Winter Orb is a channeling ability that builds and can be used to level up the PoE build for Patch 3.6 and the Synthesis League. It is a channelling skill that charges up an orb, which fires icy projectiles that deal cold damage to enemies. The skill can be used to enchant a +2 Winter Orb Stages for the end game or buy the Blizzard Crown +2 base for a few div before crafting.
Winter Orb is a channelling skill that charges up an orb, which fires icy projectiles that deal cold damage to enemies. It supports spell skills that are not triggered, but can be used to summon a totem that casts the spell for you. Awakened gems can be forgone when there is no currency for them.
The best PoE build for Patch 3.6 and the Synthesis League is based on Winter Orb, which is a channeled spell that fires icy projectiles with very high damage. Players can tap Winter Orb using a twiddle, shatter, detonate, crumble, or disenchant to destroy it, or steal artifacts to use against them.
As long as Winter Orb is untapped, players cannot untap more than one land during their untap steps. Trinisphere Artifacts can be used to cast spells that cost less than three mana to cast. Bounce cards like Unsummon and Boomerang are super-effective once the Winter Orb is in play, and Boomerang allows you to deal with non-creature creatures.
In summary, Winter Orb is a powerful tool for scaling both damage and defenses in the PoE build for Patch 3.6 and the Synthesis League.

Why is Winter Orb good?
Winter Orb is a highly effective mapping skill in the game, doubling the cast speed benefits and increasing damage. However, scaling the skill up to Path of Exile has been a challenge. The Winter Orb Hierophant builds aim to provide a hyper-glass cannon build that can clear superjuicy T16 maps in under 2 minutes, exploding multiple screens of monsters through Heralds, moving decently fast, and being squishy but not squishy enough to die unless you make a mistake.
This build uses gimimicky tech to achieve its desired results, but it is important to read the guide multiple times to understand its mechanics and why it works. Although doable from leaguestart, it may not perform as well if rerolled into it. To lift it off the ground rapidly, a couple of key items are needed. If you’re comfortable leaguestarting slower and farming lower tier content to get Divine Orbs, this is a good starter as it allows you to catch up the curve quickly once it gets going.
In summary, Winter Orb is a highly recommended build for those looking to improve their mapping skills and speed. The Winter Orb Hierophant builds offer a unique and efficient approach to map clearing and squishy abilities.
What level is frozen orb?
At level 30, the sorceress procures the Frozen Orb.
Does divine orb change tiers?
Divine Orbs re-roll the values of explicit modifiers on magic, rare, or unique items, ensuring that only affixes with a range of values are randomized. They do not change the tier of the affix but only re-roll within its current tier. When used on a legacy variant of a unique item, affixes re-roll to the new range of values. If a new modifier is added to a unique item, it will not spawn, and if removed, the affix becomes disabled with a hidden value of zero. A Divine Orb does not change a unique item’s Style Variant.
How does Winter Orb and Urza work?
Urza is a powerful card with “as long as this is untapped” templating, which can be particularly useful when tapping Winter Orb or Static Orb at the end of the turn. This allows you to untap all your lands and keep opponents stuck under the Orb on their turns. Trinisphere can be turned off for your benefit if you have a lot of spells to cast. It also turns off the ability to cast spells for free off of Urza’s Aperture ability, but can be tapped down if you’re going off.
Efficient Construction, Sai, Master Thopterist, and Genesis Chamber are powerful cards that help set up a large board of creatures and mana. Efficient Construction and Sai both spit out thopters and can convert extraneous artifacts into extra cards. Genesis Chamber is riskier but has a significant upside.
Does cast speed affect Winter Orb?
It can be demonstrated that cast speed modifiers are additive with increased projectile frequency, resulting in a total increase of 235 for a 10-stage winter orb with 100 cast speed. An additional 100 projectile frequencies result in a doubling of the projectile firing rate while channeling. This item is awarded as a reward for completion of certain quests.
What is the plus 2 maximum stages Winter Orb?
The first stage does not increase projectile frequency, so 10 stages result in 135 increased projectile frequency. The helmet enchantment adds 30 projectile frequency. All cast speed modifiers are additive with increased projectile frequency, so a 10 stage winter orb with 100 cast speed has 235 total increase projectile frequency. 100 more projectile frequency doubles projectile fire rate while channeling.
What is the celestial winter orb effect?
The Celestial Winter Orb Effect is a skill gem that transforms your Winter Orb into a celestial effect. This effect increases and reduces cast speed and projectile frequency. It requires Level 28 Channel to conjure an orb above you, which pelts nearby enemies with projectiles that impact the ground and explode. Channelling for longer builds up stages on the skill, which decay over a duration. The base duration is 1. 6 seconds, dealing 30-232 to (37-291) cold damage.
The effect has a maximum of 10 stages, fires projectiles every 1. 6 seconds, and has an increased duration per stage and projectile frequency per stage. Place the item into an item socket of the right color to gain this skill, and right-click to remove it from a socket. It can be purchased in the shop for 125 points.
Does tapping Winter Orb work?
All permanents are simultaneously untapped during a player’s untap step. Furthermore, tapping Winter Orb during the untap step will result in the untapping of all lands. In order to utilize the ability of Winter Orb, a player must possess an ability of their own, such as Glare of Subdual, which will then instruct or allow the use of Winter Orb.
What spell is best for cast speed Poe?
Incinerate is the spell that scales best with cast speed, while other spells like Ball Lightning, Firestorm, and Ice Storm also scale well with cast speed. The tree is currently torn between Spark and Storm Call, but it is suggested that cast speed and Spell Echo are useful for non-trigger spell builds to increase dps. Flameblast and Incinerate are the only spells that synergize well with faster casting, but other spells like Flameblast and Incinerate may also work well with faster casting.
How do you win with Urza?
Urza, Lord High Artificer is a four-mana 1/4 legendary human artificer in cEDHDramatic Reversal, a format ruled by multicolored decks. Despite appearing less competitive in cEDH, Urza is one of the only mono-colored commanders that has stood the test of time and proven competitive in the long run. His name evokes nostalgic feelings as he was the main protagonist of MTG’s deep lore. Fans had to wait 20 years for a dedicated Urza Commander with the release of Modern Horizons in 2019, which was a success. Urza’s strengths include his ability to summon infinite magecraft triggers, power artifacts, Grim monoliths, Rings of Brighthearth, Basalt monoliths, and Commander Spellbook.
Does Urza have a spark?
Urza, a human planeswalker from Terisiare on Dominaria, was known for his battles with Yawgmoth and the Phyrexians. He was nicknamed the Destroyer of Dominaria due to the cataclysms caused by his ignition of the Golgothian Sylex. Urza was a brilliant artificer and powerful wizard, with a bearded old man appearance. He devoted centuries to fighting Phyrexia, sometimes using questionable methods. However, his obsessive nature won out over his desire for vengeance.
After his rise as a planeswalker, he replaced his eyes with two powerstones, the Mightstone and the Weakstone. Urza was centered in blue but had access to the five colors of mana. His creations were based on Thran technology and he used the Mana Rig to forge his creations against the Phyrexians.

As a bit more of a casual player. I play commander and my token deck is a 7 😊 I personally dislike decks focused around little to no board presence or killing lands ect ect(frozen orb is an extension of this). The games I find the most enjoyable is when 2 strategy’s are just ok against the other. Every card matters every proc can put you slightly ahead or behind. having massive baked in advantages thru obtuse card effects or haste spam ect, is great for competition where winning is everything, but if you sit down at my table and start pulling cheese like that, I’ll dust off say my mono red damage deck (I assure you it’s not a 7) or simply stop playing. I like competition in it’s truest sense where luck and the skill of the player are the most important factors, not by countering every spell, or forcing me to discard my hand over and over again.
I was one of the first players back in 1992 to make winter orb deck was so much fun .. for me lol. The other players hated it and I quickly became the first player to go out every game after that even when I wasnt playing “that deck”. I was blacklisted and no matter what deck I played everyone at the table killed me first. I literally had to start playing at a different store across town with people who didnt know my decks lol.
