What does the clear amulet do?
The Clear Amulet is a powerful tool that negates stat-lowering effects of Pokemon moves on your Pokemon, making it useful for dealing with those with lower attack and defense stats. Players can earn the Clear Amulet for free, but there are three primary ways to obtain it: 1) by working for it, 2) by using a Coin, and 3) by obtaining it through a Coin-based method. Both methods are essential for enhancing your Pokemon’s effectiveness.
What does the mythical amulet do?
The mythical amulet has the capacity to augment the efficacy of summoned entities in combat, enabling the character to call forth a character of a higher level than would otherwise be possible. This level determines the summon’s physical and magical attack capabilities. Nevertheless, equipping the amulet does not augment Carbuncle’s capabilities, as he does not utilize attack or magical abilities.
How do you use the Life Giving Amulet?
The Life Giving Amulet is a craftable magic item that attempts to heal the player every 30 seconds. If the player has more than 5 Hunger, they lose 5 Hunger, gain 5 Health, and consume 1 use. It can be obtained by crafting it, digging up graves (3. 5 chance during Hallowed Nights), or opening certain Bundled Supplies/Gifts from the Loot Stash. Each of these methods has a 100 chance of containing the Life Giving Amulet, while another has 50 chances.
What to do with amulet of souls?
The amulet of souls can be combined with a reaper necklace and an alchemical hydrix to craft the Essence of Finality amulet, which increases style bonuses and allows for the storage of a special weapon attack. This may be accomplished through the fabrication of a spell tablet or the enhancement of an incomplete one. The list is updated on a regular basis in accordance with the latest available information and can be edited to include additional items.
What does the mastery do in wizard101?
Mastery amulets allow users to cast spells like school spells. Satyr costs 4 pips or 2 power pips to cast if you are life or have a life mastery amulet. Poison costs 4 pips or 2 power pips to cast if you are death or have a death mastery amulet. When casting Death spells, you can use power pips towards them, like using 3 power pips for a Wraith spell. This is a chance at a Power Pip, not a chance to gain one after casting a death spell.

What do mastery amulets do in Wizard101?
Mastery amulets are powerful tools in PvE or PvP, allowing wizards to use other schools’ spells with power pips. However, they are often replaced by other amulets with better stats and spells, especially at max level. This guide explains all 35 mastery amulets in Wizard101, their availability, and their benefits at any level.
Basic mastery amulets are available for purchase at 9, 950 crowns or as drops from Luska, Sylster, Ervin, or Lyon in Tower of the Helephant. They don’t have stat bonuses or jewel sockets, but can be obtained from the crowns shop for 9, 950 crowns.
Exalted mastery amulets, released with Aquila, have a level 90+ requirement but provide critical block to two schools, damage to the amulet, and healing incoming/outgoing. They have two jewel sockets (Tear and Square) and a better drop rate. They can be found in Gladiator Dimachaerus in Mount Olympus, Sand Squid Tentacle in Atlantea, or Cronus or Hades in Tartarus.
Should I sell the amulet?
The Sentient Amulet, a rare item found in Baldur’s Gate 3, is a challenging item to acquire due to its suspicious nature. Acquiring it requires fighting a Lava Elemental, navigating environmental hazards, and opening a high DC lock. The spirit’s madness can lead to different outcomes and upgrades for the amulet, but both have risks. The player can choose to accept the spirit’s madness or refuse it, resulting in different outcomes and upgrades.
The Sentient Amulet stands out from other necklaces in the game due to its ability to communicate with the player. While equipping such items with suspicion is recommended for safe play in the Forgotten Realms, it’s not necessarily worth it. The ultimate payoff for the amulet’s story doesn’t come until Act 3 of Baldur’s Gate 3, making it difficult to make an informed decision when the amulet is first acquired.

I bought a life mastery on my fire wizard when the mastery amulet got released. I’ve always been using it all the time, since back then I quested and soloed mostly alone up until Polaris or Mirage (when I transferred my brother’s death wizard to another account) and didn’t have a healer. When Darkmoor got released I remember just taking the jade gear from my brother’s death wizard and putting it on my fire wizard, and acted like a fire jade healer support thing for a lot of my runs and it worked out pretty well. Currently right now I don’t use the life mastery anymore, but I would say its pretty helpful.
In a group setting, I agree with this article completely! Though in terms of soloing, Life mastery is a GODSEND for almost any school, even in my case, maining a Storm. Outside of a VERY small handful of bosses and dungeons, I’ve actually managed to solo almost the entirety of the second arc! Knowing how to Shield at the right times does help a lot, as well as having a good healing/defending pet. But being able to grab a Satyr whenever I want and not having to worry too much about Healing Current RNG has actually gotten me through a lot of the longer and more frustrating battles.
Mastery amulets can be very useful versus bosses of their matching school. Say you have dispel treasure cards or have dispels trained with points, you can spam a dispel almost every round and completely neutralize a target of your choice. Very useful strategy for bosses that start off with high amounts of pips as dispels consume a spell and its pips. Also Ice + Life Mastery = unkillable paladin Ice + Death Mastery = raid boss (super fun imo)
Amulets: What a tangled web of opinions you have Noah XD ‘Fire amulet has no use to other schools’ was paraphrasable to me I have played W101 since near the beginning so I know my own histories and what not with all 7 schools, Balance being my original and still my main. I personally used Death School most but just to finish the ‘Fire Amulet’ thing… Efreet anyone? I don’t use masteries at this time really but having an efreet in the Treasures at the right time would be a game changer and as a balance main… honestly I don’t use wand spells ever unless I am with a friend which most don’t play anymore XD. I even X’ed out all wand spells in my deck because 99% of the time I would rather do something different. When I used amulets was when the game actually got hard for Balances. I used Death as my main and I had so many Scarecrow spells because at the time you could trade enchanted spells from my death wizard was evil ;). I used Deer Knight too when he came out(you can maybe guess a little of how far I actually use my Death Amulet). All the way up into End game Kry was finally when I put the amulet aside and took on my role as Balance again, but even then… Boy the pains of doing anything in further worlds is still a pain even today. I may take up the mantle of Sandy Reaper School again soon enough… haven’t gotten an exalted death amulet yet… only came back to game about 2 weeks ago so still feeling out what I have missed in 4 years… Not to mention amulets aren’t the most important thing(?
Life Mastery is good for any school soloing, which you kinda have to do for most of the game anyway unless you have friends or something. Or at least that used to be the case, as w101 is a lot easier overall than it used to be. I also use it sometimes when I’m needing to farm as a specific wizard but also need somebody on the team to play support. In which case, my Myth has an entire gear set specifically for healing support. This is a very specific use case though. However, there is one other use case that I rarely see. There are actually a few gear sets that support 2 different schools. Sadly this is pretty inconsistent and at seemingly random levels. However, I have seen some people use those gear sets along with a mastery amulet. I’m not sure how practical that actually is though, probably more so in PvP if anything. I think that would just clutter the deck, but maybe not depending on the combination. Either way, I think it’s a cool thing that I’ve only seen a couple times in my time of playing Wizard101.
I never got life mastery amulet, I wish I was that lucky! I did eventually get exalted life mastery amulet and have used it a great deal. It helps when soloing as well as team ups for tough bosses. Rarely do I get teamed up with life wizards, but even if I do end up with a jade or life wizard, it helps because it’s good to have someone back them up with heals. You can’t expect a heart to conserve pips, blade, trap and heal. I used life mastery amulet in the catacombs up to fell-spawn. I even used it with the last boss before every world, including Karmelle. I don’t agree that it’s useless!
My friend has a balance in early 2nd arc and is stuck on balance bosses, so last halloween I gifted him a fire amulet so I could get the Halloween TP effect cause it looks dope as fuck- and it was in the crowns reward and I thought a fire mastery would help him use those fire spells against balance enemies… and it works! Well- it works if you have a good double set or set of gear that gives fire damage. He has his fire set for when he needs to play like a fire against a balance boi sense they don’t get a trained prism, only the max level prism from an amulet he can not obtain. He’s been able to solo balance bosses a bit easier then before with it. So if your a balance and you do happen to get a mastery for fire or storm, I’de say use it on balance bosses when soloing. Helped him and I bet it’ll help you too. (If you also have a set that can give global or damage for the school your using. Yes they exist and yes they can be good- for damage, if you don’t mind losing out on some other stats)
Idk man, my death jade rocking the Verdant Zanadu Pendant (life mastery) works pretty well for PvE Catacombs bosses. I used to be pretty skeptical about storm using life mastery as well and jading, obviously because of low HP and other factors, but I met a storm with 7k HP and over 80 res rocking a life mastery who tanked my team for a Darkmoor run pretty well. I’ve also used my death for PvP tourneys using myth mastery and it’s worked really well for quake and shatter play. Glad to hear your opinion man, but I think that if a wizard wants to make a build with a mastery amulet that it can definitely work. There are some combos that might not be as practical at face value, but I believe that, with the variety of gear offered in the game through packs and boss farming and with the way that pet building works, anything is possible. Peace ✌️
The only way I think mastery amulets could finally be useful is if they had some secondary effect! Like somehow taking 2/3rds of your school’s damage stat and using it for the secondary school, or at least letting you carry over your school’s accuracy for the secondary one. I feel like mastery amulets are a good idea, but the game isn’t designed to where having a multi school wizard could be even comparable to someone who just focuses on their own school’s stats! Whenever level 200 is out, they totally need something to vastly buff secondary school users!
I don’t think the amulets are bad because of opportunity cost which you seem to be implying. The best amulets in the game only give you a few points of pierce, resist or otherwise. Even the same goes for dragoon which is only a little better because of set bonus. Even if you could equip a mastery amulet without taking up a clothing slot, it would still have little use due to gear damage not matching and very niche use otherwise. If you ask me, masteries should be redesigned as super rare jewels or something.
KI should change mastery amulets. Make it so that wizards with the same school as the amulet can use it. Next change, instead of allowing power pip usage for the school, it reduces the spell cost in half for every spell of that school. Let’s say x=original spell cost and y=resulting spell cost when wearing the mastery amulet. For spells with even number of pips, y= x/2 For spells with odd number of pips, y= (x-1)/2 + 1 Last change. Make it no pvp.
That is only your opinion. The only reason you would say that short sighted view point. Is you value power. Also, not real card combo skills. Do not let “school identity”. Stop you from using your imagination. I have a life wizard. I use all but death amulets. It helps not look for a prism card. It is like boxing right punch, and left punch. Not to mention all school support option. In short. I disagree with you big time. However, your skill is better than Awesome the sauce.
