Spells that create walls list the depth, length, and height of the wall, as well as how it can be positioned. Some walls can be shaped, and you can manipulate the wall into a form other than a straight line, choosing its contiguous path square by square. Wall of Fire is not an example of a wall, but it can be formed with an opaque sheet of flame up to 20 feet long or a ring of fire with a radius of up to 5 feet/two levels.
Most Wall spells are not bursts, spreads, or emanations, and thus cannot be Widened. However, they would work on a Globe Of Invulnerability and similar. A magically treated wall also gains a saving throw against spells that could.
Well-built structures have exterior walls of brick or stonemasonry, while smaller, lower-quality, or temporary walls are often used. If a pit spell ending pushed the enemy with enough force to crush them against the wall, the enemy would only take roughly 38 damage and then burst.
To cast a wall spell, you need Line of Effect to cast a spell, except if the spell explicitly makes an exception (Sacred Flame). To target something, you must have a clear path to it, so it can’t be behind total cover.
If an area or effect entry ends with “(S)”, you can shape the spell. A shaped effect or area can have no dimension smaller than 10 feet. Many walls cannot curve or turn corners, and putting an angle in there requires two separate castings of the spell.
In a game with square grids, there are no curves or perfect hemispheres, and the edges are squared off, not rounded off like we see in square grids. The spell states that you can make the wall up to 60 feet long, meaning that you can curve, zig-zag, or make the wall any shape you choose as long as it is touching.
Nothing can physically pass through the wall unless it is a dome or sphere. It must be vertical, a flat plane, and may not intersect with a creature.

Can you curve a wall of light?
A shimmering wall of bright light appears at a point within range, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. The wall can be free floating or rest on a solid surface, and can be up to 60 feet long, 10 feet high, and 5 feet thick. It blocks line of sight but allows creatures and objects to pass through. When the wall appears, each creature in its area must make a Constitution saving throw. A failed save results in 4d8 radiant damage and 1 minute blinding, while a successful save reduces damage and blindness. A blinded creature can make a Constitution saving throw at the end of each turn, ending the effect on itself.
Does the wall of thorns have to be a straight line?
The description offers two potential methodologies for the construction of the wall: a straight wall with a diameter of 20ft, or a circular wall with a diameter of 20ft.
What shape is the wall of force Pathfinder?
The caster is able to create a wall of force that is 10 feet square in area and continuous and unbroken in its formation. In the event that the surface of the wall is breached, the spell will be deemed ineffective. A permanent wall of force may be created through the use of a permanency spell.
Can you reshape wall of force?
An invisible wall of force appears at a point within range, appearing in any orientation, as a horizontal or vertical barrier, or at an angle. It can be free floating or resting on a solid surface, and can be formed into a hemispherical dome, sphere, or flat surface made up of ten panels. The wall is 1/4 inch thick and lasts for the duration. If the wall cuts through a creature’s space, it pushes them to one side.
The wall is immune to all damage and cannot be dispelled by dispel magic. However, a disintegrate spell destroys the wall instantly. The wall also extends into the Ethereal Plane, blocking ethereal travel.
Can you make wall of fire a circle?
A wall of fire can be created on a solid surface within range, either 60 feet long, 20 feet high, and 1 foot thick, or a ringed wall up to 20 feet in diameter, 20 feet high, and 1 foot thick. The wall is opaque and lasts for the duration. When the wall appears, each creature within its area must make a Dexterity saving throw. If a creature fails, they take 5d8 fire damage, or half as much on a successful save. One side of the wall deals 5d8 fire damage to each creature that ends its turn within 10 feet of that side or inside the wall.
What is the difference between a fire wall and a normal wall?
Firewalls are thick exterior walls that extend from the base of a building to the roof, designed to remain standing even if the adjacent structure collapses. They are built thicker than normal walls and have significant structural stability under fire conditions. Firewalls typically have a 3 to 4-hour fire-resistance rating and can be supported by structures like roofs, columns, or floors. Fire barriers are interior walls that extend from floor-to-floor or floor-to-roof, including concealed and interstitial spaces.
They are designed to sub-divide portions of the building and restrict the initial flow of heat within the area of origin, providing building occupants with adequate time to evacuate to safe areas. Firewalls have a higher fire-resistance rating, while fire barriers have a lower rating. Both structures are important to a building’s fire protection system, as they help contain fires and allow occupants to evacuate safely.
Proper maintenance of both structures according to IBC and/or NFPA’s codes and standards is critical to the building’s integrity and safety. Recognizing the difference between firewalls and fire barriers is essential for maintaining the integrity of the building and the safety of its occupants.

Can you shape wall of thorns?
A wall of thorns spell creates a barrier of tough, pliable, and tangled brush bearing needle-sharp thorns as long as a human’s finger. Any creature forced into or attempting to move through a wall of thorns takes piercing damage per round of movement equal to 25 minus the creature’s AC. Dexterity and dodge bonuses do not count for this calculation.
Creatures with an AC of 25 or higher, without considering Dexterity and dodge bonuses, take no damage from contact with the wall. The wall can be as thin as 5 feet thick, allowing for 10-by-10-by-5-foot blocks equal to twice the caster level. Creatures can force their way slowly through the wall by making a Strength check as a full-round action.
Creatures within the area of the spell when it is cast take damage as if they had moved into the wall and are caught inside. To escape, they must attempt to push their way free or wait until the spell ends. Creatures with the ability to pass through overgrown areas unhindered can pass through a wall of thorns at normal speed without taking damage.
Can wall of force be shaped?
The spellcaster can create a force wall within 120 feet for up to 10 minutes, which can be one quarter inch thick and can be up to 1, 200 square feet. The wall can be any shape, limiting any section to a minimum of 100 square feet. If the wall appears where a creature is located, they are pushed out to the edge of the effect. The wall is immune to all damage and dispel magic, but it is destroyed by the spell disintegrate and weak to mage’s disjunction spells, rods of cancellation, and spheres of annihilation. The barrier is also present on the ethereal plane and blocks passage.

Jesus, you startled the hell outa me at the beginning with that screech! And waving your hands around makes you look like you have a nervous disorder. Keep your voice level and put your hands at your side and don’t act. DONT. ACT. Just speak to your audience. If this is how you have positioned your background and framed yourself, please raise the camera up closer to YOUR eye level so the audience isn’t looking up your belly and under your chin. Frankly…I’m afraid to view any of your other articles if this is how you presented them.
