The Tarot of Mystical Moments is an 83-card Tarot deck that evokes a surreal world of beauty and imagination. It is rooted in feminine energy and includes five extra cards for female versions. The deck evokes a fantasy dollhouse or reveries from one inside a Victorian Era lunatic asylum, with three of the cards featuring women. The Smith-Waite Tarot Deck was a significant influence on the creation of this deck.
The Tarot of Mystical Moments features gilded edged cards and a 96-page guidebook with upright and reversed meanings. Out of the 83 cards, 12 are men, with three also having women in the picture. A tarot card reading can help readers dig deeper, uncover the root cause of their situation, offer action steps, and show the future.
Catrin Welz-Stein created this deck, which is a stunningly gorgeous and highly-detailed art. The deck is large but not unmanageable, and the creator suggests removing the additional five cards before a reading. The Oracle of Mystical Moments is an excellent deck for self-development due to its dream-like qualities.
Readers can customize the deck by choosing which cards to include in their readings. The Tarot of Mystical Moments is available in stock and is a great resource for self-development.

Are tarot cards mysticism?
Tarot cards, originally used by Italian nobles and aristocrats as playing cards, evolved into a cornerstone of mysticism and spiritual exploration. They were initially used for skill, strategy, and luck in a game called “tarocchi”. However, they also had hidden potential for unraveling life’s mysteries, divining the future, and exploring the human psyche. Italy played a significant role in this transformation, with the Visconti-Sforza deck, created in the mid-15th century for the Duke of Milan, being one of the earliest surviving tarot decks. The deck’s intricate imagery and symbolism hint at a deeper, more mystical purpose, yet to be fully revealed.
What is a mystical moment?
The second James criterion refers to a noetic quality, where mystical experiences provide insight into depths of truth unobstructed by the discursive intellect. These revelations are illuminations, revelations, full of significance and importance, and carry a curious sense of authority. The author’s revelation was instantaneous and convincing, and it has been axiomatic that good ideas are the best guide to reality, and vice versa. This idea has precedents, dating back to Pythagoras and Plato, who had mystical intuitions.
The triumph of Newton’s celestial mechanics has amplified these hopes through various miracles. Eugene Wigner, who demonstrated the power of mathematical symmetry in quantum theory, wrote a famous essay in 1960, “The Unreasonable Effectiveness of Mathematics in the Natural Sciences”, stating that the language of mathematics is a wonderful gift that we should be grateful for and hope for its validity in future research.
What happens in a tarot reading session?
The session begins with the reader picking 10 cards from a pack, followed by discussions about the cards. The reader gets lost in the system, as she uses other cards from her pack of 100. The reader is shocked by the accuracy of the psychic’s predictions, as she shares details about their past that are impacting them now. They didn’t give any clues or information about their past, only knowing their first name. The session is personal and frightening, but the reader remains uncertain about how they could have been so accurate.
What is mystical movement?
Mysticism, a term with Ancient Greek origins, refers to the pursuit of union with the Absolute, the Infinite, or God. It can encompass various forms of ecstasy, altered states of consciousness, and human transformation. The term has historically defined the biblical, liturgical, spiritual, and contemplative dimensions of early and medieval Christianity. In the early modern period, mysticism encompassed a broad range of beliefs and ideologies related to extraordinary experiences and states of mind.
In modern times, mysticism has gained a limited definition, aiming for the union with the Absolute, the Infinite, or God, and has been applied to various religious traditions and practices, valuing “mystical experience” as a key element. This limited definition has been applied to a wide range of religious traditions and practices, emphasizing the importance of mystical experiences in mysticism.
What is a mystical emotion?
Inner recollection is essential for overcoming distractions and focusing on a different relationship with ourselves and the world. These feelings, which are absent from everyday life and temporarily release from our egocentric perspective, can motivate a process of self-transformation towards a mystical state of mind. This state is profound and enduring, transcending ourselves in the face of the universe and relativizing our affective involvement.
It is a feeling of unity, love, joy, and peace of mind, shaping and restricting possibilities and forming an altered sense of what it means to be real. Mystical feelings can be classified as existential feelings, but they differ from typical existential feelings as they are positive, involve active and passive moments, and require an explicit way of attending to the world. With over 25 million members, 160 million publication pages, and 2. 3 billion citations, the mystical state of mind is a unique and valuable aspect of self-transformation.

What to say before reading cards?
To effectively use tarot cards, ask open-ended questions and keep an open mind. The goal is to gain a new perspective and see yourself or a situation more clearly. To do this, relax and trust your own wisdom. Tarot is a tool to facilitate talking about things, so use language and knowledge that you already have to see it as a tool to facilitate talking about things. Should one wish to do so, one may also choose to articulate a general message of intent. The process should not be based on a specific question, but rather on a general message of intent.
Should you pull a tarot card daily?
One method of establishing a practice of tarot is to pull a card each morning and record one’s thoughts and reflections on it in a journal. Additionally, touching the cards may prove advantageous. Chatty is a perfect word to describe this deck….I had the exact same impression. Literally the first time I pulled cards from it, it was like messages just started FLYING out. Absolutely has become a favorite for me, but I haven’t felt called to use it for anyone other than me yet because I love it so much I’m not prepared to share it yet! 😆 Maybe I’ll get there, we’ll see 😊💖💖💖
I just bought this deck. I opened it last night and it’s stunning! I normally don’t like glossy cardstock, however it’s very suited to this deck with the silver edges. It shuffles beautifully. I appreciate a that gives you a card when you ask for it and you don’t have to pull the card. I can sit and stare at these cards for a very long time. The art is intriguing and magical. It has a Alice in Wonderland feel. 🐌🐛🦋🐞🕷️
Sooo agree with what you were saying about the Shaman’s Dream oracle. I was so excited initially about the deck as a “companion” to the Mystical Shaman Oracle, because I get along so well with that deck. And I think what makes it work are the contributors coming through strongly with the background and wisdom of the cards and what they represent, and Collette was just the vehicle in making it happen, if that makes sense. But the Shaman’s Dream lacks….shamanism to me. It doesn’t feel like it has as much depth. I mean, as an example, the Cat-erpillar card. That is a cute and lovely pun…but it doesn’t feel sacred like a Shaman deck should (in my opinion). I think you’re right in that Collette’s lens and experiences came through and influenced this deck more. And there’s nothing wrong with that, it just didn’t resonate with me.
I feel the same way about Oracle of Mystical Moments….. just never felt attracted to it. When the Tarot of Mystical Moments came out I figured I wouldn’t like it either, but when I saw photos of it online I decided to give it a try and I’m so glad I did! I absolutely love it. I got it in January and I’ve been using it pretty regularly. I’m finding it’s a beautiful deck for Spring! Love how it paired with the Stacey DeMarco deck! I’m going to give that a try!
I was so excited when I got the notification for a new article and it was on this particular deck! It’s the one I’m currently working with and one I absolutely adore 🙂 I agree with everything you said about it right down to not vibing with the oracle deck (though I wanted to). This deck if one of my all time favorites! As for pairings I’ve been having a lot of fun with soul cards 1 & 2 recently, not sure if thats one you’d be interested in trying. I find the lack of labels/definitions really helps especially with such intuitive decks as Mystical Moments partnered with the framework/context of ones question. Otherwise it’s definitely just fine flying solo 🙂
I like Oracle of Mystical Moments and I love Tarot of Mystical Moments. In the back of it’s tarot guide book is a 4 card spread which prompts- may pull a 5th & 6th card…or pull a 5th & 6th card from Oracle of Mystical Moments. Well… the additional tarot cards fell flat while (I tried other way) and the oracle cards were spot on… so spot on, I wanted to share. Thank you, Lise! I love your energy, vitality, and pace you share as you are reviewing decks & lore !! 🤍💛❤️💙💚
Wonderful article Lisa! First of all, I love your lush setting with the beautiful patterned material, the crystals and the chunky candle. (Was there a crystal just barley visible sitting at the middle top of the screen? Can you tell me what it is? The colors really attracted me, purples and greens I think.) I love the Tarot of Mystical Moments. I think I’m going to have to get it. Your pairings with the two Colette Baron-Reid Oracle decks were perfect. I have Wisdom of the Oracle and I love it. I also want to say that you share such interesting observations and comments on your articles. They really expand my mind. 🥰
Oh my…confession: I have been going back and forth with this and your walkthrough of this deck from three months ago for over a week now! Haha! I wasn’t particularly attracted to this deck at first, but after after seeing it again in your article (as recommended by Youtube), I finally caved in and ordered it. I love your articles and how you articulate so well the meanings and symbolisms. 💜 New subscriber! Thank you!!
I ADORE this deck! I did a comparison of all my decks for a #22faves thing and Mystic Moments came out top three in almost all the cards. I agree the Hierophant is hands down my favourite Hierophant and the Fool is my favourite fool as well. My daughter watched me whilst I chose and she said it was her favourite out of all of my decks.
I just got the deck and started working with it. I love the imagery and also the backs of the cards. But it hasn’t given me the best readings…mostly confusing ones. (It could be because I’m new to tarot and can’t quite figure it out or I’m asking questions in the wrong way). The deck might also need to be cleansed again. Or I might have to rehome it. But I’ll give it some more time before I do that I think.
Hi, so this is my favorite teradek right now I just love love love love love it! My favorite Oracle deck right now is Healers of the earth Oracle by Mandy Peterson, I work with these two decks together like I’ve never had two decks pair so well together, I highly highly suggest to everyone to try this pairing.
Glad to hear you love it! The art is pretty. I’ve watched many articles on this deck but still it leaves me unmoved. I don’t have any fantasy art decks or fairy decks or anything like that. Just not my thing. It’s funny you showed the Queen of the Moon Oracle. I got that one a few months ago and I’ve already put it in the “leaving the island” box….LOL
Funny at 14:12 in Stacey DeMarco’s deck, you said something like, “did I say Wisdom of the oracle was my favorite pairing? Can I change my answer?” that was the Wisdom card, which has a subtitle “Waning gibbous 6” and to its left was the 7 of Swords, and to its right the 8 of Wands. Great article as always, love seeing your explanation of how you use oracle and tarot decks together.
I do wish the cards were smaller and matte, but I love the images. I’m not great at using oracles at all so I haven’t bothered with pairings; the deck works just fine on its own and really gets you thinking about new spins on the meanings of the cards. Like a much more vibrant Dreamkeeper’s Tarot (which I also love). Thanks for your article!
I can’t get warm with this deck at all. I have CWS artwork hanging on my wall for years and wished she would do a deck even before she knew she would. Got very excited about it but the more I saw the less sense the images made. I find about 30% straight up confusing, like the 6ofC looks straight like the 2ofC and it’s not the only one. I actually think she doesn’t have a good grasp on the tarot at all and sacrificed the interpretation for freedom of artistic expression. It is like she had to follow the RWS but at the same time had to squeeze her art/style into it, that’s why I call this deck a wannabe RWS. But I am really well acquainted with her artwork, maybe for people that are new to it, it is easier. A lot of the cards you pointed out as good, I would argue that the interpretation in the image is quite limited, focusing on a very particular meaning of the card lacking versatility of interpretation and making it difficult to make card pairings. So I see a series of beautiful images rather than cards speaking to each other. Maybe it works better in spreads than in open style readings. But there are a couple of good cards in there. I prefer to see her art on my wall than on my table.
Hi Nova 😊 this is a great idea for a tag.. I really enjoy perusal other people actually read their cards, I always think we as a community should do more of it. Those decks went so well together. It would be great to see you read with a deck that uses a different system like the wildwood or even lenormand. Really enjoyed this 💕💫
Love this article format! The Oracle deck you picked, paired so well with the Tarot. I find that the Wisdom of the Oracle pairs really well with the MMT too! Please continue doing this series! 🌸 Would you consider doing a reading with an animal themed Tarot deck next? I often struggle with those. Also if you have The Slavic Legends Tarot could you do an Oracle pairing article with it? 🤍 Btw I love your voice .. it is so soothing! 😊
This was great. As an INFP, and mars in Gemini, and mercury in Pisces, and chronic depression, it is no wonder why I struggle with decisions and regrets and memories of the past. So, therefore, this reading spoke to me, plus I love these two deck. I can’t think of another deck I want you to use, but I’m sure it will be wonderful. ❤
