Which Tarot Card Represents Duke Mengei?

Duke Bune is a powerful demon in demonology known for his ability to create wealth and abundance. He is associated with the zodiac sign Leo, metal gold, and the plant orange. Bune appears as a dragon with three heads, one like a dog, one as a bird, and the other as a man with black eyes. He is a shade gatherer under the form of Bime.

Bune’s energies resonate harmoniously with the zodiac sign Taurus, as the bull’s tenacity and determination align with Bune’s propensity for adversity. Tarot, runes, or intuitive nudges can be used to work with Bune. Advanced practitioners may consider sigil echoing, where the hour of Venus is chosen for rituals.

Duke Bune is listed in demonological grimoires such as the Lesser Key of Solomon and Johann Weyer’s Pseudomonarchia. She is beginner-friendly and appears easily, works fast, and enjoys building a strong connection with others.

Duke Boone, the 26th spirit in the Lesser Key of Solomon, governs 30 legions of spirits. Bune is a day demon and governs 30 legions of spirits, with an associated color of green and sandalwood incense. BWC Services to Bune include Demon-A-Day, Demon-A-Day, and Demonic Enn.

  • Great review and interesting cards. I love the detail of the illustrations and how they match the Medieval or later styles. Though I would find them difficult to read for myself or others 🙂 The book may be necessary to have to read the cards correctly as well. It pisses me off to see Chinese illegally copying, printing then selling this and the other decks on legit internationally available stores (for the same price or 50% less) then the legit stores accepting such deals! Artists always had a hard time making money then copyright and ideas thieves come in to make it even more difficult for them. Even if I, a reader report a copyright infringement, eBay or Amazon don’t care because I’m not the copyright owner. It’s a problem of many artists who created their decks and we can’t even help them.

  • Quite a pretty deck, but indeed not really functional as a tarot deck. I personally find “Goetia. Tarot in Darkness” released byLo Scarabeo a much more workable deck. The spelling in some of the cards isn’t necessarily wrong. Many demons have multiple spellings of their name. I know at least 3 version of Astaroth name. The author probably picked the version of the name he connected with the most. Some other symbols on the cards do make me raise a eyebrow to why their there. I mean, why is the Sumerian cuneiform symbol too indicate a ‘god’ on the Azazel card. It doesn’t make much sense to me to have that there. It’s just so random and out of place.
