Are Jewish Symbols And Witchcraft The Same?

The biblical attitude towards wizards and witches is severe, with witchcraft being a capital offense. Both men and women are portrayed as engaging in witchcraft, contrary to the modern distinction made in the Bible. However, there is a revival of ancient Jewish practices of witchcraft, which have been seeing some revival as of late. The Torah itself references witchcraft during the story of the Exodus, when Pharaoh’s magicians mimicked Moses’ supernatural signs.

In both modern witchcraft and Jewish communities, people are bringing together magic and religious ritual. Witchcraft has existed in Jewish cultures throughout most of history, and was often tolerated and even accepted. Today, fueled in part by feelings of national discord, people are bringing together magic and religious ritual. Some creatures are unique to Jewish lore, such as the vampiric Alukah, a blood-sucking witch referred to in Proverbs 30, and a Broxa, originating as a bird from medieval times.

The Star of David only became a distinctly Jewish symbol in the mid-14th century when the Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV granted the Jews of Prague the right to carry a flag. The pentagram is directly associated with witchcraft and occultism, but it is not a symbol of Judaism. Witchcraft is largely associated with wisdom, or specific forms of wisdom.

The Jewish calendar follows a lunar cycle, with traditional blessings for Rosh Chodesh marking each new moon or new moon. The Pentagram is a Jewish symbol that is nothing less than the astrological symbol for the asteroid Hecate.

Is the Star of David a magic symbol?

The Star of David is a Jewish symbol consisting of two overlaid equilateral triangles that form a six-pointed star. Originating in antiquity, it served as a magical sign or decoration alongside the five-pointed star. In the Middle Ages, the Star of David appeared more frequently among Jews but did not have special religious significance. The term Magen David, which signifies God as the protector of King David, gained popularity among medieval Jewish mystics.

Kabbalists popularized the use of the symbol as a protection against evil spirits. The Jewish community of Prague was the first to use the Star of David as its official symbol, and from the 17th century, it became the official seal of many Jewish communities and a general sign of Judaism. The star was adopted by Jews in the 19th century as a striking emblem of Judaism, imitating the cross of Christianity. The yellow badge Jews were forced to wear in Nazi-occupied Europe invested the Star of David with symbolism indicating martyrdom and heroism.

What does the Jewish symbol represent?

The Star of David is a symbol of Judaism and the Jewish people, believed to be the shield or emblem of King David. Jewish lore links the symbol to the “Seal of Solomon”, a magical signet ring used by King Solomon to control demons and spirits. The symbol is also linked to a magic shield owned by King David that protected him from enemies. Following Jewish emancipation after the French Revolution, Jewish communities chose the Star of David as their symbol, and it is found on the Flag of Israel. Lions often appear as heraldic supporters, especially of the Tablets of Law.

What is the pagan symbol on the Israel flag?

The Star of David, a symbol in pagan traditions and first-century churches, has been a popular decorative device in Muslim culture. This article focuses on the fact that there are more parodies of the Passover Haggadah than other traditional texts in Jewish literature. Parody, the imitation of literary styles or structures for comic effect, is a common product of Jewish humorists, who have parodied everything from the Tanakh to the Talmud.

Thousands of liturgical parodies exist, and while Jews hold their holy texts dear, using these traditional materials has not seemed to rile anyone too much. • Revelation 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: Sun/Moon/Jupiter, this how the Magi knew when and where Christ was to be born, the Magi were Persian astrologers. Jesus was born in the month of Sept to a virgin. Virgo – a woman that appears in heaven

  • Awesome, interesting. The only thing that confuses me is that its Aquarius, then Pisces, then we have Aries to come in the next age, which sounds pretty scary tbh, but how was it the age of Taurus when really it should of been the age of Aquarius before Pisces? Thats the order of the astrological signs as far as ive always known.

  • Jesus nowhere mentioned that a female was among the 12 apostle….false information to the highest level. This brother speak some truth and some lies but I am happy I can detect the falsehood that comes from his mouth. You need to tell me the name of the female apostle and please don’t refer her as no Virgo because that is astrology and we don’t dabble in witchcraft.

  • Where does Jordan get the 4 seasons (That’s His OWN Addition) Actually the four gospel writers are depicted as follows: —Matthew: a divine man/angel. —Mark: a winged lion. —Luke: a winged ox. —John: a rising eagle. there is NO PLACE WHERE THEY ARE REPRESENTED AS 4SEASONS except in Jordan Maxwell (unfortunately eternally damned mind)

  • Is this the reason why the israelites cast a golden calf when they left Egypt and were in the desert with no food? Calf or cow or bull signifying their wishes for food, or even a stable area in which to harvest food. Never mind, i made this comment as I perusal the article, and he mentioned exactly what I was talking about.

  • The only fault here is that there are 13 sideral signs. Ophiuchus was dropped by the Greeks once they got ahold of our ancient records. Those born under this sign have significant, unique characteristics. Periodt! “13 Sun Signs of the Zodiac: A.K.A. the Zodiac Conspiracy” by Dr. Regina Atara Wead | Oct 29, 2014

  • Anyone else notice less than 30secs in during the scan across what looks like the Lord’s Supper…the hand holding the knife that belongs to NO ONE. Look at the configurations of all the arms and body positions and you can see its like a mystery man is holding the knife. Was this done on purpose like Jesus knew Judas would betray him but no one else noticed yet? Symbolism kinda thing?

  • Jordan Maxwell I would love to I could give you a better look at things I have researched the same things that you have since I was 17 can I agree with you on a lot of things but I can see it in a different light than you did there are some things about me I will tell you if we ever meet in person I am not like other people

  • Thats not entirely accurate. The people had Moses’ brother Aaron make the golden calf because they got tired of waiting for Moses to come down the mountain. When Moses did finally come down with the 10 commandments, he flipped his lid completely and smashed the commandments. He had to get a replacement set. The golden calf was ground down and everyone had to drink water with the gold in it. God did NOT like that golden calf.

  • You can’t call the Bible a “story” implying it’s a work of fiction and then turn around and quote Jesus as fact. You have to get on one side or the other. This is my biggest problem with Jordan Maxwell. That, and the fact that he continually makes the son/sun comparison in Biblical terms, yet that only works in English, and the Bible wasn’t written in English.

  • Interesting take on Christianity. This would make sense if you’re trying to discredit the divinity of Christ and make the entire Christian story a myth. I believe what’s actually being proven inadvertently is the Christ story echos creation, because that’s the point. He was the embodiment of God. I personally believe Jesus Christ was a real man, and God. There is plenty of academic work that proves he was a REAL man.

  • That actually isn’t a woman there’s a lot of sources, saying it is a woman, but it really isn’t. If you do a tiny bit of research, it will reveal that one of Jesus disciples is depicted, as very feminine and very young, because the style of Leonardo Divinci is art, and many depiction of the manner that time was very feminine.

  • This is all wrong. The ancient esoteric wisdom clearly teaches us that Jesus was actually a sheep dog. Jesus was God’s reflection on earth. The word ‘God’ backwards is ‘dog’, Christians are called lambs of God. Lambs are baby sheep. Jesus was the Good Shepherd who looks after the flock. Who else looks after flocks of sheep? Sheep dogs of course! Open your mind people!

  • I see Jordan Maxwell n KRS- One have the same belief about who Jesus is ” The Sun” which he is not nor have ever been. Thus is gnosticism. He’s the only begotten son of God n God in incarnate. Mesopotamian n Babylonian beliefs about the stars cosmos n man a bunch of lies. Astrological signs will have you twisted up. The book Dueteronomy 18:10 talks against this !!!

  • Simbolism and Ortopraxia is important for Church and this is some true but not 1st of Importanse or second but rather 8th.Did you just deny Jesus in flesh and all Apostols and all history of saints and Nikodimus,Josef,Mary the Mother of God and John the baptister and John beloved and Brother of Jesus the Holly word of God and Human face of God presented to us on most nice way….That Word and face of God a living man on flesh died in agony and pain for us…yes Sun can simbolic to present glory of God that human can see and moon and stars are God maded for us that Always remember of our God….Zodiac without God and Jesus and Holly Spirit are nothing.dead things….God Said Satana is who denied that Jesus come in flesh,Spirit and True….died, make victory in hell… was on Earth after..many Hebrew see him also at Longin roman comamder uder Pilat….What are you dooing is degradation of Christianity…Abraham lived,Moses lived,David lived,Jesus lived

  • Then Jordan needs to erase what is written int he Bible both Hebrew Greek OT and NT! Jordan says read the Bible Ok Psalms2 :12 12 (i)Kiss the SON, lest (j)He be angry, And you perish in the way, When HIS wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in HIM. It doesn’t say IT of THAT as in Object. That person next to Christ is NOT A WOMAN but the YOungest of the Disciple John! John 13:25 3 Now there was (d)leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved. 24 Simon Peter therefore motioned TO HIM to ask who it was of whom He spoke. 25 Then, leaning (e)back on Jesus’ breast, HE said to Him, “Lord, who is it?” poor Jordan believes truly you ‘all are sheep that falls for his CRAP.

  • The Bible is full of different interpretations but most of them are not accurate and in this case this is this most out of range because if you read the 4 gospels, in the last supper there was not even one woman so this guy mixed things up. The last supper was drawn about 1400 years later, I don’t know how da vinci came out with this idea

  • I wonder if Jordan realize that Jesus taught about the unseen world through the scene world and has he looked at it from that perspective I know something Jordan Maxwell doesn’t know I know that Jesus did die on the cross he did resurrect from the dead and I also know that Jesus is very much a real being and that he is literally the son of God that Jesus is the real Messiah not the sun the sky I would love to talk to Jordan Maxwell because I had Jesus come to me in person and introduced himself to me and I would love to tell Jordan Maxwell my experience with that because I could not stand in the presence of Jesus I fell to my knees just like it says in the Bible every tongue shall confess and every knee shall bend that has been my experience but I know Jesus Christ of Nazareth is a real person and I know that he physically died on the cross and I know that he physically resurrected from the dead
