Tesla has launched the Magic Dock charger in various zones of Canada and the United States, including 11 locations across the US. The Magic Dock is a CCS adapter that allows non-Tesla EVs to use the Supercharger network in Canada. The first Magic Docks were added to a Supercharger station in Verona, New York, and are now available in 10 locations in California and New York.
The company has also expanded its network of Superchargers to include “Magic Dock” units, which have universal connections. The first of these units have been spotted in upstate New York. The Tesla app currently has only three charging stations on the West Coast: Eastern Oregon, Placerville, CA, and Santa Cruz, CA.
Superchargers are located on major routes near convenient amenities, keeping users charged when they’re away from home. Some of these locations are at very needed locations, such as Lake Topaz, NV and Incline Village, NV. All EVs Superchargers are available for all EVs to charge with a “Magic Dock” adapter provided at the charging post. NACS Superchargers are also available for all EVs to charge with a “Magic Dock” adapter provided at the charging post.
In Kremmling, CO, parking was a little awkward due to the superchargers being arranged with a “Magic Dock” connector. The Tesla app provides an interactive Find Us map to locate Tesla charging stations, service centers, galleries, and stores on the go.
