Former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick has been criticized for sharing conspiracy theories on social media, including a recent podcast episode discussing aliens editing human DNA to limit lifespans. Despite being labeled as a “Conspiracy Theorist” in mainstream media and labeled uneducated even for Formula 1 commentary, Patrick is not a radical right-wing figure. In a June 2024 episode of “Pretty Intense”, Patrick spoke to Elizabeth April, a psychic who believes the conspiracy theory that humanoid reptilians are disguising. With close to 900K followers on Instagram, Patrick continues to prove her power as a social media influencer.
Patrick has previously come under fire for her “insensitive” remarks about former competitors, apparent support of Donald Trump, and for secretly platforming conspiracy theories about aliens. In a recent interview with Tucker Carlson on “The Tucker”, Patrick revealed why she has indulged various conspiracy theories on her podcast.
Patrick is an American former professional race car driver, entrepreneur, and host of the Pretty Intense Podcast. She has also been under fire for promoting the existence of lizard people. The broadcaster gave the quarterback free rein to spread misinformation on The Pat McAfee Show, and then he started taking aim at the network itself.
Patrick is under fire in 2024 for unapologetically sharing her values and speaking the truth on social media, with many trying to discredit her as a “Danica Rule” conspiracy theorist.

Danica Patrick was The Catalyst of The Jeff Gordon/Clint Bowyer Saga in 2012 (Which Foreshadowed The Matt Kenseth/Joey Logano Saga in 2015) because of The Contract between Stewart Haas Racing and Tommy Baldwin Racing on The 10 Car benefitting both teams where Danica ran 10 races while David Reutimann ran the rest of the season on her behalf to stay in the Top 35 in which guaranteed her a spot in the start she made
This is just a case of 1st amendment. I don’t care for her podcast or the guests she brings on. She and the guests have the right to discuss their wacky beliefs and you have the right to make fun of it. But overall it doesn’t bother me and I don’t think it invalidate her from also talking about motorsport. There are much more toxic stuff being advertised and recommended to the general viewers on YouTube worth criticizing, but again this is my opinion too.
People who lack a discerning mind fall into these conspiracy theory rabbit holes. School can teach you facts (hopefully!), but it can’t teach you critical thinking. It also doesn’t help that she’s suffered at least mild TBI from her many hard wrecks over the years. The best we can do is ignore her nonsense. She can figure it out on her own.
About 12 yrs ago my husband and I saw something so weird and so incomprehensible that it’s still hard for me to believe that what we both saw was real. After work I was driving my truck down Del Prado Blvd, a very busy 3 lane street in Cape Coral Fl, my husband was sitting next to me in the passenger seat when we stopped at a red light. I heard him gasp, it was such an unusual sound for him to make that I instantly looked over to see what was happening. He was shaking as he stared down into the silver Mercedes next to us. I followed his line of sight down into the car and got the shock of my life. We both saw a thing sitting in that driver’s seat, it had what looked like a scaly pale smooth snake/lizard like muzzle and then, in a blink of an eye, it changed into a pretty but very upset looking blonde woman. It was my turn to gasp, I was Absolutely F’n Dumfounded & stuttering”Wa Wa Wa What…omg what the hell is that?!” All of this happened in a flash but at the same time it seemed like an eternity. The light turned green and the woman-thing sped off. I heard several loud honks from the cars behind that finally made me snap out it and drive forward. I still remember how hard my heart was pounding in my chest and how clammy my hands were and how my mouth and throat had become so dry that I could barely whisper “did you see that?” All my husband said was “Uh huh” and then he was eerily silent for the rest of the drive home. We didn’t talkfor hours. After walking thru the front door, my husband went directly into the restroom and holed himself up in there.
I got click-baited into perusal this, and by this, I mean a podcast talking about another podcast. But at the same time, I thought, “Sure, I’ll bite.” However, I must admit confusion over the way you talk about Danica Patrick here. I am not, nor have I ever been, a fan of hers…I’m basically indifferent about her, I guess. But what did SHE, herself, actually say in the clip you showed that is so crazy? She made a joke about Men in Black. All of the “out there” stuff was from the person with her, not from Danica herself. I would assume that if you include one clip, it would be the most damning, but I think you perhaps see this as more than it actually is. And if you think she should not have had this person on or if she had them on, edit the article or not release it altogether. But perhaps she doesn’t want to censor someone else in a country with free speech. Just my two cents. Stay classy, YouTube.
