Just wanted to say (and I’ve only seen gifs because Im a slow watcher lol but had to find out how every went) AND OH MY GOD IM SO BROKEN 😭😭😭💔 Aziraphale crying Crowley basically saying goodbye that kiss was fierce and tbh I love angst so I ate it up BUT we need to stream s2 EVERYDAY my comrades because we have to see our ineffable husbands happy 😭😇😈
So. I purposefully avoided everything GO2 in an effort to go in completely blind to it – and when that scene hit, HOLY SHIT. I did not think they would actually go there and I was blown out of the water completely! What a finale. I know now about the leak, but I did get to go into the season without knowing anything outside of the trailers and I am so glad I did and I am hopeful that other people do too because it is so rewarding to live that moment not knowing it’s coming. Kudos to Neil and the team and Sheen and Tennant especially for an amazing job.
I understand that this fuck-up made by Amazon is saddening to Neil Gaiman and the whole team working on the show, and I do understand their wishes to not watch the leak and get into the viewing experience without spoilers… but I’m sorry. I’m weak. I couldn’t help myself! And honestly? I’m gonna love perusal Good Omens S2 even more, now that I’ve seen it. And I guess there are more like-minded people out there. I don’t mind spoilers. Especially when it’s about spoilers LIKE THAT x) I hope it’s gonna be in the show. That would be the only reason for me not to love it even more 😀
It sucks that the info was put out unintentionally. But if I’m being honest? I got quite scared perusal the first interviews with David and Michael that we were going to be queerbaited like we did by other screenwriters and producers. I will be a lot less anxious now when S2 comes out and I can watch it with my boyfriend.
