Six Flags Magic Mountain, a theme park in Santa Clarita, CA, is back open to season pass holders and the general public for September 2024. The park features Fright Fest, Oktoberfest, Food Festival, and Kids Boo Fest, offering a record eleven haunted houses, nine scare zones, live monstertainment, and eerie eats and drinks. The theme park opened in 1971 and has a history of using Looney Tunes and troll characters as mascots.
Six Flags Magic Mountain is one of the first California amusement parks to reopen on Thursday, April 1, alongside Legoland California in Carlsbad and Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo. The park boasts 20 roller coasters, the most in the world, and is known as the “Thrill Capital of the World”. Rides may be temporarily closed during electrical storms, heavy rain, or high winds, but most restaurants, theaters, and shops will remain open.
Fear Fest Extreme features a record combined total of 20 haunted houses and scare zones, entertainment, and spine-chilling coasters in the dark. To access the park, guests must pass through temperature and safety protocols. The park’s operating schedule includes dates, opening times, and closing times.
For those who choose to continue paying for their membership until Six Flags reopens, they can find their park and enjoy the thrill of the park’s 20 roller coasters.
