Chakra tuning forks are small metal instruments that emit specific sound frequencies that correspond to each chakra, helping to balance and align them. This can bring about a sense of harmony and well-being throughout the body. These tuning forks can be used by striking the fork against a rubber block or hand, holding it near the corresponding chakra, or placing it directly on the body. Unweighted tuning forks are commonly used for healing as they help make distorted waves coherent and clear lower vibrations.
To use chakra tuning forks, focus on the connections between each chakra and the specific chakra. Each tuning fork is tuned to produce a vibration that the body naturally aligns with, traveling deep to trigger the healing process. The set includes seven precisely tuned forks, each corresponding to one of the seven chakras tuned to a specific frequency.
Tuning forks work with the body’s tissues, nervous system, and even the most subtle of the body’s energies to deliver deep healing and relaxation. They work by physically transferring their vibrational frequency by directly being placed on the body and using the body as a resonator. Their sonic vibrations are believed to stimulate qi, encouraging the body’s energy to flow naturally.
In summary, chakra tuning forks are a powerful tool for promoting balance and healing by emitting specific sound frequencies that resonate with the body’s energy centers.

thank you so much for your article. I recently bought myself the complete set of chakra tuning forks for my birthday which was in July and I didn’t feel the need to use them until today. I went through each one and placed the fork on each energy centre on my body and I feel really good. I’ve heard that using crystals with the tuning forks is very effective, so next time I use them I will use the right coloured stone with the tuning forks and see how it differentiates between just the forks and also with the stones and the forks. Blessings and love to you.
Which tuning fork should be used for the pancreas/ diabetes mellitus ? Is it the one associated with the solar plexus chakra? Also, do you know of any reports (either published or anecdotal) of how the chakra tuning fork is used to help with blood sugar control (in terms of frequency of treatments, whether they should be given before or after meals, length of course of treatment before improvement was seen, etc.) ? (I’m just looking for some detailed guidance in using tuning forks to improve physical ailments. I read a few sections of John Beaulieu’s “Human Tuning: Sound Healing with Tuning Forks,” but, although it is a good book, I didn’t find what I’m looking for in it.)
Hi Vickie 🌺I’m very excited to learn from your classes and articles. I wonder if this technique can work on my bruxism (teeth grinding). This is a lifelong habit which has resulted in jaw pain while eating. Have you heard of using frequency and vibration for this condition? Thank you for this very informative article. 🌺
I made a Native American flute last year in f# and I find it a great tool for my anxiety! Never thought of tuning folks!! Boy… your opening up my world, brings me gratitude and joy!!! To add something else, I just did reiki for the first time and she instantly knew my traumas and knew who caused them without her knowing anything about me other then I had cancer! So for validation… your spot on!! Amazing!
Wow, i literally bought my first tuning fork yesterday for some Chakra therapy work i’m doing and i have no real knowledge about this whole field other than being a musician so i play with frequencies a lot, Tibetan singing bowls lead me onto them as a healing modality but do Singing bowls work in a similar fashion? The actual catalyst for all this was Poly Vagal Theory, once i learned that trauma was stored up in the CNS and could be shifted i knew i had to learn more about this whole field, it’s really fascinating. 🙂
Good afternoon Moon. I just stumbled on your YouTube page and found your website. I am a somatic parts/IFS/EMDR at the beginning of my career. I am just learning about tuning forks and purchased my first crystal chakra bowl. I am also a registered yoga teacher (ten years), so I am familiar with the language you are using.. somewhat. Do you have printables of the material you are using in this article for me to study or to share with my clients in my therapy office? Thank you!!
HI, I am wondering as I just started using tuning forks, what is the item attached to your tuning fork that makes it easier to handle and move on your body. As I would like to purchase one like it, but I do not know what it is called. Thank you and may the Light Peace and Love surround you and heal you daily.
What a very wonderful explanation. Rounded, smooth, simple and beautiful connections to make a picture about. I will follow you. I am based TCM structural and somatic Practitioner. I just recently started including Frequency work on people after knowing about the energetic field since a young age. Thank you so much for sharing!
I’m curious if it makes much difference which frequency you would use for this type of healing modality. I just bought a Solfeggio set of 9 and am so excited to learn and play with what works well. I’m sure it will be different for every “body”, but wondering if there are more frequently used techniques based on specific frequencies.
Love your explanation 🙏🏽 Thorough yet succinct! Question: What is happening to the sadness that’s hovering around the right shoulder once the tuning for entrains it? It is transmuted? Or just covered up with a healthier sound? Do I still need to work on it on a mental level? I’m brand new to this and I don’t understand what’s actually happening
