Astrocartography is a branch of astrology that uses the angular houses and planetary aspects of an individual’s birth chart to identify the best places to live based on their unique astrological makeup. It involves mapping your birth chart to identify the best places to live based on these energies. The sun sign, rising sign, and moon sign are three essential components of an individual’s birth chart that are particularly relevant when determining the best places to live.
Astrocartography can help individuals determine the best places to live based on their unique astrological makeup, such as the 4th house/imum coeli (IC) sector, which relates to home and family, and the 7th house/descendant (DC) sector, which focuses on intimate relationships and partnerships. By understanding the methods, meanings, and examples of astrocartography, individuals can find the best place to live according to their astrological chart.
The ideal location to live based on astrology depends on individual preferences and goals. Astromapping is a tool that uses the energy from your astrology chart and the world at large to find an ideal city, region, or country that highlights the most significant aspects of your life.
Relocation astrology can also be used to guide individuals in finding the best places to move, whether it’s from Europe to DC or Manhattan’s East. Astrocartography can help individuals discover the best places in the world, where they are most supported to make changes, and when they’re most supported to make those changes.
In conclusion, astrological birth charts play a crucial role in helping individuals make informed decisions about their lives and the best places to live.

What is the ideal place to live?
The text provides a description of a neighborhood in Colonial Village, Carmel Town, Chesterbrook Suburb of Philadelphia, PA, and Uptown Tampa, FL.
How to figure out where to live based on astrology?
Astrology can help find your ideal place to live by analyzing your exact date, time, and place of birth. Astro maps, similar to birth charts, consider the entire globe and show your planetary influences. By pulling an Astro map, you can learn about yourself and your relationship with special cities and places in the world. This information can help you discover new places to visit or relocate to.
The planetary lines in a chart hold significant meaning, and if you live in a place with planetary influence on one of the four angles, it can be considered the best place to live. The Sun line indicates a positive environment, with strong energy of “I am” and potential for personal growth and creativity. Places on this line can lead to personal growth and personal growth.
What line in astrocartography is where you should live?
The Moon line in your birth chart is a crucial aspect of your life, as it determines where you feel most comfortable and at home. If your Moon line runs through a location, you can expect to feel like you belong there and are cared for there. Astrocartography, or the astrology of locations, can provide insight into your life and personality. As someone who splits their time between the west and east coasts of the U. S., I sought to understand if my astrocartography chart could tell me which side of the continent I should live on.
During the pandemic, I found myself in a toxic relationship in New York City, and I fantasized about moving far away to Los Angeles. Now, I am convinced that my persona on the west coast is different from the intense and determined girl-boss persona I embody when back in New York. If you feel like you become a whole new person when traveling to a different geographical location, you might want to look into your astrocartography chart.
How do you figure out where you should live?
When choosing a house location, consider your housing budget, cost of living, local real estate market, job opportunities, big city vs. outdoor offerings, and other factors. Your monthly mortgage or rent amount should be the first consideration. Factors such as the cost of living, local real estate market, job opportunities, big city vs. outdoor offerings, and job opportunities should also be taken into account. By performing basic calculations with different budget amounts, you can estimate your monthly income and determine what you can and cannot afford.
Which house system is most accurate in astrology?
The equal house system divides the ecliptic into twelve 30 degree divisions, with houses measured in 30 degree increments starting from the degree of the ascendant. This system is more accurate and less distorting in higher latitudes, especially above 60 degrees, than the Placidean and other quadrant house systems. The definition of houses involves the division of the sphere into twelve equal lunes perpendicular to a fundamental plane, with the Morinus and Regiomontanus systems being notable exceptions.
Houses are measured out in 30 degree increments starting from the longitude of the midheaven, which acts as the starting point of the 10th house. The ascendant does not coincide with the cusp for the 1st house.
What is the strongest house in astrology?
The angular houses in the chart are the most powerful, while succedent houses, less powerful but more powerful than the cadent houses, have a quality similar to the angular houses. The second house, which succeeds the first house of the body and personality, signifies the things that belong to the person, while the eighth house, following the seventh house of the partner or spouse, represents the belongings of the other person. Succedent houses have a stable, unchanging, fixed quality, deriving from their central position in each quadrant of the chart.
While some houses have malefic or weak connotations, they are productive houses where matters normally take root and flourish, such as possessions or children. The second house signifies the possessions of the person or event for which the chart was cast, and this meaning has persisted unchanged for several thousand years. Modern astrologers may perceive a correspondence between the second house and the sign Taurus, but traditional astrologers did not. Hellenistic astrologers considered the second house the “Gate of Hades”, leading to the houses beneath the horizon of the chart.
Is astrocartography real?
Astrocartography, or astrogeography, is a discipline of astrology that helps individuals identify the best places to live or visit based on their birth chart. This method, developed by astrologer Jim Lewis in the 1970s, analyzes why we are drawn to specific spots on a soulful level and studies the potent parts of our birth charts that draw us to these regions. Astrocartography can help individuals find the places that make them feel the most alive and can be challenging for novice astrologers to understand.
Which house is rich in astrology?
The Parasari School of Hindu astrology identifies the 2nd house or bhava, which is associated with earning and accumulation of wealth, and the 5th and 9th bhavas, which are the abodes of Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth. The inter-relationship between these wealth-giving bhavas and their respective lords ensures wealth and prosperity. Planets simultaneously owning two wealth-giving bhavas become prime indicators of wealth, with the strongest indicator being the one that owns both the 2nd and 11th bhavas. Dhana yogas depend on the lord of the 2nd who determines wealth, with income being judged from the 11th, gains through speculation from the 5th, and sudden unexpected gains from the 9th bhava.
Hindu astrology considers the 2nd house as the house of accumulated wealth and the 11th as the house of gains. Dhana yogas arise when the lords of the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 9th, and 11th bhavas mutually associate, but only when they connect with the lagna can more significant results be seen. Parashara has paid extraordinary attention to the 5th and 9th bhavas in Dhana yoga formations, such as Venus in the 5th in own house and Mars in the lagna, Mercury in the 5th in own house and the Moon, Mars and Jupiter in the 11th, The Sun in the 5th in Leo and the Moon, Jupiter and Saturn in the 11th, Jupiter in the 5th in own sign and Mercury situated in the 11th, Mars in the 5th in own sign and Venus in the 11th, and Moon in the 5th in own house and Saturn in the 11th.
How do I find my astrological house?
Birth charts are read counterclockwise, starting with the Ascendant’s horizontal line delineating the First House. The Houses are then followed, starting at the Descendent on the right side of the horizon line. The Sixth House represents health, wellness, and daily routines, with choices made over a lifetime affecting health. Those with natal planets in this house are often fueled by organization and structure, focusing on time and calendar management. Planets transiting the Sixth House help form habits and redefine schedules. This House corresponds with Virgo energy.
The Seventh House, located across from the First House Ascendant, represents life-changing partnerships. This House introduces the concept of perspective, focusing on romantic partners and other important relationships in life. Those with natal planets in the Seventh House are focused on relationships, gravitating towards partnership in all areas of life. Planets transiting the Seventh House help close deals and secure bonds. This House corresponds with Libra energy.
How do I decide where to live in the world?
Choosing where to live can be a challenging decision, but it can be achieved by assessing personal needs, preferences, and legal requirements. Factors such as budget, cost of living, climate, culture, language, family needs, schools, healthcare, and amenities should be considered. Utilizing online resources, community forums, and engaging with expats and local contacts can help in making informed decisions.
Relocating to a new location requires thorough research, including assessing personal needs, legal requirements, and logistics, healthcare, and housing. Reputable moving companies with international experience can provide essential support. It is essential to prepare your family, understand cultural nuances, and be patient during the adjustment process. Careful planning and the right resources can lead to a smooth and exciting journey to a new home.

📹 Astrocartography: The Astrology of Travel and Where to Live
A discussion about astrocartography, which is the astrology of travel and relocation, and can be used to find the best places to live …
Hey there! I’ve been living on my Mercury IC line for the last 8 months and thought I’d share some insights on the experience so far, along with an example relocated chart interpretation! Happy travels! 🦋🗺 What line are you living on and what sign / aspects are being made to that planet in your chart? JOIN MY RELOCATION ASTROLOGY COURSE HERE: helenawoods.com/relocation-astrology
Your voice and tone sound soooo much more grounded and integrated from your previous articles! I was perusal an older article of you with really short hair and then clicked on this one and turned away from the computer for a second… I heard your voice and thought you were a completely different person! The growth and integration you’ve had in your life are palpable <3 xo
I have become obsessed with learning more about astrocartography…imagine if this knowledge and awareness was an integral part of our childhood and parenting practices. It feels so acknowledging of our soul, such a kindness, and respectful. My question and perhaps concern is I have also learned about sidereal astrology, and that ancient original astrology is 13 sign, how might this possibility affect the accuracy of our readings? Hoping to open knowledgable, curious, and kind discourse regarding this🤔
I traveled to my Chiron main energy point. I was supposed to stay for a month and I reduced it to a week. It’s been absolutely awful and so much trauma has come up. Literally haunted by events from my childhood. It’s intense and I feel like crying a lot and frankly I can’t wait to leave this country. I will be avoiding any place along this line in the future. 😅
I live under my Mercury/MC Line and under Mars sextile MC aspect! Here is where I studied, I keep learning stuff, I connect with people and I launched my first business as a translator and foreign language teacher! And I keep learning stuff!!! But Saturn is in my 4th house in the Natal chart, as well as Chiron in the 10th house.
Wow! I am so excited to have discovered you today! Definitely signing up for your course you totally resonate with me! So many exciting possibilities here for shining light for people to live their best version of themselves. Speaking of… you talk about your Saturn square mercury as a bit of a bummer. But I love Saturn! Saturn in rulership in my 9th. I am great at responsibility, structure, organisation and leadership. I see Saturn here for you as the great teacher and being a teacher 😁 No coincidence that you have just created your first course! It also helps ground your big mercury in rulership …. Which lets be honest needs a bit of slowing down at times! Thank you for your wonderful work. 🙏
Super excited for your course (I signed up to learn more)! My natal chart has Mercury in Gemini in the 4th house. And, I am actually preparing to relocate close to my Mercury IC line in a few months (with no other lines within 600mi). In my relocation chart (for the area I want to move to), I have Mercury in Gemini in the 3rd house. I am a writer (self-published my first book in early 2023), a teacher/coach (through online courses/membership), and I am ready to grow my business online. I so resonate with this article. I am somewhat new to the world of Astrocartography, but I am completely drawn to it on a deep soul level. The more I learn about my Mercury IC line, the more is sounds like an incredible line for this next phase of my life. This article is such a confirmation for me. Thank you! ♥
No it’s hilarious bc even the way you are expressing yourself is HIGHLY mercurial 😂❤ if you told me you were a Virgo sun in this article id believe you 😂 whereas when you were living on your venus line, you spoke to us almost in a romantic and dreamy ( ♎️ ♓️) way and it was lovely 🫖, so much gratitude to you for sharing!!
Hi Helena, looking forward to hearing more about your Astrocartography course. I see that you are originally from my Venus IC Line there in California, hopefully that is a good omen lol!!!! I lived pretty much all of my life on my Pluto DC Line in Louisiana and it has been a trip to say the least lol!!!!
this is the course i have been waiting for i am so excited. I have taken one other astrocartography course so far but it was a bit surface level for me – if your content is anything to go on, i know it will go so much deeper… I have been living for the last 8 years on my wait for it…Saturn, Pluto and Chiron lines (yes i know!) My MC is in the 9th house so to say that i have been salivating for a way to integrate travel and astrology into my professional life is an understatement, its kind of been a recent epiphany that this is what i am here for and meant to do. May 20th won’t come soon enough!
I lived by a Mercury MC line for a few years and struggled with jobs and even getting back into college. I’m sure there was other aspects and things going on in my chart, I have Mercury in my 11th H of Virgo with my Moon. Sun in the 10th and Venus in the 10th. Mars & Jupiter in my 1st of Scorpio. My first Saturn return might have been when we were in a foreign country but I am not for sure since I was not following astrology then, (I looked into it briefly in my late teens to early 20s but it was confusing me)
Hi Helena, thank you for making this article’s! 🙌🤗one question. When you use relocation chart do you use whole signs system or placidus system? Because as you know in Placidus houses cusp is moving.. For example in place where I live for years now, 4th house starts in Cancer even though my ascendant is Taurus.
Hi Helena, I have been living on my Mercury IC line for 30 years and it’s conjunct Saturn! It was hard in the beginning but over the years I’ve made friends with my Saturn and things have improved a lot. Do you consider secondary progressed charts as well? In my progressed chart, my Mars changed signs from Libra to Scorpio recently. Definitely feel more strong-willed.
I’m on my saturn mc line and I feel like it’s killing me. I have chiron in 4th here tho. I don’t understand why I have to endure this pain. I’ve tasted other locations and I want to move. I don’t know how to do it with such little luck. Maybe if I wait a bit. Jupiter is transiting my nn, with nodal return.
Are you referring to astrological signs using tropical Astrology, Sidereal (Fagan/Bradley) or where I guess Astronomically the Solar System Planets are really aligned to with the thirteen sign unequal system. There is of course a massive difference in all of these (which is why I regard any concept of a Planet enjoying house rulership as profoundly suspect at best.)
I don’t know… by coincidences out of my control I wound up on my venus line. My venus is in libra. My new locational chart says my fourth house is now in mercury in libra and I’m genuinely the most unhappy I have ever been. I hate it here. I hate our home. I hate the ugly neighborhood. The town is boring and no good food or cultural scene. I’ve become a reclusive hermit, unexcited to meet each day so I fight to stay in bed and indulge in my dream states. It’s been awful.
This was so MAGICAL!! ✨ A dream come true to talk to you Chris! On my absolute favorite podcast. Wow! What a treat 🤗 Thank you so much for having me on. It was so fun getting to hear about your experiences on those different lines! If anyone wants to follow along on the astro traveling adventure you can find me here documenting the insights on Youtube!
I was born and grew up near my Uranus IC line, and even though I loved the place, I never felt like I belonged. About 6 years ago I moved all the way across the country for school and was very quickly struck by how at home and at peace I felt, so I ended up staying. It was only years later that I learned that I had moved near my Sun, Venus and Mercury IC lines. 🙂
I lived on my Saturn AC line for 13 years, and could feel the energy dissipate every time I drove away. The constriction in my body would physically ease. While I was living there, every muscle in my body seized up and I developed severe chronic illnesses. Anxiety at an all time high. TONS of social drama where I was continually scapegoated and misunderstood. But it taught me a LOT about my spiritual purpose and helped me mature in ways I never could have otherwise! Im now looking to move to one of my other lines and was actually hoping to book a reading with Helena! glad to hear her on the podcast.
For the last 18 years, my husband and I have lived in Minneapolis due to work. Relocation brings my Mars/Chiron conjunction in Aquarius to an exact conjunction with the IC at 29 degrees and shifts Neptune to the first. Neptune squares Mars/ Chiron natally. In the time that we have lived here, we’ve lost all 4 of our parents, two of whom we physically cared for and lost our youngest son when he was shot because of a shady business deal gone wrong. It’s been the hardest two decades of our lives.
After seeing this podcast episode, I booked a session with Helena. Wow! What a great reading.! I got so many good ideas. She even identified places I had been “zillowing”. I definitely think location matters. We actually feel different in some places (or maybe just feel like a better or more comfortable version of ourselves.) I can’t wait to explore the places she identified. Thank you Chris and Helena …… two great astrologers.
Amazing talk! Also regarding Kim Kardashian being robbed in Paris on her Uranus line. Uranus is also social media and it’s because she posted lots of pictures of her diamond jewellery that she was robbed in Paris – they saw it online and planned to take it! Mars is also ruling her 12th in her relocated chart, house of hidden enemies, and it’s in the 8th. The diamonds were a gift from her husband.
Such a fascinating topic! I moved to Big Island Hawaii 7 years ago and it is literally bordered for me by Jupiter DC & Saturn AC lines and the tension is REAL. Lots of expansion spiritually, learning, growing AND isolating, hard work & totally restructured my life over the last 7 years. My husband has 4 lines that circle the islands & we both have parans that run through here. To say we were magnetized here is an understatement! Can’t wait to dive deeper
I was aware of this when I was younger thanks to astrodientist, and noticed that I had a strong Saturn line going down through the NYC metro area (my place of origin where I’ve spent many of my years, even now), and a strong Venus line going down through Peru; in Peru I made way more friends more easily than ever, and had opportunities thrown at me left and right by my loving and growing network, great progress in Dieta with the Curandero, made friends with Qero Shamans in Cusco, etc etc (granted this 7 month long trip was during a 1st House Profection year…). Then I came back home, and problems problems problems…starting with stopping a friend from strangling the mother of his child, more than once, on the morning of Christmas Eve…followed by a near death experience thanks to exposure to Black Mold…yay Saturn
Such a brilliant conversation! This was so fascinating, and you guys have a great rapport. The anecdotes were invaluable too for illustrating astrocartography in highly relatable & archetypal ways. Helena is a total gem – I love her work, her energy, and her passion for astrology (I’ve been following her website for a while now). So, I was thrilled to see this episode posted. Such rich material – thankyou!
It was a great pleasure to watch this episode, love how enthusiastic Helena is about Astrocartography and locational astrology and always fun to hear examples especially analyzed with a few methods. Lots of great points mentioned! So glad that hopefully now more people will realize that it is an amazing tool yet requires a lot of knowledge and experience, as well as caution. I’ve been learning and practicing locational astrology for a few years and can’t stop being amazed how many shades & tints various positions can represent, how many events signify. If would be interesting to hear a separate episode about local space lines and cyclocartography as well as examples of concrete travels/home places of couples & families how different places felt to them. Thank you guys!! ❤
Thank you for this episode, A*C*G is my absolute favorite topic! I loved to hear your personal stories, thanks for sharing! So strange to see Luxembourg being mentioned. I moved there 10 years ago which turned out to be at the crossing of my Mars-ASC (Capricorn) and Jupiter-MC line (Scorpio)! For me living on the Mars-ASC line is a good experience as it brings my “invisible” natal Capricorn Mars (in the 12th house without aspects, only planet in Earth) out to the open. Thankfully, it has a strong grounding effect on my heavily Air-Fire dominant chart and character.😉 The Jupiter-MC line offered a lot of professional opportunities and a significant step-up in my (corporate) career. I love the place!!! 😍
YES! The episode I didn’t know I was waiting for. Haven’t listened yet but giving it a BIG thumbs up! 👍 Just finished listening to this episode! I have to say this was one of my favourites. Helena is a delight to listen to and I loved the questions from Chris. Many times I had to pause and look at my astrocartography chart. I have lived in 4 different countries, different cities/towns/villages and also travelled all over the world. I had an intuitive reading with a woman the other week and she said Edinburgh was calling, that it is a place for me to start my creative business and everything I’m dreaming of can manifest there, that I would meet someone there. I even had a dream about what she was saying a few months before the reading. I had to look at my lines for Edinburgh and was very surprised at what I read! Not entirely sure what these lines mean but I shall look at my own chart and transits: The following Power line is close to this point: Moon’s Node/MC Line 237 km The following points are located at the same geographical latitude and have therefore an influence: Crossing Mercury/Mars / Crossing Neptune/Pluto / Crossing Mercury/Neptune / Crossing Jupiter/Saturn / Crossing Moon/Venus /
Oddest coincidence for me this year is this article. I have watched Helena for several years on Youtube (since she moved to France and did her series of Slow Living). I also watch astrology articles and this article just auto-played for me; I didn’t select it. I glanced over and thought “Huh, she looks like the girl from the Slow Living website”. I had noted that they had moved around a bit, but knowing what part of the impetus was is fascinating! I learned so much from this article. Thank you!
This was SO interesting! What a wonderful guest – thank you so much for bringing her on! I learned so much- now I need to do a deep dive! Opened up astrology in a way I never considered before – Thank you Chris! You have the Best guests and the best astrology website out there! 🙏🏻🌎💕 thank you, thank you!
this was a great episode, i normally listen but thanks for the prompt to watch, the visuals really helped. i appreciated everything you discussed, especially the point that moving will not magically erase the fundamental truths of your birth chart, and also the importance of transits, location isn’t a magic bullet but yet another tool to consider. astrology is so complex and this episode definitely brought forth even more layers to try and understand, but you both did a great job of explaining things. 👏
I am just perusal this now and kind of following along with my own chart lines and I noticed that I passed through my Mars/MC line while traveling a few years ago and got major heat stroke!! And my Moon/AC line goes right through my dad’s homeland in New Zealand 💕 definitely feel very comforted and at home there
Oh my goodness your website is so awesome. Slowly over time, every episode released is unraveling answers to the questions I’ve had for years but have put to the wayside to go deeper with what’s more readily available, which is different than the questions I’ve had. Thank you for finding people who have a focus on these topics and can give in depth information. You cannot find this info anywhere else in the way you are doing it.
Thanks for this episode, in my case, I moved to Montreal almost 14 years ago, when I learned about this technique I found out that my Venus falls in my ascendant and since I moved I felt really good in here, I also have been developping my selfsteem through different kind of experiences that I’ve been living (my natal Venus is in square to Saturn) I got much more and in depth info about this type of astrology 😊😊 I loved it. And I’m following Helena now 😊
Wow this is so awesome – it is a whole new world for me ! I was born and live in South Africa, about 250km south of the Tropic of Capricorn (Capricorn rising with Sun and Saturn in Aquarius). At a glance – and if I understand it correctly – it seems that a good place for me to live out my rebellious nature would Ghana, or Mali to get in touch with with my deeper Plutonian subconscious… I have only 4 points on continents and the rest on islands. The place where I should reach the pinnacle of spiritual growth is on the island of Tonga. This is facinating.
CHRIS : thanks a bunch for this 🙂 – I now have a half hour until the November forecast, but – I just couldnt believe this episode… Here?s this brilliant young woman (AND YOU !!) and she moved to Strasbourg (where half my family lives) AND is now in Tallin (number 3 on my “next visits”-list) and I´ve been following Moses Siregar for more than 20 years now.. and tried the “traveling on your birthday”- thing for more than 2 years . I DO NOT recommend for folks over 65 ;D .. I´m so glad I found you !
I’m a fan of A*C*G. The Uranus is in the 3rd house of my natal chart. However, I relocate to Singapore where the Uranus coincides with the IC on the relocation chart which results in moving house 3 times in 4 years. While living in the current place, I constantly encounter electrical and wifi internet router issues 😂. All in all, this is how Uranus affects me day to day now. Thanks for sharing this interesting episode. ❤
In 2020 i moved because my intuition was pulling me to the pnw i didnt know where but I just knew I couldn’t deny it ended up getting into astrology deeply while there and found I was on my pluto chiron line I had also met a women who told me I was a healer and she mentored me with reiki in exchange for working at her shop it was magical and painful all at the same time did so much healing and I truely feel I went there to let the old me die as I healed deep wounds… omg edited to add as im listeing to more you guys mention meeting people with that planet on their ac so i went and checked her chart she has pluto conjunct her rising 😂
Thank you for this. I feel a need to dive deeper as I have been desiring to move since my kids have grown and are established in their lives. No lines are near my birthplace and where I’ve lived my entire life in the Pacific Northwest. The only line of any significance to my chart is my Venus MC which crosses very near Bali where I spent my 2nd Saturn return (in 9th, in Aquarius) and committed to my spiritual journey! Natal Venus return at end of Libra Season. I want to live somewhere I LOVE, can express LOVE and feel LOVED in return. (Definitely felt that in Bali as I embraced Hinduism and the beautiful Balinese people)
Thank you both for this. Appreciate how deep Helena has gone into this because most of my lines seem to be in the oceans or really far away and remote! 🤦🏾♂️😅 Cyclocartography makes sense if you think about it… The right/wrong person, the time and the place all being intricate factors/catalysts in major events, and their outcomes. Love how you made the Disneyland/Mercury/California and Disneyworld/Neptune/Florida connections Chris, literally watched an another astrologer talk about him (and his brother Roy) quite recently too. The doors this opens if you can utilise it well must be amazing! I’m very aware just from perusal transits how I and others appear to me via transits too!
Thank you Chris and Helena, a truly fascinating conversation with engaging explanations and chart examples. I was called to look at the cartography of birthchart and moves since. Particularly of interest were two favourite holiday destinations, Byron Bay and Fraser Island in Australia where I felt truly at home, especially when I went alone, I would meet people etc., I have Venus ic line there! I also had a truly mystical deja vu holiday in Ubud, Bali, so so good, where I have a sun/ic line. I also checked my current home of 10 yrs with nth node connection! I’m so grateful to you both for assisting all of us to gain self knowledge about past and events and for future planning. I also like both your optimism and caution…..there are always going to be opportunities and challenges! 💜💜
Great episode chock full of awesome info and enthusiasm- really enjoyed the refreshing juxtaposition of energies! Would love to hear Helena’s delineations of planets on the different angles in the follow up Curious if @mshelenawoods uses a windows tablet for Solar Fire, if so which one? Hopefully #AstroGold sees this and adds parans to their program annnd makes it available for iPads 🙂 Appreciate yall!
Thank You, very interesting. First time to check out this, and I was born nearly exactly on Neptune/ Ic line, lived first 19 years 40km east from it before moving abot 100km from Saturn/Asc and living there about 20 years. Then I felt the energy of that region was done, and now live 90km west from N/Ic with Pluto Ic/node Asc & Mars Asc/ node mc, and mercury, venus& jupiter stuff going on and Im waymore satisfied and easy going. That Saturn era was internally hard, but it layed grounds for this self reliance and satisfaction. Great technique. Also probably have activated loads of stuff by having global correspondance from young age.
I’ve lived in an area for 23 years that puts my Saturn right on the ascendant. I am someone who has never reacted that badly to Saturn, it is in Capricorn in the 8th house and then Jupiter is in the Saturn ruled 9th house in Aquarius, so that may be part of it, getting a positivity boost from Jupiter’s stromg connection to Saturn. I always was very deprived of a love life early in life, I never had a girlfriend ever though I wanted one. But in this place I got very happily married to a very Saturnian lady, her Saturn is conjunct the Moon in Capricorn in her 6th house. Its a very stable and peaceful marriage we will never break up also Saturn positive side stuff. We are both going through our Saturn Mahadasha from Vedic astrology as well and actually these positions for planets I give you are Vedic/Jyotish positions. I think western astrology is offbase as far as the signs go, my Vedic planetary positions and angles describe me to a tee, I always was really puzzled by much Western aspect of my chart, has me as Cancer rising, there is no way, I am Gemini rising to a tee puttting my Taurus moon in the twelfth house which is very much me, very connected to unconcious and dreams and rather isolated, not 11th house moon, all about clubs and groups and socities, cannot stand that stuff!
I currently live on my Saturn DC line and boy oh boy does it suck! There is a major block in relationships for me. Even friendships are hard to acquire and maintain here. On the flipside, my NN ASC, Venus ASC, Moon IC, Chiron MC and Uranus IC lines all run through India. Clearly I have karma and a soul mission related to that country.
Interestingly Adolf Hitler and Lenin had their mercury descendant lines going through Munich and St Petersburg respectively where they founded their political movements. Multiple celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Jimmy Page etc rose to fame on their Jupiter MC lines. Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Harry have their Saturn MC lines going through the U.K.
I actually moved close to my Saturn line for my Saturn return and it was rough, but it was a master class in adulting. I loved hearing about paranas – puts my Jupiter DC line into perspective. I’ve been planning a trip to Kyoto to experience this line firsthand (it goes straight through Osaka and Kyoto) but the parans there are sth to consider before I plan anything.
I was born by my Neptune line which is my 4th house. The astro location humor, I could make a long list. 2 favorite songs are Lowlife by Front Line Assembly and Ænima from Tool. Los Angeles is directly on my 12th Leo sun line. I always laugh when I see that. I also canceled a potential vacation that’s on my Pluto line due to it being near a war that just started. “I’ll visit, but I’m not going East..” definitely not going to now. I’ve never tried a complete “relocation”, sounds interesting.
I feel like it’s so tricky especially as a parent I look at mine my husband and my children . This one place I really like it’s good for every but my oldest son putting him with Saturn on the IC ( although he has Jupiter natal on the IC and Saturn is not the greater malefic I still don’t want to have him be unhappy in anyway 😢. I heard that’s if it’s not directly on the angle that it’s less impactful . Any thoughts on this ?
Did you talked about living or doing holidays in the middle of all lines, where they sprung out? Mine is on the venus-jupiter-paran and I checked, where it exact is. It is at the “Fort Good Hope” – the name allone would need to give it a try. When is in Canada the warmest time? I would give it a try and see what could happen there. 500 people are living there and when i told them, i am here, cause of astrocartogr. … i am surely on the side one on the fort-good-hope-news 😉
When I travelled and worked abroad in Saudi Arabia- Jeddah, on my Saturn-IC -line, Uranus-MC -line, was an experience on so many levels in a muslim dictatorship, I was 19-23. I sang in Bejing on my Jupiter-IC-line in front of 100 million television viewers in mandarine and that was an incredibe experience too, my 15 minutes of fame 🙂 …. In India Mumbai and Goa, was also a place I learned a lot from, being there on my Mercury -DC line and Jupiter AC-line Yes I also lived in New York – Jupiter MC-line Neptune Ic-line Now I live on lat.66 and the lines are very far from me and I do feel like I am far out there… between Saturn and Moon. Must go to Reikjavik on Island on my SUN -MC-line…close to Mercury-MC line…. maybe I should finish my book there 🙂
This reminds me of Chinese metaphysics and feng shui (although this is not similar to feng shui). In the east they have this notion of heaven, earth and man or the 3 realms. Heaven is time and it’s quality, one’s luck or fortune, and is studied by the different astrology systems. Earth is the space, how the qualities of time manifest and take shape, how one experiences time, this is studied by feng shui (and no, feng shui it’s not about areas of life in your house, it’s not about colors or decor, it’s about the shape of land and de construction of your house, despite what you see online which is all trash). Man is our own volition and free will, what we do and how we choose to react. It’s said that we can’t control and can’t influence our luck/fortune (time), we can’t control but we can influence how things manifest by choosing to move to a better environment (earth), and we can always control and influence what we do and how we react (man). So it’s not fatalistic like in the west, where some believe that all is predetermined, it’s like a tier list of things that we can’t change and others that we can. For example, it’s said that “astrology is the diagnosis” and “feng shui is the prescription” or that “we may have really severe bad luck with money, but with good feng shui it’s impossible to be poor”. In the west we only have astrology (and maybe magic), and we try to justify everything with astrology and becomes and question of “either it’s all fixed or nothing is fixed”. In the east they see it differently, and for studying the qualities of luck and time they have various systems of astrology (bazi, zi wei dou shu, wester style astrology, date selection), for creating opportunities and controlling how luck manifests they have different schools of feng shui that study different aspects of environment (evergreen and landform schools, flying stars, 8 mansions, etc), and to help you go through all this they have systems of self improvement or divination systems to help you act better (yi jing, qi men dun jia, meditation, etc).
Thank you for the great article on the topic. Perhaps I missed if this was discussed during, but say you have difficult planetary placements in the 12th house, would moving to another location where these go to the 11th or 1st house (even outside of landing on a positive line) be a way to resolve their issues?
Amazing,,, I will say she speaks about it as if it was websiteed information like human design…but technically this form of astrocartography is astroNOMICAL alignments. In addition, they are speaking of the placements being just on the AC, IC, DS, and MC…..Those are the main points yes but one also has aspect lines too!
So if you apply the planet’s character to the line’s theme it seems like that will be activated by that combination or placement ? Is that correct? This fits in with my obsession of Geography (one of my 17 obsessions😅) I’ve only just worked out the Planets are being associated to the MC / IC, to the Mid-Heaven / Nadir (the Vertical Lines) or Asc /Dsc lines to the parabolic lines indicating Sun-up and Sun-down (or planet-up or planet-down)
Also my Mars and Venus lines crossover in Leipzig, Germany. This happens to be over my Favourite Motorcycle manufacturer’s; BMW. My natal Mars and Venus (& Pluto) are First Decan Virgo and 3rd House. Both have rulership over cars and bikes. I’ve loved cars n bikes, they’re my earliest memories. Especially German, French and Italian.
wow. On my Trip in Rome my Wallet and all my “Identity” (passport, driver-liscence) got stolen. There is my MC/Mars-line, crossing my sun-line and the paran-line “sun-mars”. Can i see it as my identity (sun) got stolen (mars)? Suntransit was over my Pluto. I had so much trouble finding a police(wo)man, who speaks english and is willing to help me.
lol This seems to be a tad too much for my inner scorpio stellium Wednesday Addams, I love the information, but it’s just so shocking how energy draining it is to listen to hyper energy 😵💫 But I will get through it, though it might take couple of days cause I need break, but the information is really appreciated and well explained and easy understandable. 👍 I really love everything shared in this podcast 🌻(and the on screen examples too! I usually listen only via podcast but I switched to youtube for this one)
