Agility is a crucial stat in World of Warcraft, improving armor rating, dodge chance, and critical hit chance with melee or ranged attacks. It is used by Rogues and Hunters to determine their abilities. Agility increases ranged and melee attack power for some classes, increases Armor rating, increases Dodge chance, and increases Critical Strike chance when attacking with a weapon. As a Hunter, 1 Agility gives you 2 ranged Attack Power, 1 melee AP, a small increase to your chance to critically strike (~53 Agility = 1 Crit Chance), 2 armor, and a bonus of 2 ranged Attack Power per point of Agility.
Agility is the most important stat for most leather armor and mail armor-wearing classes in the damage-dealing or tank role. It grants ranged attack critical strike chance, but not attack power for wands. The World of Warcraft Classic Stats Guide explains what each Primary Attribute does: Strength, Intellect, Agility, Stamina, and Spirit.
Agility increases melee and ranged attack power, and is the most important stat for most leather armor and mail armor-wearing classes in the damage-dealing or tank role. It grants ranged attack critical strike chance, but not attack power for wands.
Choosing the Agility Specialization grants you 1 attack power per point of Agility, which increases melee and ranged critical strike chance. Agility is a members-only skill that gives access to various shortcuts around RuneScape and other benefits, including faster run energy restoration.
Damage is not increased by agility, but wands are considered ranged weapons, so crit chance for wands is increased by agility. Strength and Agility are playable out of turn, so buffing other characters is possible. However, the tooltips of Agility need to be written in another language to better understand its benefits.

Do ranged spells have disadvantage?
In the event that a ranged attack is made with a weapon or spell, the attacker is at a disadvantage on the Attack roll if they are within 5 feet of a hostile creature who can see them.
Can a marksman be an archer?
The term “marksman” was first used in the Middle Ages to refer to royal archers or bowmen of a palace guard, an elite group of troops chosen to guard royal palaces or royalty. In the Australian Army, marksmanship is recognized by the award of one of three skill-at-arms badges: the “Skill at Arms Badge”, which consists of crossed. 303 Short Magazine Lee–Enfield (SMLE) rifles, and the “Sniper’s Badge”, which incorporates the letter “S” and is awarded to soldiers who qualify on the Army Sniper’s Course.
The “Army Top 20 Badge” is awarded to the final 20 competitors in the annual Champion Shot for the Army, with the winner also receiving the Champion Shots Medal. In the British Armed Forces, “marksman” is traditionally the highest shooting rating, and holders may wear a crossed rifles badge on the lower sleeve.
Does archery fighting style work with ranged spells?
It should be noted that the Archery Fighter Style bonus does not apply to Eldritch Blast, as it is exclusively associated with ranged weapon attacks. It should be noted that the game may contain content that is not appropriate for all age groups. This may include general mature content, as well as nudity or sexual content. Does agility affect marksman in Morrowind?
Agility is the governing attribute for Block, Light Armor, Marksman, and Sneak, affecting your weapon ability, ability to use Sneak, Security, and Block skills, maximum fatigue, and resistance against staggering. It also affects character creation and edit, with starting values varying by race and gender. Some classes have Agility as a favored attribute, receiving a +10 bonus. These skills provide bonuses to raising Agility during leveling up, not necessarily enhancing the character’s abilities.
Does sharpshooter work with ranged spell attacks?
The spell “Sharpshooter” is applicable only to spells that require an attack with a ranged weapon. It is most effectively utilized in scenarios where the player has the advantage or is able to ignore cover. In such cases, the advantage effectively negates the -5 penalty. The Sharpshooter ability may be applied to multiple attacks, as it is applied prior to initiating an attack.
Do ranged spell attacks have disadvantage?
In the event of a ranged attack with a weapon or spell, the attacker is at a disadvantage on the Attack roll if they are within 5 feet of a hostile creature who can see them and is not incapacitated.
Do ranged spells have disadvantage underwater?
Water attacks are disadvantaged due to the difficulty of forceful clubbing or hitting targets from a distance. Players must roll two d20s and take the lower of the two results, with exceptions like spears, tridents, daggers, javelins, and weapons that work by piercing. Melee weapons have a disadvantage as they are difficult to strike with force due to water resistance. Ranged weapons are also disadvantaged as they are rendered useless outside of their normal range, making them difficult to use. In D and D 5e, a disadvantage means the player must roll two d20s and take the lower of the two results.
What does it take to be a good marksman?
The four fundamentals of marksmanship are as follows: maintaining a steady position, aiming, controlling one’s breathing, and squeezing the trigger. These fundamentals involve selecting a stance, position, and grip that provide a stable firing platform.
Do ranged attacks use dexterity?
Shortbows are a versatile weapon that can be used with both hands and have two range increments. They have a range of 80/320, meaning attacks roll as normal out to 80 feet or 16 squares, and disadvantageous up to 320 feet or 64 squares. The weapon also has an Ammunition tag, requiring players to keep track of their arrows. These weapons are useful in small spaces where long range is not visible on the battlemap.
Why is sharpshooter so good?
Mastering ranged weapons allows for more effective shots and a disadvantage on attack rolls. Sharpshooter increases the tension of attacks by making them harder to hit but delivering more damage. It’s a good choice for rangers who frequently use ranged weapons and have multiple bonuses to compensate for the -5 penalty. Sharpshooter is beneficial for consistently ignoring cover, attacking from long range, and receiving a damage boost. However, the damage bonus doesn’t scale, so it’s not as beneficial at later levels. The range and cover are great on their own, making it a great choice for those who regularly use ranged weapons.
Is marksman better than sharpshooter?
In general, “sharpshooter” and “marksman” are synonymous, but they each refer to different levels of skill in specialized fields of shooting sports and military usage. In the US Army, “marksman” is a rating below “sharpshooter” and “expert”. Four levels of skill are recognized in American military and civilian shooting circles: unqualified, marksman, sharpshooter, and expert. Marksmanship badges for the three qualified levels are awarded to both civilian and military shooters who attain proficiency in shooting higher than “unqualified”.
Military marksmen and snipers differ in that marksmen are typically part of a fireteam of soldiers and are never expected to operate independently away from the main force. Snipers are special ops troops who work alone or in small teams with independent mission objectives. Within the military, marksmen are sometimes attached to an infantry fireteam or squad, providing accurate long-range shots at valuable targets.
The term “marksman” was first used in the Middle Ages to refer to royal archers or bowmen of a palace guard, an elite group of troops chosen to guard a royal palace or royalty.

The best tip i can say to any level play is to spend the gp on your stats! Its not worth hording gold just to have a big green stack or spending your bank on somthing like bandos tassests when you dont have somthing like piety its well worth spending that gp on like bursting your mage or chinning range or getting 77 pray and rigour and augury or even getting like 83 construction gp will come and go but the stats are what you really want! And the higher the stats the faster gp comes too ❤

I came back from a very long break since 2012. I cam back March this year and the first thing i did was to actually beat Jad to hype me up again. And i defeated him on 3rd try, now im fully back. With new bosses introduced, Jad is an introduction compare to a lot of bosses. Beating him would give you a whole new level of confidence. Now im stacking Zulrah with my lvl 88 combat. I can do 2 kills easy per run, thats 150k-200k per 5 mins.
I’d also probably recommend unlocking void gear sets once you complete medium combat diary just for the extra points to save time from that grind. I personally found the void gear to be fairly helpful in a variety of content from zulrah to some grandmaster quests (can also be used in earlier ToA if you want to make gp whilst learning raids). Also makes elite void a nice goal for those comfortable learning zulrah
Wildy money makers. E I’d rather not deal with PKers. I have zero positive experiences doing anything in the wilderness. Whenever i have to do something like a clue step, i just try to get in and get out asap, and the whole time it’s a ride through the main road of anxiety town. I seriously hate how many mid-level bosses have to be in the wildy, because some asshat who will kill you and exclaim something cringy like “im warrior” is inevitably gonna ruin it.
ngl as much as I love these guides and the chunkman series you’re doing I’d love to see the typo articles you do at shortcat be implemented here, like random challenges I guess, I feel like you have ur way with live commentary makes a simple challenge or like a random article idea so much more entertaining
it’s a crazy grind, but well worth it – if you work solid getting construction to 99 as quickly as possible – you then you can teleport around the map from where ever you are using the cape. this will save you hours of running and a lot of gp in the long run i did it all the way on an account with mahogany homes, the only thing i did in between was farming, but only when i had a contract in that town. which wasn’t that expensive overall. if i remember rightly, i got to level 50, bought 40k teak and 4k steel from exchange, and had quite a bit of those left over which i sold because of the reward boxes after getting the construction outfit. getting the spell to talk to npc from anywhere and obtaining the plank sack are advised to get as soon as possible. on the side while doing it, the farming will gain you a nice amount of wood which you can either burn or fletch. as well as herbs to make potions and food for cooking it was a long grind, i was at it for a couple of months, but i am now spending a lot less time doing things, being able to teleport everywhere – practically for free =)
for those getting back into it or are new to osrs…I have played since 2004 and when I tell you. If you dont set goals for yourself. you will hamper yourself into mid/early game for ages. Also, dont worry about getting expensive or end game items right away. progress, otherwise you are throwing away money at stuff that really isnt to much better than budget builds. I have an eye popping bank but I still do slayer tasks in budget stuff and boss slayer tasks in end game gear. Also, save up for construction. It is a massive money sink but it pays off in ways you cant imagine later on from free teleports to everywhere you want to go, fairy rings, medallion to korend. Finally. Achievement diary. get base 70 all stats and start working on that achievement diary ASAP. So many quality of life stuff comes from that armor set and rewards.
I feel like such a noob. Can never get the jad. I even got Sins of the Father done, not Jad. I think it’s something psychological, even if I take a break before Jad I get psyched out and I can never get the prayer swaps straight. and add movement into it? every guide says get the healers in a weird straight line. I struggle pathing my character around obstacles now lmao.
How I got out of Mid-Game as someone who is very bad at Combat: Get Hard Falador Diary —> Kill Giant Mole in Falador Park (pray melee, make or buy Bullseye Lantern) and grind grind grind. Exchange noted items to the Gardener in the building to the West for Nests, Crush nests, sell crushed nests. Stick to melee until you can afford An Abyssal whip; price keeps dropping, you’ll be able to afford on in a few hours of grinding. Mole takes no skill, it’s follow him and grind it out.
I really like the concept of these type of articles. But the example given are really weird to me. Finishing perilous moons is so far off from getting dragon defender. I’d like to get more stats / a story around what the midgame is. Got my d def as soon as possible, around 62att and 68 strenght. I am at 80 att and 83 strength now but periolous moons is such a hassle. The bloodmoon is way too strong to really enjoy and grind out periolous moons. I dont feel like this belongs in midgame, unless you’re saying that midgame is 90 in all melee stats.
