What is the No 1 Tarot card?

The Magician, also known as The Magus or The Juggler, is the first trump or Major Arcana card in traditional tarot decks, used for game playing and divination. In the occult context, the trump cards are recontextualized as the Major Arcana and given complex esoteric meaning. In this context, the Magician is interpreted as the first numbered and second total card of the Major Arcana, succeeding the Fool. In French, Le Bateleur, also known as “the mountebank” or “sleight of hand artist”, is a practitioner of stage magic.

In Italian tradition, he is called Il Bagatto or Il Bagatello. The Mantegna Tarocchi image of the Magician is labeled Artixano, the Artisan, and is the second lowest in the series. 18th-century woodcuts of the Magician reflect earlier iconic representations and can be compared to free artistic renditions in 15th-century hand-painted tarots.

What is the luckiest card in the Tarot?

The Wheel of Fortune card, part of the Major Arcana, is a symbol of destiny, fortune, success, elevation, luck, and felicity. It is often depicted in a six- or eight-spoked wheel, often attended by an individual dressed in an Egyptian-style headdress. In some decks, such as the AG Müller, the wheel is also attended by an individual wearing a blindfold. The wheel is not always inscribed with any lettering, but the letters T-A-R-O (clockwise) or T-O-R-A (counter clockwise) can be found aligned against four of the spokes, which can also be interpreted as R-O-T-A, the Latin word meaning “wheel”.

In some decks, such as the Waite, the wheel is inscribed with additional alchemical symbols representing the four elements: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. These emblems can also be seen on the Magician’s table in the Magician card (Card I).

How do I find my personal tarot card?

To find your birth card, add the digits of your full birthdate together to find your first card number. For example, if you were born on June 26, 1996, you would have 39 digits. Then, add the digits of your first birth card together to reveal your second card number. Compare your card numbers with a list of major arcana tarot cards to find your birth cards. Tarot birth cards are a combo of 2 or 3 major arcana tarot cards that reveal special insights and truths about your personality and life journey.

There are 12 sets of 2-3 card sets in total, similar to 12 different star signs in astrology. Each set highlights unchanging elements of your personality and how you journey through life. Tarot birth cards are calculated using numerology rather than a range of dates.

How to pick a tarot deck for yourself?

To choose your first Tarot card deck, consider the following factors:

  1. Theme: Choose a theme that resonates with your interests and beliefs. For example, if you enjoy Fairy Tale, Egyptian Mythology, Greek Mythology, or Pagan/Wiccan themes, you can find numerous results on Amazon. com.

  2. Pictures: Look at the pictures on the cards themselves to ensure they make sense to you. If you feel connected with most of the pictures in the deck, it’s likely that it makes sense intuitively. You can search for the deck’s name on Google Image Search, scroll through Instagram using the hashtag of the deck name, or watch YouTube for reviews or flip-through videos.

  3. Minor Cards: There are typically two styles of pictures in Tarot cards: Rider-Waite-Smith style and Thoth style. Rider-Waite-Smith style is easier to learn with, as the pictures make more sense to beginners. On the other hand, Thoth style is more difficult to learn with, as the Major Arcana cards follow similar imagery rules in keeping with their themes.

In summary, choosing your first Tarot card deck by yourself involves considering the theme, pictures, minor cards, and the Minor Cards. By following these tips, you can create a well-rounded and enjoyable Tarot deck experience.

How do I find the best tarot deck for me?

The representation of people in tarot cards is a topic of debate, with traditional decks like Rider Waite Smith often leaving little room for people of color (POC), queer people, and those with rebellious bodies. This lack of diversity can be beneficial for personal development and for those planning to read for others. While there are growing numbers of diverse decks, it is still not the norm to see a wide diversity of people in cards. Some readers prefer “people-free” tarot decks, such as those with animals or other beings as characters.

Asali’s Tarot, on the QTPOC list, is a good resource for those seeking decent POC and/or queer/genderqueer representation. The Little Red Tarot Shop offers collections of diverse tarot decks to explore. It is important to be aware of who is visually represented in your tarot deck to make an informed choice.

What do the tarot cards tell you?

Tarot cards are not fortune-telling but coaching tools for personal discovery and self-care. They highlight past experiences, validate current situations, and suggest future possibilities. Tarot provides a glimpse into the energetic landscape, allowing individuals to make the best decisions for themselves moving forward. It offers agency, not prophecies. Interest in tarot, along with astrology and numerology, has grown significantly in recent years, with social media providing a surge of divinatory and personal growth content.

However, learning to read tarot cards can be daunting due to the vast literature and rules surrounding the art form. Rachel Howe, a Brooklyn-based artist, Reiki healer, and tarot reader, believes that anyone can read tarot, and the rules have been used in the past to protect the art form. Now, anyone can read tarot, making it an appealing and healthy way to gain a stronger sense of personal agency.

Can you do a tarot reading for yourself?

Tarot readings can be done by beginners, providing insight into current situations, honoring intuition, and forecasting potential outcomes. To begin, clean the energy of your space by burning herbs, ringing bells or chimes, taking a bath, or using crystals. A Selenite wand is a popular energy refresher that aids clarity.

Sit comfortably and close your eyes, focusing on the protective energy surrounding you. Take deep breaths, think about your question or needing guidance, and keep your mind and heart open to the answers that may come through the cards. Shuffle the deck, focusing on your desired query, and shuffle the cards in front of you. The pattern laid out is called a “spread”, and the meaning of each card in combinations builds up to the overall answer to your query.

Before beginning to shuffle, know which spread you will be working with. As answers come through, it’s important to draw additional cards for further clarity or start with a new question from a different perspective. Tarot readings can be a powerful tool for personal growth and understanding.

  • 4 here. The “princess and the frog” favorite phrase: “I may not have all I want but I have all I need.” In this way, Tiana is released from the black magic trap and see chooses love instead of “her dream”. Because she realized she wouldn’t be happy without her happy-go-lucky prince and that attachment to even a luscious dream can lead us astray from our Dharma path…

  • Oh Em Gee! Thank you for this reading. Pile 3 was EXACTLY what I needed and the perfect reminder after a beautiful conversation with a friend yesterday. I’m a recovering people pleaser and learning to see myself, put myself first and work through the guilt and shame I have felt all my life to release myself from the chains of my former self so I can grow, expand and evolve. My voice matters. I matter. What I want matters. I pray that whoever is going thru a similar journey is able to release the energy, thoughts, feelings and expectations that are no longer aligned with who they are evolving into. 🙏🏾💙

  • 😳🥺🥺🥺😦 Celtic Fae I am sending you the biggest hug, and if I’m proof that you do in fact know just how to make a grown man cry (I’m sending your dude a huge fam hug too) maaaaaan this reading had gotten me emotional from just by your intro before you laid the cards out, and then things on my end got so heavy I’m literally pausing to message you and catch a breathe… every card you pulled was very significant to me right down to every movie, it was a mixture of my favorite movies as a child and the ones I liked in my adult life You picked quotes that were my favorite in each one as well, my trauma bonding and narcissistic entire fathers side of the family (which I was close to but they molded the dark side of what grew as I got older that I was left to fix and heal in my adult life and did) had resonated as you talked about it… and the inner child card was when everything poured out, cus I did stop painting at the age when they all broke my heart the most and at that age I almost had to turn away from me and what filled my soul to raise me and help raise my baby sister at the time…. but after so much work both internal and out, after SO MUCH work in Healing and literally finding myself again amidst the chaos, my entire world just shifted. The karmic wounds, both mine and my entire lineage got the attention and healing it all needed…. and now I’m not only painting again; I am a self-made entrepreneur, an Artist who does websiteed paintings in hopes I can help others heal as well, I work heavily now with mental health awareness (because as You have also said plenty of times: I am not a licensed Physician BUT I am also in fact a Survivor of 3 very narcissistic relationships 1 being an ex wife and her 5 children who literally took the cake and broke me to my core but started my movement of change), and I also am a Coach and Counselor for middle school children in a program that literally covers ALL OF CALIFORNIA.

  • I’ve been struggling financially, ever since I quit my moving job. I was guided to start a mentoring business; but of course things don’t always take off right away. I’m torn between building my YouTube website demonstrating telekinesis, writing my first book on Self-Mastery, making a living as best I can while trying to find a way to market my skills; and in the meantime, I keep having this recurring idea of learning how to sell things that I find, online. I’ve always been one of those people who finds something interesting or even super useful, like an over the range microwave… and take it home, clean it up, and learn how to use it. I love doing this. My friend was good at selling things online. He used to find these swivel office chairs – high end, in dumpsters, and be able to sell them anywhere from $50 – $400. I want to do that. I know if I sell BIGGER items… or bigger TICKET items… I don’t have to sell AS OFTEN. Once while I was working as a waiter at TGI Fridays, I was told that it’s just as easy to sell a battleship, as it is a pen. I don’t know if I believe that; but if the mechanics of selling are pretty much the same… why would I run around picking up little items that go for little amounts of money; rather than spending maybe a month on something that would pay me a whole month’s worth of expenses? It just doesn’t make sense. I want to learn what sells well; and learn the process so that I can make it become a kind of habit. I’ve done that with other complicated things like putting together my YouTube website.

  • I just had a dear friend die from a brown recluse 🕷 bite and another went to the ER for multiple bites to neck and face. I am at my most abundant right now and I am Blessed and Thankful🎉 I have seen many spiders lately no matter where I am even in patients homes i work in ❤ I can’t let them get bitten😢 but I am a healer❤
