You’ve been divided by media which tries it’s best to display the violent and stupid members of the opposing party, and push the idea that their own party is the intelligent and civil one. If you wake up you’d see the vast majority of people are moral, intelligent and civil. Unfortunately this boring truth doesn’t catch people’s attention, earn advertisers money, or sway votes. I think the world is partly to blame for this too. For our personal advantage, the rest of the world kept silent. It seems so surreal. As a Singaporean who knows what propaganda is, looking at these groups in the U.S. feels idiotic. At best we convince ourselves of the advantages we gain which predominantly encompasses entertainment. At worse we snicker when someone says they are the best country in the world. Yes it is better than a whole lot of countries. So are a whole lot of countries. This would be the epitome of repeating to the mirror how great today is gonna be. It begs the question of what defines greatness. The fundamental ideologies that propelled the country towards greatness is becoming it’s own undoing. Trump has proven it unfortunately in a negative way. Misinformation is so rife it’s comical. I honestly believe the foundation it was built upon would truthfully been a great nation. It’s the arrogance and ignorance that has weakened it. People using terms with regards to their colloquial definitions with blind faith so fervently. The worst part is perpetuating sentiments and ideologies before bothering to check. Kinda rationalizes the behaviour though. Self entitlement has become the improvident spokesman for unwillingness. I am not advocating the racism. I’m trying to point out the hypocrisy it has manifested into. It’s evident from the snail-paced progress that both ends have valid points. As long as everybody remains inflexible, nobody progresses. Maybe take a break, look around the world for a bit.

Seems the ability to avoid confirmation and group bias is pervasive in American society. Critical thinking is severely lacking on all sides of the political spectrum leading to schisms mainly illusionary and curated. Remove yourself from the equation, step back and be as objective and logical as possible, emotions seem to be severely clouding our judgment.
I just really need to stress this….. about 3 months ago my mom almost died from covid. She was hospitalized on a ventilator just like they’ve shown on tv. It was very scary. Doctor said blood type A reacts to covid very weakly and that those are usually the ones that don’t make it… she’s ok now but still struggles to walk. It’s definitely not a hoax.

Covid may be weak for some but for others it wasnt . People still did die. I worked with covid patients. Everyone does have there own opinions. Besides that these people talking on this article, are very contridictive.. sound like a bunch of angry people.. I support neither run for either one of these presidents. Does not matter who wins, world agenda that has been talked about many years is still going down. So make peace with ourselves, keep good values, keep your integrity for yourselves. My question is – does he believe what he is saying, or is he playing along for his own benefit. It’s hard for me to tell. If it’s the former it’s a shame people are not better prepared to separate reliable data from propaganda. If it’s the latter, that’s pretty low, as taking these positions damage our future considerably.

Vice that was such a fair appraisal. I think that this series had really helped me understand the kind of Trump’s consistency just a little bit more.
