The thing is when we feel she changed her personality completely, we’re not comparing 18 vs 30. If you see the interviews from 2003 and 2005, it’s completely different. In 2003 she was very confident, and has her personality, but all of sudden in 2005, she seemed very shy and girly in front of camera, like completely different.
Don’t put anything past these creatures who pull the strings. It’s all about $ to these heathens. Just because she’s using her higher register more when singing versus before (lower register) doesn’t mean she’s a different person. She has a pretty wide range, so it’s not surprising that she can tweak her voice easily. She has matured. C’mon now guys. I’ve changed a lot. Personally, looking back when I was 19 years old, I feel like I was a different person. I changed a lot (personal growth). Accusing her of having a clone is just ridiculous. As someone who looked up to Avril since I was a kid, I know that Avril today is not the real one. You can’t fool me!! She was my inspiration growing up. When I was a teenager I always wore my hair in a centre parting because that was the fashion and it was always poker straight too, we literally ironed our hair (with a clothes iron, not a pair of straighteners). Now I wear my hair in a side parting mostly because it looks better, I don’t care about it being totally straight either. I wasn’t even emo/goth at school and I’ve changed my style loads, I see people who were full on goth in school who have lip fillers, long false nails, hair done, tanned, the lot. Lacked a bit more research. Forgot to mention how she had vocal training after her first album, which is why her voice sounds a bit different. Due to that her pitch changed because the way she was singing before was unsustainable for a long term career. She also didn’t take a “break for a few years”, she had Lyme disease which is why she was off the grid for so long. A lot of songs in her second album were supposedly dedicated to her grandfather whom passed away. Regarding her mother, who knows! Maybe she didn’t have the best relationship with her parents during her teen/young adult years. You can’t claim her distance from her family is the reason she’s dead. Let’s not forget make up does wonders, and photoshop, because that never changes. You can’t look sixteen forever. People change, it’s part of life and growing up. I never heard about this conspiracy theory, however for some reason I stopped listening to her and even I stop liking her after her second album “Under my Skin”. I was a huge fan of Avril Lavigne when I was 16-17 and so on. She’d just released Let Go and she was everything I ever wanted to be. I got really disappointed when she released The Best Damn Thing and, before that, when she started changing her hair and clothes. But as much I loved her younger self, I never ever thought this wasn’t the same person. I, myself, changed a lot over the years, and I had my girly years as well. You can’t expect someone to be the same person they were when they were teens. It’s unnatural. Do I wish she’d followed a different path style-wise? Absolutely. But this crap is so unnecessary.

She has Lyme Disease and co-infections as do I. It will make your voice change because I sing as well depending on what kind of audio I’m using, I sound different. Also I have lesions in my throat and yes it does change my voice at times. Shania Twain has it too and it’s changed her voice and she’s even said this and how long she has to warm up now to even sing. Also with age, your voice is going to change. Also with the eyes, I have issues with those as well. Sometimes they will protrude and other times they won’t sometimes one is bigger than the other and I forget the medical term but it’s because of these infections. Literally everything that has been said in this article can be explained by that. It will change your appearance too because I can see in my pics how sometimes I look different. I think people are just grasping at straws. She fell off because she has Lyme disease and was debilitated and bedridden by it and almost died. Every physical thing that has been addressed can be caused by Lyme disease and confections. As far as height, it can change. I have spondylosis of the spine from this and it’s doing the same thing to me. I lost half an inch in my 20s. As far as way she dresses and her boyfriends or whoever.. I change my style all the time and I don’t even have a style him in. Look how many times people like Madonna have transformed themselves. That’s just kind of ridiculous to me. Punk music has punk followers and what do punks do…? They rebel. The realization that Avril is a follower and not a trend setter leads her fans to get upset, start rumors which leads to conspiracy theories. But you do what you gotta do to keep up and stay current. This whole conspiracy thing is keeping her current as well. It’s very creepy and ridiculous, but it’s not exactly negative… it’s mysterious and intriguing. If everyone just accepted Elvis’s death then would he be trending with a hit movie in 2022? All the great ones (alive or dead) have conspiracy theories. Again, I think Avril is smart and realizes this, hence why she just laughs it off and doesn’t comment much either way.
I’ve had a snap change multiple times. As a kid I grew up listening to pop and loving pink, as a teenager I cut my hair scene, wore only black and thick eyeliner and listened to rock and heavy rock. Did you know the position of the camera can change how your facial features look. Avril’s voice changed because she had at least 2 voice coaches not to mention all performances don’t sound the same in every building/studio plus the type of equipment like speakers and microphones. She used to have acne (proactiv commercial). everyone’s style changes when they age. If you are fair skinned you can develope freckles. She went through Lyme disease. She went through a few deaths in her life I believe her grandfather and a close friend. Troubled relationships and depression. When you see photos of her at 17 she has closed lipped brooding look in others her lips are parted and a bit pouty. As far as her nose I think it’s just the position of the camera lots of people do it. I look like Pinocchio if the angle is wrong in my pictures 😆 these are just things I’ve noticed.
As an adult with DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) or what we called “Multiple Personality Disorder” back in the day… My appearance, voice, handwriting, and behavior have (and do) change drastically over the years, including gender transition. I am five people. Perhaps Avril is a multiple. Uncommon, but far more likely than a clone. And maybe she is not comfortable disclosing if so. Integration is a challenging thing. I was fortunate to have a therapist who was a Holocaust survivor begin working with me at the age of 8. Many people work through their own integration and identities without realizing or recollection of how others perceive them. It would likely make her or anyone with DID nervous or anxious to be called out for the obvious shifts in multiple identities. If it’s unmanaged, those with DID feel powerless and empty and it can look like mania or even apparently cloning. Lawd I pray not. 😂🙏

The eye difference is obvious in the articles. That could be makeup and lighting but it is pretty significant. Also the tone of the voice…although age, maturity, and life can cause a lot of changes to a person. From a teenager to traveling the world and being exposed to the world can be very alternating. It is a crazy theory.
I watched her articles last night from start to now, and all her interviews. Avril always knew she wanted to sing. She hated her Mom making her wear dresses, and fixing her hair. My issue with the conspiracy is she doesnt look like she aged a day.. Her face and bone structer look different. that could all be make up plastic surgery etc. But the drastic change does throw me off a bit. Its not just avril that this clone theory is applied to. Its very common. And its hollywood. They are experts at deception. Idk what to believe. One thing thats true for certain is combining the stress of fame and death. I loved Avril when she first came out. I didnt believe this theory when i first read about it. But now that i have looked into it more idk. What is weird is people have always said i look like her……but it wasnt until her change in 2004. I just want to know what happened. Its like her soul literally changed. Her whole aura. Her voice. Her style. I dont know why this theory just makes me so sad. Personally i always thought she just sold out hardcore after her second album which is whatever. My mind never went to a person replacing her lol. But now that it has it drives me crazy. I believe people can change of course. I think most level headed people know it’s a hoax. However, this is definitely an interesting and creepy conspiracy. Seriously, the more you look into it the more you almost believe it. Just weird overall. But I think the biggest counter argument is that people just age and mature over time. Things change. But this is definitely a creepy concept.
