The Mystic Forge has a wide variety of recipes and is best known for its ability to upgrade equipment rarity, promote crafting materials, and create legendary weapons. It is a popular crafting station with access points in various locations. The copper-fed on white-green-blue items and the mystic kit on rare items are recommended, as the mystic kit has better returns.

Well, expecting a perkursor from rares is a bit slim. Exotics is what you need and should use when chasing the percursor from Mystic Toilet. As 8 year veteran I would like to share an old method that involves – dungeons. See, the Mystic Toilet doesn’t care if your weapon is soulbound, account bound or any of that. Meaning, you can buy or get a weapon for karma or dungeon money and still use it in the Mystic Forge. So this method involves frequently playing Dungeons and accumulating dungeon money to buy as much dungeon weapons that you can, which are exotic quality, and use those to get some real chance of getting a perkursor from the Toilet. Back when Dungeons were played more this was discovered and IS working. Rarity of the item you put in will increase the chance to get the higher tier. Just like when you got an exotic(orange) from 4 rare(yellow) rifles @ 3:10 Also note that you can use 3 rifles and a Mystic forge stone, if you have those, to save resource. Hope this helps, cheers
