The root chakra (Muladhara) and the adrenal glands are vital energy points in the body that impact health and well-being. If you experience symptoms such as weight problems, constipation, degenerative arthritis, osteoporosis, or lack of enthusiasm, purpose, or ambition, it is important to identify which chakra may be blocked or imbalanced so that you can take steps to address the issue.
The Solar Plexus Chakra, associated with the pancreas, produces insulin and regulates blood sugar levels. It’s associated with the body’s metabolism and energy balance. Energy healers, like reiki practitioners, can help determine if someone has a blocked chakra or chakras by self-analysis. When the third chakra is weak, we use power from a place of insecurity and relate to the world from our ego.
Chakra system imbalances can cause various health problems, affecting the associated endocrine gland and resulting in illness. This article covers the seven chakras in the body and their associated organs, starting with the root chakra and moving upward to the crown chakra. Each chakra is associated with an endocrine gland, and the Solar Plexus Chakra is associated with the pancreas.
To maintain healthy blood sugar levels, try intermittent fasting, which promotes insulin sensitivity and improves blood sugar management. The Solar Plexus Chakra governs personal power and metabolic processes, making it particularly relevant to diabetes. Inadequate or excess energy can lead to hypoglycemia and diabetes.
Chakras and the Endocrine system include the Crown Chakra (Sahasrara), Pineal Gland, Third Eye Chakra (Ajna), Pituitary Gland, and Throat Chakra (Vishuddi). Understanding the different chakras or energy points in your body can help you address issues related to emotions, health, and life.
📹 6 Tips to Lower Blood Sugar & Reverse Prediabetes Naturally (Without Medication)

Which chakra is responsible for cholesterol?
The Solar Plexus chakra, located below the sternum, may be responsible for high cholesterol, diabetes, arthritis, and ulcers. It plays a crucial role in balancing emotions and should be kept clear. Clearing this chakra involves gentle motions down from the heart through the solar plexus, as if removing gray smoke or mud. It is essential to express emotions as new repressed ones can clog it up again. The Meng Mein chakra, located between the kidneys, is responsible for back problems, kidney problems, and high blood pressure.
Clearing this chakra is important as fear is stored there. To avoid causing blood pressure to soar, it is advised to clear the area with a daily “lavender/salt shower”. Supporting HuffPost starts at $2 to provide free, quality journalism that puts people first.
Which organ controls your blood sugar?
Glucagon and insulin are hormones that regulate blood glucose levels in the pancreas. Glucagon increases blood sugar levels, while insulin decreases them. Insufficient insulin production or improper use can lead to hyperglycemia, a condition characterized by high blood sugar levels. Glycogen, a stored form of glucose, is primarily stored in the liver and muscles. Both hormones are produced by alpha cells in the pancreas, while glycogen is a stored form of glucose. Insufficient insulin production or improper use can lead to hyperglycemia and diabetes.
Which chakra is related to blood circulation?
Anahata, the heart chakra, controls blood pressure, circulation, and organ health. When imbalanced, it can lead to issues like breathing difficulties, high blood pressure, and poor circulation to the arms and hands. It can also cause feelings of distrust, unworthiness, manipulative behavior, and codependency. To help yourself through this, use the color green, which glows green and can vibrate up to pink when fully activated. Plants can be a great way to open the heart chakra by sending love to them.
Start small by repotting a vine-like arrowhead plant in a sunny spot with water and sunlight. As the vines grow, snip them and repot them. If you want to share the love, gift your snippings to friends and family.
Which chakra imbalance causes laziness?
The Svadhishthana Chakra is represented by the crocodile, symbolizing laziness, insensitivity, and danger. Water, a symbol of hidden danger, is soft and pliable but can be powerful when out of control. The Chakra’s divinity is Brahma the Creator and his daughter Sarasvati, the Goddess of wisdom and fine arts. The color orange, symbolizing the rising consciousness, signifies activity and purity, and positive qualities like joy, faith, self-confidence, and energy. Exercises and meditations for this Chakra can help balance negative emotions and promote positive qualities.
Which chakra controls metabolism?
The solar plexus chakra, associated with fire and yellow color, governs digestion, metabolism, self-esteem, and energy. It influences how we digest experiences and our overall attitude towards life. A balanced solar plexus chakra leads to self-confidence, drive, clear goals, healthy digestion, and energized feelings. The heart chakra, Anahata Chakra, is located at the center of the chest and radiates energy downward into the arms and hands, influencing everything we do with our hands. Both chakras play a crucial role in our overall well-being.
Which chakra is blocking my weight loss?
The root chakra, Muladhara, is located at the base of the spine and is associated with survival, physical stability, and grounding. It is blocked by weight problems. Chakras are vital to whole-body health but are not visible to the naked eye. They are believed to be portals through which the main energetic channels of the body flow. The term “chakra” is common in Ayurveda, yoga, and other holistic medicine practices. Understanding the ancient energy system of chakras is essential for maintaining physical and emotional well-being. Balancing one’s own chakras can help maintain overall health.
What chakra imbalance causes weight gain?
Manipura, the chakra associated with digestion and metabolism, can lead to weight and digestive issues if imbalanced. It is located in the spine at the coccyx, where the pelvic lexus is located. The name Muladhara, composed of Mula and Dhara, means “Root” and “Support”. Its influence can extend to the navel level. Muladhara’s harmony depends on primary needs such as eating and drinking, social stability, financial stability, and the house. Imbalance in this chakra can lead to weight and digestive difficulties.
Which gland controls blood sugar?
The pancreas, a large gland behind the stomach, is responsible for maintaining healthy blood sugar levels by producing hormones like insulin and glucagon. Diabetes occurs when the pancreas doesn’t produce enough insulin or the body doesn’t use it properly. Glucagon, a hormone from alpha cells, works with other hormones and bodily functions to control glucose levels. It’s closely related to beta cells, making it crucial for maintaining blood glucose stability. Insulin is produced to prevent blood glucose from rising too high, and when blood glucose levels drop, the pancreas pumps more glucagon to help it rise back up.
Which chakra causes procrastination?
The biopsychology of yoga posits that procrastination is influenced by weak solar plexus, root, and occasionally imbalanced sacral chakras, in addition to a weak solar plexus chakra (3rd chakra, Manipura Chakra).
Which organ is related to sugar?
Insulin, a hormone secreted by the pancreas, regulates glucose levels in the blood, allowing glucose to enter body cells and storing excess glucose in the liver for supplementation. It also helps in balancing blood glucose levels. Alcohol consumption is a common misconception, but it affects all genders and ages, including young women. Understanding alcohol consumption, including standard drink sizes, health risks, binge drinking, and how to lower intake, is crucial for maintaining good health.

A bit late to the “party” here, but I was just diagnosed prediabetic and am still trying to absorb this news. I came online to look for information and your article is so useful. I downloaded the guide and it is wonderful. Thank you for caring enough to help us with this condition. It made it just a little bit less scary..
Was diagnosed with prediabetes (5,78% A1c, glocose 125mg/dl) a couple of months ago. I a skinny person who wants to gain weight. I have changed my lifestyle, working out, mainly weight lifting 4-5x a week for 1h, and changed my diet where i eat 2700 calories per day (500 surplas). This diet consist of a net 330g carb (mainly complex carbs), 135g of protein and 88-90g of healthy fats. So far i have been feeling better and the tiredness dueing the day is gone. Unnecessary cravings also almost disappear. I have noticed though that whenever i am stressed i experience bloodsugar spike that can reach up to 160mg/dl.. whenever i have it is try to exercise either at home or run outside.
Hello, I just ran across your articles today and have subscribed to your website. I need to lower my AC1- it’s 5.9. I have been educating myself on what to eat. You do an excellent job of explaining things. I have cleaned out my pantry and focusing on eliminating no sugar added foods, bad oils, and choosing low carb net options. I already work out regularly. Now that I’m retired, I have time to go through all your materials. Thank you for your compassion and knowledge. God bless you.
Hi Morgan, your podcasts are extremely helpful. My GP actually ordered a fasting insulin for me (looked at me funny when I asked, though!) and told me I’d have to pay for it. When I presented for my blood draw I was informed that no, I did not have to pay for it as it was covered under OHIP (I’m in Ontario, Canada). Sure enough, it’s elevated — not by a lot but still elevated. It has motivated me to get back on to a low carb diet (I previously reversed my pre-diabetes by dropping 60 lbs in 2018 and have put 30 lbs back on.). I will continue to follow you, your content is very very good!
I first listen to dr jasons fung article and love it. Come across and listen to your wc. Further enlightened me abt. My diabetis conditions. I started fasting aug 29 and will be my 1 month fasting today. Approximately 9/15 ratio. I did eliminated carbs and sugar as far as i know And, totally drop my metformin and gliclazide completely. I monitored my blood glucose test daily with an average reading of approximately 6.0 or 5.9 wc definetely far from my old score of sometimes morethan 7 even w medication. Finally, i will be having my 3 months hbA1c this 1st week of october. Besides controlling my food intake, i did a lot of daily exercise by walking biking. I hope this informations will help people like me to at least cure or prevent the diabetis sickness. Thanks Dr morgan dr fung for all your excellent information about helping us diabetics to live a meaningful life by reversing our diabetis.
Great article Dr Morgan. Quick couple of queries for my parent – 1) when a patient’s Hab1c who was pre-diabetic (after 9 months of intermittent fasting) is 5.4 consistently for 9 consecutive months, is the patient confirmed non-diabetic? 2) when the same patient however shows fluctuating dawn phenomenon (fasting glucose of 5.8 to 6.7), is the patient considered to be diabetic or pre-diabetic?
Hello, I just discovered your website. My A1-C is at 6 but I am slim (5’3″ 104 lbs) and I exercise. I’ve never been overweight and am more interested in salty/savory than sweets. It’s a little puzzling, but my grandparent had full blown diabetes so perhaps I inherited the genetic predisposition toward diabetes. I think I need help with food choices. Thank you.
i just got diagnosed with diabetes. i am having so much trouble finding stuff i can actually eat. i just started metformin yesterday. i have other issues like thyroid, high cholesterol and endocrine issues.–high cortisol –that have created tumors in my neck. in the past few years i have had to give up caffeine, dairy,,processed meats( like hot dogs) frozen stuff that has a lot of salt and preservatives, alcohol. i have given up alot of sugar but not all. i fought so hard to not have to take meds for this. i hope this helps me. thanks!
Thk you. Unfortunately for me, I eat OMAD no added carbs, no bread, no alcohol no processed foods no snacking no junk, drink plenty of filtered water & green tea no milk or sugar. Prediabetic aged 67F, normally thin small frame, but I’ve been under chronic stress for 2yrs, high stress, get to sleep fine but wake up at 3 4,5am wide awake overthinking then have to be up for work which is also extremely toxic😢I’m desperately trying to get a new job, but at my age very difficult as I can’t retire as on my own last 10yrs, rents gone up due to Covid and no work I’m homeless. So under chronic stress. 16:8 strict yet no weight loss in the last year due to high cortisol. It’s so hard, as ppl say, just de-stress, but due to my situation this isn’t helping me as I’m doing my best to survive. I don’t know what else I can do. Thk you.
53 and tested pre diabetic. I also have Hashimoto’s among other issues. Pretty sure work stress is killing me. I’ve been doing keto and intermittent fasting for over 2 years now. I got off track a little & the constant hunger is back with a vengeance. I need help. Very overwhelmed. What are some healthy fats I can eat besides avocados? I don’t know if organic sunflower seed butter is ok or not? How do I lower my cortisol levels?
I was told yesterday that I’m pre-diabetic! I’m 42 5ft 9in I weigh 167.4… I have never been one that indulged in sugar, Other than pepsi. I’m getting a second opinion cause other than an inactive other then work. But my work is a very fast paced constant on my feet. I just do not believe I’m pre-diabetic.
My fasting blood sugar is always high— 130-150 on average. Yet, my blood sugars seem normal throughout the day and last A1C is 5.8. What does this mean? I had gestational diabetes but I’m not even 30. I watch what I eat and have been counting carbs!! I swear I can’t lose weight and my thyroid level was 1.7 I think. Ughh I want to reverse!
One of the best explained article ever My body weight used to be 100.5 kg now it’s 72 kg now Eventhough I’ve lost considerable weight still my blood glucose is not fixed My hba1c 6.23 For people without diabetes, the normal range for the hemoglobin A1c level is between 4% and 5.6%. Last aug. 2023 had lab tests showed me with a glucose 124 and AIC 6.4. Dr said will check again in 6 mo. but he was on the verge of putting me on meds then. That lit me up changed everything except 1 thing that was holding me back. Went low carb cutting out all sugar and starches, mainly eating protein and good fat. But my morning fasting blood sugars remained stubborn at 110-112. Then went to OMAD BS readings remained stubborn. I had previously thought 1-2 beers might not affect anything, but I wrong at least for me. After not drinking beer, the last 2 mornings 97 and 93 respectively. BTW have also lost 35 lbs during this time period.
Dear doctor, thank you for the information, I was a happy guy, my fasting blood glucose was always in 70 -80 range when I go for test. But for the last 6 months I was going through severe anxity and insomania. Last week I gone for a 3 month test and it showed 5.8. Can it be reverse if I relax and meditate ?
Great article and information. Unfortunately I do not fall into the normal person you may deal with in that I am 71 and an avid fitness buff. I have actually been a trainer for my entire life. I am by no means over weight. My fasting blood sugar is always around 106 just over 100. I have not had an A1C done yet. I have a good diet with little sugar. My cholesterol is also too high. I may be starting on a Staten soon. I’m concerned about that as well.
So I just got diagnosed with pre diabetes I’m at a 6.3 and I’m aggressively going at it with limiting my carbs to 100 a day which is a major change for me and exercising. My dr said I can have a cheat day once a week but didn’t give me a hard limit for my cheat day, do you have any suggestions? Maybe 200g, 300g,? I like to go to the movies and have a popcorn and candy. Also once you have reverse pre diabetes is it safe for some or most people to increase their daily carb intake as long as they continue to exercise regularly?
I want to politely voice my opinion on Yourself directing to other articles on how to reverse prediabetes. I came to this article to learn how to deal with prediabetis. Thanks for the information you give out, but if you could get to the point like saying reduce stress, sugar and carbs and get exercise I thought you were going to say. Thanks for the information you give out, I’m sure you mean well. I am afraid to voice my opinion as someone might start cutting me down for politely voicing my opinion.
So the other day I got my blood work back and they said I have pre-diabetes at 6.5 for my a1c, I noticed the a1c chart says 6.4 and lower is pre-diabetes and anything over is diabetes, so does that mean I am diabetic? im confused cause the dr said i was pre but the chat says 6.4 and lower . I do need to go back 3 months time for more blood work. Also can I revise to be normal a1c levels at 6.5 or will I always be diabetic. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
I believe that a balanced approach is fundamental. Opting for a diet rich in fruit, vegetables, whole grains and organic meats, with no added sugar, can be transformative. Giving up medication may even be a possibility, as the example of a healthy snack combining fruit and protein suggests. For those looking for more information and practical tips, I found a article on YouTube that expands on this topic in detail. youtu.be/UJjlR6Kok-4 Remember, regular eating, exercise and a disciplined lifestyle are essential allies in the effective control of diabetes. The body benefits when it knows what to expect.
Statements like “it’s a simple finger prick that doesn’t hurt” may apply to some folks but not all. I HATE finger pricks. Hearing stuff like this reminds me of when I was a kid, and the Cro-Magnon dentist would say “You’re going to feel just a little pinch” before he gave you that eye-watering jab with his large bore needle.
I just found out that I have a 5.7 pre-diabetes I’m trying to lower it so what can I do I’m also going to be recovering from a scopic shoulder surgery so what foods should I stay away from what can I drink when can I drink I have the Kirkland Signature vitarain and I have the izze are those drinks good choices instead of juice and soda what about sprite zero
At my 38 birthday, diagnosed with pre diabetes 114, and a cholesterol 246, decided to not let go to the next stage, here was plan for the first 4 weeks ONLY: List of NO’s: No sugar No bread No carbs (pasta, rice,…), and very little of potatoes or sweet potatoes. No chocolate No meat No eggs No oil fried food or any virgin oily food No dairy products Food program is 5-6 small/moderate meals (depends on your level of activity) a day, basically raw vegetables, fruits, grilled chicken, grilled fish, all types of nuts, grilled vegetables, or air fried. Adding cardio to my exercise routine (running, cycling, elliptical orbit rack, intensive walking) for average 30 minutes each training beside body building for another 40 minutes. Today and after 4 weeks pre diabetes reversed to normal, cholesterol went to 196 (normal range), and lost 5 kgs (from 84 to 79 kg), I had today as break, and will continue the same, but from now on will start to add other items to avoid losing any nutrients rich food ( I.e. beef once a week, skimmed milk). Just wanted to share my story with you guys, you may take advantage from it, but, never give up. I am now on adjusting the ratio between LDL and HDL, will edit later on Thanks all

First buy a glucometer, sample after every meal to learn what is poison for you and what is not. After two weeks my hubby went down from 200 after a meal to 100 fasting. So he doesn’t eat what gave him the 200 reading. He thought that Organic Wheat Flour Pancakes were not a problem. Management differs from person to person. But in our opinion a glucometer opens your eyes.
Thanks I have been diagnosed with diabetes type 2 the whole morning I wasn’t feeling well and fatigued as well, Thought I was coming down with a cold or flu. This came up in my youtube feed, thought I’d just try it. It made me feel Absolutely amazng immediately . Maybe my sugar was high and this helped beautifully. Powerful healing technique.
I do not have diabetes but I do have low blood sugar. I have 5.5 years of acupuncture training but have not found a point that will keep blood sugar level. I have found that fasting 12-16 hours/ day works wonders, but I still want to find an acupoint that will keep blood sugar level. If you or the Japanese doctor know of one, I expect we would all like to know it, too. Thanks. (My website is Paying Winh..)
