How do I figure out my astrology chart?

To create a birth chart, you need the date, time, and location of your birth. Use an online birth chart calculator like Cafe Astrology to fill out the form, which will display a circle-within-a-circle with numbers, astrological signs, and symbols. Focus on the sun, moon, and rising signs, which are the planets most influencing your personality. Then, consider the Houses, which represent different areas of our lives.

Astrologer Lisa Stardust has provided a primer on birth chart basics to help beginners get started. The process is not difficult, and it’s essential to have a clear understanding of your birth chart to make informed decisions.

Which type of astrology chart is most accurate?

The Vedic chart is the most accurate, as it aligns the zodiac with the constellations using the sidereal zodiac, whereas the Western chart, created around 275 CE, uses the tropical zodiac, which was once considered to be accurate.

What is the 1st rarest zodiac?

Ophiuchus, the ‘Serpent-bearer’, is sometimes suggested in sidereal astrology as a 13th astrological sign in addition to the 12 signs of the tropical zodiac. The constellation Ophiuchus is located behind the Sun from November 29 to December 18. The idea of a 13-sign zodiac originated in 1970 with Steven Schmidt’s suggestion of a 14-sign zodiac, including Cetus as a sign. Walter Berg and Mark Yazaki promulgated a 13-sign zodiac in 1995, which gained popularity in Japan, where Ophiuchus is known as Hebitsukai-za.

However, in sidereal and tropical astrology, a 12-sign zodiac is based on dividing the ecliptic into 12 equal parts, rather than the IAU constellation boundaries. Astrological signs do not correspond to their namesakes, especially in the tropical system where divisions are fixed relative to the equinox.

Is there astrology in Islam?

Is there astrology in Islam?

The earliest Islamic stance against astrology can be traced back to individuals such as Abd al-Jabbar and Abu Ma’shar al-Balkhi, who sought to justify the causal influence of celestial beings on terrestrial life forms. Historical texts like Kitab al-Daraj provide evidence of the presence of astrology in early Islam. However, even before these individuals, historians and theologians like Al Hashimi sought to justify the role of astrology in influencing Islamic adherents’ religion.

Al Hashimi, through philosophers like Masha Allah, explored the possibility of the influence of stars on one’s morality and religion in general. He cited Masha Allah’s idea that the Islamic prophet Muhammad’s birth was a result of a coming together of celestial objects, essentially pointing to the inherent birth of Muhammad as a result of astrological events. Both Masha Allah and Al Hashimi draw upon similarities but draw upon their inherent stance in pointing to the planets, stars, and other celestial beings as the primary means by which divine rule is exercised, i. e., how God emanates control over all life forms.

Early Muslims relied on the sun and moon to determine important things such as the direction of Mecca, fasting times for Ramadan, and the beginning and end of each month. They used astrology and the position of the planets to predict the health and well-being of individuals, with eclipses in Libra, Aquarius, or Gemini being predictions of worldwide plagues, and comets or shooting stars being predictions of famine and sickness.

Many interpretations of the Quran point to astrology as that which goes against the fundamental principles preached by the Islamic religious tradition. Astrology ultimately points to the role of celestial beings in influencing terrestrial life and the everyday lives of individuals, ultimately hindering their destiny. Various excerpts from the Quran are interpreted to disprove this theory, with the Quran in Surah Al-Jinn suggesting that any such presence of extraterrestrial influence on mankind is not plausible and is therefore haram (forbidden) in Islam.

The Hadith, a reference to the instructions and practices of Muhammad, encourages adherents of the Islamic faith to embody the concept of astrology. Muhammad made various claims regarding the legality/illegality of astrology with regards to the Islamic religious tradition, such as the belief that rain is a bounty bestowed only by Allah (God). The Hadith makes specific mention to the stars, suggesting that those who suggest rain originates as a result of a star are a disbeliever in Me (Allah).

This works to fundamentally embody the concept of astrology and the consequent belief in the idea that celestial beings have an influence on anything other than what enshrined in the Quran and Hadith as shirk (blasphemy), leading one to leave the fold of the religion.

What is the rarest birth chart?

The Grand Cross, or Grand Square, is a rare natal chart aspect in astrology where four personal planets are separated by 90 degrees on the birth chart, forming a square shape and cross. Each of the four elements of astrology is represented in this cross, with all signs sharing the same modality. The Grand Cross’s energy is conflicting due to the tense and oppositional square aspect, which can create difficulties for the native. This is particularly relevant for those in the Angular, Cadent, or Succedent Houses, as squares and oppositions can create difficulties in finding love.

What is placidus in astrology?

The Placidus method is a Renaissance-era technique for calculating houses. It involves marking the cusps of houses in two-hour increments from birth, based on the degree of the zodiac sign rising on the eastern horizon at the time of birth.

What’s the rarest birth month?

Despite the fact that February is a leap year, data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Social Security Administration indicate that it is the shortest month of the year. Additionally, February is the least common month for those born under the Aquarius zodiac sign.

How do you know your chart type?

To effectively use charts, consider the number of variables, data points, and axis scale. Line, bar, and column charts represent change over time, while pyramids and pie charts show parts of a whole. Scatter plots and treemaps are useful for large data visualizations. Infogram can enhance your team’s work by providing a brief Zoom session with a Customer Success Manager to explore key features and answer questions. Line charts reveal trends or changes over time and can be applied to various categories, such as daily visitor count or stock price variations.

What are my big 3 signs?

What are my big 3 signs?

The horoscope is a tool used to understand one’s personality by identifying the “big three” placements – the sun, the moon, and the ascendant. The sun sign, also known as the zodiac sign, represents the core of an individual and their ego. It is considered the engine that drives them and reflects their basic personality traits. The moon, on the other hand, is crucial in forming an understanding of an individual’s emotional life and reactions in different contexts.

It represents the softer side of an individual, describing their sincerity and introversion. The moon also reveals the first response in different situations, such as the first instinct when pressure or drama arises. In essence, the horoscope helps to provide a clear picture of an individual’s personality and their unique traits.

  • After a few years of deep diving into Kibbe, the essence system, etc. it makes so much sense to consider astrological placements in the curation of personal style. I have Venus rising in Sagittarius, and my sun +four other planets in Capricorn, so I focus on those two signs a lot. Thinking about how to honor my moon in leo with a touch of glam. My chart is very earth/fire heavy. Searching for celebs by ascendant worked really well – I immediately connected with Zoe Kravitz who is already on my list of style icons.

  • I just watched your article about finding your personal style. You talked about how you choose your jewlery, fragrance, etc. How you choose things that mean a lot to you, bring you back to sweet, beautiful and important memories. It’s because of your Cancer moon! Nostalgia galore! Cancer rules the 4th house which is about the roots, our childhood, memories, home and things that bring us comfort and meaning.

  • my biggest style muse has got to be alice glass and i just realized that she has the same sun sign as me (i am a virgo sun and rising also). her earlier style resonates with me and i think its a good example of what the virgo energy looks like when its expressed in a darker manner. her outfits are simple and minimalistic yet punky and edgy and i love that.

  • I love this! 👏🏻 It would be interesting to add another layer like the ruling planet of each sign. For example Mars is the ruler of both Aries and Scorpio. Venus is the ruler of both Taurus and Libra. My top two are Pisces and Libra. My third is either Gemini or Cancer. Sooo excited to watch more of your articles!! 😍✨

  • 😂 mine is sun pisces, moon aries, mercury pisces, venus aries. Im a pisces and aries sandwhich, i dont look to anyone for inspiration or guidence especially style, i just like to do it myself,in my own creative way which is very reminiscent of my rising sign Libra. Although, i do relate to rihannas style, she expresses herself in a very similar way in her style as i do. We also share sun in pisces and you mentioned in the TR article she has a lot of aries and i do too and i have also been reffered to as a trend setter which is very aries. I love the idea of mixing this spirtual concept of fashion and astrology entwined, its magical

  • This was super interesting! It was especially interesting because I am Pisces dominent and you went more in depth with the Pisces placements. It’s a bit difficult for me because my chart is very much Pisces and Aquarius. I have a Pisces stellium (sun, Venus, and mercury) in the 1st house, and Aquarius stellium (moon, Uranus, Neptune, and Jupiter) in the 12th house. So Pisces/12th house energy is prominent as well as Aquarius. All the other signs take a back seat. So it’s hard for me to determine the 3rd sign I resonate with. I don’t even feel I resonate much with Aquarius except for my need to be unique. Personally I prefer wearing darker colors. But most of my style muses I don’t share any placements with. And most are all cancer moons! It’s very weird I have no cancer in my chart. I’m still trying to find my Pisces and Aquarius muses. Has anyone else used house placements to style themselves? I’m feeling like my 12th house/1st house energy is what I prefer to website in style.

  • I have a libra moon. leo sun, mercury, North Node (7th H). With Aqua rising, neptune, uranus, South Node. My MC is sagittarius, and scorpio mars (10th H), Virgo venus (8th H). Honestly i love very scorpio looks, more innocent libra/virgo combo looks that are more sweet, and more quirky looks like retro futurism. I love so many aesthetics, so its hard to kinda pick just one.

  • Jeff Goldblum! Totally quirky and wonderful. Some of his outfits are a bit over the top for me, but it’s so much fun! I wear similar Hawaiian shirts, and I love his style in sunglasses. 😄 I’m pretty sure he’s the same color season as me (winter), and possibly similar essence blend, natural and gamine, though I think someone said he’s dramatic. My gamine lets me feel good wearing “men’s” clothing. 😉 He has the same rising and moon signs as me (cancer asc, sagittarius 🌛). I’m binge perusal your old articles. Lots of great style tips. 😊👍👍

  • I’m a Pisces (sun and descendant) but i only have virgo as my rising, then i have Aries placements in Mercury, Venus and Jupiter, and Scorpio placements in Moon, Mars and black moon Lilith….then my Aquarius placements are in Uranus and Neptune I don’t know what to do about my charts and my fashion sense 😂😂 I usually am very eclectic when it comes to fashion some days I’m very pure and girly, while other times I’m very tomboyish or have a biker style like using Leathers

  • Hey! I just found an Interesting correlation in my chart and wanted to share! My rising sign is Leo, whose ruler is the Sun. My Sun sign is Libra, whose ruler is Venus. My Venus is in Sagittarius! I tried looking at celebs w a gemini moon at first but nothing rly clicked there, bc ultimately gemini’s main trait is muteability and doesn’t have a strong personality to build a style off of. But THEN, out of curiosity i looked at Sagittatius Venus and i found billie eilish and katy perry and tina turner and i was like OH !! Ye this is Something i can work with. I’ve a Lot of fire and air in my chart overall so i think i could Probably work with my rising-sun-venus triad for fashion? Bc my sun and venus are so closely linked, it makes sense they’d enhance each other right?
