Disney has announced that MagicBand+ will be available at Disneyland Resort in 2022, eight years after the 2013 launch of MagicBands in Disney World. Magic Key Holders, DVC, and Cast Members will have early access to the MagicBand+, which will go on sale on October 19 for select groups. To maximize your MagicBand+ experience, link your band to your Disneyland app, allowing guests to set color schemes and adjust motion recognition.
No specific launch date was provided on September 20, 2022, but Disney Parks has confirmed that MagicBand+ will be arriving at Disneyland Resort for guests Fall 2022.
