The Death Rite Bird is a challenging boss in Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, found in Charo’s Hidden Grave. It has two phases and many disjointed and delayed attacks. The bird’s main attack is a Spear Swipe, which targets an area targeted at you or your Ashes ally. Approaching from the Church of the Plague, you should find a giant skull overlooking where the bird hangs out.
The bird’s big gimmick is its unnaturally high dmg output and some gatchas (except Caelid’s F that and every mountain it jumps on). Lock-on for the Death Rite Bird is not recommended as it often makes it difficult to dodge and bypasses your block. The recommended level for fighting the Death Rite Bird is the recommended level for the area.
The head of the bird takes more damage than other body parts. The boss can close the distance quickly, and the ghostflames it uses deal a lot of damage, lingering on the ground for a while. The moveset exists to punish greed and panic-rolling, which would be pretty fun if not for the absurd length of the fight and the difficulty of avoiding it.
In conclusion, the Death Rite Bird is a challenging boss in Elden Ring, with two phases and many disjointed and delayed attacks. To defeat it, players should focus on finding resources to craft them, targeting the bird’s head, and learning the best strategies for victory.

What is the best weapon against Death Rite Birds?
The Death Rite Bird is vulnerable to Strike damage, which is a type of physical damage dealt by certain weapons in the game. Hammers, Flails, Shields, Fists, and some Clubs are useful against the boss alongside Holy weapons. The boss resists Pierce damage the most, so avoid using weapons that rely on that category. Many Death Rite Bird attacks use ghostflame, a wide-spreading fire that inflicts Frostbite, a status effect that can quickly destroy a portion of a character’s health.
To avoid Frostbite damage, bring gear or consumables that resist Frostbite. The best strategy against the Bird is to use Torrent to quickly enter and retreat after a few hits, while being close to the boss to prevent its strongest magic. Pay attention to the Bird’s patterns and learn to counter specific moves it makes consistently.
How strong is Talokan?
Namor, a mutant and Talokanil hybrid, possesses unique powers and physiology that set him apart from his fellow Talokanil. His vibranium-infused bodies provide enhanced strength, durability, stamina, agility, and a regenerative healing factor. They also have a telepathic connection to marine life, allowing them to ride whales and carry large objects. Namor’s unique physiology allows him to breathe both underwater and on the surface, and his skin doesn’t change color due to oxygen processing. However, his strength increases as he stays underwater, becoming stronger when underwater.
Namor’s mutant physiology grants him three major abilities: enhanced hearing, an elongated lifespan, and flight. He can hear Ramonda and Shuri’s conversation underwater, with sharper hearing than any human or Talokanil. Namor’s comic-accurate winged ankles and long lifespan, born in 1571, could be an important piece of mutant lore from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which could inform how mutants are introduced to the MCU.

What is the tastiest game bird?
The author compiled a list of the best-eating game birds, including Mallard, Wild Turkey, Specklebelly Goose, Sandhill Crane, Ruffed Grouse, Canvasback, Ring-necked Pheasant, and Sharp-tailed Grouse. They discovered that many seasoned wingshooters had never plucked a duck, which they enjoyed the depth of flavors from its crispy skin and fat. They cooked ducks on a charcoal grill, ensuring the skin was rendered fat and the fat was rendered. The ducks were then sliced thin and against the grain, served with a flavorful ginger-orange sauce.
The author believes that wild ducks and other game birds are underrated when it comes to discussing the best tasting wild game. They have hunted upland game birds and waterfowl across North America and on several other continents, and the eating has always been as important as the harvest. Ducks, geese, grouse, partridge, pheasant, and turkey are all delicious when handled properly in the field and cooked well in the kitchen. The author’s favorite recipes for each species led to a list of the best-eating game birds.
📹 How to Cheese Death Rite Bird in Shadow of the Erdtree (Easy Kill)
Death Rite Bird at Charo’s Hidden Grave is one of the hardest bosses in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree and after dying …
it dose take to much time though, its a cool feeling to beat one of these bosses, great game but Iv had time to play it with boring covid stuff, but I dont know if its to much repetition I just cant use 2 hourse sometime doing the same thing, its better to go jogging or find some other hobby for me, it just takes to much time sometimes, maybe play some music again instead
Dude I shit you not I wish I had it clipped. First time it ever spawned, I ran up on torrent, looked up to see it spawn, and it nose dived right into the ground and its entire red health bar went yellow and it died. I didn’t have to fight it at all. It literally spawned out of nowhere, nosedived, and died.
Did the first 2 objectives (kill 2 small birds) then went atop the gravestone. Unfortunately had to use a bow and arrow to re-aggro the boss coz he wandered too far (btw if he does this, he will do the black flame thing and will hit you while atop). Fortunately with the bow and arrow he went near me and I applied the rotten breath once. At the second application I just hid on the back of the gravestone and got the scarlet rot applied when my mimic tear died at the same time. Once applied I just hid on the rocks near the water (but not too far you might aggro the big flower). Just waited until the damn bird died. Scarlet rot is a real help in most of the bosses.
I sure can’t get it to work. He could totally blast you from down there. Every time I may get one shot in but then he just blast me even at my elevated position. I must be doing something wrong. Edit: seriously I followed the exact path and killed both birds in the order and in the direction he provided. I even made sure to use rotten breath if that made a difference for some weird reason. Get to the exact position fire once he breathes at me knocks me off and then kill me. 😢
