  • According to Glassdoor, your company pays a production worker around 25k to 29k a year or about 11 to 15 an hour. Maybe bump that up to 17 or 18 an hour and people wouldn’t leave. There is something to be said about standing there doing the same repetitive task over and over for hours then being expected to work overtime. Don’t blame your turnover on COVID. If your workforce has to rely on overtime to pay the bills you aren’t going to have a great time, plus with a 6-month turnaround for training, this can be considered skilled labor.

  • I’ve mentally designed a very nice, combat capable, CBRN suit The basic idea is its printed in multicam, has a helmet embedded in the head, and a pressed on, vaguely trust worthy nvg mount, and is designed to be wrapped in a big Waist to thigh rig with a vest and an embedded back bulge for air that leaves enough space to place packs and flimsy bags Obviously it’s not meant to take a hit, but it’s perfectly designed to shoot from while meeting safety standards Pretty neat concept if you ask me

  • I was thinking look at all those people working, but then reality came, technology will replace them period 5:00 We need better education. I hope those workers watch this article and understand its not personal it’s just business. There is always the next virus. We have international travel and we over use antibiotics like candy.

  • You must do it yourself, nobody else can do it for you. Jesus gave us all the help we need for that. It is in His perfect teachings, in His Gospel, and this is the New Testament. As human beings we are faced with two different kinds of death. The first one is the physical death where everyone heads to the cemetery. The second death is the spiritual death where we kill each other because of sin, Romans 6:23. Sin produces death. So we must overcome our sins in order to be free from our spiritual death. This is why God does not permit sin and also why Jesus commands us to be holy in 1 Peter 1:16, “Be holy for I am Holy.” Being holy means we overcome our sins. The teachings of Christ help us to overcome all sins. This is the wisdom of God, Mark 1:14-15. Overcoming sins is a perfect religion. Do we have this religion? This is God’s religion, our holy God, the perfect God, and His holy kingdom. Are you holy? If you are not, this is a serious mistake! Holiness equals perfection. You call yourself a Catholic? Do you overcome your sins? If you don’t, you are a spectator. Do you call yourself an Orthodox? If you do not overcome your sins, then you are a hypocrite. Do you call yourself a Protestant? Do you overcome your sins? If you don’t, you are blind. Call yourself whatever you want, but do you overcome your sins? If you don’t, you walk with your death because sin will kill you sooner or later, Romans 6:23, “The wages of sin is death.” Do you disobey God? Do you continue to sin? This is the devil’s religion.

  • “staffing issues”… 50 people quit….not because no one wants to work or its hard to find qualified workers…. Because the company wants to keep ALL the money… They’d rather lose orders than pay what they should… Like most business out there these days, they’re trying to operate their production with a skeleton crew, to maximize profits… I’ve seen big business requiring one person to do the job three people would have covered 10 yrs ago. … Corporate greed is out of control.

  • Try to take a subway in such a suit and get arrested due to causing panic… . I have worked physicaly several days in a militairy type “B”, and “not recomendable” is understated: the worst enemy is dehydration, so you have to messure your water intake well, very well. We nicknamed it the “rubber sow”…

  • What they don’t tell you is you wear another suit underneath it not including if you are wearing clothes. You were 2 pairs of gloves, boots on the outside. You wear a full face mask that is taped to the inner suit shut. The gloves are taped and you wear a oxygen tank that only has 30 minutes of air. There is a bell that goes off that says you have minutes of gas . You got to go to a decontamination zone where they scrub you down.

  • I’m sorry but if it takes you six months to throughly teach one person how to create one specific suit, then there is something wrong with your company. Crap, I’d give it 5 days tops. 3 (8/hour) days of showing them how to do it, and what not to do. And 2 days of letting them do it. If you are telling me that it takes 1 month to learn how to create one sixth of that suit (just a sleeve). Then you are hiring the wrong people.

  • the problem with hazmat suits is that they dont offer any damage and/or energy protection, witch makes you weak against any enemy not using radiation weapons, the decision to make the suit non upgradable with ballistic weave is understandable on Bethesda’s part because then the hazmat suit would be way too powerful with ballistic weave MK5

  • I didn’t know you could buy a hazmat suit in Diamond City. Thank you for posting. I think most of us just happened across one on our travels, since there are quite a few. I always keep one in my inventory for exploring irradiated areas worry free. Deacon complains a lot about not being able to have children.

  • I found a suit of power armor at a crash site on top of a hill about 100m from the entrance to west Everett estates. I also found a dead brotherhood of steel knight inside the house the backyard bunker is attached to, and he was also wearing a full suit of power armor. I can’t remember which type but it was higher level than the t45 or t51. Too bad you can’t harvest the chassis from a corpse but I at least got all the other pieces. The BOS armor suit may have just been luck since they were there clearing out the super mutants right when I went there to get the hazmat suit, but the other suit (missing fusion core and helmet) looked like a more permanent thing that doesn’t depend on chance.

  • Thx for letting me know the options! quick YT search, short instructive article, liked it. Just started my 2nd playthough (yes inspired by the TV show.) For me Polymer Labs is the most appealing, it’s an easy fun intresting mission, gives an exellent PA chest piece too, so might as well. Can be done at any level. Note for fun early i went NE from Sanctuary to the Robotics Disposal Ground (scapyard) activated the Sentry and sent it to defend South Boston Military Checkpoint, was curious if it reaches it… It went through Tenpines Bluff, Cambridge beside the police station and Red Rocket Gas Station (grabbed sharpshooter gun on the roof quickly remembered there is one guaranteed there), then went by Covenant (again cool mission for later even at early level and nearby caravan has combat rifle), and eventually went by the Polymer Labs, little after at the bridge leading to Diamond City (with the boat) it got stuck, confused and teleported back to the scrapyard. But even this short field trip gave me easy access to Diamond City, to Covenant, to Polymer Labs, to sharshooter gun and combat rifle. Seems to me rad suit and PA chest piece too…. For me it was worth it not self destruct the Senty early for it’s fusion cores, experiement was successful.)
