To make a Shiny Sandwich, players must use Herba Mystica, which can be earned from 5 and 6-star Raids. Catching Powers with Salty Herba Mystica can increase the likelihood of catching Shiny Pokemon. A normal-Type Shiny Sandwich is made with 2 Salty Herba and 1 Chorizo and lasts for 30 minutes.

Sandwich Powers last 30 minutes of real-time play, giving players a half-hour to take advantage of their meal powers. All Shiny Sandwich Recipes require Herba Mystica, and a working list of every sandwich recipe in the game is provided. The best way to farm Herba Mystica for shiny sandwiches is to battle in 5 and 6 star raids, which are unlocked once players have completed them.
