What is the Rite Aid scandal?
The US government has filed a complaint alleging that Rite Aid knowingly dispensed at least hundreds of thousands of unlawful prescriptions for controlled substances from May 2014 to June 2019. These prescriptions included the dangerous “trinity” combination of drugs, excessive quantities of opioids, and prescriptions issued by prescribers identified as suspicious. The government claims that Rite Aid filled these prescriptions despite clear “red flags” that indicated the prescriptions were unlawful.
Rite Aid also allegedly ignored substantial evidence of its stores dispensing unlawful prescriptions and intentionally deleted internal notes about suspicious prescribers. The government alleges that Rite Aid violated the CSA and the Federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) by knowingly dispensing unlawful prescriptions for controlled substances. The complaint names Rite Aid Corporation, Rite Aid Hdqtrs Corp., Rite Aid of Connecticut Inc., Rite Aid of Delaware Inc., Rite Aid of Maryland, Rite Aid of Michigan, Rite Aid of New Hampshire, Rite Aid of New Jersey, Rite Aid of Ohio, Rite Aid of Pennsylvania, and Rite Aid of Virginia as defendants.
The Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (HHS-OIG) is entering into a Corporate Integrity Agreement with Rite Aid, which includes a prescription drug claims review to have an Independent Review Organization determine whether prescription drugs are properly prescribed, dispensed, and billed.

📹 Woman accuses Walmart of ‘racism’ after she’s restrained for throwing food, slapping cop
A woman accused Walmart of racism after lobbing food at a state trooper who then restrained her in a New York suburban outlet …
You know next is the law suit. The security guard should Sue her unless she gets on social media and apologizes to the Walmart store, the people and children she could have severely hurt. And this man . If he suffered injuries she should have the cost garnished from her wages no matter where her wages come from.
This is a bad product of our time: we’ve not only been spoiled into getting things immediately, but we’re also encouraged to badmouth anyone as long as it’s politically correct and towards “deplorables”; and finally, rather than work towards something positive, we’re both encouraged and pressured into and by politically correct insults over methodically empathetic reasoning. This shoplifter is the logical conclusion of all this: she not only physically assaulted an officer (who had every right to stop her for shoplifting) but also tried to avoid responsibility by entitledly calling all of WalMart racist.
Security should watch the cashiers not giving customers their bags on the turnstiles. This happened to me twice, first time it was a bag of double boxed garbage bags with the receipt, I was told security wasn’t available to check the cameras, returned the next day, someone spoke to a person in charge, she approved giving me the item, recently, I asked the cashier,do I have all of my bags,he said yes. Wanted to prepare bacon for breakfast, no bacon or sausage. Looked for my receipt, researched other items I paid for not in my refrigerator two days later. I was approved to shop for missing items. I will double check for all my bags!
Walmart stores have become so uninviting. Staff are not happy, it’s just a temporary job they say. The in store Walmart shoppers (online sales) are rude. No more greeters, they did away with that position. Cameras everywhere. Expired food products on the shelves. Standards have lowered. I wonder what Mr. Walton would think of his stores today. Safeway seems a better choice! 😊
I’ve been a power lifter for a few years now, and I have to say that while I have seen some impressive feat of human strength like deadlifting 900 pounds, squatting 700 pounds, and bench pressing 500, this is by far the most impressive thing I’ve ever seen. This cop literally moved a whale. Think about that for a second.
Ridiculous. That woman seems to have forgotten that she’s not 5-years-old anymore 🧐. There’s nothing more pathetic than an adult throwing a temper tantrum 😒. And, of course she’s going to bring up the race card, 🙄. Well done Officer 👏. That was a lot to handle by yourself. Naturally, no one stepped in to help,😒.
Like the cop went to that checkout line and zeroed in on her!!! Get her for disability fraud!! I guarantee she gets a check every month because she probably claims that she’s disabled and can’t walk, and if she can’t walk is probably due to her being overweight. But she had no problems trying to punch that Cop and his face and throw it down with the Cop and throwing things. It shows she’s not really that disabled.
Back when i was a kid 60 years ago i had a toy that resembled a venison blind blade. It was coated with a cloth material and rolled like a roll of tape. When you unrolled it, it was stiff like a stick. You could hit someone across the ankles and it would wind around them and trip the person and fall . Simple for simple fks like cops.
