All I know is my 1st wife used to know the phone was going to ring and who was making the call, before it rang. Back in 1964, I visited the Edgar Cayce Institute in virginia. I was waay into Edgar Cayce to say the least. It was a most fascinating trip and I never forgot it. Read one story about Gayce – he diagnosed some person’s illness, and prescribed an old medicine even back then in the 20’s called “oil of smoke”. The pharmacy shop he tried to get it from said they didn’t have that in their shop. Gayce sent word to look on the second shelf of the right hand cabinet behind another bottle of medicine, and it was hidden by that bottle. The pharmacist did as Gayce said, and he found the “oil of smoke” bottle.
‘Whether or not?’ Cayce got it right so many times that there is no doubt. He was able to heal fourteen hundred people with only one person not healed, and this failure was due to herb prescribed being replaced with a substitute, I am certain that Cayce was a genuine man of God. My sister and her daughter are super psychics. I worked in my local rescue squad and EMS for years. At that time a man had killed his girlfriend and wouldn’t admit to it or show anyone where her put her body. The local Sheriff had the Rescue Squad looking everywhere for her. In our lakes and rivers mostly. I live in Western North Carolina in the mountains. My sister and niece live in Florida, about 700 miles apart. Sometimes the result of a prediction is delayed. The process may start when predicted but it may take time for the process to complete. I had a dream once I was fishing with my dead grand father. He told me to watch my father that my father would need to go to hospital. I was visiting my Mom and Dad and my Dad had a spell where he collapsed He would not seek medical help I remembered the dream. I insisted he seek help. I live in New Zealand. And I’ve always had dreams of floods and tsunamis that ended with me being perfectly safe and relieved. I had a dream couple weeks ago I was in Adelaide when it happens and the place was totally wrecked but I survived inside a big building that with held against the water. This topic has always scared me but I’ve always noticed NZ landmass is increasing because of our earthquakes. Water keeps receding from our shores. And we’re due for a huge one.

My grandfather was obsessed with Cayce. No matter where he went in life; whether he was in the panhandle of Florida, or the plains and corn fields of Indiana, or his solitary cabin on his lonely mountain in Montana, he always had his sleeping prophet books. Not sure how much there is to it and this article hasn’t swayed me in either direction but out of respect for him I will continue to keep an open mind and consume research until I am swayed by evidence.
Edgar Cayce was always clear that he did not do anything himself, and that he was of use when asleep. A spirit spoke through him. He did have psychic abilities. A favourite story of mine is when he was in a Kansas City restaurant. A bank president struck up a conversation with Edgar, and when Edgar said he did have esp, the man testing him challenged him to guess the code to the bank vault. Edgar rattled it off, and the banker ran to his bank. To me, his readings of the world, the US, UK, Russia, China, France and Italy are very interesting. Having looked into Cayce, his massive body of work & gone to his center multiple times seeing his library of readings it is my belief that he was genuine with what he said while in trance. That said he himself stated his future predictions are not set in stone & the further away from the time of the reading the more various possibilities allowing change exist. He was unquestionably wrong on occasion but was also unquestionably correct far more often than should occur through simple chance.
Back in 1989 I used to help operate a small gym in the army on Oahu, not always busy. One day I was bored and went thru some desk draws (we did that in the army when we were bored) and found a paperback about Edgar Casey. I read the whole thing, very very interesting. It went in depth about people testing him and how he not only helped his friends, but also played funny pranks using his abilities. He did cure people when doctors were at a loss. One time he read a note from someone hundreds of miles away, before it was even mailed and in real time, while she was writing it, and saved a friends relationship. One specific rule for his readings was the person had to give a location and time that they would be exactly. He said he would go into an opened wall-less library surrounded by large Greek style columns and giving a name or key word, would be directed to a row of books. I think he had a blessed gift. The things he seemed to get wrong I think were misinterpretations or from using bad or false information provided.
My father was a big advocate for Edgar Cayce, and he had visions of his own. And he imparted his knowledge and viewpoints on his possible catastrophe or crucible. But I will make one thing clear, my dad was a VERY smart person, and he truly had faith that you could feel when he would discuss the situation as I call it, but other than a few “coincidental” direct hits, I don’t know if it will come to pass. I must mention however that the world map you used for illustration – as I’m sure you know – was created by someone else and does not necessarily represent a thoroughly accurate picture of Cayce’s predictions. I came across the predictions as a teenager while browsing in the library of the College of Psychic Science in London and knew instantly that they would take place in my lifetime. Since that time, climatologists, seismologists and volcanologists – not to mention numerous other psychics – have substantiated and augmented Cayce’s predictions. The subject is of sufficient significance to warrant another article by you and the heckler on Cayce’s geological predictions to include recent supporting evidence from science. For months I lived with Marcos Orbito, the older brother of Alex Orbito – the healer Shirley MacLaine wrote about in one of her books. Marcos was fascinating, as he too, had special abilities, including healing. Marcos shared a story about when he was a very young boy and became very ill, bed-ridden for over a year. So weak he couldn’t even sit up in bed, much less walk. He described how a being “of light”, of pure white light, would enter his room, and would teach him how to read. Daily this being of pure light would come into his bedroom and teach a very young Marcos Orbito to read. When he was healed he wanted to return to school, but was older now, and had missed more than a year of normal attendance. However, there was a contest, if one could read and quote the Bible – the Philippines is a very religious nation. Someone began reading from a Bible, for this contest. And Marcos realized, as he was hearing the words, that he knew all of these words. Had the entire text memorized in his head. The pole shift currently is in full swing and accelerating. The shift causes a decrease in the magnetic feilds and increases exposure of Earth’s surface to solar and cosmic radiation. I’ve never really followed Cayce, but I have followed the science of catastrophism. We can trace several relatively easy to prove cataclysms to within 12k year intervals, that coincide with pole shifts. Cayces visions align real well with everything I’ve come across.
Cayce really wasn’t interested in bring a psychic; he wanted to be a photographer. In fact, he was working as a photographer and had his own studio in Alabama which supporting his family. (Doing psychic readings for free doesn’t get you very far). One day his son, Hugh Lynn, sparked some photography flash powder in his eyes and he was blinded. The doctors could not find any cure or treatment for him and said he’ll be permanently blind in a short period of time. His son asked Cayce to please fix my eyes. I’ve also had what I refer to as brainstorms; brief moments when I’m working on a problem, and for about 30 seconds I have the solution, but I had to write it down quickly because I would forget it after that period. This would happen every few weeks when I was a kid. But it tapered off as I got older, and once past high school, never again. Take that for what you will.
I know Edgar Cayce was probably wrong a lot. But what was his predictive success rate? Even if he was right 75% of the time, that’s much better than what weatherman and financial forecasters can do. I feel like sceptics apply a much harsher standard of success to psychics than they do to other predictive forecasters.
Had about 8 specific events with my partner. (Whom I met when I was hanging my head out my window contemplating suicide. She walked along the road,looked up at me and asked if I was ok. Thank you so much for this content. I’ve delved a bit into some theories around pole shifts and crustal displacements. It’s interesting, because there are many things in the fossil record that indicate the crust has shifted in the past which led to worldwide cataclysms. Things like the mammoths found in the Siberian Islands, found drowned in seas of mud with food still digesting in their stomachs to fossilized coral found in arctic waters when, alive, these coral species are only found in an equatorial climates. Add to that the plethora of myths/legends/histories of great mud floods, and the fact that it’s well known that the crust and mantle are held together by electromagnetic friction, and it definitely becomes a theory worth delving into, especially considering how much of an existential threat it could pose. Were the poles to flip and the electromagnetic field to disappear or weaken, it’s doubtful that the worst thing that would happen is our compasses pointing the wrong direction. Instead, the crust would loosen as the rest of the earth keeps turning. It would be similar to if you spun an orange so fast and then grabbed it and the fruit under the rind kept spinning. Who knows how long this crustal shifting would occur – a second, a minute, a week, years? Most likely it’s short enough in duration that life can still survive, as it has in the past. Even just a second of the crust coming loose would create sky-blocking tsunamis that would wipe out coastlines the world over.
I believe that Cayce had the ability to access something known as the Akashic Records, which is the cosmic spiritual equivalent of a universal library. Having this ability would not make him omniscient or his readings infallible. As for his 1998 prediction, I believe this was going to happen, but spiritual changes for the better we made as a species made it possible for us to avert this civilization-killing catastrophe. There was a book that came out in the eighties called “Mass Dreams Of The Future” in which a random cross-section of people were hypnotized and questioned about what they saw when their spirit-bodies looked into the future. The consensus was that they saw human civilization destroyed by a cataclysm that happened in the middle months of 1998.
I enjoy your approach on these stranger topics. I watched your Project Stargate article and it got me interested to look up more articles. One guy had such a closed mind to it the whole time I thought “why even make a article on this if you’re so closed to the possibility of it being based in some reality?” I mean I’m pretty skeptical but if you can’t 100% prove it’s not true, don’t try to convince me it’s 100% fake. The “Akashic record” is also “The Halls Of Amenti” that Thoth speaks of in the Emerald Tablets. Thoth like Casey when zoned in could access information, but like Thoth states, even he could only get so far each time he would go inward into the Halls Of Amenti. I believe it is also the legendary Library Of Alexandria. Casey was in a zone for awhile and at times, but like all of us he veered out of the zone but genuinely made the best of how far he could access into “The Akashic Record”. Eventually, like an athlete he lost his fine tune. Just thoughts.

As someone who crossed the aisle from adamant logic-based thinking non believer to spiritual mystic, I wholly agree that analytics is the path to unhappiness and unnecessary self criticism. Having traveled and experienced the spiritual community in O’ahu and SoCal, I find many people charging top dollar for their services, and that’s totally up to them, but when I see practitioners charging upwards of $5k-$10k for their course (which may not even be in person), I no longer see the validity in their “mission for humanity”. If they really wanted to help people, then why have such exorbitant pay walls? It makes no sense to me. The weight of the value is disproportionately skewed into money, rather than the benefit of helping others. Many of these methods are surface level gimmicks and don’t truly offer spiritual resolution 🌺🍵🙏

What about those of who were raised as materialist and skeptics and then became “gullible believers”? I have a degree in science, was a militant atheist, and my mind was closed to so many things until about 15 years ago when encounters with other scientists left me doubtful as to their actual critical thinking skills. I didn’t have any particular experience, it just slowly dawned on me that the people i worked with were the most closed minded. From that point on i investigate things from all possible viewpoints and draw my own conclusions (or not- some things just remain mysteries).
Edgar Cayce’s readings were all taken down in shorthand by his secretary and are on file at ARE headquarters Virginia Beach Va. Although barely educated, he could give real medical terms for problems while under. Amazing information, some may come true in the future. The most amazing information to me was how he referred to clients having lived past lives which apparently we all have?
I had a family member who used to website a well-known entity. He was in my family and trustworthy, so I believe him. My mother’s family were healing circle people in Ontario Canada. Every Wednesday afternoon people seeking help were wheeled in and the circle went to work. Edgar Cayce also said that if he ever said anything the contradicted the Bible, he would stop immediately and never do it again. He also read the Bible once for each year of his life. My favorite Cayce story if of the wealthy business man who could get relief from his affliction by the Doctors of the day. Cayce gave him the recipe for a poultice that would cure him, but he had great difficulty finding the ingredients. Cayce then told him he could find the ingredients in a shop in small town outside Paris France. The man went, could find the ingredients and wrote back to Cayce. Cayce then told him nonsense, in the back third shelf behind the books. Pesto, poultice made, man cured.
My mother in the 60s was reading Cacees book she fell asleep reading it and it landed on my fathers chest. When he awoke he said I’ve never dreamed before,he had not only dreamed the book but event not written but things that came to pass. The one I remember the most was who had killed JFK, he claimed it was the government and inside job. The next was We were going to move to Alaska because of a big quake. They did, we did right after,my father felt he should help rebuild it. He did. Cayce is the father of wholistic medicine. That is an amazing accomplishment whether in a trance or not. His sons wrote a book about their father being wrong. One of his sons Edgar Evans Cayce told me personally he couldn’t play cards with his dad because he knew every card before it flipped. So much positive evidence if you look. The US government went to his office / home and “Collected” Many of his books. All of his prophecy’s where written down verbatim in said books. Did the same thing to Tesla. We clicked and spent some time together but because we were both in relationships we didn’t exchange addresses, not even phone numbers, I didn’t even know ‘where’ she lived. We flew home on the same plane and as we separated at the airport I knew it was a mistake. Months later I’m with a friend in a dance hall in a town some forty miles from my home, on a balcony overlooking the stage where a band were playing fronted by a female singer who looked so like my ‘Spanish’ girl I recounted the story to my friend. And no, it wasn’t her, but as I turned it was, …… my Spanish girl was stood behind me. We stood routed, in complete shock, both muttering and stuttering at the same time. The one about the pole shift scenario bothers me, I remember seeing an article or story about how New Zealand was one of the most sought after places for real estate by millionaires and billionaires. Thank you for another great insightful article. When towards the end of your article you said that we need more people willing to help other people, I immediately thought that we need more world leaders that think that way. Instead of being driven by greed or the hunger for power, we need leaders that are willing to join together with other world leaders to seek out cures for the ill, a way to feed the hungry and a way to house the homeless. The nations of the world spend billions if not trillions a year on ways to harm or kill each other. Can you imagine the beneficial impact if that money and effort was instead redirected for the good of mankind? Pretty naive of me to think that might be possible huh? I guess I better keep praying and prepping.
Edgar Cayce when asked said he was reading “The Books” of people in a Grand Spirit library The Akashik records” and always said that because of Free Will, the future was not set in stone and could change. He was accurate 90% of the time though and even created new medical procedures like the nail in your knee if you break your knee, and many others. Even Lyndon B Johnson the President got a reading from him.
Most impressive and convincing story about Cayce was his advice to cure a very sick child that doctors had failed to help. Cayce said to travel to a certain pharmacy, climb up to a certain high shelf, and combine the chemicals found into a medication. The medication did not work. Its failure was reported to Cayce. He reportedly told them to go back and look behind the bottles found for more chemicals. The new medication worked and the young girl was cured. I read this in a book about Cayce and it made me a believer.

Back in the 90’s I read a great deal about Edgar Cayce. He is very interesting person weather you believe his story or not. The Pole Shift stood out to me back then. Then you come to present day where if you believe that the poles shifted then you don’t believe in climate change and then there is a political debate. What a remarkable man!! I had a very dear friend who was truly devoted to Edgar Cayce. She was an Orthodox Jew. I asked her once if Cayce’s religion concerned her. She just waved her hand and said ‘These are minor differences, of no real concern.’ I treasure that point of view. I picture them both having long talks in heaven.
Kind of funny – I am very analytical and live in the world of science but I am also psychic and have strong emotions. I will say there is probably no science that can understand my psychic ability. I’m 54 and my dad read all of Cayce’s books several times. So naturally I read some, no easy feat for a child, but I really tried and dad explained a lot of things to help me along. We are enlightened, immortal souls having a temporary human experience, albiet with amnesia. Of course we cannot access the knowledge in the recesses of the brain before it’s time, because knowledge is power and without the experience and wisdom to harness it and utilize it for the greater good of humanity, rather than selfish gains, it’s as dangerous as a toddler playing with a ticking time bomb. Not to mention the fact that those who try are divenating with demons and offering blood sacrifices in exchange for this forbidden knowledge. In fact, he does forbidden things like ghost writing, hypnosis, mind control and astral projection. I did those things as a child, I learned them from my dad, a pit smoking biologist searching for the meaning of life. Being that I was around six or so, they came naturally, children believe anything can happen, and it often does, until someone tells them it’s not possible. So I did those things effortlessly, but I always came upon demonic entities in disguise, who were tempting me relentlessly. I always politely declined until I was promoted, nay scolded, then instructed, in no uncertain terms, to stop tripping the life fantastic this instant!

It’s important to understand that people like Edgar Casey website various entities. Some are good–and have a vested interest in helping us. Some just like to play tricks. Also even if predictions are accurate, if you understand the nature of our universe and reality, you’ll understand that timelines can change. So much so, that either a predicted event doesn’t take place, or it can be delayed by years or even decades. That is why some famous predictions can be off.
I’m a believer, my husband a skeptic. We both have interesting views. I’ve learned not to be so gullible and he’s learned not to dis everything. Casey was right enough times to actually help some people. That’s good enough for me. As for the end of the world, what’s going on now is horrific. If it keeps going like this, what else can we call it? If the shift actually happens, those who survive will either be on their own or under the rule of some despot.
Cayce’s predictions about the stock market crash, Great Depression, Hitler and WWII were hardly a stretch. One could simply read the news in the months and even years leading up to those events that they would come to pass. Most people knew Hitler was going to lead Germany, and that war was imminent, for instance. That said, an in-depth look at all of his readings and level of accuracy indicate he did indeed have some kind of psychic or metaphysical gift.
I had a dream of Edgar Cayce before I even knew who he was. His name was said in my dream when I was introduced to him. In my dream he was teaching me how to make a pizza and telling me what I should put in it! When I woke up I googled his name not expecting it to be an actual person! So now I make the pizza often, but I’m not sure what it’s helping me with, I trust the process.
I read somewhere that Cayce was never able to successfully used his spiritUAl psychic ability for gambling or for financial gain. Perhaps the questions that Cayce was unable to answer is because whatever power that enabled him to have his gift of predicting and knowing didn’t want the answer to the question that he was asked revealed.

I had a vision during deep meditation of something similar. The frequency of the earth changed like changing the frequency in cymatics. The land started to shift to this new frequency causing floods and volcanoes to erupt. The govt was trying to get everyone underground into tunnels they had built. Many lives were lost but once the earth stabalized it was was worldwide harmony and love.
I get visions all the time they just aren’t clear to me when I get them.I even have birds trying to talk to me constantly it scares the shit out of me. One of the most vivid ones was when I dreamt I was at my grandmothers house everyone was there even people I haven’t seen in a long time. I walked around and saw everyone but my grandma then I went in the back room of her house and there were steps leading up to a casket so I walked up the steps and when I looked in the casket I woke up. That next night my grandma had a massive stroke and died a few days later. Also had panic attacks and absolutely no sleep this one time I just had left an amusement park so I chalked it up to the after effects of all the thrill rides. But at the same time I couldn’t get rid of this feeling that something catastrophic is going to happen. On third day it was unbearable my whole world was spinning I couldn’t breathe I was absolutely exhausted and felt I’ll and just want to cry so I took some melatonin to go to sleep finally that next morning I’m awoken at 5 am to the news that my brother was killed in a car accident by a drunk driver. This is a gift I didn’t ask for and hate having
I think the universe sometimes creates different brains that uses data differently.
