What is the science of Sri Chakra?

The Sri Yantra is a mystical diagram used in Hinduism, representing the totality of the cosmos and Advaita or non-duality. It consists of nine interlocking triangles, each representing a different aspect of divinity. The central point, the bindu, represents the cosmic center, and the triangles form 43 smaller triangles in concentric levels. The bindu symbolizes Shiva, while the downward triangles represent Shakti, encompassing the cosmic and human realms around the central point.

This configuration is sometimes called the “Navayoni Chakra”. The Sri Yantra holds great significance in the Shri Vidya school, symbolizing the union of masculine and feminine divine energies. Each triangle and level is associated with specific aspects of divinity, culminating in a structure known as the nava chakra. The projection of the Sri Yantra into three dimensions results in Mount Meru, symbolizing the philosophy of Kashmir Shaivism.

Sri Yantras can be kept at home following certain rituals. On Fridays, install the Yantra in the North-East direction of your home, cleansing the area with saffron, milk, and water before storing it. The Shree Yantra, related to the goddess Lakshmi, represents riches and fulfills aspirations, bringing success and progress in profession and business. Displaying the Yantra at home removes obstacles and brings wealth. To energize a Yantra at home, follow different steps for different Vastu yantras, such as placing them on Thursday or Friday, and using various materials to clean and energize the Yantra.

The Shri Yantra is a powerful tool for spiritual and material well-being, which can be harnessed through the recitation of specific mantras and affirmations. Mantras like “Om Shreem Hreem Shreem Kamale Kamalaleyi Praseed Praseed” can enhance the Yantra’s vibrational resonance. Proper placement and direction are crucial for maximum benefits, with the Yantra recommended in a clean and sacred space. Regular cleansing and maintenance are essential for maintaining the Yantra’s efficiency, which can be achieved by wiping it gently with a clean cloth and offering sacred substances like sandalwood paste or saffron.

Which God is the Sri Chakra?

Sri Chakra, also known as the Divine Mother, is the supreme body of Shiva and Shakti, compared to a human body. The Uttara Bhag of Lalita Trishati provides a comprehensive explanation of Sri Chakra, which is full of life and energy and should be worshipped with great reverence. The book has three sections: “Journey to Sri Chakra”, which elaborately deals with Sri Nagara, the outer portion of Sri Chakra, and the journey to the innermost triangle.

The journey begins with worshipping various gods, goddesses, sages, and saints, passing through rivers, ponds, forests, and gardens. After traversing through Sri Nagara, we reach the innermost triangle, where we are completely purified. Inside the triangle, we have darshan of Lalitambika, who takes us to Shiva in the Bindu for liberation.

The second section of the book deals with Navavarana Puja, explaining every aspect of mantras using references from Lalita Sahasranama and other sacred Scriptures. This section is a complete guide to perform Navavarana puja, providing mantras, images, explanations, and detailed procedures.

The third and final section is Bhavanopanishad, which means imagination or formation of a concept in the mind. It contains thirty-seven verses (sutras) and detailed interpretations for all sutras. The entire book consists of both Sanskrit and English texts, with an IAST format for those not conversant with Sanskrit. This book can be acclaimed as an encyclopedia of Sri Chakra.

Why did I see it when I do not do any Kundalini yoga or meditation any worship of Devis or Devatas ? I pray without any image or murtis..so why this happened to me? This is why I searched for a article on Shree Yantra and came here hoping to get an answer. Can anyone advise me.

It is not just worshiping standing before God. Take proper Guidance from a learned Pundit. Don’t ever Fiddle with the Yantra with overconfident.
