Keg and the Mighty Nein faced losing odds after setting an ambush on the Glory Run Road, facing off against the Iron Shepherds and their slave wagon convoy. Molly, injured and facing off against Lorenzo and Beau, tried to use his Blood Maledict ability to hinder Lorenzo’s attacks but was knocked unconscious. Lorenzo planted his glaive into Mollymauk’s chest, and Mollymauk spat blood into his face, indicating his end. Lorenzo left Molly to expire, and his death occurred on 22 Fessuran 835.
After Beau looted Molly’s body for his Periapt of Wound Closure, tarot deck, Summer’s Dance, and gold, the party buried Molly along the road. Beau poured out a drink for Molly and toasted “Long may he reign”.
Upon visiting Mollymauk’s grave, Jester, Fjord, and Yasha said their goodbyes, leaving the Moon card at his grave in a memorial. Caduceus Clay used his cantrip, Decompose, to ensure the earth remembered Molly, triggering one minute of rapid decomposition by fungus and flowers.
