Can I Alter My Knwon Spells?

The Warlock gaining 5th level gains a new 1st, 2nd, or 3rd level spell and can swap out a spell they already know for a different one. They cannot forget a spell and have it replaced with a new one in their spellbook. However, they can erase, burn, or rip a spell from their spell book if they like. When they go up a level, they check the table to see if the number of spells they know goes up, and if so, they pick a new spell (or spells if it goes up by more than one) to add.

Wizards are the exception, as they can change their cleric spells after every long rest. Clerics and Druids have access to their entire spell list, and when you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace any one known spell with any other, as long as you can cast spells of that level.

All spellcasting classes can change spells during each level up. Clerics, Druids, Paladins, and Wizards can change their Prepared Spells by selecting from their Known Spells. For all other spellcasting classes, you can replace one spell when leveling up your character.

Warlocks can change the spells they know only when they reach a new level. Bards, on the other hand, know a certain number of spells and can only replace spells known when they gain a level in the bard class. A sorcerer may swap only a single spell at any given level, and must choose whether or not to swap the spell at the same time that she gains new spells known.

For Clerics, Druids, Paladins, and Wizards, you can change your Prepared Spells by selecting from your Known Spells. For other spellcasting classes, you can change spells in and out of your spellbook.

Can Astarion turn you?

Astarion, a non-vampire character in Baldur’s Gate 3, is controlled by a master vampire and can become one if he drinks that master’s blood. During the “The Pale Elf” quest, after killing his former master, Cazador Szarr, Astarion can ascend to full vampire status by completing the same ritual that made him a thrall. Astarion violently carves special characters into Cazador, completing the ritual and ascending to full vampire status. This destroys everyone in the vampire coven, including Cazador himself, as Astarion absorbs their power.

Once the ritual is completed, Astarion becomes an equivalent master vampire with a more powerful bite and the ability to turn into mist. He also becomes more romantically possessive and can turn a player character into a vampire spawn if asked.
