The root chakra, also known as the root chakra in Sanskrit, is the foundation of our body and develops in the heart. The seven major chakras are entwined around the central nerve-column called the “Sushumna” in Sanskrit, which corresponds to our energy channels. These chakras are divided into higher and lower chakras, with the earthly being “lower” and the divine being “higher”. The higher chakras are connected to the thyroid gland, adrenaline glands, pituitary gland, and pineal gland.
Chakras are energy points in the body that impact health and well-being. Blocked chakras can affect health and what can be done to improve it. The heart chakra is linked to empathy and acceptance of others, while the upper three chakras are associated with less physical attributes, such as self-expression, intuition, and connection to the divine. Each chakra is associated with a different color and a place in the body where energy gathers. Aligned chakras are linked with yoga, a stress-reducing activity.
There is no connection between out-of-body experiences (OBE) and chakras or Kundalini energy. The heart chakra represents feeling in the body, and blockage to this chakra can cause heart issues. The Muladhara chakra is connected to drums, while the crown chakra is associated with understanding and forgiveness. The sacral chakra is connected to tangible creation and interaction, while the throat chakra is associated with evocation magic. The Anahata, or heart chakra, is the bridge between the lower chakras (associated with the physical) and the upper chakras (associated with the divine).

Who should not use singing bowls?
The use of Tibetan singing bowls as a therapy for physical or mental health issues should be approached with caution. People with epilepsy, metal implants, or those with inflammatory skin conditions should avoid singing bowls due to potential triggers. Place singing bowls away from the belly and back, if approved by the doctor. Children should be cautious about using singing bowls incorrectly, as incorrect use can damage hearing. After surgery, wait until sutures are removed and the skin is fully healed before placing them on the body.
Singing bowls should be used as a complementary therapy, not the only one, and not as a replacement for other treatments or therapies. If you have a diagnosed condition, consult your doctor about any treatment options, including singing bowls, to ensure proper management of thoughts and feelings. It is essential to consult with your doctor before using singing bowls as a treatment for any physical or mental health issues.

Which chakra is associated with trauma?
The root chakra is a fundamental energy center that is shaped by various events, including financial traumas, loss of home or land, and relocations. These traumas can lead to the belief that the world is dangerous and that we are victims of it. This can result in feelings of anxiety, a desire for a predictable life, and a lack of acceptance of life’s experiences.
However, all traumas are a root chakra phenomenon, and the unbalanced root chakra often harbors unrealistic hope that it will never undergo sudden and unpredictable changes. This accumulation of traumatic incidents can lead to a “no” to life, preventing us from fully embracing life’s experiences. This can sometimes lead to escapism and fantasy.
A significant portion of our mental turbulence is the result of untreated traumas stored in the root chakra. Unresolved memories can also transform into physical pains that spread throughout areas governed by the root chakra, such as legs, feet, and the muscular and skeletal systems. By addressing these root chakra traumas, we can better navigate life and navigate the challenges that come our way.
