What is a leaper animal?
The desert leaper, a Posthomic animal, has evolved over 50 million years and is descended from the sand rat. Its tail is unique, as it can lose 50% of its body weight without causing harm. The animal’s subcutaneous fat stores food, allowing it to go without eating when food is scarce.
