How To Get All Of Skyrim’S Enchantment Spells?

This guide teaches the basics of Enchanting in Skyrim, including how to enchant an item and how to boost the strength of your enhancements. To learn an enchantment, players must disenchant an item with the desired enchantment at an Arcane Enchanter. The process destroys the item, so be cautious. Once you know an enchantment, you need a filled soul gem and an appropriate item for the enchantment.

In Skyrim, enchanting requires three main ways: disenchanting enchanted items, enchanting items, and recharging enchanted things with soul gems. To learn an enchantment, players must take the item with the enchantment they wish to learn. To level up enchanting, players can buy weapons or armor and Soul Gems from the Destruction trainer at the College of Winterhold.

There are four ways to level your Enchanting skill: enchant a non-magical piece of gear at an Arcane Enchanter, disenchant a magical piece of gear, purchase levels from an Enchanting trainer, read certain books, or use player.additem to add Generic Magic Weapons and Generic Magic Apparel to your inventory and then disenchant it.

Sergiuus teaches Enchanting inside the College of Winterhold, located in the Hall of Elements or the Hall of Countenance. He is an expert on Enchanting and can be found in the Hall of Elements or the Hall of Countenance.

To learn an enchantment, players must disenchant an item, which destroys the item in the process. The strength of the enchantment is not important, but the magic effect on the item can be used to enchant other items. A complete list of all enchantment effects available within Skyrim and their corresponding console identification code can be found in this guide.

Where to learn enchanting spells in Skyrim?

Skyrim has a limited number of Enchanting trainers, with Sergius Turrianus being the easiest to find at the College of Winterhold. Players can only train up to Enchanting 75, with Neloth and Hamal reaching Level 90. The Soul Gem is the Enchanter’s best friend, as it can be used for both Enchanting itself and re-filling used Enchantments on drained weapons. Petty and Black Soul Gems can imbue traits onto gear.

Re-filling a weapon’s Enchantment doesn’t contribute to the Enchanting skill but is lightweight and should be looted. The Soul Trap spell is cheap, but putting it on a weapon is more effective. Filled Soul Gems can be sold for much more than empty ones.

How do you learn all the spells in Skyrim?

In Skyrim, spells are learned by reading Spell Tomes, which are added to the Magic menu and destroyed by selecting a tome from the player’s inventory. Spells are classified by level but can be cast regardless of skill, provided the player has sufficient magicka. Reinforcing magic involves fortifying magicka and increasing the regeneration rate of magicka. Vendors stock spell tomes that are appropriate to the player’s skill level, with Adept level spells available when the player’s skill reaches 45-50. Vendors at the College of Winterhold typically offer the full selection of spells up to the player’s current skill level.

How to unlock all spells in Skyrim console command?

A comprehensive list of Skyrim cheat codes, including tgm, tcl, coc, and psb, is available for players to enjoy the game. These commands allow for God mode, unlimited stamina, magika, and carry weight, as well as teleportation to specific locations. The list includes commands for God mode, unlimited carry weight, and noclip, allowing players to terrorize Tamriel better than any ancient dragons could.

How do you learn all enchantments in Skyrim?

The text file “AddEnchantItems. txt” allows players to add enchanted items to their inventory, allowing them to disenchant them at the Enchanter’s table. This leveling up your enchantment to 60 without using a stone and gives every possible enchant. In the game, the command “bat addenchantitems” can be used. To be extra special, the command “player. additem 2e4ff 80” can be used to create a stash of filled grand soul gems.

How do you get 7 enchantments?

The user is permitted to augment their sword with up to seven enchantments, each of which may be designated as one, two, or three enchantments. Additionally, the user may assign each enchantment a name.

How many enchantments can be learned in Skyrim?

Skyrim offers 18 enchantments, many of which mimic the effects of spells. These enchantments combine the damage of a weapon with powerful spell effects for deadly results. The Soul Trap effect allows players to fill soul gems with any weapon they desire, while the Paralyze effect renders targets immobile, making them defenseless in combat. To make the difficulty of enchanting weapons trivial, players need a set of armor with the Fortify Alchemy effect on every piece and craft a Fortify Enchanting potion while wearing this armor. These mechanics make the process of enchanting weapons in Skyrim a challenging yet rewarding experience.

Can you level every skill in Skyrim?

Skyrim’s levelling system is based on the player’s usage of skills, unlike the Elder Scrolls games. All characters level up their skills at the same speed, allowing them to reach a maximum level of 100 in every skill tree. Each skill has its own skill tree that grants various Perks to the player. Each leveling time unlocks a Skill Point to spend on a Perk within a skill tree, with the Perks determined by the skill’s level and progress along the tree.

Players may have two objectives when leveling: getting stronger in a skill to do more damage or unlocking a specific Perk within a skill tree. The knock-on effects of leveling up skills on others are interesting, such as the combination of Smithing and Enchanting, which can earn money and Speech experience, and a maxed-out Enchanting skill making it faster to level Magicka-based skills.

How do you unlock better spells in Skyrim?

The game allows players to buy tomes for up to adept level spells from court mages, provided their skill level meets a certain threshold. Expert and master spells are limited to college or random loot, with master level spells requiring a quest and skill level 90+. The game difficulty is arbitrary and based on build, gameplay style, and familiarity with mechanics. New players can change difficulty settings without repercussions.

Online reviews often base build strength on the highest difficulty setting, assuming players optimize their build. A pure destruction mage is viable and can kill everything quickly, but may not be as effective on the highest difficulty setting.

What is the most broken spell in Skyrim?

The spell “Elemental Blast” is a particularly potent one, capable of inflicting considerable damage to the opponent’s magicka and stamina through the application of fire and shock effects. In order to gain access to this tome, players are required to download the Arcane Accessories Creation Club content.

How many spells can you learn in Skyrim?

Magic is a significant aspect of Tamriel, even in Skyrim, where the Nords are skeptical of mages. Despite this, some Vikings practice magic, and other races bring their craft from afar. Skyrim has 160 spells, covering various situations for any Dragonborn, from the most magic-avoidant to the head of the College of Winterhold. Most of these spells are worth investing in and can support other skills in surprising ways.

Some spells are more useful than others, as they are learned on certain quests and require a lot of magicka, making them impractical for anyone but the most dedicated sorcerer. These spells are flexible, easy to use, and adaptable for any situation and playthrough. One such spell is Healing, a Novice-level Restoration spell that heals the caster 10 points per second. This basic, bare-bones spell is iconic and plays a role in every player’s experience of Skyrim.

  • A couple of points you’ve missed: 1)- At level 22 merchants can have weapons of Banishing which make enchant rise fastest. After getting the merchant perk on the Speech skill, I make iron daggers to enchant with Banish, and when the money rolls in I make Dwarven bows to buff Smithing as well. 2)- Adding to the base (1-5) Enchant perk devalues the enchants you make, slowing down your progress! After the first one that lets you move up the tree, it’s best to save the 2-5 perks for after you get to 100. 3)- No need to waste the “Champions Cudgel” if you want to keep it as a souvenir. At level 20 you might loot, and the merchants on Solsteim might sell you, weapons of Chaos so you can disenchant one of those instead. But you’re right about the Steel Battleaxe of Fiery Souls. There is no other weapon in the game with that enchantment. I use it together with Absorb Health on my bow and dagger until… 4)- Enchanting a Stalhrim weapon with Chaos will boost the strength of the frost damage when it hits. When I get the Chaos enchantment, I put it and Absorb Health on a Stalhrim Dagger (for the x15 damage Sneak perk) to get maximum damage (and maximum kill animations) on backstabbing sneak attacks.

  • Get muffle and soul trap, make illusion and conjuration cost nothing, find a smithing trainer, use muffle to level up each time, get smithing to 30, get dwarven smithing, get about 3 solid dwemer metal, dupe the metal, get iron ingots, make bows to level smithing fast. Fry fish at the second waterfall downstream of the guardian stones (for salmon roe), obtain Nordic barnacle, obtain garlic, dupe the ingredients (up to about 200 if you have an alchemy armor set) and create potions with those ingredients. Sell the potions individually to someone until 50 speech for merchant perk, and get many skills up.

  • I managed to squeeze all 4 magic resists, 100% Destruction cost reduction, and health, stamina and magic regen onto a single armor set. My Absorb Health/Absorb Stamina sword and Chaos/Shock bow can now swing infinitely. Also infinite Destruction spells. Also: 70% magic discount for the other 4 schools on swappable sets of rings and necklaces. 😀 And I’ve still not used Dreugh Wax and Stonepetal! Or Stahlrim!

  • 5 novice robes of spell reduction and magika regen. Destruction – college of winterhold. Conjuration – Hrodulfs shack on Hrodulfs corpse. Illusion – angaline’s aromatics upstairs in the master bedroom on a shelf next to the bed above your head. Alteration/restoration vigilant’s of Stendarr random encounters.

  • I usually go for the fiery souls enchantment as soon as possible. Then, if I’m a mage, I give fiery soul trap weapon to my follower along with plenty of soul gems to fill. I use weak, but with a lot of charges enhancement, as it is with fiery soul trap, damage stays the same, soul trap length shortens, amount of charges increases. Great for a weapon that is supposed to kill, 1 sec soul trap is more than enough. If I’m any type of fighter then I’ll use fiery soul trap in exactly the same way on my weapon. I then go steal some soul gems, go through some dwarven ruins to get soul gems and plenty of dwarven ingots. I go through several mines starting with steam halted camp to get transmutation. Then I make plenty of gold rings and enchant them. Training both smithing and enchanting, then I make plenty of dwarven bows and enchant them. This way not only isn’t cheating but raises your crafting skills gradually along your combat skills. I’d never use one handed and two handed on the same piece of equipment. Me enchantments: Helmet:(archery), destruction, restoration/alteration Chest:health, stamina or more of the cost reductions Hands: 2handed, (archery), carry weight/block/sneaking Boots: 2handed, muffle Ring: 2handed, magic resist Amulet: 2handed, magic resist 2h weapon v1: chaos DMG, fiery soul trap 2h weapon v2: chaos DMG, absorb health Bow: chaos DMG, shock DMG (deals with mages easier) With my usual Breton build (Breton master race) and mara agent buff I got 80% magic resistance, tons of DMG, fair bit of health, my enchantments on weapons don’t wear off too fast and I can sneak on some enemies even in heavy armor with 2h weapon, this assumes that you may want to dabble in archery ().

  • really good article, i HIGHLY appreciate you poiting unique enchantments that can be disenchanted; the chaos damage and fiery soul trap. (both op if put in a dagger or bow) i would note that theres a few other unique disencahntable items, the gloves of pugilist (if you like punching things), and the solitude shield (resist magika and boosts blocking together). also also, one thats is more known, theres the mage robes that are a superior spell cost reduction as they come with magika reneration aswell.

  • I’m on my very first playthrough so I don’t know much at all about this game or what I should be doing. I kinda wanna just do what I want and enjoy it without worrying so much about if I’m doing something “right” Regardless, this guide helps cause I am trying to level up enchanting. Also, if you have any tips for me, I’m not against hearing them.

  • Solstheim has one more crafting related secret: Black Book – The Sallow Regent. Quest ends with 3 rewards: seeker of might, sorcery and shadows. Each of them boosting +10%: smithing, enchanting and alchemy respectively (also can be switched at every given moment after book related quest is finished). As for creating fortify smithing and alchemy gear, there is one more secret: falmer helmet which – only for vanilla skyrim without unofficial patch – player can wear with circlet simultaneously (head gear can be enchanted with fortify alchemy). Combine this with new ingredients added by CC in anniversary skyrim (rare curios creation) like dreugh wax and stoneflower petals which are much stronger than vanilla skyrim’s enchanting boosting ingredients and player can create fortify enchanting potions more powerful than ever. Crafting in modded Skyrim can be even more broken :DD For example immersive armors mod allowing player to wear: earings, eyepatches, masks, collars, capes etc., and every new item can be enchanted with fortify alchemy or smithing 🙂

  • It is good to take a nap before enchanting session – in Inn well rested bonus provides additional 10% faster leveling of all skills for 8 hours. Frozen Hearth Inn is close to the College. So rent a room, have a nap and then to the College for enchanting 🙂 Black Book “Sallow Regent” and choosing “Seeker of Sorcery” power grants 10% cheaper spell casting and 10% stronger enchantments. Anyways great article! Sub.

  • Wtf. I tried the cheat and now the blacksmith disappeared, the merchant inside whitehall disappeared, and a damn dragon has a hard on for me every minute I’m there. The cat people don’t even sell anything because the dragon is always there. Shitty glitch or what? I’ve reset, gone away for a while, and tried various things but nothing will change now

  • Guide ht max out enchantment values on your gear without glitches or cheats (it’s op, even on legendary – e.g. ftf. alchemy gear: 36%, ftf. enchanting potions: 46%, ftf. sneaking gear: 59%) Get enchantment to lvl 100 + perks and alchemy to lvl 100 + the first 5 perks + “benefactor” Get 4 pieces of Ahzidals armour and wear them while enchanting. Activate magic seeker which you get in the process of getting the armour by reading a black book. Craft 5 pieces with “fortify alchemy” (5, because falmer helmet and circlets can be worn together; so then you got a falmer helmet, circlet, ring, necklace and bracers). The maximum which I got for the 5 pieces is 36% each – with this you can craft 46% ftf. enchantment potions, which is 1% stronger than the one with 45%, which google names as the maximum). To do this, you constantly need to switch between ftf. alchemy gear and shadow seeker which also fortifies alchemy for making stronger enchantment potions and Ahzidals gear and magic seeker while enchanting after drinking the stronger ftf. enchantment potion. The maximum for ftf. smithing potions is 185%, and for the gear 36% – at least thats the max I got out with all of my equipment and perks – maybe you know a bit more. You can craft some really overpowered gear with this which feels like cheating or using glitches – but it is simply the maximum achievable in the game as far as I know. The only problem I now have is to craft weapons which don’t absolutely crush my enemies into dust… Greets J.

  • What’s the best legit way to way to get soul gems filled with a pure orc mage no weapons used. And my followers are pure mages as well no weapons used. What’s the difference in getting the black star vs azuras. I’ve read that azuras is just as good so idk. Please help with getting soul gems filled with no weapons easiest way. Can’t seem to find any insight on this.

  • Hey man, thanks for all the tips ! I just think you forgot the “almost” infinite Alchemy-Enchantment-Alchemy-Enchantment loop 😉 1 – Start by crafting potion with enchantment boost, then drink it and enchant stuff for alchemy boost. 2 – Wear the stuff, create new potions of enchanting bonus (stronger now), drink the newest potion and enchant stuff for another alchemy boost, even higher now ! . 3 – Do it again : potion for better enchantment, enchant new & better alchemy stuff, wear it, create, drink, enchant, wear, create, drink… As far as I remember, you can do this trick only 5-6 times. After that, the % bonus doesn’t change anymore. Now you can create a last potion of enchanting bonus to make your “ultimate” smithing stuff. Drink it, and enchant a whole new stuff with smithing bonus. Congratulations, you are now a God in Skyrim. Even Giant’s hits feels like Ragnars…

  • Something you didn’t mention AT ALL. Joining the mages is easier said than done. You didn’t mention anything about becoming part of the college. Or that you need to cast a fear spell, or that you need to acquire the fear spell, or that if you just started, you neeed your magic at a certain level to cast the spell. Or you need 927 gold to buy a hood.. those all seem like pretty key details to walk through this enchantment guide……

  • Hope you guys find this useful. Let me know in the comments what other skills you’d like to see guides on. I’m also thinking of doing guides on Words Of Power locations, Daedric Quests, and maybe Dragon Priest masks. Is that something you’d like to see? Also, I’ve started working on a Skyrim Lore Book machinima series. It’ll be a while before the first one is finished, but keep an eye out for that! I think it’s going to turn out pretty cool.

  • Way better and faster way: Goto Tel Mithryn in Solstheim with 8k gold…either legit or stolen from khajiit/Eorland Graymane chests. Buy 8k worth of unenchanted staffs and 20+ heartstones. Then use the staff enchanter located in: 1) Myrwatch house mod 2) Ebongrove house mod Watch your enchanting shoot from 15 to 100 in 10 seconds flat.

  • One thing I didn’t mention – if you’re using the Unofficial Patch, you won’t be able to reach the invisible chest the way I showed here because it’s been moved underneath the scenery. If you’re on PC, you can use the tcl command to go underneath the ground and access it. It’s still roughly in that spot.

  • Great vid … but one thing to add … when you enchant items, consider the price of the enchanted items (price of item after being enchanted) before you enchant it as some enchantments are way more expensive than others … so even if this won’t affect enchantment progress, it can still maximize the gold you can make from selling the enchanted items later on

  • So far my best method is to get a ton of iron at halted stream camp, spam transmute like a fool, make gold rings and put either sneak or one/two handed and sell them to wizards which you can then use your profits to buy more soul gems. Plus going to iron bind barrow and getting fiery soul trap is also a great way to fill soul gems for archers or warriors. And going to the college of winter hold and grabbing as many soul gems as you can. You turn a nice profit and you level smithing, alteration, speech, enchanting, and whatever combat skills you use to fill soul gems. Or you can just go to dwemer ruins to get pre filled soul gems.

  • Surprised I’ve yet to see a comment mentioning the Aetherial Crown. If anyone reading isn’t familiar, the Aetherial Crown is a circlet that allows you to have two Standing Stones active at once. It can be acquired through the Lost in the Ages quest. In practice, this allows us to have the Mage Standing Stone AND the Lover’s Standing Stone. With the Mage’s Stone, Lover’s Stone, and the Lover’s Comfort effect, you will achieve a whopping 50% increase in Enchanting skill gains instead of the 35% explained in this article. The 15% difference provided by the Lover’s Stone will make a big difference, especially if you plan on grinding the skill.
