When I was on accutane I had to quit using chapstick and switch to aquaphor. I was a daily user of lip balm/chapstick and when I made the switch to aquaphor, it helped. Granted my lips were so dry and cracked and bleeding, and since I’ve been off of accutane, I don’t use chapstick or anything daily. I only use aquaphor during the winter when my skin and lips are super dry.
