  • We sailed from Port Canaveral to Copenhagen via New York City, Halifax, Stavanger, and Oslo in 2015. It was the premier for all of the “Frozen” themed performances. We observed the cast members feverishly rehearsing in various places around the ship multiple times. We’re only “Gold” Castaway Club members, but we’ve spent 67 nights aboard DCL ships because we prefer the longer cruises. The shortest one was a 3-day to Castaway Cay and back – but we did it “back to back” with a 14-day West-bound Panama Canal on the Wonder in 2017. We were the first cruise ship to transit the “new” Panama Canal, and they made a big deal about it. Bob Iger even flew in to give a speech! Looking forward to our 11-day Hawaii to Vancouver trip next March!

  • Thanks for the tour. My (now) husband and I met on the Disney Magic in 2002 we have been back on board two times since. This spring we took a cruise on a competitive cruise line because it had a lot more activities for our older teens. We couldn’t help but continually compare to our Disney cruises and how much we missed some of the extra special elements they provide.

  • Absolutely love your ship tour articles – they were instrumental in helping us to plan for our sailing on the Wish, and we are so excited to see the Magic – hope you guys get to do the Wonder at some point (she is our favorite ship, sister to your favorite ship, the Magic) and here’s hoping we get to see your amazing tours on the Treasure and Destiny! Thank you for all you guys do to help the rest of us see the cruise ships of the world.

  • Thank you so much for this article. The Magic looks gorgeous, I really miss her. We will be on next September for the Norwegian Fjord cruise followed by the transatlantic back to the US. This December we will do a 7 day on the Fantasy. It will have been 27 months since our last cruise. You two have keep me going through this pandemic. Love you!!!

  • Thank you so much Ben and David, have always wanted to do a Disney Cruise, but have put it off because of the number possible kids on board. But am seriously reconsidering booking a cruise in Sept 2022, simply because of your article. You two crack me up and I seriously look forward to your articles. Thanks again.

  • Hi Ben and David. Everything looks yummy. Those round tables with 4 chairs seem small. Area for something quick. Ice cream. Pizza. Prefer square tables like by Pinocchio’s pizza. Love perusal movies on deck. Omg. The slide that goes over the water. The teen and kids areas/clubs look amazing. Appreciate the adults area only. Great Disney is being mindful of non children passengers and parents needing a break. Spa area looks very soothing. Couple massage followed by hot tub. Yesssssss. Love the BB boutique for kids. Love the sports area. You said crew pool. Amazing. I’ve never seen this featured on any article. Do all ships have this? The atrium is amazing. Ha. My husband would love the Marvel room. There was a schedule of which character would be in the theater. Nice. The restaurants and lounges look amazing. Love the beige colors in the tiled floor areas. The carpeted areas have lots of blue/greenish hues reminding me of the sea. Amazing informative article to the jazzy tunes. Thanks so much Ben. But honestly, I missed you and David’s interactions and your one liners Ben about delicious food exploding in your mouth. See you guys next article.

  • Loved this tour and all your vlogs. My husband and I took our first cruise ever on the Magic in 2015. We have been hooked on DCL ever since. We have been on 6 sailings and have our seventh scheduled on the Dream in 2025 in the Mediterranean. That will complete our original four ships. We have also sailed Celebrity. While it was nice, it did not match the DCL experience.

  • Love your vids – you two are adorable! Thanks for the info also – will be sailing on Magic’s sister ship, Disney Wonder in a couple of months! Also, I’m in So. Calif. – to help you out a bit (LOVE your cute accents, lol!) – the theater is pronounced ‘bu-way-na vista’. It’s Spanish for ‘good-view’. If you’re ever in Anaheim, look me up and we’ll see the real Buena Vista Street, Hollywood at Disney’s California Adventure. Would love to tour YOU two there :-)!

  • Anybody else find it amazing that this ship may end up getting scrapped soon? Seeing all of the ships that got beached during covid were all a few years older than this ship. This ship is increadibly outdated when compared to what royal Caribean has. I love this ship but it’s interior is outdated. Has a very early 2000s look to it. I hope it has a long life ahead of it

  • This ship is absolutely horrible, it’s very old and there is very few things to do. It’s very hot inside the cabins everyone I’ve met is complaining. Paid $3000 for three nights, 😢. Royal Caribbean and Princess is definitely the way to go. Total let down for my kids and I. Hope I save people from making the same mistake
