

  • I have friends and associates that refuse to check her out themselves. I have been posting about her and the horrors of the Eugenics movement for years. This will be another source I will post about her, that most will not watch. Few have the stomach, or could care about this evil woman, and those like her. I live in the free state of Montana, that has put restrictions on abortion, but decades ago had bought into Eugenics. It was still on the books when I was born in the sixties, and I always wonder if I would be alive today if born here. I spent my first two weeks in an incubator, before my mother ever held me. Florida was one of the few states, that did not join in the movement.

  • The issue with the kind of eugenics Sanger promoted (other than it’s blatant racism and mass murder) is that an individual’s ‘phenotype’ is shaped by environmental factors, not just the tyranny of an individual’s underlying genetics. Around 20 years ago, a wealthy New Zealand industrialist ‘sponsored’ a classroom of approximately 30 students beginning their first year of schooling in one of the poorest areas of the country (the kind of ‘degenerates’ Sanger would have had aborted). As part of this 17 year sponsorship (age 5 to 22) each child was given access to nutritious food, necessary personal and household appliances their families were unable to afford, counselling, private high schooling and all college and trade certifications paid for. By the age of 22, the group had outperformed not just their non-sponsored peers but had achieved results consistent with the children of high net worth families. 100% of those who attended college successfully graduated. Those kids who were ‘written off’ by society (and would have been aborted by Sanger and co) are today prosperous, model citizens.

  • She was not the first, Charles Darwin’s book “origin of the species” was originally subtitled “preservation of favoured races in the struggle for life”. Darwin’s half cousin sir Francis Galton inspired by Darwin’s work took it a step further. It was him that coined the word “Eugenics” which he described as “a moral philosophy to improve humanity by encouraging the best and brightest to breed”, whilst thinking of ways to discourage those he considered weaker genetics to breed or race.

  • I love the way you laid out and eloquently stated the biography of Margaret Sanger. Reading through her 10 philosophies, I felt sickened to see people viewed as merely cogs and statistics to the intelligentsia of eugenic. But nonetheless I also saw that majority of those philosophies are spouted off today by the higher education types. These people may be logically gifted but their moral compass requires repair.

  • I personally know someone who had to go on welfare for awhile after her marriage ended and she had a baby. During the whole time she was pressured relentlessly by the social worker to undergo a tubal ligation. Even though her time on welfare was brief she felt she had to do what they said because they threatened to take away her child. Later she got a good job and remarried. Then she wanted to have more children but couldnt because of basically being forced to be sterilized. Sad

  • Thank you for the outstanding article on Margaret Sanger. It’s evident that she was a profoundly troubled woman who saw abuse everywhere and apparently never saw peace of mind. Blaming others never solves anything – a concept wholly foreign to her. Unfortunately, few people are aware of the immeasurable damage she has done to our society and the world. Thanks again for your efforts.

  • She seems like someone who spoke out of both sides of her mouth, putting forth socially acceptable platitudes when speaking to a general audience, but letting her guard down and revealing her real convictions among like minded people. I don’t condemn everything for which she stood. I believe birth control should be available and that people shouldn’t have children they can’t afford to feed, house and clothe. When I read about drug addicts letting their children starve in filth while dedicating all their resources to feeding their own habits, I don’t object to the idea of at least temporarily preventing them from compounding the problem with more offspring. I’d also rather be aborted than born with a severe disability. But one also has to acknowledge that modern society is in a death spiral because of what Sanger’s followers have accomplished, and that whether she wanted it or not, what we now have in the likes of Fauci, Schwab, Harari and Gates, goes far beyond limiting the “unfit”; the forced medications we’ve had since 2021 are actually making people unfit. Humans may be doomed; they seem incapable of handling power without abusing it one way or the other.

  • Thank you so much for this program! So very informative. And obviously there are reasons they do not teach the stuff in school or the educational system I should say. So sad that there are people out there and have been people out there that are so evil, Interestingly. She was one saying that disabled mentally physically or otherwise as well as inferior people should be terminated. She was the one inferior interesting! What a shame! Sorry for all those who suffered and continue to do so! Again thank you for all this education your website provides! Stay well have a beautiful day

  • Truly appreciate this thorough history on Sanger. Thank you for putting her most vile quotes all together in one place. This is one to share with the masses. I feel compelled to share it during Black History Month, specifically. Hoping to gain attention about how support for Planned Parenthood is one of the most racist things a person can support. With so much attention on Israel this would be a great time to share this for our Jewish brothers & sisters who don’t know the history of their liberal political views!

  • Excellent exposition! Thank you! Many Native American women, whether they were from Canada, the USA, or Mexico and Puerto Rico were victims of the eugenics war against brown people. A friend of mine (Mexican American) from Los Angeles told me that his aunt broke down at a family party, and started to cry, when the relatives asked what was wrong with her, she asked out loud… Do you all know why I never had children? She then told a story about her and two of her friends during their teenage years in the 1940s who were walking home and were picked up by the LAPD and taken to a clinic or hospital or doctor where they were surgically rendered sterile. Check out info on the clinics on the reservations.

  • I read her approved boography decades ago. I took notes but may take some time and luck to locate the notebook. I don’t remember any acknowledgement of the Nazis, but my notes would confirm much of the other content of the article. I remember that she was also active in anarchist groups and mentioned sending a letter of appreciation to McKinley’s assassin.

  • How are you doing dr Colin . Happy Independence Day to you and all USA citizens. Thank you for your wonderful cultural documentary website. We appreciate your great efforts as foreigners subscribers as overseas students want to increase our cultural level improve our English as well. I gathered main information about topics you mentioned briefly as always here it’s Margaret Sanger ( 1879 – 1966 ), she was American birth control activist, sex educator, writer, nurse . She popularized term ” birth control “, opened first birth control clinic in USA, established organizations that involve into planned parenthood federation of America. In 1952 she was nominated for Nobel peace prize, in 1966 President Lyndon Johnson awarded her presidential medal of freedom.

  • Mary Jane Gray was an OBGYN doctor practicing in the late 60s in Vermont. She started a branch of Planned Parenthood at Mary Fletcher Hospital in Burlington Vermont. By 1973 she left town suddenly one night and no one knew where she went. She died in 2022 in Oregon. She was a follower of Margaret Sanger. She was a cold blooded female doctor in my opinion.

  • I became pregnant at 19.. I went to Planned Parenthood to take the test in 1990. I can say from personal experience that I was given my options, keep my baby or adoption or abortion. I was never swayed one way or another. I was given all the info, and I was helped to get into a Maternity clinic when I chose to keep my baby girl. That baby girl is now 33 years old. She is a special education teacher with a Master’s in instruction and curriculum. I chose to keep my baby but that doesn’t mean I can tell other women what to do with their bodies. I had a very good support system, not every woman has that. It doesn’t matter how I feel about abortion because every woman deserves to make her own decisions. If you are appalled by Eugenics you should be just as appalled by our government taking women’s rights over their bodies away.

  • Thank you for this most illuminating history of Margaret Sanger. I knew most but not all of her history. It is simply unfathomable that she was able to appeal to so many with her evil thoughts, opinions and policies over the years. May God save us from a return to acceptance of her inhumane ideology. I shudder to even think of her now.

  • This is why I love this website …… the truth and always the truth ! I cringe at election time and everyday life in democrat led city, seeing that most of the black population backing the democrats and not realizing they are still being controlled . In stead of outright slavery, it is now through manipulation and deception by the people who who repressed blacks then and now …… also founded the KKK . Another good topic would be how the democratic party came to prominence and moving from the South and making the NE their base of power ….. read alittle about it the read it was when the KKK was at the height of its power .

  • If you look at the family photo of Margaret with her three sister (2:28) you might consider the three sisters are particularly beautiful while Margaret was a bit of a “Plain Jane”, as the term might have been called to her as a child. If one’s background and upbringing has any influence on us as adults, I would venture the guess that Margaret is guilty of loathing herself and feeling inferior to her more beautiful sisters. As Christians, we are commanded to Love the Lord and to Love our neighbors as ourselves, to do unto others as we would have them do unto us, and lastly, to Love our enemies. Her antagonism towards Christianity seems to demonstrate she didn’t like these commandments very well. No where in Scripture are we ever told to love ourselves as is so common today In counseling sessions. The Bible assumes we love and care for ourselves. Looking at the beauty of others, is a sin because it becomes an act of Worship. We must never worship the creature (Romans 1:25) only the Lord our God- the First of the Ten commandments. By worshiping the creature, we open ourselves up to all kinds of heinous sins and crimes. Romans chapter 1.

  • I’ve known about Sanger for most of my life. A very evil woman. Of my nine children, four went into the Marine Corps, one combat arms in the Army and one into the Air Force security services. For now, I have 24 grandchildren, for now. Home educated. Sanger and I would not get along, I think. Sic Semper Tyranus

  • When I told a former friend about Sanger’s connections to the KKK, she told me “well just because she spoke at a really doesn’t mean she really agreed with them!”🙄 She’s now a former friend because after becoming a full-blown communist (“religion, private property, private business, currency and the family should be outlawed”) and accused me of “not growing as a human” by joining her in her new beliefs, she started voicing her support for eugenics, because “if the ill, the elderly or the disabled can’t contribute to society, they don’t deserve to live. If their disabilities can be identified in the womb they should be aborted by mandate, regardless of the parent’s desires. And we need to dismantle the NICUs, because if a baby is born early enough to need that kind of support to survive, they don’t deserve it. Those resources could be better used in other places.” My son was a NICU baby, and is autistic. I could not be friends with someone who thinks he should be “euthanized.”

  • As a American of Hispanic descent who has ASD Margaret would see me as unfit to live. This woman went to Nazi (National Socialist) Germany to learn about the methods of Eugenics. She also gave lectures at Democrat kkk rallies in New Jersey. She also labled Blacks/Asians and Jews as Undesirables and weeds. The origins of this Eugenics goes all the way back to Darwinism and the theory of “Only the Strongest shall live” . Glenn Beck has a article on this… really eye opening.

  • eugenics is good, dysgenics is bad. Eugenics doesn’t need to hurt, kill or sterilize anyone either. Anyone who thinks eugenics is always bad is incredibly unintelligent. Everyone practices a form of eugenics when seeking out a mate. Everyone looks for someone 1)smart and 2)physically attractive 3)moral All of the above are part of eugenic selection. People also want smart, attractive and moral babies. Again, this is eugenics Anyone who is “anti-eugenics” supports child abusers and drug addicts having children, which is Dysgenics. Dysgenics hurts children and hurts society, not eugenics. Also, the “elite” who practice eugenics aren’t actually practicing eugenics. They are also practicing Dysgenics but are so degenerate they think it is eugenics. It’s not. Producing sociopathic and psychopathic offspring is by definition NOT EUGENICS. It is by definition DYSGENICS.

  • I’ve read bits of her biography and it seems she had children of her own but neglected them. It appears she was also a proponent of “free sex.” She was all about women’s sexual freedom as long as that freedom wasn’t granted to those she didn’t like. She definitely didn’t like the poor (whether black or white) who kept “breeding” and their children becoming a “burden” to society. She blamed poverty on unrestrained sex. She was a follower of Thomas Malthusias and used birth control for POPULATION CONTROL all under the guise of “women’s rights.” “The lack of balance between the birth-rate of the “unfit” and the “fit,” admittedly the greatest present menace to the civilization, can never be rectified by the inauguration of a cradle competition between these two classes. The example of the inferior classes, the fertility of the feeble-minded, the mentally defective, the poverty-stricken, should not be held up for emulation to the mentally and physically fit, and therefore less fertile, parents of the educated and well-to-do classes. On the contrary, the most urgent problem to-day is how to limit and discourage the over-fertility of the mentally and physically defective. Possibly drastic and Spartan methods may be forced upon American society if it continues complacently to encourage the chance and chaotic breeding that has resulted from our stupid, cruel sentimentalism.” Margaret Sanger-The Pivot of Civilization

  • In my youth I often wondered how people could be so susceptible as to follow the likes of Hitler or Mao. Over time I came to realized in America many viewed Margret Sanger with a similar reverence. While the policies Sanger promoted met resistance in America, her vision for family planning, sterilization, forced abortion, and the genetic supremacy of a single race came to fruition under Deng Xiaoping with China’s one child policy. Somehow we view it in China with horror, but promote it as a women’s right to choose here at home.

  • God has a plan for every child that is conceived. Who knows of these lost children if they would have invented the cure to cancer or what other contributions they could’ve made that will never know about. We forget that we as a society benefit from caring for those less fortunate . We grow and think of others rather than ourselves.

  • I went to an estate sale last year and bought 6 Ladies Home Journal magazines dated from 1910 and beyond. These mags were HUGE back then and filled with so much information, ads, etc. One ad caught my eye. There it was…..in a LADIES magazine……an ad for eugenics – asking that women just “think” about how wonderful it would be. I was APPALLED. Eugenics has been around that far back??? Am not surprised that Sanger endorsed it considering how racist she was. Dems are such hypocrites.

  • It is amazing how skilfully the so called “socialist” Margaret Sanger is associated with the “socialist”, “left” ideology, without actually focusing on the whole eugenic movement of the elite (like Churchill). Sanger was actually rather disdainful towards the working class, as she considered the simple workmen as inferior. So far from a “socialist” idea. Even more contemptuous was her view on poor people, as she considered their blight as a lack of intellectual capacity to achieve better performance and unable (“handicapped”) to find their way out of poverty themselves. That is why she wanted abortion of children born in poverty, as those kids according to her beliefs would genetically transmit the intellectual insufficiency. This was all but socialist! If she had been socialist she would have been fighting for getting those poor people out of poverty and would have been engaging herself in higher and more just wages, for better housing and housing conditions,…. None of all that. She was racist and elitist and feared the rage of the crowd when their hardship got intolerable and managed to organise themselves. To call her “socialist”, if not an insult, the greatest poppy cock I ever heard. But how many people will fall for it…? I guess 90% that watch that documentary. And if eugenics were a socialist concept why had none of the former communist countries adopted such a birth control program? By did this happen only in capitalist countries?

  • I knew all this about Sanger. And how this targets black families, minorites and poor people. I don’t understand how society at large doesn’t see how insidious Sanger’s ideology was. In her own words she doesn’t believe “inferior” people should have offspring. She used rhe words “a CLEANER race” would be the result.

  • Just a fun fact of where this is present today, the “Humanist” movement formed in the UK, quietly still supports Eugenics. Their founders, members of the Huxley family, were staunch believers in Eugenics. So all you “progressive” denouncers of religious faith, this is what your movement believes. Isn’t it wonderful to start a new belief system, only to make the exact same mistakes as the religions and beliefs you mock and criticize? I guess it’s more, wonderfully ironic, than just wonderful.??
