A birth chart, also known as a natal chart, is a snapshot of the position of the planets on the exact day, time, and location of your birth. It contains powerful information about your life and the planets you are born to. However, a progressed chart does not mean your zodiac sign has changed. At some point during that time, your progressed Sun, which represents your conscious energy, may change.
A relocation chart can never replace the birth chart, but it represents a shift in your energy and adds a layer of understanding. Astrologers create a “relocated chart” by relocating the planets to the new location. The natal chart is personal and permanent, the cosmic DNA, an astronomical fingerprint. While the planets are constantly on the move, the natal chart does not change.
A progressed astrology chart maps out slow changes that happen over the course of one’s life. By care, planning, and hard work, one’s results may also change. A birth chart, also known as a natal chart, is dependent on the date, time, and location of your birth. The degrees and signs of the planets remain the same, just in a different format.
While the planets are constantly on the move, the natal chart does not change. Our natal charts do evolve over time through “progression”, which is the gradual forward movement of our charts over time.
In conclusion, a birth chart changes throughout your life, with the birth chart changing every four minutes. Understanding your astrological signs and their meanings is crucial for personal growth and understanding.

Does astrology signs change?
An astrological controversy emerged online following the publication of a newspaper article that incorrectly asserted a shift of approximately one month in the dates associated with the Zodiac signs. This misrepresentation prompted a significant reaction from millions of believers, who experienced feelings of panic and doubt. In a statement, astrologers confirmed that the signs remain unchanged and that the article in question was published in error. The controversy originated from a newspaper article that misled millions of believers.
Did astrology charts change?
NASA has refuted allegations that it has modified the zodiac to incorporate a 13th astrological sign. The agency asserts that the alteration is not a modification of the zodiac itself, but rather an augmentation of a sign that has been excluded since Babylonian times.
Why did my astrology chart change?
The “day for a year” formula indicates that the movement of planets on a given day represents the movement of progressed planets over the course of a year. This information, when considered alongside other factors such as common sense, past life events, and intuition, enables astrologists to provide accurate predictions and readings based on the progression of a person’s chart.
How often does your astrology chart change?
A-day-for-a-year progression, also known as Major progression and Secondary direction, involves moving a person’s natal chart forward one day for each year of their life. This is considered the most important form of progression by most astrologers. For example, a person born on April 2, 1982, would have a progressed chart for 2007 based on the position of the planets on April 27, 1982. The patterns formed 25 days after the person’s birth are considered symbolic of their 25th year of life and indicate potential tendencies and trends for the year.
A-degree-for-a-year progression, also known as Solar arc direction, involves moving the entire natal chart forward one degree for each year. This creates a chart of planetary positions that never existed in real life. The name “solar arc progression” comes from the sun’s movement of about one degree a day, making the planets “made to follow” the sun. Astrologers often use this method as an additional source of information in conjunction with secondary progression.
Can astrology be trusted?
Astrology is a belief system that suggests a connection between astronomical phenomena and human events or personality descriptions. However, it has been criticized by the scientific community for lacking explanatory power and lack of scientific validity. Scientific testing has found no evidence to support the premises or effects outlined in astrological traditions. The most famous test, led by Shawn Carlson, concluded that natal astrology performed no better than chance.
Astrology has not demonstrated its effectiveness in controlled studies and has no scientific validity, making it regarded as pseudoscience. There is no proposed mechanism by which stars and planets affect people and events on Earth in the way astrologers claim, which contradicts well-understood aspects of biology and physics.
Are zodiac signs change in 2024?
In 2024, two new zodiac signs, Ophiuchus and Cetus, are proposed by astrology. Ophiuchus, located between Scorpio and Sagittarius, is related to Greek mythology and is compatible with Pisces, Aries, Cancer, Scorpio, and Sagittarius. It interacts very little with Earth’s orbit, affecting the distribution, elements, and dates of other signs. The idea was first floated by Steven Schmidt in 1970 and validated by NASA.
Are astrology predictions always correct?
Astrology predictions have never been more accurate than those expected by chance alone, and blind experimentation has been used to test astrology quantitatively. Michel Gauquelin, a renowned astrologer and psychologist, in 1955 found positive correlations between the diurnal positions of planets and success in professions, such as doctors, scientists, athletes, actors, writers, and painters. This is known as the “Mars effect”.
A study by seven French scientists attempted to replicate this claim, but found no statistical evidence. They attributed the effect to selective bias on Gauquelin’s part. Geoffrey Dean suggests that the effect may be caused by self-reporting of birth dates by parents, rather than any issue with Gauquelin’s study. A small subset of parents may have changed birth times to be consistent with better astrological charts for a related profession.
The sample group was taken from a time where belief in astrology was more common, and Gauquelin had failed to find the Mars effect in more recent populations. The number of births under astrologically undesirable conditions was also lower, indicating more evidence that parents choose dates and times to suit their beliefs.
What happens every 12 years in astrology?
Astrological transits, which occur when a transiting planet returns to the same point in the sky as it occupied at birth, are a significant aspect of predictive astrology. These transits indicate phases in an individual’s life where their potential is given opportunities for development, whether through favorable or unfavorable circumstances.
Modern astrologers argue that astrology does not reveal fate or patterns that are “written in stone”, but rather reveals a person’s strengths, weaknesses, talents, and opportunities. The horoscope does not determine the future, but shows possible paths that the individual can choose between.
Modern astrologers argue that no planetary aspect brings a fate that cannot be counteracted in some way and some benefit derived from it. What actual events happen are largely dependent upon the freedom of choice of the individual. The role of the astrologer is to create self-knowledge and awareness of the movement of the planets and their meaning, allowing the individual to make reasoned and sensible life choices.
In summary, modern astrologers do not attempt to predict actual future events or claim that the future is mapped out and determined. Instead, they focus on revealing a person’s strengths, weaknesses, talents, and opportunities, and helping them make informed decisions based on their astrological transits.

Which type of astrology chart is most accurate?
The Vedic chart is the most accurate, as it aligns the zodiac with the constellations using the sidereal zodiac, whereas the Western chart, created around 275 CE, uses the tropical zodiac, which was once considered to be accurate.

Moving certainly opened up more opportunities and pleasurable experiences. Of course I felt the same person, but much more content and stabilized, than my home country, which was directly on a moon line! I have cross checked every place I have visited with Astro cartography descriptions and I would say it’s about 95% accurate for me
Yes, thank you Steven for making it clear and real. Relocation chart should be seen as transits indeed and we should not confuse it with natal chart which is our mission, the reason why we are here!! 🙌 Moving to another place should be something that our soul urges us to do and not to change our natal chart. For example, I am in the need to explore countries where communities are living closer together, where harmony and kindness predominate..etc. So I feel drawn to countries in Asia. Jupiter is exact on the DC angle in Bali which is great because it is connected with my soul urge in the natal chart with the north node in Sagittarius in 7th house.. that’s how I connect the natal to relocation. First check the potential in the natal, then follow your intuition and go explore the places and then you can look at your relocation chart and astrocartography for confirmation.
I definitely had to do a relocation chart after I did move from my natal area and it did give me insight in terms of certain health conditions being activated that would not have been activated had I stayed where my natal chart originated, however, it is indicated in my natal chart that I’m going to relocate, so the health issue was already reflected in my natal chart, but was activated in part by relocation. A number of other good things happened too, but we can’t get fixated on avoiding a specific health condition because our karma and dharma are our priority.
The eastern and western Astro charts are really different for me, the signs, houses and thus implications. I think when I am in the west I am following their Astro. I believe that’s why we are different and have varied success in different places. It does change oneself somehow. I’m not an astrologer. Just aware of my Astro and myself. Interesting. It may even be something entirely different who knows!
I came here looking for answers. I did my natal chart for the first time about 5 years ago and have been adamant about learning more about those placements and how they influence my waking life. Something prompted me to do my natal chart today and some how my moon sign has changed. Everything else is the same. Has anyone else experienced anything like this recently? I gather it has something to do with a change in certain planetary alignments happening on this timeline.
It’s random but not pointless. It’s random on the individual level but not the collective. The randomness creats diversity and opposing powers and other ones that are harmonious all for the sake of evolution of life on planet earth where non of us as individuals really matters the only thing that matters is the continuation of “Project Life”
With that explanation, aren’t you tearing down the foundation of A*C*G? Because if we start from the assumption that it is not possible to outwit fate based on where you are, then why move anywhere? Isn’t it more realistic to meet fate where you are? At least, in my experience: I spent a year in Mexico and it didn’t help me at all to face vital issues. On the other hand, no matter how much one goes to live in a place crossed by a line of Jupiter or the Sun, if one has that Jupiter square to Mars or the Sun square to Neptune, those same problems will appear in those other places. By the way, if I were to heed my ACG map, the “easiest” places for me would be in sub-Saharan Africa. I don’t see myself traveling to those places even by mistake (maybe that’s why astrology is said to be so “Uranian”…).

Can houses change ? ..does not house will move with us ? ..i am really thinking for this but can’t at the moment . .. I want to worship all 9 gharas for reliving all bad effects ..but i think of Vishnu or Shiva ..why not worship them if they control the universe.! So should I worship Vishnu or navgrahas daily
Excellent concept….I am astonished observing your depth of thinking level and your intellect. May mahadev bless you a lot Purab. But in Ariese ascendent if ascendant lord Mars is in 8th house, 9th lord Jupiter is in 7th and all rest of the planets are occupied in the 6th house. Now based on this miraculous concept, I have changed my location since long, but due to my shifting my 12th house has become my ascendent and sign is Pieces now, but again due to this concept new ascendant lord Jupiter also goes in the 8th house, and most of the planets other than moon and Rahu ketu shares 7th house in this case how should I take the decision. Purab what are the ways to cross check it, whether al planets have started working as per new birth chart whose lagn is the vyay bhav of the original birth chart, after several years of migration.
What if Saturn is Debilitated for Taurus ascendant in 12th house. When I go from Mumbai to Bangalore as IT employee, I faced many health issues mainly related to gut and immunity. Then I resigned from that organization, now came back to home town Mumbai. I don’t know what to do with my life as I have given up even before trying the best & facing the worst due to too much knowledge & overthinking on Astrology.
Sir, after seeing lot of YouTube astrology articles i am quite depressed as some say my sign pieces is like no planets give good result and is hopeless.Sir for me i couldn’t save any money i made like it comes and goes like for years. Also little troubles with wife. Some say problem with venus exalted in 12house along with Mercury and Mars.If i go some place will there be a change?
Sir My Ascendent is gemini, Sat in 10 pisces and jupiter( debiliated) in 8th capri then if 12th house becomes first house so does My ascendant act as Taurus and My jupiter comes in Sagitarius and Saturn in Aquarius? Or My asc remain Gemini but I have to calculate it from 12 house perspective which breaks debility of Jupiter and places it in 9th house and saturn is placed in 11 house aeries debiliated. Which one will take place. I just wanted to know as I am a bit confused and unclear. Please throw some light sir. Thank You🙏
