What is the treatise of the seven rays?
“A Treatise on the Seven Rays” is a series of five books that explore the nature and quality of the seven basic energy streams in our solar system, planet, and all living beings within its orbit. Psychology, once considered a branch of metaphysics, now includes all conditioning subjective factors, such as mental and emotional impulses and soul contact, as psychological influences. The “psyche” is the human soul, the center of consciousness, and esoteric psychology begins with the human being as a soul manifesting in a personality consisting of mental, emotional, and physical substance.
From this perspective, evolution is the evolution of consciousness, where the imbedded fragment of the soul within the personality progressively identifies its spiritual source and becomes at-one with it.

What are the 7 rays in astrology?
The Chaldean Oracles of the 2nd century AD and Mithraic liturgy both feature the seven rays as purifying agents of Helios. In the 4th century, Emperor Julian Saturnalia composed a Hymn to the Solemn Sun, discussing “unspeakable mysteries hidden from the crowd”. In Greek Gnostic magic, colored gemstones were used as talismans for medicine or healing, often engraved with a symbol borrowed from the Egyptian deity Chnuphis, a hooded serpent or great snake.
The snake was shown with a lion’s head, emanating either twelve or seven rays, representing the zodiac and planets. These talismans were known as “Gnostic amulets” and sometimes also engraved with the names Iao Sabao (the Archon Iao).
In early Christian iconography, the dove of the Holy Ghost is often shown with an emanation of seven rays, as is the image of the Madonna. The Monastery of St. Catherine on Mount Sinai shows the Transfiguration of Christ in the apse mosaic, with “seven rays of light shining from the luminous body of Christ over the apostles Peter, James and John”. In the present-day Byzantine-style St. Louis Cathedral in Missouri, the center of the sanctuary has an engraved circle with many symbols of the Holy Trinity.
Saint Norbert of Xanten, founder of the Order of Canons Regular of Prémontré, discovered the spot where the relics of Saint Ursula and her companions lay hidden in a dream, guided by “the seven rays of light. surrounding the head of the crucified Redeemer”.
What is the rarest pattern in astrology?
The Grand Cross, or Grand Square, is a rare natal chart aspect in astrology where four personal planets are separated by 90 degrees on the birth chart, forming a square shape and cross. Each of the four elements of astrology is represented in this cross, with all signs sharing the same modality. The Grand Cross’s energy is conflicting due to the tense and oppositional square aspect, which can create difficulties for the native. This is particularly relevant for those in the Angular, Cadent, or Succedent Houses, as squares and oppositions can create difficulties in finding love.
What are the colors of the 7 rays?
The color analysis of the Seven Rays reveals that Ray 1 represents Will or Power, Ray 2 represents Love-Wisdom, and Ray 3 represents Active Intelligence. The model based on additive color mixing, which involves combining different intensities of red, green, and blue light, is used to create colors. The higher expressions of the derivative rays can be hypothesized using this theory, with Red representing Will or Power, Indigo-Blue representing Love-Wisdom, and Green representing Active Intelligence.
What is the rosary of the seven rays?
The Ray Rosary is a spiritual tool that uses the hands to receive angelic aid and attunement to the Seven Rays. It has seven decades, each corresponding to the Seven Joys of Mary. Each Joy corresponds to one of the Seven Rays, which flows through the ray crosses and ray candles in the Liturgy of The Liberal Catholic Church. The Deaconess, Rabecca Collin, creates each Ray Rosary with 8mm Czech fire-polished glass beads and a cross with the risen Lord. The Rosary is blessed by a priest and placed on the altar during Holy Eucharist.
What does 7 mean spiritually?
In numerology, the number 7 is associated with the Greek deity Athena and the Roman deity Minerva. These figures are regarded as wise, insightful, intuitive, truthful, introspective, and intellectual beings associated with this number.
What are the colors of Theosophy?
Theosophists postulated the existence of thought-forms, or colorful auras, which they believed could move through space. The color yellow was associated with the highest degree of intellectual capacity, while dark purple was linked to a sense of devotion and affection. In contrast, bright blue was thought to indicate a pure religious sentiment.
Why is the number 7 so powerful?
The Pythagoreans, in classical antiquity, believed that numbers had unique spiritual properties, particularly the number seven. This number, which is the natural number following 6 and preceding 8, is the only prime number preceding a cube. It has significant symbolic associations in religion, mythology, superstition, and philosophy. The seven classical planets resulted in seven being the number of days in a week. In Western culture, 7 is considered lucky, while in Vietnamese culture, it is sometimes considered unlucky.
In early Brahmi numerals, 7 was written as a curve with an uppercase ⟨J⟩ vertically inverted (ᒉ). The western Arab peoples contributed to making the longer line diagonal rather than straight, while the eastern Arab peoples developed the digit from a form similar to 6 to one resembling an uppercase V. Both modern Arab forms influenced the European form, which consisted of a two-stroke form with a horizontal upper stroke joined at its right to a stroke going down to the bottom left corner.
The Cham and Khmer digit for 7 also evolved to look like their digit 1, but in a different way. For the Khmer, this often involved adding a horizontal line to the top of the digit. This horizontal stroke is important to distinguish the glyph for seven from the glyph for one in writing.
What is the 3 mystery of the Rosary?
The Rosary has five decades, each corresponding to one mystery. There are three sets of five mysteries: Joyful Mysteries, Sorrowful Mysteries, and Glorious Mysteries. The Joyful Mysteries are Monday and Thursday, and Sundays from 1st Sunday of Advent until Lent. They include the Annunciation to Mary, Visitation of Mary, Birth of Jesus Christ, Presentation of the Child Jesus in the Temple, and Finding of Our Lord in the Temple.
Is believing in astrology against God?
In Matthew 28:18, Jesus asserts that all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to him. This contradicts biblical wisdom, as chasing after false gods is a sin. There is no biblical evidence that God has given authority to stars or astrologists. Pursuing predictions about our destiny or personality is biblically sinful, as it takes power from God and gives it to something other than God. A horoscope cannot change what God has already ordained before we were even created.
An amazing article, its one of the best presented articles on a very wide spectrum. …topic lol. I used to be skeptical until i tried and applied esoteric astrology and was shocked at how accurate it was and have been a firm believer in it ever since . The 7 rays are extremely interesting and complex as well !! Wonderful article thank you . Philip i love your 7 root races “hidden history of mankind” an incredible piece of research, brilliant. Id like to thank everyone from the morya federation as well, great people doing exceptional work. What a treat this was thank you very much.
Incredible! Beautiful! What an an inspiring vision of humanity, our individual selves and their unlimited potential and all of the great beings in the cosmos. Makes me excited to be here at this amazing time! What a dear privilege to contribute even a small amount to the awakening of our brothers and sisters. Oh to be witness here now! 💝
Thank you. I find your work incredibly inspiring. Much of what you talk about eg the evolution of consciousness resonates with me strongly. The inclusion of the 7 rays as part of the esoteric astrology framework including the element of initiation makes perfect sense from an evolutionary point of view given everything is energy/frequency . I’m interested in your thoughts regarding the spiritual alchemic process and how this relates to esoteric astrology eg transmutation of lower consciousness to higher levels of consciousness (forming the ‘great work’ of humanity), the unfolding of Christ consciousness (or the philosopher’s stone) and also progression through stages of initiation. If we can accept that much of our true spiritual nature has been ignored (or misunderstood) then perhaps not so difficult to accept that other esoteric/occult practises have also been misinterpreted (eg true esoteric alchemy)?? Just a thought. Thank you.
I watched the hidden history of humainty on youtube. Blown my mind. Since iv had find out everything about the programme and yourself Mr Lyndsey. Eye opening but also seemed to open knowledge what was there all my life searching.. Yes thankyou for you work and look forward to looking more into your progect..
Loved the Hercules & Hydra Story! Relished the interpretation. Only part I wish he would have included was where Hercules’s Teacher, Chiron, gave instruction to his pupil before he set off on his quest… “We rise by kneeling, conquer by surrendering, and gain by giving up.” Wise words indeed, in regards to the shadow!
Thank you so much for this amazing informative article, what explains the esoteric meaning connection and duality with our souls and personalities. I found the missing link for my difficult journey and have know the AHAAA…………. my karmic patterns and lessons are making sense and I recognize as Aries Ray 1 and 7 very well and finish my Karma in the 12 house……
Thank you all so much for the brilliant insights into this unknown area of astrology. I have a question for Phillip Lindsay. What avenue of mediation is one to follow? If religions are all, under the rule of the Draconians, where does one turn to for spirituality? I truly would appreciate some feedback to this question as I feel that the Path that I have been on is probably reptillian at it’s foundation.
Circa 20:45 into this article there is an uncredited/untitled image of the Gnostic Circle (the enneagram and zodiac shown together) by Patrizia Norelli-Bachelet, taken from the 1975 book ‘The Gnostic Circle’. I mention this for two reasons. One because the image should not be used without the copyright holders permission; and two because any viewers who want to understand what this image is should be able to go to the source to read about the gnosis it contains.
This was quite the amazing documentary. I’ve been studying traditional astrology for quite some time now. I’m a 12th house 27°45″ cancer Sun, 29° cancer rising. This documentary helped me understand some deeper truths that my soul has been craving to explore. I will be working towards integrating the 7 rays of light into my practices.
If one means that it takes three days for a newborn for your possible very old soul to enter, how does one then calculate ones numbers, how about when birth date and your name conflicts in the number it gives, i have tried many systems but they give much random answers, but which is first important, birth or name?
Practical application to man? Was there a time when instead of random mating creating utter chaos, a culture, perhaps the ones all of this is handed down from, understood the importance of what you are describing. If so could they plan along lines of probability the progeny the breeding produced in accordance to what the society was needing. Artists, mathematician’s, etc. Generations of purposed births maturing into knowing who they are and most passionate towards their labors, loving what they do. Compared to what wonders this earth today, lost, depressed, weary minded looking for constant escape as ones wallet will afford.
