Ritual vitamins are not FDA-approved supplements. The FDA’s rules and regulations were established in response to public outrage and political pressure following the 1906 legislation prohibiting misbranded and adulterated food and drugs. The Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD and C Act) was passed in 1938, which separates foods from drugs. Drugs, used for medical purposes, are subject to stricter regulations, while foods, used for nutritional purposes, follow other regulations. This distinction is crucial as vitamins and supplements are treated as a subset of food products under the FD and C Act.

📹 New form of burial freeze-dries bodies, turning them into plant food
A Swedish and an Irish company have been developing and providing new forms of burial. Promessa Organic from Sweden, led …
Well the body decomposes in few months and turns into a skeleton anyways. Not sure why such an expensive process is needed. I think modern burials have been made complicated by a lot of stakeholders that are trying to milk the clients and make quick cash. In my opinion, you should just bury the body in the ground without an expensive casket, similar to how muslims do. Once a loved one is passed away, they quickly bury it, usually within a day or two. No money spent on expensive funeral homes, caskets and other things. Simple burial and the body decomposes in few months.
As columbarium interment is becoming more common, many churches across the country are developing cemetery columbarium gardens on church property. I’m confused. You froze the body and immersed the body in liquid nitrogen. Then a bunch of dust from this brittle body was poured into the machine to make pellets of some kind. Then the body reappears, unfrozen, and is refrozen with liquid nitrogen–even though it was already frozen with liquid nitrogen. See why that doesn’t make sense?
