Does God reveal your future spouse?

In summary, it is crucial to treat prophecies with care and not treat them as promises. Prophecies are not promises, and even if they come to pass, they are not a guarantee. It is important to be attentive to what God is saying and not treat them as promises.

If someone prophesies to you, you can go against it and not have sinned. For example, if you heard God speak about a man becoming your husband but he married someone else, you should know that he was not the right man for you at the time. However, you should not pray for the death of his wife or for the marriage to break apart, as Christians should desire the permanence of the marriage institution. Instead, you should move on and meet someone else.

Femi Osunnuyi, lead pastor of City Church, a gospel-centered urban church in Lagos, emphasizes the importance of waiting for the prophecy before discussing it. He serves on the Lead Team of Acts29 and the Advisory Team of City to City Africa, and is happily married to Tosin and father to Tofunmi and Timilehin. By being careful and attentive to what God is saying, we can ensure that our prophecies are not a promise but rather a reminder of the importance of faith and the potential for change.

To find your soulmate in a birth chart, use your rising sun sign or seventh house on the left side of your chart, and look for partners with the opposite sign on the chart. How do you know who your life partner will be?

A life partner should have a solid foundation, effective communication, shared values, respect, empathy, appreciation for imperfections, openness to influence, and affection in the way needed. This is not about physical or financial aspects, but about strong physical, emotional, social, financial, and purposeful roots. A partner should be able to stand on their own in each aspect of life or actively work on doing so.

These traits not only benefit the partner but also benefit the partner, as they don’t have to fill the gaps in their self-worth, confidence, and security. Being in a relationship with someone who takes responsibility for their own wellness means you won’t have to fill them.

  • I got a Pisces 7th house with Jupiter in Aquarius in the 6th. Me and my boyfriend met 2 years ago when we both worked at a company that made vitamins and digestive supplements. Very 6th house of us. He’s got a lot of Sagittarius in his chart with a Pisces Jupiter in his 9th house, and growing up he played a lot of sports and ended up having a lot of injuries and surgeries because of it.

  • I don’t think Jupiter being husband should be dismissed so easily. That’s like saying Venus doesn’t represent women or wife in a mans chart. Jupiter definitely has significance to relationship based themes. Also don’t forgot Jupiter represents abundance and celebration and merrymaking, usually those type of themes come from weddings and other ceremonial events. So even if Jupiter doesn’t come with husband title it could represent something else within the marriage, which is often seen in D9 Chart.

  • This is an age old argument, accidental Vs essential configurations. For example, the 7th house represents relationships VS Planets representing relationships. If you dig far back in ancient astrology you’ll find astrologers not placing much emphasis on the houses but placing emphasis on the natural rulership of the planets. For example, Venus ruling love/women in a mans chart, rather than using the 7th house.

  • Thank you for addressing the topic (as well as starheal)! I’ve seen that appear a few times, I think it comes from Vedic astrology where Jupiter might represent the husband and Venus the wife. But it doesn’t make sense to mix Western and Vedic astrology like that… Anyways nice fit and thank again for a concise and accurate article!

  • Have there been any transits around justice the last couple days? Some big arrests have been made (Moscow, Idaho killer & Andrew Tate), and I was wondering if the astrology is supporting that or if it suggests that the charges will stick. Maybe a article idea if that’s too much to bother with in a comment?

  • Oh this is fun, so I’m a Cancer rising so Capricorn rules my 7H which is ruled by Saturn. My Saturn is in my 6H house in Sagittarius, I am attracted to Capricorn qualities but I desire everything about Sagittarius men or men with Sagittarius qualities. I’m into men who like to travel, free spirits, a little off kilter, fun loving, happy go lucky, jovial, funny, etc. Thank you for clearing this up, this makes so much sense now!!

  • @Maren You are correct in your assessment of partner placement. However, when some of the best astrologers (check out Ernst Wilhem Youtube article titled “Jupiter is your husband” for the correct meaning) say “Jupiter is your husband”, it pertains to the qualities or character a “good” husband should bring to the relationship. Hence “Jupiter is your husband” and “Mars is the temporary boyfriend type or fling”. And that contention has little to do with natal house placement or transit.

  • Yeah I watched a different article about a week ago on Jupiter being your husband/wife. I think I mentioned on that article that Jupiter itself is a great way to know if specific ideals and beliefs of one person would jive with another, hence why it’s important to look at in synastry. Can’t say that that’s gonna be your husband or wife though.

  • Hey Maren, I love your vids and watch them regularly, tho I’m a lot older, I think youre super cool, lol. K quick question: in a relationship, where one person has a stelium of personal planets in Libra and the other one has the same stelium in Aries, which one has the upper hand- ever? Also btw, the Libra person has moon in Capricorn and the Aries’ moon is in Taurus. I’d love to hear back. Thanks!

  • You are not quite right, but not quite wrong either. Jupiter is my chart ruler. My husbands 7th has Sagittarius and Saturn sitting there. I’m also a Capricorn Sun, Pisces rising. We got engaged when my Jupiter was transiting my 7th H. My got married when my mother’s Jupiter was transiting her 7th house. My sister as well. There is some truth to it

  • The ruler of the 7th house and how it aspects in the chart is helpful. Like you said. Very good presentation. You are intelligent in astrology and attractive as well. Also, look to the 9th house for the 2nd serious relationship and the 11th for the 3rd serious. Pranayama/breathing techniques would be great for you as Mercury is so active in your personality. Blessings, Lou. Fishnets… yum, yum.

  • Virgo rising with Pisces 7th. Jupiter is in Sagittarius 3rd house. Jupiter sextiles the sun and and Venus (which are both in Libra), so I guess it’s safe to say that I won’t have trouble finding a husband. But when it comes to dating I’d have a harder time. Neptune in Capricorn 5th. Saturn is in Pisces 7th (lol) Saturn trines with Moon, Mars, and Pluto all in Scorpio 3rd and Uranus 5th, so I like my relationship kinda intense/unusual, or that’s what it sounds like. Met my boyfriend on Tinder (very Uranus 5th) and he has Scorpio moon, rising, and Pluto. This relationship feels like a godsend.

  • I’m a Virgo rising so my 7th house is Pisces, my Jupiter is in Libra (Neptune in Capricorn). My 5th house is Capricorn, Saturn’s in Aquarius (Uranus in Capricorn) Aquarius rules technology and I met my boyfriend online. He’s a Capricorn rising, (Libra sun) his 7th house ruler is cancer and his moon is in Scorpio 11th house (11h rules social media) his 5th house is ruled by Taurus and his Venus is in Virgo (I’m a Virgo rising with Venus in the first house)

  • My 7th house ruler is Venus in Pisces and it’s in the 5th house conjunct Saturn, trine Cancer moon in 9H, opposite Virgo Chiron Rx in 11H, and square my Sag Jupiter in 2H. I also have south node exactly conjunct my Taurus DC. I have never dated, guys don’t express romantic interest, only attract guys that want to hookup when I’m not interested. I didn’t have a lot of friends growing up and I was an outcast, but I had a few super loyal friends. My friends always have my back without me asking. I have the best close friends. My friendships get better as I get older.

  • My 7th house is in Capricorn & Saturn is in my tenth house. I don’t see how this would actually play out for me because I don’t mix business and pleasure. My man and I met on tinder 😅 BUT we originally became aware of each other when I was doing a show with my old band and he was the sound engineer at the venue. So maybe in a weird roundabout way that does fit! Haha

  • My 7 house is Leo which puts its ruler the sun in 10 house. My 5 house is Gemini and my mercury is also in 10 house which would be work. Like Marons. I have been married and divorced 2 times. Both these men I did not find through the work place. So either I am doing something wrong or misunderstanding my placements

  • Capricorn rules my 7th, and Saturn is in the 6th house. My husband has the qualities of Saturn in 6th more than I do lol. He has sag ruling his 7th with Jupiter in 12th, and I am much more Jupiter in 12th house than he is. Obviously we both have some of the qualities innate in us that are of our natal placements, but he is more dominantly Saturnian/type A personality and I am more Jupiter/Pisces/Neptunian vibe and that’s interesting it shows up in each other’s charts

  • Question !! My chart is kinda similar I have My moon in taurus in my 10H Cancer rules my 12th house (empty) And Venus is in my 7th house of Aquarius with a 4 planet stellium and also my south node 🙂 Also Saturn is in my 9th house of Aries 🙂 opposite mars 29degrees in my 3rd What exactly would that determine ? Interpreting stelliums are difficult for me at my level of knowledge rn

  • I was hoping Jupiter would represent my future husband. The ruler of my Taurus 7h is my Taurus Venus which is already in my 7h conjuncting my Taurus Saturn. My Venus is so badly aspected. It’s full of squares and oppositions. Ugh. I might as well stay single… my 5h is Pisces and the ruler is my Aries Jupiter in my 5h. Life is not fair. I want to have a long term relationship

  • Marriage is such a complex topic delineate no matter which system you use. Keyword here certain branches of Jyotish use Jupiter as husband and it’s very specific in cultural usage! However in the greater context of Jyotish you’re looking at aspects to the 7H, planets in the 7H, the 7HL, Venus, and the Navamsha to see spouse. Even saying looking at Jupiter or Venus is over simplified in Jyotish or Vedic Astrology! Hellenistic Astrology is equally as complex. You have Venus & Moon as signifiers for Marriage. Add to that the 7H it’s Lord. However then you have things like the Lot of Eros & Marriage which are derived from your ASC so it’s personal to who your spouse is and circumstances of your marriage. Hell that’s not even factoring the Dodecatemoria that most Hellenistic Astrologers advocated for use. TL;DR Maren’s right & spouse is more than one planet

  • Aries cusp 7th – Mars in 5th. Aquarius cusp 5th (with Mars) – Uranus in Capricorn 3rd house 🤔…so then the “boyfriend” can be an Aquarius with Aries vibes? OR is boyfriend the “this are the boy you go for but ya need to find your Aries man”. 😂 I guess I stuck a bit on that part regarding boyfriend/5th house ruler.

  • Virgo rising conjunct Jupiter in my first house. I suppose there’s a lot of focus on me with partners? Sag is my 5th so it’s complementary? I have Uranus in my 7th which makes my relationship controversial and often have trouble with emotional intimacy with others, alongside complications. Moon is conjunct Pluto in my 5th house so I’m guessing I got complicated relationships generally. My chart has so many challenging aspects it’s not a joke. No wonder I’m a mess. XD

  • Sagittarius Moon in my 4th house with Jupiter with Pisces in my 7th house ( Virgo Rising). My 5th house is Capricorn, with venus being Gemini sun in my 10th house of career. The bad I see in this is that I have the planets of Uranus and Neptune both in my 5th house in capricorn and Saturn being in 7th house of relationships in Pisces. I’m a daytime chart.

  • My seventh is Aquarius. Is it ruled by Saturn or Uranus? If Saturn, the ruler is in my third house in Libra, trine my Sun in Aquarius. That would seem that my marriage would be strong and lasting? Or is it the Uranus in Cancer in my twelfth, making my partner into my hidden enemy? I’m 70 so I’ve watched it play out. Both have been true. My Saturn in Libra is square my Venus in Cap. It has been quite a ride. Nothing lasted, and everything lasted.

  • Sag rising so 7th house in Gemini. Gemini is ruled by Mercury. My Mercury is in my 4th house. So maybe a partner who stimulates me intellectually within my inner circle and/or gives me security? I don’t consider my friends just friends, they’re family. Dominic Toretto style. My 5th house is in Pisces thus ruled by Jupiter. Jupiter is in my 2nd house of Possessions. So maybe my dating life will improve once I have resources or some form of material value? Which makes sense because as a student I’m a brokie and my dating life is abysmal, even though I’m still considered attractive. The real shit is I have both Venus AND Saturn in my my 5th house. Could mean I place a lot of emphasis on my love life through Venus but restrictive Saturn gives me the harshest reality checks.

  • I wonder if my thought process is on the right track…. I am an Aries rising… Libra is my seventh house which is ruled by Venus. I have Venus in Capricorn which is my 10th house which represents career…? I assume this means that my career has a major influence on my close relationships? I also have Leo in my 5th house which is ruled by the sun, which represents dating… My sun is in my 11th house of Aquarius which deals with groups and friendships. Me and my husband were friends before dating and he is also an Aquarius rising…. Not sure if any of that makes sense. I was trying to put all the pieces together. 😶

  • I’m a Virgo rising 😂😂 my Jupiter is in my 11H which is my cancer house and my moon is in my 10H, I guess that means that I’ll meet my husband through the connections I make at work? Also, my 5H is in Capricorn and my Saturn is there too so I guess either I date to marry or not interested at all, right??

  • NOoooo For the love of GOD Will someone please explain to me why my chiron is in 7th in Gemini- opposite of both Juno and Saturn conjunct And My Jupiter is in Pisces 4th house next to MERCURY in Pisces 5th house What does this mean I met my Gemini soul person which is my chiron and is also conjunct Lilith in 7th Is this karma and wounds OR hubby since 5th house ruled by mercury which rules Gemini Help. No one seems to understand

  • Jupiter husband has a lot to do with Vedic astrology only not western … it has a lot to do with nakshatra’s stemming from 1 – 68 some high number and the one for marriage is determined through the 9th sector along with DK planets and lowest and highest degrees … vedic also doesn’t just speak of Jupiter/Venus as it is deeper than that with the houses and what connects to it makes a major factor … folks really need to stop mixing the two as it is completely different system…. In western yes that’s true but in vedic is completely different scenario.. why because u have a completely different set of rising sun and moon along with a completely different sets of inner planets which is different from ur western sun moon and rising .. also the planets in Vedic are one planet behind then western so therefore u cannot mix the two … what u said is true for western and ur mostly a western system user which is ok however Vedic uses Jupiter and Venus for other reasons and more spiritual based in that matter also more internal which is more about spiritual development than finding a partner in all honestly … ppl kill me when they go off n mix the two as it doesn’t work like that all

  • Capricorn 7H here. Jupiter is in Capricorn tho but 6H (placidus) and also have Mars & Juno in Cap 7H (heard that could be something partner related too right?) Saturn is in my 9H (in Pisces) Tbh wouldn’t be surprised if my future husband has Capricorn placements, noticed I’ve been drawn to men with earth placements, otherwist cancer or scorpio hahaha. Like whenever I watch a movie and think ” Oh he looks attractive ” I look up the chart and it’s like always an earth sign, cancer or scorpio as S/M/V, not always have the birth time. That’s what I’ve noticed hahaha. So every time I look up a chart I’m not surprised the guy is an earth sign.
