Disney World has announced the launch of MagicMobile, a new wearable technology that will provide the same capabilities as MagicBands. The first phase of MagicMobile has officially begun, offering mobile devices the same capabilities as MagicBands. The MagicBands were launched in 2013 with the vision of revolutionizing theme parks with wearable plastic RFID bracelets. However, Disney’s Magical Express airport transportation from Orlando has been discontinued, making early MagicBand delivery less essential.
The MagicBand+ is the next generation of wearable technology, with interactive features for the 50th anniversary. Walt Disney World Resort guests have the most MagicBand features available, but day guests and annual passholders can still use them. The first version of MagicBands was discontinued and replaced with the MagicBand2, which many people continue to use. According to rumors, Disney World will begin deactivating all MagicBand 1.0 devices soon, expected to take place this month.
MagicBands are still highly necessary for several reasons, including battery life, battery life, and convenience. However, they are being phased out in stores and are currently only available for pre-purchase on DisneyExperience. Disney also stopped offering free MagicBands to Annual Passholders, meaning all MagicBands now cost money.
There are three models of MagicBands: the original and now-discontinued versions. While the MagicBands are still popular and Disney, it is important to continue providing them to guests for various reasons.
📹 MagicBand 101 | Everything you need to know!
Let’s talk about MagicBand, MagicBand+ and everything you need to know at Walt Disney World! Is it worth it? What does it do?
How long will MagicBands last?
The non-plus magicbands are equipped with a battery that has a lifespan of approximately two years.
Can I use a MagicBand from 5 years ago?
You can use a MagicBand from a previous Walt Disney World vacation for your next one as long as it is active in your My Disney Experience account. The MagicBand’s battery can last up to two years, so you can use it for multiple vacations. However, your MagicBand’s 5-6 year old battery may not be functional and is sealed, making it impossible to change or check at home. It’s recommended to bring your MagicBand on your Walt Disney World vacation and check if it works for park entry. If the battery is depleted, you can purchase a new MagicBand at various Walt Disney World stores. If you want to purchase MagicBands before your vacation, shopDisney offers a great selection.
What is replacing MagicBands?
MagicBand+ is a new feature at Walt Disney World, but it’s not the only option for entering the parks and other features. MagicMobile is a service that uses your phone or other smart devices as an alternative. These options are part of the integrated MyMagic+ system, which integrates various aspects of the Walt Disney World experience into one system. The My Disney Experience app allows for Advance Dining Reservations and Genie+ reservations, while the other half occurs in the physical world through touchpoints.
The official MyMagic+ page no longer mentions it, but it’s still available in the fine print. This post compares and contrasts the options, providing basic background and commentary on which one you prefer.
Do they still send MagicBands?
MagicBands, once free with a Disney resort reservation, can now be ordered up to 11 days before your trip in My Disney Experience or 6 days if shipped to your resort. These lightweight and waterproof wristbands are an all-in-one device worn to make your day in the parks more straightforward. It’s important to understand the benefits and alternatives before making a decision. MagicBands can be seen in vacation photos from the last decade and can be a valuable addition to any Disney vacation.
Can you still use old MagicBands at Disney?
Guests can reuse their Disney band from a previous visit, and they can link their Disney Resort hotel booking in My Disney Experience using their 8-digit booking confirmation number and surname. To link an e-ticket in My Disney Experience, guests can use the reference number located under the barcode of their Ticket Confirmation. However, they may need to visit the Front Desk upon arrival to their Disney Resort hotel if they do not have a Disney band.
Guests can also purchase a Disney band from a previous visit, but they must visit the Front Desk upon arrival. If guests already have an account with Disney. co. uk but are being asked to enter additional details on Disneyworld. com, they can do so by visiting Disneyworld. co. uk, logging in, and selecting My Reservations from the My Disney Experience menu.
In summary, guests can reuse their Disney band from a previous visit and link their hotel booking to My Disney Experience using their 8-digit booking confirmation number and surname.
Can you still use old MagicBands?
Guests can reuse their Disney band from a previous visit, but the ability to receive Disney PhotoPass attraction videos and select attraction photos may be limited. To link your Disney Resort hotel booking in My Disney Experience, use your 8-digit booking confirmation number and surname. If you have booked directly with Walt Disney Travel Company International, log in to your account and select My Reservations from the My Disney Experience menu at the top-right of the page.
To link your e-ticket in My Disney Experience, use the e-ticket reference number located under the barcode of your Ticket Confirmation. If you have already registered with Disney. co. uk but are being asked to enter additional details on Disneyworld. com, you can do so by visiting Disneyworld. co. uk, logging in, and selecting My Reservations from the menu at the top-right of the page.
Guests without a Disney band need to visit the Front Desk upon arrival at their Disney Resort hotel.
Are Disney MagicBands still available?
The MagicBand+ and the MagicBand are available for purchase via the Internet and at a limited number of merchandise locations within the Walt Disney World Resort.
Is Disney discontinuing MagicBands?
The first version of MagicBands, the MagicBand2, was discontinued and no longer available. The MagicBand+, which is now the most readily available, can be found in limited quantities on shopDisney. com, My Disney Experience, and stores throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. The original MagicBands have lost their functionality as they are about 10 years old or older. The MagicBand2 batteries last up to two years, with some guests reporting longer life. The MagicBand+ is rechargeable, which is a welcome update to the MagicBand family. To find older-style MagicBands, consider using a popular online auction website.
Can you use your phone instead of a MagicBand at Disney World?
The Disney MagicMobile Service is a contactless feature accessible via the My Disney Experience mobile application. It enables users to gain access to theme parks and other attractions simply by holding their compatible smart device in proximity to an access point.
Do MagicBands ever stop working?
The older MagicBands are still valid for use in Walt Disney World, but they may be drained of their magical energy and no longer work. They can be out of power by the time you visit in fall. There is no way to test this at home, and batteries cannot be replaced. The recommendation is to bring your current MagicBands with you and see if they work. If they do, you can use most of what the new MagicBand+ bands can do, but not everything. Some interactive adventures may not work with the older bands, but this may not be important to you.
Can I use an Apple Watch instead of MagicBand?
The Apple Watch can be used to scan into Disney Parks and Lightning Lane entrances, as well as scan for Disney PhotoPass photos. To set up a digital theme park ticket or Walt Disney World annual pass, ensure your theme park ticket is linked to your MyDisney account and create your ticket in the My Disney Experience App. Follow the directions to “Set Up MagicMobile Entry” and save your card design to your digital wallet.
However, unlike a MagicBand+, an Apple Watch cannot open hotel doors or make purchases to add to your hotel folio around the property. However, you can use your My Disney Experience App-connected smartphone to enter your hotel room, which is a cool feature that the hotels at Walt Disney World Resort have. This allows you to enjoy the convenience of using your Apple Watch while at the most magical place on Earth.
📹 The Secrets People Don’t Know About Disney World Magic Bands!
There’s a lot of myths and rumors about Disney World Magic Bands — we’ve got the facts, tips and hacks you need to know!
First of all, I loved the paper fast passes. I had it down to a science and you could get as many as you wanted or if you had to leave the park you could just hand off your unused passes to some else. My wife had a BB-8 magic band last time we went and every time she entered a park we heard the BB-8 beeps. It was cool .
One of the “secrets” that shocked us was on the “it’s a small world ” ride. We were on very late one night and as we got to the end, both of our names were on the goodbye sign that is done in several foreign languages. Freaked us out a little until we realized it must have been the magic band “tracking” us, lol!
In case it wasn’t clear: “Unlike the original MagicBands, who become just another colorful plastic bracelet after their batteries die, MagicBand 2 has an innovative removable center puck where all of the magic is stored. This way should you find a really awesome design dedicated to your favorite ride, character, snack, or year of your visit, you can keep using that outer part of the band for ever and ever, and you’ll only need to replace the magic puck on future trips.” -DisneyParks Moms Panel
2 years ago my husband bought me the 35 Epcot anniversary band and we were using it to go on some of the rides in Epcot. The monitors will actually light up in a rainbow colors that surprised even the Disney cast members. We’ve had it happen with my husband’s Pandora band in Animal Kingdom as well. I have several bands but the 35 year one is still my favorite!
Y’all I found a new Disney secret I’ve never seen before! So if you leave the tower of terror store and look at the displays of mannequins outside you will see the one on your right shows a specific little story of someone trying to hide a MURDER. I had never noticed this before but just looking at the seen is unsettling, check it out!
I ordered the plain magic bands through the hotel. You can customize it by asking to put your name on it. Also my mom and I bought some cool cheap stickers from Etsy. They glitter and glow in the dark! You can even just get a sticker to cover the puck part. I just need cheap bandits next! I want the nightmare before Christmas bandits but 20$ for 3 little bandits is a bit pricey. I would’ve paid 10-15$ on Amazon’s do Disney it’s 20 plus 🙁
One of the first things I noticed about the charging options for the Magic Bands is that if you charge things to your room using your Band, the charges go to your reserved card on the morning you check out, rather than the day you use it. If that card is a debit card, you might reach your debit card limits for a 24 hour period on the check-out day. If you use Mobile ordering on the Disney experience for dining out, the charge goes to your bank account immediately (another reason to use that fantastic option.) We tend to use our physical cards for payment at shops and restaurants instead of using the Band, because it’s easier to keep track of our bank account that way, especially if your bank offers online banking. Debits show up right away instead of hitting the account at one time the day you leave the resort. The only times the Band-charging option is helpful for us is when we are at the water parks. We use the Bands to pay for food and drinks there when our wallets are in the locker.
Great article, but I thought one of the secrets of the magic band was the “rumor” that Disney can use the band to track where you go throughout the park and use that data for their marketing purposes. At the end of the day, it’s easy to assume that they can trace everywhere you went, the time and what you did etc. If it’s true, it’s an ingenious way to collect data on every visitor to the Walt Disney World property. It may be safe to say, they can also be used to locate missing persons within the park by accessing where they were last and what time. This information may not be public knowledge, but it would be a waste of technology it isn’t used in such a manner. So the info may be in some “disney database” somewhere, but it’s most likely accessible immediately when needed.
Kind of misleading with the credit card. You dont register your card to your band. You register a form of payment to your room for charging, then your Magic Band ID(s) is(are) either allowed or not allowed to charge up to whatever dollar amount you set. Each night the charges that are linked to your Magic Band ID(s) are settled to the payment type you registered. Your MagicBand is not used as a direct form of payment like Apple, Samsung or Google pay.
I went to disney a couple months ago. We didn’t tell them ahead of time that we were going to use the disney buses to get from the airport to our disney resort (we planned to use an uber but surge pricing was CRAZY). We were able to board the disney bus anyways though. all we had to do was tap our magic bands on the thing and we were good to go. No issues
On the ride photos, you don’t need to tap at the photo screen if you have a magic band. The cameras have long range RFID readers and will automatically read your band and send the photo to your account. In fact Seven Dwarves Mine Train doesn’t have the photo station when you get off the ride. And the batteries in the bands can last a long time if you don’t use the band that often.
Just a few notes about the Magical Express and unlinking your magic band… my family and I landed at MCO (Orlando Airport) and had plans to rent a car (2017 trip). We got to the rental car place (Hertz) and they had no record of our reservation. My Mom had the reservation printed, but yet they still denied having us in the system. If we wanted to rent a car at that moment, it would have been almost $600 up front. All because, according to them, we didn’t reserve beforehand. So we walked to the Magical Express which was on the same floor, explained the situation, and handed them our Disney reservations to show that we indeed were staying on property. We had our Magic Bands ready to go too. They told us that as long as we had a valid reservation on property, we could board the bus. For unlinking your magic band, if you go with a family member or friend who doesn’t live with you and you link everything together, make sure to unlink it as soon as you get back home. I went on a BFF trip a few years ago and never took my friend’s name out of my account. I made reservations for 2018 for my family and they sent our “Welcome Back” papers to her house, even though I booked it under my name and address. As fate would have it, I am no longer friends with that person, so when the time came to book my 2019 family vacation I called Disney three separate times after I booked, on purpose, so that I would get a different agent each time. Sure enough, my friend’s address was still in the system under my name.
Going for the first time but a one day only(yeah I’m sad about it too but my oldest son is deploying soon thus the one day) would you say it’s worth getting the magic bands especially for my 8 yr old since we can use it in a future trip. So glad this showed up before we leave on Saturday. Only been to Disneyland where they STILL use paper for everything.
Can you use one magic bands for multiple tickets for yourself. I’m a Florida resident and go to Disney sometimes with just a regular one day pass. Does it make sense to buy a magicband so whenever I go to Disney I don’t have to pull out my ticket for that day for fast passes. It is even possible to put multiple one day tickets on a magic band?
I bought a Tiki Room Magic Band on eBay a month or two ago. Nowhere in the write-up was it mentioned that it was used or had been previously linked to another account, so I assumed it would be new and in the original packaging (like another one I’d purchased). I got it and it was loose, no packaging, so I have to assumed it’s been used. I haven’t attempted to link it up to my own account yet because my trip is a year way, but now I’m concerned that it won’t work unless I swap pucks. Buyer beware.
I’ve been personalizing my magic band with decals from Etsy for a while; I like it because I can get interesting art, glitter, and glow-in-the-dark options, all for $5-8. Up until they started with the discounting for special bands, it has also been a much less expensive option than paying $15-45 for a decorated band, which is particularly nice when I consider that this is an object that expires in a few years. I also think that they ought to make them so that we can replace the batteries, or have a recycling program, rather than chucking them in landfill permanently after a limited amount of time and use.
We are staying off site. Is this 30 days out fast pass window from the first day I choose when buying my husband’s ticket? I purchased an AP but won’t be around to active it until our 1st day we get there. We are arriving in Orlando on 20th and will activate my fast pass that day. But won’t be visiting DW until the 24th. We are doing Universal 1st. What day would be 30 days out for me?
If you can get through the glitches and you have a hotel reservation or haven’t ordered your annual pass magic band yet, Disney is offering Limited Release magic bands at a discount, too. All pre-order magic bands in conjunction with a hotel stay or annual pass are $15 off the regular price, so LR bands are $15 and regular designed bands are $10, single color bands are free.
One note about the magical express: apparently you don’t have to sign up for this ahead of time. I recently spoke to a rep at WDW about this, as we are planning a trip from the beach to WDW and wanted to drive our rental car and drop off at the airport to take the bus to our hotel. She said that’s no problem. We can look and pick a random flight to give them pickup info, but we can also just show up. As long as we have a resort reservation, they would accommodate us on the next available bus.
If your magic band is over 2 years old and you don’t want to buy a new one just for in rude photos how do you get your rude photos? Do you just have to look through the screen to find your photo then tap, does the card you get (for international guests) sufficient at the job, do I need to get a plain Coloured magic band and change over the pucks or is there another way? Just want to know before I go next year.
Wait a minute here. The advise to purchase a Magicband from a third party seller is incredibly bad advice. If the seller used it on their vacation prior to selling it then no one else can use it. Thats a pretty large risk just to save a few bucks. You try to link it to your account and its already linked. You call to find out why only to find out its been linked to someone else you do not really even know and even if you did it does not matter. That biometric is tied to that band no matter if its linked or “unlinked.” You really should redact that portion of this article.
I learned another secret today from a Disney website FAQ: “Guests can participate in MyMagic+ and visit the Resort without using the MagicBand by choosing a card, which cannot be detected by the long-range readers….” That way, you’ll only be using the aspects of the system that require a touch-point, but you can still store FastPasses and make reservations.
Hi, last year I was going to go to Disney but got cancelled due to covid. We were going to do a Disney hotel so we could do the wrist bands as well but now we’re trying for the SECOND time but we aren’t staying on Disney property but I still really want to use the wrist band for purchasing food and items. Is there still a way I can do that?
Just a heads up for anyone not based in the US: If you’re getting a band through My Disney Experience and you’re coming from overseas, they won’t post it to you. My partner and I are heading over in October from Australia and, though we’ve already picked our bands, we’ll have to collect them from the front desk on arrival.
Hello AJ…..absoutly love all of your articles and so happy you did this one…..really quick question…and maybe you could add to another article…..was looking to start collecting different magic bands….Halloween Christmas a red or heart one for valentine’s day an R2D2 for galexy edge ect…..If I do am I able to move to different bands for each holiday or event I’m going to…..so I match what I’m doing on that trip or will I have problems or be flagged for moving to so many different bands for the year…..I think it will be really cute to match for that time of year but wanting to make sure I dont mess up my account……thanks for any help or feed back you can give me Xoxoxox Katie From fla
Oh wow, I didn’t know there were Magic Band displays. I’ll have to check out Amazon. I think I’m sticking with the solid colors. I see the different styles, but I’m not really seeing any of the upgraded ones I like. I do wish Disneyland would get onboard with these bands though. They are still on paper tickets.
I’ve been going every other year for 25 years and I’m a dvc member. The magic bands are probably the worst thing Disney has ever done atleast from a fastpass perspective. Planning rides 60 days out for a vacation is a joke. Disney has never had there hand so far in your wallet(dont forget to link your credit card for easy access) then they do now. Nobody ever makes articles on how overpriced disney is. It’s fun and traditional but its definitely not right.
How flexible is those? Can you pay for one item in cash even if you have DDP credits left? Also: When do you pay for youre purchases? Do you get to “clear the bills” before departure or ate the purchases drawn as you buy them? Aka do I have to have all the money at my account during the trip or will Ihave the choice to pay at check out or at home via a bill? (Most EU banks has a fee per transaktion from aboard) Also – How do you make sure and check that you pay (or use DDP credits) for the correct amount or credit vs money? Do you get receipts or something? Johan.
This is all quite outdated. Magic Bands are no longer free, and they aren’t $10 anymore either. Plan on $15-$25 per band. The Magical Express is also no longer offered. For a family of four, this is a $128 new cost for a round trip ticket to/from the airport using the Mears bus…or around $200 if a taxi is used,
Didn’t see this already posted in the comments so I’ll post it here: For all you fellow passholders, if you want the little passholder ornaments each year, you need to order your free magicband you get every year when you renew. I hadn’t ordered one for the last few years because I have a custom Little Orange Bird band and didn’t need it. I spoke to the cast members in Guest Services at EPCOT and they told me that if I wanted a new passholder band ornament, this is how you get one! Hope this helps anyone else who had the same question!
We have some of the original magic bands, and every single Disney crew member let us know every time we used it lol…Going in the front gates, getting checked in at the hotel, going into the park entrance, getting them scanned at dinner, anywhere we used the magic bands they were like “oh wow, you guys have the original magic bands, that’s awesome” lol
I can’t buy my magic bands ahead of time as disney won’t send them to Canada, I did buy one on my last trip inside the parks, is there a way to save the battery ? will deactivating them from the account save the battery would like to use the same one when I go again in 2021 but it will be 2 years old then .
I heard the batteries only last about 2 years or so on these bands. Do any of the magic bands you can buy allow you to replace the battery if it dies? I want to get a custom band but not if I have to buy the band over again in a couple years. I realize that is only about $10 a year but if I get a band they do not make anymore and I can no longer use it that would be a bummer. EDIT: Just a thought, I could change the puck out with a matching color one and keep the band, so maybe I am worried over nothing.
Thanks for posting this article. Magic band is one of the topics I suggest you cover (on less detail, with a referral to this article) in a article you need to do for people who haven’t been to Disney World in at least 15 years describing all of the changes that have taken place. We need to know about Fast Passes, and what they do. We want to know, where are Disney MGM Studios, because I can’t wait to ride the Great Movie Ride again? And how do I get to Downtown Disney? I can’t find either of these on my map.
STOP SCROLLING These printed magic bands are really expensive no matter where you buy them. I suggest buying a normal one and my big bro (who works at Disney) has a close friend that sells permanent stickers of different designs that fit perfectly on a magic band. You can also customize the sticker. so if you are interested please tell me and I will ask my brother for the details. P.S. these stickers cost around 2 dollars I think
Thanks, AJ, good article! In 2013, we got use both Magic Bands and paper fastpasses–talk about no lines! 🙂 Great tip is to get a magic band “holder.” They do come off easily if caught on something. Also, for most rides, you do not need to tap it on the picture when you get out. It automatically picks us your magic band when you are on the ride. If you do tap it, you’ll end up with double pictures. But I guess, better safe than sorry. The upgrade custom magic bands online system still barely works unfortunately! I’ve tried no less than 12 times to try get all 4 and it’s never worked. Does anyone know if there is a way to do one at a time? I can’t figure that out and cast members can’t either.
Can anyone tell me if you can link Disney gift cards to a Magic Band? I purchased some gift cards over the last 6 months to use during my WDW trip in September to try to avoid using “real money” while on property. It would be an added bonus if I could link those to the band like you can link a credit card!
Well, I’ve been trying to order my magic bands for over a month now, and it doesn’t let me do ANYTHING; the system doesn’t allow me to purchase the discounted ones, the normal prices ones, not even order the plain simple ones- so there’s that. You can imagine how much fun I’m having perusal all the amazing magic bands, and not even able to even order the simple ones:c
I last used my Magic Band three years ago. I have all my plans set for a visit in ten days. When I made my reservations, the cast member didn’t mention anything about the batteries dying. Can the front desk staff at the resort I’m staying at test the band out to make sure it still works or should I go ahead and order new ones?
Going to Disney World in April 2020 and my last trip was spring 2012. All of this is new to me! When I was there last, there were no Magic Bands, no Beast’s Castle, no Seven Dwarfs Mine, no Pandora, and of course, no Galaxy’s Edge. This will be my last trip to WDW (probably) and afterwards, we may sell our Orlando timeshare. So glad for your articles AJ because we’ve learned so much about the parks, the restaurants, and the tips and tricks to make our last trip to WDW our most memorable. Why your last trip, you ask? We’re turning 60 and our energy levels are decreasing (no kids, no grandchildren, and nieces/nephews older).
Battery only works for 2 Years? What if it’s been sitting for sale for a year or 2…& then you buy it & the battery is already dead?! Disney probably could make these Bands WITH a replaceable battery, but they probably choose not to, so they can keep reselling new bands. Actually, I heard Disney’s thinking about doing away w/Magic Bands & will have customers use cell phones to access all the “Magic”.
Hey AJ, is there any way guest may request that they have traditional room swipe cardkeys, and QR codes or similarly to gain access to FastPass and other services/rides/restaurant reservations? I just feel super uncomfortable relying on one piece of technology for both my room AND rides. If that Magic Band malfunctions or glitches and powers off, I don’t want to be locked out of my room, and become a hassle for Cast Members. I just think the Magic Band idea is great in theory, but only creates more problems. Plus, I don’t want my movements tracked in the parks, too, so there’s privacy concerns… Does Disney do this at all, like give out alternative solutions to room keys, like an actual credit-card type swipe cardkey??
Have you ever made a article talking about how staff members at Disney can give away up to three free tickets to parks on particular dates (depending on the park/date availability)?? Because I’m going to Disney world next week and we’re actually being allowed in as three guests of a cast member. I’m still very lost with how I’m supposed to still be able to use the Disney experience app to link my “lightning lane/genie rides/reservations for park days with my family”. If she got free tickets, are we even able to get a magic band to use that day or even the app, lightning lane especially? I’m very lost with the details of this. If you could shed some light on this for me even in a reply, that’d be great! Unless you’ve already made a vid about this sorta thing but I’m just wanting to make sure everything will be in order so I don’t miss out on anything (especially Pandora, that’s the #1 thing I’m going for!!) 😮🎉❤
Hi AJ. So I am planning on purchasing my tickets through an external source (not Disney) I assume I can still link my ticket to My Disney Experience and then I was planning on buying a magic band (I will be staying OFF resort) either before I go or when I get to Disney which I will then link to my ticket on My Disney Experience. Can I do this as I will be staying off resort and the ticket will not be brought directly through Disney? Thank you!
I’m at Disney right now. Had a magic band but the poor design caused it to pop off without me knowing. $25 down the drain. Waste of money. Don’t get them. They’re only secured by two weak dots, no clasp, that a typical day in the park will cause them to pop off. Then you have to go to guest services to get a card anyways. Just use a card. Save your $25 for one of the snacks in the park.
Haha I was just about to say what on earth did I watch this complete article for. I don’t like Disney. Never have. I live in England. Have no plans on going to America or France. Will never buy a magic band.. What on earth am I doing perusal??? The comment below asks same thing so glad it’s not only me.. Hahahaha
Question about mobile order and magic bands. I’m trying to find out: when you do mobile order, does it get charged right to the credit card you have linked, or do you pay with your magic band when you pick up your food and it gets charged to your room? I’m bringing gift cards for my food, and if it gets charged to my room, I can pay with the gift cards. If it goes right on my credit card, I won’t be able to use my gifts cards for any mobile ordered food. Just trying to be prepared.
I am in the UK and have seen magic bands for sale on sites other than Disney – AJ mentions buying a band from Amazon – any thoughts on this, will I have any issues in using a band from Amazon? I would really like to buy in advance rather than have my first day interrupted with setting up bands. We are not going to stay on property – any help gratefully received.
Ok guys. So what’s the trick to actually successfully complete an order? I’ve tried on numerous occasions to add a magic band to my order and then when I try to go and check out of course it says retry or some other order issue. So I start all over again and then of course the bands that I wanted to order are all gone so obviously many people are successful in placing an order just not me. This is very aggravating. Anyone have any helpful suggestions or tips for me? 😁. Thanks in advance
Etsy also has option where they have magic band puck holders you can slide on a Apple Watch or something similar in case you don’t want to where a band and a watch. I know for me I only wears bands on my lefts wrist and having my watch and magic band for uncomfortable after a while. Super convenient and cute options
You can use the my Disney experience app to unlock your Disney resort hotel room if you forget your magic band. My sister showed it to me when we went 2 weeks ago. In the app hit the 3 bars bottom right corner. Then tap resort hotel and should be an option to click unlock my room door. Make sure bluetooth is on and once you enable it then you hold your phone over the door scanner and click unlock. Think that’s an important info that should known.
