Which Chakra Nature In Naruto Is The Best?

In Naruto, the five basic elements and two non-elemental varieties of chakra are discussed, highlighting their impact on users’ jutsu and abilities. The list of 22 chakra natures, from strongest to weakest, is provided, including the Yin-Yang Release, which combines the release of Yin and Yang. Fire Release is the main chakra nature in Naruto, and it impacts his fighting style. Other chakra natures include Wind, Water, and Lightning.

The rare feat of mastering all five basic chakra natures in the Naruto series is achieved through the Lightning Style, which is the only one of the five natures that has received quality development and exposition. Chakra is a supernatural substance that is the basis of ninjutsu and the life energy of all living things. Different types of chakra, such as tailed beast chakra, senjutsu chakra, and absorption chakra, are related to the Ōtsutsuki Clan.

In the world of Naruto, chakra is the most important thing for a ninja to have, as without it, they cannot use any of the immensely powerful ninjutsu. Yin-Yang is the strongest chakra nature, with chidori, kirin, and raikage lightning cloak being some of its most powerful styles. Water is the strongest 1v1 chakra nature, best for capturing people.

The strongest element is Katon/Ama, while the strongest KKG/KKM is Ashbone. Wood is the best combined elemental nature (kekkei genkai). Advanced form of chakra control involves molding and defining one’s chakra’s nature, altering its properties and characteristics for use in various situations.

The most potent chakra natures in the Naruto series include Boil Release (Vapor Style), Storm Release, Explosion Release, and Magnet.

Can anyone use all 5 chakra natures?

Naruto, the protagonist of the series, is capable of using all five Chakra Natures by the end of Shippuden. Initially skilled in one or two elemental affinities, Naruto learned every other element by the Fourth Shinobi War. The addition of Chakra from every tailed beast allowed him to master advanced nature techniques like Magnet release and Boil release. After gaining the Six Paths Senjutsu, he seamlessly integrated Ninjutsu techniques on top of the already complex Rasenshuriken. His mastery of all elements demonstrates his innate skill and dedication to mastering the series.

Can Jiraiya use all 5 chakra natures?

Jiraiya, a goofy and eccentric ninja, was skilled in various natures, including Fire, Earth, Water, Wind, Yin and Yang Release. He could combine fire with his toad’s oil for devastating attacks, and create swamps to trap targets. He was taught senjutsu by Fukasaku, which increased his speed, durability, and physical strength. However, he must enter Sage Mode, which requires constant replenishment of natural energy. To achieve this, he summons Fukasaku and Shima to gather natural energy for him. They can combine attacks with Jiraiya’s, or perform jutsu that he cannot.

Intelligence was Jiraiya’s specialty, with a spy network running throughout the Five Great Shinobi Countries. He is perceptive in combat, observing opponents’ actions and forming theories about their actions to capitalize on battles. He has been a talented teacher, with his students becoming powerful and well-known shinobi. Jiraiya’s memory is strong, and he was able to craft a coded message using the page numbers of Icha Icha Tactics as he was dying. His abilities in senjutsu, intelligence gathering, and shrewdness make him a valuable asset in the field.

Which is the strongest chakra nature in Naruto?

The Yin Release and Yang Release are two of the rarest and most powerful Chakra Natures in Naruto, created by Sage of the Six Paths Hagoromo Otsutsuki. These Chakra Natures allow a user to control a specific element, with most ninjas having access to one or two. Some have multiple users and are more common, while others are rare and only have a few users. These Chakra Natures are so vital and widely used throughout Naruto that the Five Great Shinobi Countries are named after one of them.

This article will cover Naruto’s power system and the various Chakra Natures, spoilers for characters that use all the Chakra Natures, and the nature of Chakra itself for Naruto, Naruto: Shippuden, and Boruto. The total number of users will be based on anime totals, not movies, video games, or novels.

Which is the strongest chakra?

The crown chakra, situated at the vertex of the cranium, is regarded by some as the most potent of the chakras, as it serves as a conduit between the individual and higher states of consciousness and spirituality. Despite its subjective nature and the variability in reported experiences among individuals, this chakra is widely acknowledged for its pivotal role in spiritual and psychic development.

Who has the lowest chakra in Naruto?

Naruto characters, such as Itachi Uchiha, Kakashi Hatake, Hiruzen Sarutobi, Rock Lee, Shikamaru Nara, Tenten, and Kurenai, possess low chakra reserves but excel in various techniques. Kurenai excels with careful planning, while Tenten’s weapon skills stand out despite having low reserves. Shikamaru’s intellect surpasses physical strength, outsmarting foes with strategic brilliance. Chakra is crucial for ninjutsu, and those with higher reserves can perform the strongest techniques without problems.

However, some characters, like Kurenai, manage to make a name for themselves by being extra careful and not rushing recklessly without planning. These characters demonstrate the importance of chakra in Naruto and the power of strategic planning and planning in achieving success.

What is the rarest chakra nature?

Wind Release is a rare nature transformation that allows users to cut through anything. It can be channeled into Chakra Blades, exhaled from the user’s mouth, or generated with the user’s hands for precision strikes. It can be further enhanced by compressing or layering different wind streams together. Wind Release can launch particles into the air, creating dust clouds or sand storms. Naruto Uzumaki adds Wind Release to the Rasengan for throwing it.

Temari generates wind by waving her Giant Folding Fan, which Kamatari rides towards opponents. Wind Release is naturally strong against Lightning Release and weak against Fire Release. When combined with Water Release, it increases the damage and coverage area of the water. When combined with other natures, certain kekkei genkai are produced, such as Ice Release, Scorch Release, Magnet Release, and Dust Release. Despite its rarity, the wind nature is common in Sunagakure ninja forces, with fans being a common trait among their forces.

Who mastered all 5 chakra natures?

Who mastered all 5 chakra natures?

Mastering all five natures is rare due to individuals’ natural inclination towards certain elements, requiring more training. Only seven shinobi have been known to use all five chakra natures through normal means. Other methods include possession of the Rinnegan, acquiring the Six Paths Senjutsu and Truth-Seeking Balls, possession of the Bashōsen, using Earth Grudge Fear, and using Yamato. In the anime, Fūka obtained these by stealing others’ chakra, but due to accumulated amounts exceeding one body’s limits, she had to divide them in various combinations.

In Naruto Shippūden: The Will of Fire, one who absorbs five kekkei genkai with the Chimera Technique gains mastery over all five natures. In Naruto Shippūden: Dragon Blade Chronicles, Naruto gains the Dragon Blade, allowing him to use all five natures.

In addition to the five elemental nature transformations, there are two nature transformations that source all non-elemental techniques, such as Shadow Imitation Technique, Multi-Size Technique, medical ninjutsu, and genjutsu. Yin Release (陰遁, Inton) and Yang Release (陽遁, Yōton) are used to perform Yin-Yang Release (陰陽遁, In’yōton, Onmyōton).

Who has the 2nd most chakra in Naruto?

The Sage of Six Paths and Father of Ninshu, Hagoromo, is renowned for his large chakra reserves, making him second only to Kaguya in terms of chakra volume. Hagoromo’s Six Paths Chakra is a powerful being in the Naruto universe. Madara Uchiha, an Uchiha and one of Indra Otsutsuki’s reincarnations, has some of the most chakra in the show. He can use two Rinnegan at once and multiple Susanoo clones against the Five Kage. After sealing the Ten-Tails within himself, he jumps up to third place, having the most chakra in the series before the introduction of the Otsutsuki Clan.

Who is the god of chakra?

The Chakra, a central concept in ancient meditation practices, is a petal lotus of “Essential nature” in esoteric Buddhism, corresponding to the second state of Four Noble Truths. The concept of the chakra originated in Hinduism, with beliefs varying between Indian religions. Early Sanskrit texts discussed chakras as meditative visualizations combining flowers and mantras and as physical entities in the body. In Kundalini yoga, techniques like breathing exercises, visualizations, mudras, bandhas, kriyas, and mantras focus on manipulating the flow of subtle energy through chakras.

The modern Western chakra system emerged from various sources, including H. P. Blavatsky and other Theosophists, Sir John Woodroffe’s 1919 book The Serpent Power, and Charles W. Leadbeater’s 1927 book The Chakras. It also includes psychological attributes, rainbow colors, and correspondences with other systems such as alchemy, astrology, gemstones, homeopathy, Kabbalah, and Tarot.

Which Naruto character has the best chakra?

Kaguya, a Ten-Tails jinchuriki with considerable chakra, was the sole character in Naruto capable of creating a Truth-Seeking Ball of sufficient magnitude to annihilate the planet. This exemplified her proficiency in Kekkei Moro techniques and her capacity to utilize her substantial chakra.

What is Minato’s chakra nature?

Minato, a skilled ninjutsu master, was taught by Jiraiya to summon toads and earned the respect and cooperation of Gamabunta. He demonstrated skill in barrier ninjutsu and Shadow Clone Technique, and was an adept sensor, detecting chakra signatures from great distances. Minato was proficient in nature transformations of Fire, Wind, Lightning, and Yin and Yang Release.

After observing the Tailed Beast Ball’s nature, Minato developed the Rasengan, the highest level of shape transformation. This technique gives an edge in combat as it requires no hand seals and is self-sustaining. Minato’s mastery allowed him to form it instantly and vary its size.

Minato’s other signature ability was the Flying Thunder God Technique, which he gained more mastery over than its creator, the Second Hokage. His exploits with this technique earned him the moniker “Konoha’s Yellow Flash”. With this technique, he could instantly move to the location of anything marked with his special seal, bring others with him, and teleport incoming projectiles away.

  • I always felt like Kishimoto could’ve put Lightning style in check if he simply switched its position in the 5 chakra nature cycle with Earth style, not to mention to me it’d make more sense. Think about it: 1. In real life the earth grounds Lightning as it’s not a conductor though water is a conductor of lightning. So it makes sense if lightning were weak against earth & strong against water. 2. Earth being weak against cutting winds makes sense to me more than lightning being weak to wind.

  • Everybody usually got a issue with fire style because most people evade it but in reality if you pay attention its only use a smoke screen or an attack to create time for another jutsu. For example Madara used his Fire Style to create a Ocean of fire, when the Hidden Mist Ninjas countered it he sent another wave of fire balls (another jutsu) that was hidden behind the smoke screen

  • Sasuke didn’t use fire style against team kakashi in the beginning of the Shippuden, he used his “raw strength”. And to be fair, if you had an upgraded and overall superior technique, that being amaterasu and flame control, it makes sense why Sasuke didn’t use much of fire style after that. Especially if you consider the caliber of that timeframe opponents and Jutsus

  • Fire is similar to kunai knives in that the reason it fails isn’t because it’s useless, it’s because it’s too powerful. Jutsu or not, most of the characters in Naruto are still only human. Stab them, and they’re gonna bleed and die if they can’t heal themselves or get to a medic. Light them on fire, and they’re gonna die.

  • Fire is slow, therefore a ninja has time to deflect/avoid/substitute/ etc. Against non ninjas and as weapons of mass destruction or terror they would be VERY useful and impressive. A fire style specialist would use a fire barrier against taijutsu and mix it with wind style to accelerate/amplify the attack. Would be interesting to see a fire rocket attack or fire tornado! EDIT: one way to balance them is to make fire attacks spend less chakra and lightning attacks spend more chakra.

  • Lightning was my favorite in terms of useage post hebi sasuke. He just made it so op. Fire in a senin series would actually damage or end people like when we saw orochimaru skin peel off so it was definitely nerfed. Wind had more potential but we hardly saw it used on naruto as he could have done more if he asked hinata or someone. Water style i loved a ton but nobody really had a use for it aside tobirama and kisame who basically were so busted with it.

  • The problem with the fireball technique and its variants is that they’re too flashy and block the users’ vision, and it’s (relatively) slow moving (especially late series). It’s pretty much a crowd control ability that is spammed as a main attack. You either need to make it soo big it’s impossible to miss, and powerful enough to destroy enemy defenses or do something completely different like an ability to create pillars of flame at a location you can see, or shoot thin filaments of flame from your fingers that you can use like a whip. But no, we see absolutely no creativity when it comes to fire style techniques. It’s like the moment the Uchiha clan created the fireball technique, everyones brain fell out and collectively said “-This is perfection! We will need literally nothing else ever again! No one is allowed to be creative with fire unless it’s to iterate on this!-” and we only get to see people actually be effective with fire style in filler, and even then it’s only kekkei genkai so it’s arguable not even then. What’s everyone’s fascination with flames spewing out their face to begin with? Why must it come out of their mouth? To simulate a bellows gusting air into a fire? You can also do that with a fan, and we know the Uchiha clan knows that because the fan to fuel the flame is literally their clan symbol! So why not sweep your hand through the air as if fanning the flames to start burning shit? If you’re going to keep breathing flames, at the very least, get creative with it!

  • Hey, I got a good suggestion for a article for you. Why now talk about why the Hyuga don’t just mix nature transformations into their Juken? I thought about that idea ages ago and wondered why it never happened. My thought is that it’s another tradition in the clan to not over rely on it or you’ll focus more on that than perfected your Juken correctly or something of that nature. Personally, that’s one of the biggest Naruto questions I would ask Kishimoto because someone like Hinata who has fire and lightning release as her affinities (ironically the same as Sasuke’s) and just transfer lightning or fire into an enemies Juken! Now, I know she wouldn’t use the most destructive natures on a person, but on creatures like the Zetsus?! I would actually pay to see that!

  • Fire style could have had some interesting uses by applying the heat of it instead. Imagine a firestyle jutsu that super heats all the metal in an area. No more metal ninja tools and equipment unless you choose to be burned. Can fatigue and slow down enemies as well as create an indirect way of removing water from play over time. Could be used for genjutsu via mirages or another form of stealth jursu to hide your appearance. Sasuke used his Fire style jutsu against Itachi to help set up Kiran after all by heating the air. Same idea in support form and more interesting than another fireball.

  • Lightning style is the only one that has multiple extra skill trees that will boost things like the fence and speed/stats If you were making a character in the game, he would definitely pick the lightning simply because of the lightning cloak or the speed boost techniques. Along with the debuff or stun moves plus is probably the fastest

  • You know, they may have balanced lightning a bit more if they had a specific water jutsu that makes it resistant with a little more chakra. And you can still make Suigetsu weak to lightning because the water he turns into doesn’t automatically have this property running. Also, considering they have healing in this show, they really could have had people getting injured with fire more.

  • I’m pretty sure multiple nature element were shown with the whole inferior/superior and combination aspect. Yamato and Naruto combining water and wind style, Naruto and Sasuke combining fire/inferno and wind style, Kakashi and Sasuke taking advantage over earth style with their lightning style, Naruto fighting Raikage with his wind style. That’s all I can remember… Other characters have also shown some of these as well, like Kakazu and Temari…

  • I agree that earth style is above fire style, but for a different reason than you pointed out. Earth style is versatile! Fire style is almost only used for offense. Earth style can be used for defense, offense, and even changing the environment. Fire style can change the environment through destruction, but that is limited. Earth style can create long lasting platforms, walls, and obstacles. The only non conventional use I can think of for fire style is to hide weapons and set up Sasuke s lightning jutsu. Besides that it is usually straightforward and one dimensional.

  • Kishimoto should have swapped lightning and earth in the element cycle, wind erodes rocks so air should be good against earth, earth cancels electricity so it should be good against lightning, and electricity passes wonderfully through water, so lightning should be good against water, as it already is

  • I would personally give them this style of ranking (more points, the better) Fire: Attack: 4 Defense: 1 Control: 1 Variability: 1 Stealth: 1 Lightning: Attack: 3 Defense: 3 Control: 2 Variability: 4 Stealth: 3 Earth: Attack: 2 Defense: 5 Control: 5 Variability: 3 Stealth: 5 Wind: Attack: 5 Defense: 2 Control: 3 Variability: 2 Stealth: 2 Water: Attack: 1 Defense: 4 Control: 4 Variability: 5 Stealth: 4

  • dude what you don’t get is that the rasengun charge up was the thing that saved naruto from the flames (4:40), as in if he hadn’t learned the rasengun he would have been tourched, the residual chakra that was outside the rasen gun during its formation was spinning so fast it formed a somewhat of a temp protective field around him, and also i thing ur wrong fire and lightning are the most op natures inthe naruto verse

  • The problem with fire is it having no physical form, as in you cannot touch it, so the impact it has relied on an invisible factor of heat. As a result, it is easier for the writer to justify the target shrugging off fire attacks than other types. On the other hand, as audiences you kinda expect wind, water, or earth to at least has some physical effects when they landed. The only other non-physical element is lightning, but it is often associated with some degree of paralysis effects too instead of just raw, invisible damage, so some audiences might expect it to do something anyway.

  • A lil off topic I like all the natures equally but I only really fuck with 2 jutsu from each 1. Lightning Style: Black Panther & Purple Lightning Fire Style: Bomb Blast Dance & Majestic Destroyer Flame Water Style: Water Dragon & Water Mirror Earth Style: Dark Swamp & Mud Wall Wind Style: Vacuum Sphere & Great Breach

  • The Fire and Lightning placements are pretty inarguable. Fire seems to be only good for burning things and distractions, but, to be honest, it isn’t really that good at burning things as you’ve already noted. Lightning breaks the element wheel, but even if it didn’t, it has Lightning Armor which is unquestionably the strongest basic elemental technique, being one of the strongest attacks and definitely the strongest defense and utility. The other three are pretty comparable. I think you rated Wind a little high. Excepting Temari blowing away kunai, it doesn’t have much defensive utility. One could maybe argue that flight counts, but we only really see Temari fly with it and not very well which I think is a shame. Not having proper flight through Wind is a big missed opportunity. It is supposed to be really offensive, but we don’t see it beat the armor of the element it is supposed to be good against. Earth style has good defense, offense, and utility. The mass manipulation is crazy useful. Traveling underground is useful. One could argue that a lot of its defenses got shot right through, but Kakuzu’s wasn’t, and a lot of the others happened after all elemental usages except lightning completely broke down in the face of War Arc power scaling. Water also has good utility, offense, and defense. The Mist technique is really handy and was probably underutilized late in the series. The Water Prison is a great capture technique. Water Wall techniques were used to defend against a variety, and the Water Jets used by the Frog Sages and the Second Hokage have really good pinpoint damage to pair with the wide area damage of some of the others.

  • The worst to me is earth style, its not flashy but it versatility cannot be denied, fire style is nothing but 100% offensive hence its used as a bulk attack tool, wind hits 3rd, not enough jutsu to rate it, we get 2 or 3 with filler in Naruto and shippuden. Water is second because it has a balance of attacks and defenses. Finally we get lightning ex machina. Attack 100 defense 75, versatility 75. The only lightning style that was ask was Jiriboshi (electric current) from a filler character. Theres a reason Kakashi and Sasuke throw chidori and raikiri like its going out of style.

  • Reasons to like Aavtar the last airbender, your attacks have weight to them! People get burned, crushed, frozen, and blown away! If a fireball is coming at you even as the main character you better block it and even in terms of Aang defending himself he gets overpowered plenty of times because FIRE IS HOT!!!

  • Fire style has a lot of potential to be very strong. It just seems to never hit. and it’s not like it’s actually slow. It’s just that characters seem to dodge just barely because they’re expecting it. Honestly, the issue is that most top tiers don’t have fire affinity by chance. It’s a real shame. Cuz a fire stlye can come out just as fast as a wind or lightning style if used by an equal strength guy with the appropriate affinity. I always liked Fire style, I wish they let it do something for once. I almost wonder if it has something to do with censorship. Madara devastated an army with just 2 fire Jutsu. the first would have wrecked most of them but was stopped by an entire platoon of water jutsu users. but as it was expected be stopped, Madara used the resulting mist as cover for a great fireball spam. likely killing hundreds or even thousands. Which was epic.

  • Only resen why earth and a specially fire is so weak is because it is so strong . If ther was a scene of a guy burnig it whod be rated mature and they don’t want that so leathe elements like fire style and earth style are to strong so they fight with non leathe element like water style and wind style .Only exception is lightning style because it’s quick deat

  • I wouldn’t say that lightning style is a clear winner over wind style. They are definitely closer than you state. You forget that lightning style is weaker against wind style. Therefore, it seems logical to me that the strongest is the wind style, because only the weakest fire style has an advantage against it. Indra’s arrow isn’t the strongest, it’s just Sasuke’s strongest. You can see beautifully there that wind style rasen shuriken canceled it.

  • Inferno Style or Blaze Release is a Kekkei Genkai, but it isn’t a Kekkei Genkai like Nature Combination Kekkei Genkei. well, not two of the typical ones. if it’s a combination of any two it’s a combination of Fire and Yin release. probably same thing for Darui’s Black Lightening. Lightening Release + Yin.

  • Lightning and Earth styles should have been inverted in the Naruto’s graph about strength and weaknesses, with Wind strong against Earth because of the erosion, the Earth strong against Lightning because is basically immune to electricity and Lightning strong against water because of high conducting properties of water.

  • Water style isn’t weak to lightning, Suigetsu is weak to lightning style, his gimmick is about liquefying himself, so the lightning works better on him than it would a regular person. In terms of jutsu interactions, water just conducts the electricity. That doesn’t make lightning have a distinct advantage on water.

  • One of the issues I have with the Boruto manga, aside from the fact they made it into a sci-fi story, is how little emphasis there has been on the Nature Transformations. We havn’t even seen any new Kekke Genkei introdued. There are at least 2 Combos (Fire and Lightning and Wind and Lightning) that we have yet to see, and I think it’s a shame. Boruto might not be a bad series, but it’s also not good as it has lost what made the original Naruto story special.

  • Keep in mind we don’t know what temperatures the fire style attacks are. Let alone fire should be used more as a DoT damage dealer, so yep you use it for a short term attack and not surprising it isn’t effective. Not to mention the proper way to use a fireball would be to detonate it when it reaches the target not just slam into them. Let alone using fire style to accelerate your weapon/kunai. I’d say the issue is more balance in elements should be more asymmetrical than direct pew pew. Also that Earth and Lighting have their proper positions reversed messes things up. Some of this as well I think just comes down to the protagonists, so obviously we see more of their go to styles.

  • An other thing to consider to rate these transformations is even what you can do combining them, and if you consider this I think Earth and Water styles gain an edge and Lightning actually loses a lot. Earth has access to: – Dust – Sand – Wood – Lava – Explosion All absolutely broken tier styles. Water has access to: – Wood – Ice – Storm – Boiling Even these are really powerful styles. Lightning instead has only access to Explosion and Storm, have really less combinations and that’s the reason why we see a lot of pure lightning style moves. Wind has good combinations: – Dust – Sand – Ice And fire is again the less impressive. I think fire style is used by powerful characters and symbolize power in Naruto but is actually not really strong, so 5th place. Now the things are hard, I think that lightning having low combinations and relying for the majority only on itself is actually the 4th in terms for strength. Earth style gain access to the most broken combinations and on the major number of these, so for this reason I think is a great secondary transformation, but only by itself is actually quite poor, for this reason I gave it 3rd place. Now we have the remaining Water and Wind, both are impressive styles by their own and you can become a terrifying force as a specialist but at the same time Water has a great variety of combinations, for this reason I see it taking the 1st place as the best overall, with wind at the second place. I could argue for the earth taking the second place because I think the best ninja would start with water style and then taking the earth style eventually, gaining access to the Wood style jutsu, that now we can understand why is the main style of the God of Shinobis, Hashirama Senju.

  • @dygoknight its actually not goofy that fire does nothing to ice. Solid ice, especially if the weilder can re-freeze and replenish the ice would be superior to fire. Its not as easy as you think for fire to burn through ice. If anything, ice is one of the best things you could use to repel fire based attacks. Fire is competing with the melting point of a material, in the case of ice, its not only just competing against the melting point, its also competing against the linden frost effect and the mpemba effect, making it resistant to fire. Fire is utilizing more energy to melt ice that is resisting it.

  • I do wish naruto learned a few more wind-style techniques like danzo had. I feel like they missed a good opportunity to give him some more jutsu like that during the time skip. That’s one thing I do like about boruto’s arsenal. (Can’t believe I’m saying that) boruto having gale palm, water release surging sea and lightning arrow. I always wanted naruto to get like air bullet or something.

  • Honestly I think that Earth Style has to be the strongest. Being able to control gravity like the way the third tsuchikage did is too OP. That specific ability just hasn’t been explored enough. Basically all Earth style users technically all have the equivalent of the Deva paths Almighty Push and Universal Pull.

  • The thing about fire style is in the show it melts rocks and leaves craters. The energy/joules required to do that is actually IMENSE. Regular flamethrowers dont melt rocks in real life or leave craters. Firestyle SHOULD be quite feadly. I guess Ninjas in the Naruto verse are simply way more durable than rocks.

  • Fire being at the bottom is sad, but it does seem accurate. The only thing I would change is Wind style vs Lightning style. I think water is far superior to earth, and I think it’s close to wind and lightning, but lightning is used too often in both weak and strong ways, so I think it depends on the user, while wind and water style are not very common, and the average user is more powerful.

  • Also we never really see Wind style overpowering lightning style lile we do with lighting overpowering earth or water overpowering fire. Would jave been cool to see Danzo being a more serious threat to Sasuke and sasuke having ti rely more on fire, or Naruto infusing is rasengans with wind more to overpower a rasengan/chidori clash. Plus lighting cuts almost as well as wind and wind is never relaly show to have any other real advantages unlike lightning which can be defensive via lightning cloaks or even super charge your physical prowess.

  • Forgive me if I am incorrect in my thought here but Suigetsu being weak to lightning style is more of a clan weakness in my mind. Since he is made of water he cant control where the lightning style backlashes. If Zabuza got hit he would suffer normal damage because his body is “normal”. I just could see a smart water style user using there jutsu like a lightning rod if that makes sense and controling the impact more. Pure head cannon but thought it was worth a comment.

  • There was only one time fire style was so much strong in naruto but unfortunately it wasn’t canon I’m talking about Naruto’s movie blood prison Lightning style is much cooler but there is one thing I don’t like about lightning in naruto which in most times it doesn’t the properties of lightning, it only cut but does not give electrical shock in most times

  • Fire style is fantastic for AOE against weak opponents. Lightning is the exact opposite. It’s just we are perusal main characters fight mostly one on one so powerful single target styles seem much better. But a fire ball is drastically better when you have ten enemies to take out instead of chidori which will only take out one

  • I get that you can say fire style sucks but some of these beats you were mentioning are ill place like for instance I’d venture to say usually in Naruto when someone has some type of outer skin it is usually just as if not more durable than their actual skin, secondly that same fire jutsu incinerated the tree and you showed it so to say that skin is not more durable than his natural skin would be a stretch. Secondly in the tuning exam it was clear that he used the Phoenix flower jitsu not to hit anyone but to use it as a tricky jutsu although it didn’t work add venture to say that it’s not because the fire style wasn’t strong but because at this time Sasuke still had on what happened in his village and that severely limited him in his fighting ability. How could I say that and just think about the fight before they meet zabuza when Naruto basically has to save Sasuke’s life because Sasuke froze. Once again in that same tuning exam he said he was saved by Naruto cuz he froze later after hitting or tomorrow once again in that same tuning exam he said he was saved by Naruto cuz he froze later after hitting Orochimaru with that same dragon flame.

  • I think from a meta storytelling perspective, fire style is weak because it’s too powerful. If your character gets hit with an explosive wall of thousand degree flame, they’re gonna die. You can’t have your characters getting scorched in one hit by every attacks, so they never land. On top of that, burn marks are devastating to a character appearance. If you get torched and survive it’s hard to explain why you wouldn’t have permanent burn scars all over your body.

  • The clones took the hit for him 4:52 and (fire style) is made of chakra an with good chakra control to not burn them self and make sure it doesn’t spread, the only reason it doesn’t show in the anime or manga it do damage is because we are showing the Mac’s part, if it was other ninjas, it show real damage to others. You can’t blame it to look weak, in the show¯\\_(ಠ_ಠ)_/¯

  • I think the type advantage/disadvantage system in naruto is very wonky and breaks easily because it makes nearly no sense… Like what was said before that Earth should not have any weakness to Lightning and if anything should be strong against it is an obvious example but another is Earth against Water… Earth being strong against Water makes little sense because there is more Water on the planet and there’s stuff like floods along with over time water weakens rock/the ground… Air also makes little sense as to be strong against Lightning… All that needs fixing is move around Earth and Lighting, Lighting>Water Earth>Lightning Air>Earth

  • 0:37 That’s incredibly incorrect. We have Madara vs the alliance. Sui vs B(it’s directly stated his exact weakness is lightning because Sui is a water human due to his Hiden) We literally saw multiple times earth style being weak to lightning. We also see if i remember Darui mixing lightning and water to electrify his water spout from his mouth. Then there’s LITERALLY SASUKE AND NARUTO MIXING BLAZE & WIND STYLE TO HURT OBITO! Don’t lie my dude

  • The fact that water style has two weaknesses to the other elements being lightning and earth and the fact that the average water user has to have source of water to most of their jutsus drops it below earth to me.kisame carrying it shouldn’t represent the element as a whole nor do is outweigh those two flaws.

  • Fire doesn’t burn in most anime. it’s boring, I hate fire power. Main character in fairy tail only punches people. that’s his power. don’t tell me he has fire power when it doesn’t impact any of his fights. the only thing that burned people in Naruto was the barrier during the 3rd hokage fight with orochimaru

  • Fire would have been much more dangerous because I know from experience.. fire if it’s big enough it don’t even have to hit you if your a little to close the heat coming off a big fire will burn tf out of you, madara majestic, flame destroyer in reality it would have probably burned him up fire doesn’t care who you are and start adding wind with that fire you could melt steel with it

  • I’m surprised you didn’t mention Gaara at all when you talked about earth style He is the best earth user Maybe you think his sand is Kekkei genkai by combination of earth and water but actually it is not It’s wasn’t mentioned in the series that it is a kekkei genkai and Gaara never used wind style in my opinion it is a special form of earth style, like the black lightning jutsu is a special form of lightning style

  • We can chalk a lot of the bad here up to lazy writing. Kishimoto didnt make notes, and frequently changes the rules he makes as he goes. Sometimes Amaterasu spawns on the target, sometimes it travels a path to the target. I just depends on if Kishimoto decided the attack is going to be dodged or not. Amaterasu is supposed to be as hot as the sun, yet it does basically nothing to objects surrounding what is on fire. So, either heat does not radiate in the Narutoverse…..or everything just has a passive heat resistance just below relative to the heat of the sun. Making it completely absurd that any other flame burned anything at any point in the story. But, we know that neither of those things can be true, because Sasuke burned his face learning to use the fireball jutsu. So, we are left scratching our heads because the rules are not applied correctly or with any consistency. While light moves at almost 1 million times faster than sound, light speed characters in Naruto carry on conversations while moving and fighting. Again, absurd. I could continue listing examples, but I think I made my point.

  • Fire Style is the noob version of Particle Style. If someone gets caught in it they’ll probably die, so it never hits anyone. Same thing for any jutsu that has lethal capabilities, they’re always only used effectively to counter another jutsu or to kill a character that’s not important anymore. But because Fire is purely offensive and all its jutsus are lethal, they all need to fail.

  • My two cents about Nature Transformations: I think it’s an important distinction that you’re not creating an element when you attack with a Nature Release; you’re altering your chakra to take on properties of an element. It LOOKS like an element, ACTS like an element, but it’s still fundamentally chakra (that’s why all elements created by a jutsu disappear after the jutsu is done unless it manipulated something that already existed) and it’s gonna interact with things the same way chakra would. Because of that, it’s easier to think of nature transformations as adjectives applied to chakra rather than an element. Making chakra act like water makes flow like a liquid, makes its state easier to alter, and makes it good for applying heavy force because you can’t push back against water like you can against something solid, right? So in the case of Fire Style, what’s good about it is that it spreads really easily. It takes a LOT less chakra to cover a battlefield in Fire than it would Water or Earth, and it retains more solid force than it would if you made it Wind, so it’s a really effective AOE style. The thing is that Fire style isn’t actually Fire, so it won’t really IGNITE what’s hit with it because that would be creating real fire from nothing, but what it does instead is make it FEEL like you’re burning if you’re hit with it. So despite it seeming like Fire Style isn’t doing much external damage, it’s painful for anyone to be in any kind of proximity to Fire Style chakra and will sap their stamina due to the exhaustion of being hurt.

  • What the fuck is gaara element? Like it should be earth but it seems to be a magnetic kekkei genkai? Like that would make sense if it was iron or gold sand but not normal sand? I consider it a kekkei genkai sand release separated from the magnetic release of the previous kazekages gained by being Shukaku jinchuriki kinda like how 7 seven tails jinchu uses polen and 6 tails jinchu uses bubble. Like sure there are tailed beast induced releases that exist without the tailed beast like lava release that 4 tail jinchu has but for example mei terumi also has but i think gaara has an exclusive kekkei genkai that comes from shukaku and is not magnetic kekkei genkai

  • The worst example of how trash fire style is easily when Asuma used burning ash on Hidan. So Hidan used his curse to reflect the damage back at Asuma, so Asuma literally took bodily damage equal to being in the center of that explosion. Yet the worst injury Asuma gets from it is a couple second degree burns. It didn’t even affect his ability to fight as he was still able to charge at Hidan before he got stabbed in the leg. Seriously, why does fire style even exist in this show? It does literally nothing.

  • These elements are not real elements. It’s not real water, or real fire, real whatever. It’s chakra manifested or powered elements. Therefore, they will not behave the same way as real water, real fire, etc. Proof: fire doesn’t burn things, earth is weak to fire, wind cut stuff, and so on. They don’t obey natural laws, they obey chakra laws

  • To be fair your fire strike analysis was kinda flawed. Most of those cases you mentioned have a legit reason for why fire style didn’t work. For the Haku situation you can say that Hakus ice isn’t regular ice. Its a kekke genkai. Its infused with chakra, making it stronger. With the Naruto and Sasuke fight. Naruto created a shit ton of clones. He could’ve had clones cover him while him and his clone made a rasengan. And with the Orochimaru one, we have no idea how durable the skin is on orochimaru at that time. The only time his face peeled was during that fight with sasuke, when he took it off himself during the chunin exams, and when he got blitz by 3 tailed Naruto.

  • Fire is just dumb in anime, be ause when it isnt, things like jogo massacre hsppens, look at maki after that. Most animes wouldn’t go as far. Thinin fairy tail, the protsgonsit uses fire and it never burns anyone, he punches people with fire in his hsnd and thats it, believe thst the fire was really impoetant on thst punch.

  • I think the worst part about Haku saying that Sasuke’s fire style wasn’t hot enough to melt the ice mirrors is that it implies there’s hotter flames that we may get to see melt ice later. And everything was set up to do this. Amaterasu would’ve been that flame or possibly a blaze release. With the fourth great ninja war they could’ve brought back Haku or ass-pulled a clan member of his or even made a non-canon/filler event based on this foreshadow

  • My guess 5. Water cause it takes a lot of chakra to create 4. Earth great defensively but is out classed by good taijutsu or anything that can smash boulders 3. Fire great offensively but fire in anime is generally just there to look cool 2. Wind because it has a lot of potential but wasn’t utilized often enough 1. Lightning because it could do everything

  • Honestly, I think Kishimoto BS’d earth being weak against lightning just for the Sasuke vs Deidara. How the hell is earth weak to lightning? Type advantage with just one word that makes sense: Water quenches Fire Wind fans Fire Wind erodes Earth Earth grounds Lightning (the science checks out, grounding is the modern solution to electrical accidents) Lightning electrocute Water Kishimoto’s BS logic: Water quenches Fire Wind fans Fire Wind ? Lightning (what? grounding works based on density. So even water is better against lightning than wind!) Lightning ? Earth Earth absorbs Water? (But water also erodes so it should balance out to a neutral interaction)
