Can A Pokémon Red Player Obtain An Amulet Coin?

The Amulet Coin is a Friendship Item in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen that can be obtained by talking to Prof. Oak’s aides in the upstairs observation room in the gatehouse connecting Celadon City and Cycling Road. To claim it, players need at least 40 Pokemon in their PokeDex. In Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, an Amulet Coin can be found in Route 16 in the Sinnoh region, and in Amity Square when walking with their Pokémon.
