Does The Sage Mode Of Naruto Stack With The Chakra Or Base Of Kurama?

Naruto’s Six Paths Sage Mode is a powerful ability that can be stacked with his Nine-Tails Chakra Mode, providing faster access to Nature Energy. Kurama informs Naruto that this mode can be used to enhance his abilities, but it is not possible to combine it with his Nine-Tails Chakra Mode.

Sage Mode is a central and powerful ability in Naruto, with different types and methods of acquisition. It uses sage chakra, which is created by absorbing the power of Kurama. Naruto can combine his Nine-Tails Chakra Mode and its various forms with Sage Mode to further enhance his abilities. However, it is important to note that the modes do not stack, and the base chakra of Minato or Jiraya is already Kurama’s level, especially KCM.

After the death of Kurama, Naruto still has Six Paths Sage Mode, but he cannot generate Truth-Seeking Orbs as he did in Naruto Shippuden. After attaining Nine-Tails Chakra Mode before the Fourth Shinobi World War, he began stacking Sage Mode on top of it. The two modes look similar, but SPSM is a better version, while SM + Kurama is more like a failed attempt.

This jutsu allows the user to utilize sage chakra, increase maximum health, boost attack, defense, and more. However, it is important to note that the modes do not stack, and they differ in terms of their respective powers and acquisition methods.

Does Naruto use Kurama chakra in Sage Mode?

Naruto’s Nine-Tails Chakra Mode is a unique transformation granted to jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails, enhancing their abilities with the power of senjutsu. The mode coats the user’s body in yellow chakra, resembling flickering flames. The form’s design varies between users but is consistent across all forms, including two horns on the head, six magatama markings around the neck, a prominent circular/swirl design over the stomach, and other lines along the body.

The mode enhances the user’s physical abilities, with greater enhancements coming from using more of the Nine-Tails’ chakra. Naruto Uzumaki can defeat members of the White Zetsu Army with a single kick and dodge the Fourth Raikage using his Lightning Release: Body Flicker Technique. The chakra surrounding the user also protects them from damage, allowing them to take lava and boil-based attacks and suffer only minor injuries. Naruto can even survive Tenpenchii due to his protective cloak, though the cloak is lost in the process.

Does Naruto have the same amount of chakra as Kurama?

Given that Naruto possesses a greater quantity of chakra than Kurama, it can be inferred that Kurama’s life came to an end at an earlier point in time.

Can Naruto enter Sage Mode without Kurama?

It is erroneous to suggest that Naruto requires the presence of Kurama in order to utilise Six Paths Sage Mode in Boruto. This is because he still maintains a mental connection with all other tailed beasts.

Can Naruto use all 5 chakra natures without Kurama?

Naruto, the Seventh Hokage of Konohagakure, is a powerful character in Boruto, known for his mighty powers and ability to control all five nature transformations. Despite losing his biggest source of power, Kurama, in his fight against Isshiki Otsutsuki, Naruto remains powerful and has an arsenal of abilities to use to devastating effect. In the Fourth Great Ninja War, Naruto was gifted half the power of the Sage of Six Paths, which increased his strength several times.

This power can be used with or without tapping into Kurama’s chakra, making him a threat to most characters. Despite his weakness, Naruto’s arsenal of abilities makes him a formidable opponent in Boruto.

Does Naruto get Kurama's full chakra?

Does Naruto get Kurama’s full chakra?

Naruto, after forming a bond with Kurama, gained access to the full power of Kurama, granting him the Kurama Chakra Mode, which made him stronger than any other Tailed Beast. This enabled him to defeat five Tailed Beasts simultaneously, proving his role as the protagonist. As their coordination improved, the Kurama Chakra Mode became Naruto’s go-to form for smaller fights, such as against Obito Uchiha and Hinata Hyuga. Naruto also shared his chakra with allies, like Hinata Hyuga using the Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm.

Since their bond, Naruto gained access to the Tailed Beast Mode, allowing him to take on the Nine-Tails’ full appearance and fight larger targets more efficiently. This form also grants him access to the Tailed Beast Ball, one of Naruto’s strongest Jutsu abilities.

Does Kushina have more chakra than Naruto without Kurama?

Given his status as a half Uzumaki, it would be reasonable to posit that Naruto should possess a lesser degree of chakra than either Kushina or Mito. Madara utilized Gedô Mazô to absorb the Nine Tails, which resulted in Naruto losing consciousness, whereas Kushina was capable of combat without the Nine Tails.

Is Naruto chakra infinite?

Is Naruto chakra infinite?

A ninja has a maximum amount of chakra that they can form and use before it runs out, which can be increased with practice. However, they are limited by their genetics, which can limit their ability to handle the amount of chakra. If a body is given more chakra than it can handle, it could potentially be killed. On the other hand, if someone runs out of chakra, they risk death.

Each person’s chakra has a unique signature, which sensor type ninja can detect. Chakra signatures are passed genetically, allowing a person’s clan to be identified by their chakra. Over time, entire populations can have perceptibly different chakra. One’s chakra signature can be altered by absorbing DNA from multiple people, mixing various signatures together to create a new one.

In the anime, chakra signatures that are similar to each other resonate when near each other. Each person’s chakra also has a unique “color” that can be seen by those with dōjutsu.

Taijutsu, unlike most jutsu, does not require chakra to be performed; stamina is all that is needed. Regular taijutsu doesn’t require active moulding or manipulation of chakra, with few exceptions. A standard attack like a punch or kick falls into this technique category.

What is the weakest form of Naruto?

The list comprises the following forms: Kurama Mode, Nine-Tails Chakra Mode, Eight Tailed Form, Six Tailed Form, Sage Mode, Four Tailed Form, One Tailed Form, and Initial Jinchuriki Form.

Which Kurama is stronger, yin or yang?

Yin Kurama has the effect of enhancing Naruto’s physical abilities, but it has no significant impact on the form or projection of his jutsu, given that he already possesses the power of such abilities.

Is Naruto weak without Kurama now?

The character of Naruto is rendered significantly weaker in the absence of Kurama, as he is unable to utilise the kcm2 and gain access to six paths sage mode.

Hagoromo provided Naruto with the key to entry into SO6P, thus enabling him to gain access without the assistance of Kurama. As an Ashura reincarnate, he is able to gain entry to 6O6P independently, as the Sage has bestowed it upon him, rather than through Kurama.

  • I’m gonna throw my two cents in before the article and say Pain gets absolutely curb stomped by KCM1. Pain’s only real win condition is planetary devestation, though it comes down to wether or not he’d survive to use it (he wouldn’t in my opinion). Sage Naruto gets slapped by the Raikage, by Madara. Against Obito I actually think he’d do better than KCM 1 considering Frog Kumite wouldn’t be sensed by Obito, meaning he couldn’t really use Kamui effectively and considering base guy kept up with Obito (neither had any reason to hold back), Sage Naruto is just fine in terms of stats. I think he’d get overwhelmed by the reanimated tailed beast hosts. Itachi and Nagato are really interesting fights considering Nagato is the second most busted member of the Akatsuki. Naruto could summon for the rinnegan monsters, Frog Kumite is busted again. I don’t think the end result would change but it’s a different fight nonetheless. Tldr Sage Mode is busted.

  • I think Edo Nagato never used that sensing amp mode but that can have an explanation and is that Kabuto diden’t know Nagato was a sensory type (Itachi told Kabuto that Nagato found him sensing his chakra and Kabuto was like 🤨? Shit) I also don’t think that the AUTOMATIC mode of the edo Tensei can use moves that the caster of the technique diden’t programmed before with the tag.

  • Fun article. I’ll be honest, I don’t like the time limit Kishimoto put on sage mode for two reasons. First, there’s no time limit on the sharingan. Even if MS can’t be over used, the three tomoe sharingan can be used until chakra is fully depleted. Secondly, if sage mode is created by properly fusing and balancing nature energy with the body’s physical and spiritual energy, wouldn’t sage mode only run out when all the physical and spiritual energy run out seeing as they all need to be balanced. The logic doesn’t quite fit.

  • Good article. Another thing to note for Sage mode getting stronger is by the end of the series is that Naruto no longer has to hold back the Nine Tails trying to fuck up his chakra control..remember that Naruto became a perfect sage in spite of the nine tails constantly trying fight for control and mess up his own chakra control. Sage mode ties directly to the amount of chakra you have as I believe it’s just a matching of energy. So imagine you suddenly can access ALL of your chakra and no longer have to fight a massive chakra entity internally. Yeah. He’ll get a lot stronger and quicker with the draw 😂😂 people forget Naruto’s top3 chakra in the verse WITHOUT kurama.

  • AGGH!! I wanted this article before you even existed as a YouTuber! Also apologies my old YouTube account got BANNED and erased from the universe but THUNDER GOD IS THE ONE AND ONLY Naruto creator i truly fw like that. Gotta love Swag and Six but TG is THE nigga (ik ur race just accept it you’re my nigga xD). This mf does baki, Naruto, Asura, GoW, and more. Truly an underrated creator

  • One thing to note TG, is that between the pain fight, and GNW you can gauge how much time has passed based on Guy’s age in the data books. In the 3rd databook, which covers the pain arc, Guy is listed as 30 years old. His birthday is January 1st. While in the 4th databook, he’s listed as 31 years old which covers up to the Great War. Which only few days long. This implies the pain arc happened around the 4th quarter of the year. Although we don’t know the exact month it took place. With that said, let’s just hypothetically say it happened in December. From December to October, it’s been 10 months since pain the pain arc. This would mean Naruto had 10 months to train his sage mode. What gives credence to this is the insane feats he did against the Nine Tails and throughout the war. His sage mode simply progressed and got stronger off screen.

  • At this point I just can’t… you’ve missed literally zero times in like a year now and at this point I’m punch drunk. I’m tired of praising you, of hailing you as our lord and savior. Even Deadshot is getting lined up at this point, so I’ve decide imma just travel to every one of the comment sections apologizing your haters, because they might be out of business at this rate 🤷🏾‍♂️ Edit: I’m mad work got in the way of me perusal this immediately 💯

  • Off topic but where do you personally scale tobirama in speed im taking prime here so he’s faster than his edo self me personally I do subscribe to the fact that he is faster than alive hashirama and madara in his prime i mostly agree with loko scaling on him but what about you tobirama is one of those characters thank gets both overrated and underrated but I’ve mainly seen people saying he’s fodder a lot more which is crazy he’s one of the strongest characters in shippuden definitely at least top 20

  • If Kyūbi Mode goes to strike Gakidō instead of Gakidō being knocked out, Naruto might be pulled out of Kyūbi Mode like B was pulled out of Version 2 (which is arguably using more chakra than Naruto’s Kyūbi Mode since B has full access to Hachibi’s chakra in that state, whilst Naruto is only using a portion of Kurama’s (albeit, Kurama has more chakra to begin with), which can also apply to his own Version 2), and Gakidō still being in the fight by that point would then change other interactions as it would keep getting in the way of Naruto’s ninjutsu, so I would not say it is all comparable, and it mitigates the reach of his chakra arms. Also likely a moot point if one thinks that Kakashi got exponentially stronger, but Kakashi was keep pace if not outdoing Kyūbi Mode in the war, and Pain had no issue keeping up with him for the most part. 15:40 this should have been edited to mention the previously uploaded article, methinks. Naruto and Sasuke lost their Six Paths link after sealing Kaguya. Naruto might have internalized the ability to sense negative emotions through Kurama, though, as he seems to sense Momoshiki and Kinshiki’s arrival in base. Sage Mode might not be able to resist a soul pull long enough for Itachi’s Susanoo to recuse him compared to Kyūbi Mode. Kyūbi Mode trying to lift blocks shattered them outright, and Naruto obviously is aware of how to handle Sage Mode levels of strength, which may suggest Kyūbi Mode is physically stronger. Naruto entered Sage Mode instantly when trying to escape Genbu.

  • Yo TG! Thanks brother 🙏 I have been perusal naruto articles since the start of swagkage and swag got me addicted to these articles bro. I was legit sad when he stopped releasing articles because as I do like articles from other creators I was never hooked by there scaling and over all articles. But bro you have had me hooked again your articles and sick, your article topic 💯, and your scaling is top tier 👌 Also thanks for the swag article that was like my favourite collaboration article yet I hoped it would happen.

  • Wait finally someone has a take on sage mode that’s like mine Like boy my hot take on Naruto power scaling (or at least it seems like a hot take) People often seem to overstate the power difference between Kcm 1 and sage mode, often due to calcs and the fact that kcm 1 “seems stronger” and it is a little but not much stronger at all. Rather it seems to be on a similar level to sage mode maybe a little stronger but the advantages are more in other areas like stamina/duration and techniques/abilities and raw movement speed. Now let’s get into why 1st minato implies sage mode would not be enough to overcome the masked man and that Naruto would have to master the nine tails to be at that level. Kcm 1 isn’t Naruto mastering the ninetails. That’s Kcm 2 so that is what minato was likely referring to. This is supported by minato himself having Kcm 2 and therefore possibly knowing about it (if his sealed soul and fragment of chakra inside of Naruto share consciousness. Which they seem to as minato seems aware of that experience when he comes back.) 2: Kcm 1 and sage mode get interchanged a lot throughout the war arc this wouldn’t make sense unless the boost is in fact comparable and the primary difference is just movement speed and stamina which Kcm is better for. 3: Naruto uses sage mode to help him beat down kurama, Kcm 1 Naruto would be weaker than the kurama sage Naruto fought (as Kcm 2 is when he has all the power and has essentially mastered it by forming a friendship with kurama) Now sage Naruto had assistance from his mom and bee so he’d be a little weaker than kurama’s full power.

  • This may be a bit too much to ask, but it fascinates me, and I can’t find any place that goes in-depth about this. Would you mind making a article on the differences between Sage Mode and KCM, plus their respective power levels, and how they differ? Specifically, Sage Mode Naruto and KCM Naruto instead of Sage Mode vs. KCM, if that’s interesting or worthwhile.

  • Sage Naruto has better combat speed and better perception and precog, KCM has better movement speed, so in a way, Rock Lee vs Neji in part one, yes Lee moves faster, Neji Hits faster. Sage mode has better strength, but KCM can be used for longer and is more Ninjutsu focused, rather than Taijutsu focused like Sage.

  • Before perusal I wanna give my two cents: KCM seems to be the more versatile form. It has negative emotion sensing, superior speed, chakra arms that neg the need for clones to make rasengans and rasenshurikens at that point, and presumably Naruto also has the benefits of amped up regeneration since we’ve seen that Kurama’s chakra offers that. But Sage mode seems to be less costly to use, has the benefits of senjutsu-based precognition, and FAR better attack potency, at least until Naruto develops KCM2 The reason I give AP to sage mode is because the frog kata is shown and stated to be able to attack omnidirectionally without the need for physical contact, AND completely bypasses durability to destroy vital spots directly. So frog kata just has durability negation, full stop. Not only that, but sage mode can be replenished indefinitely, so long as Naruto can either find the time or finesse a clone elsewhere to charge him up. Lastly, Sage mode gives such a durability increase that even Pain, who was still vastly above Naruto by that point in their fight, was wary to approach Naruto until his sage mode was completely depleted; Naruto even expresses genuine doubt that Pain could even damage him while he had sage mode, and any time Naruto is using it, he straight up outclasses Pain in hand to hand. All of this to say I think KCM is faster and a lot more versatile, but sage mode is far superior by this point in terms of straight up combat.

  • Hmmm, the only issue with KCM vs pein is n9 having sage modes senses, he doesn5 have the ability to sense everything around him, he does have emotion sensing though, but he can’t sense all attacks. He can also get his energy absorbed by the preta path, that’s the only issue, sure he’s stronger and has more chakra for jutsu, but he loses the hacks.

  • The craziest argument I constantly see in Naruto powerscalers is that Hokage Summit Naruto and Sasuke are comparable. Naruto not only beat Pain but the gave Kurama the absolute BUSINESS around the same time as this arc… Sasuke bit way more than he could chew with the 5 kage and then low diffed Danzo who was a complete joke.

  • strenght: sage mode Speed: kcm Power: kcm Chakra: kcm Perception: sage mode Time limit: kcm Abilities: both IQ: same Battle IQ: sage mode (is it only me or does sage mode actually make naruto smarter?😅😂) Close range: sage mode Long range: kcm Limitations: kcm (sage mode has clones limitations) Durability: tbh idk, I guess sage mode?

  • Naruto at the time of his statment about sasuke was not aware of the uchiha’s going blind with over usage of the MS. Almost no one was at that point. As far as Naruto knew, sasuke could STILL activate his MS, and just probably didn’t do so because he was fatigued. People need to stop pretending that Naruto was talking about sasuke in his current state. Naruto was predicting a FUTURE battle between them. Where sasuke would no longer be fatigued. He has an idea of what sasuke is capable of so Naruto makes this statment based off of all of the crazy things sasuke pulled off in this arc because this is what Naruto IS aware of. He knows nothing about the MS yet. Also it’s a stretch to make the random assumption that Naruto is for some reason referring to hatred when he says he needs kuramas chakra to defeat sasuke. Honestly just sounds like cope to me. But hey tell yourselves whatever you need to help you sleep at night lol. Also using sasuke’s statment about needing Itachi’s eyes to claim he needed more power to defeat Naruto is extremely disingenuous. Sasuke says that he needs Itachi’s eyes because more than ANYTHING he needs to SEE… It’s amazing to me that almost everyone ignores the fact that sasuke is almost completely blind at the time of this statement…

  • KCM VS PAIN The Chameleon was shown to be able to caught KCM naruto off guard and is strong enough to contain him, so that’s an option thats another win condition for pain here, he can just remain invisible while the multiplying dogs make up for the amount of clones naruto has summoned. The elongated arms are just a weakness imo, Pain could just slam a rod in them and that would be enough to stun naruto and guarantee the win for pain. Naruto will definetly perform better but i think still could go either way… Well at least until pain gets his ability to summon his chibaku tensei and is truly over.

  • The only fight I somewhat disagree on is the Raikage one. SM Naruto has the best sensory in the show. With a strategy, he literally 1 shot the 3rd Raikage. I think if Naruto can deal with Pain, I think he’s toasting Raikage. Some smoke bombs and shadow clones feints and boom, a Rasengan barrage into Raikage’s back. GG

  • Also, since you asked our thoughts on Sage Mode vs 4th Raikage Aye; I personally lean towards Naruto winning that match up, mid diff. Firstly, we know that the Base Sannin should be above the Kage (multiple statements in series and in the databooks ro support this) and we know that Sage Mode Naruto is above Sage Mode Jiraiya who should be above the Base Sannin. So, Sage Mode Naruto>Sage Mode Jiraiya>Base Sannin>4th Raikage. Secondly, upon hearing of Pain’s defeat OM Obito tells MS Sasuke he’s no match for Naruto and it isn’t until after Sasuke has multiple power ups that Naruto (a Naruto who was accidentally poisened by one of the greatest medical ninja in the world at time, which NO ONE mentions BY THE WAY) considers Sasuke an equal. And just to have another quick scaling chain: Sage Mode Naruto~MS Sasuke>Danzo>4th Raikage Aye. I will say, I don’t think that the Sage Mode Naruto just wipes the floor with 4th Raikage Aye, but I do think he wins more often than not. Also, while he definitely had help from Mount Myoboku in the Pain fight, its not like summoning the toads is outside the question for him. He can summon these toads whenever he wants and Fukasaku in particular is incredibly overlooked considering he was physically brawling with Sage Mode Naruto on more or less equal footing. His only concern at the time being Naruto wasn’t taught Frog Kumite yet, since by his own words Naruto already mastered Sage Mode. All that to say, yea Naruto probably wins mid diff agaianst 4th Raikage Aye.

  • Low key, I think 4th Shinobi War Sage Mode Naruto walks the Raikage. If you take a shadow clone as being an equal fraction of the user’s chakra alongside all the other clones and the original, then a super small fraction of Naruto in Sage Mode beat the 3rd Raikage. Full power fresh all together real body Sage Mode Naruto would have to be performing so much better than even that.
