The letting go ritual is a powerful way to heal from past pain, involving acknowledging the pain, writing it down, and safely burning or tearing it up. Burning rituals are often performed on significant holidays like New Year’s Eve to release negative energies, emotions, and experiences, and move forward with a fresh perspective. These rituals can be particularly beneficial for those letting go of a past relationship, job, or other negative experiences.
A journaling ritual is another effective method for releasing the past. It involves setting aside dedicated time for journaling and reflecting on the pain. Burning ceremonies are an inspirational practice to release the past, typically performed during special symbolic times like birthdays, events, or New Year’s Eve. By taking charge of your emotions, you can learn how to let go of the past in a lighter and freer way.
Regular meditation can help train yourself to let go of past experiences that are no longer serving you and encourage a clearer, more peaceful state of mind. Letting go doesn’t mean forcing yourself to get over something horrible or forgetting what happened. Instead, it is a process of surrendering painful beliefs and emotions. Learning how to unchain yourself from past traumas or regrets is one of the most freeing things you can do for yourself.
Fire ceremonies are the most popular type of letting go ritual due to their potent and empowering energy. To practice the ease of letting go, create space for mindfulness, call up everything you want to release, and light the fire with intention.
To make letting go of the past a “must”, identify your emotional habits, condition your mind, create empowering rituals, shift your focus, and use movement rituals to assist in the letting go process. Acknowledge your personal growth, forgive and move on, and give yourself permission to celebrate.

These rituals can be done through various methods, such as burning the items to ashes, putting them through a shredder, composting them, releasing them to the wind, or practicing a breathing practice.
Writing down the items to be released can be done with love, compassion, and gratitude. Writing the items to be released in the sand near the shore during tides can also be done. Journaling the items can also be done, with the intention of letting go with love, compassion, and gratitude.
To practice the ease of letting go, one can cradle a soft cushion or toy in their hands and gently move their hands apart. How to do a releasing ritual?
This simple release ritual involves choosing a safe and comfortable location, preparing your space, setting your intention, writing down everything you want to release, setting your intention again, holding space, inviting the divine to assist you, burning your list, and anchoring your intention. Release rituals are often done during the full moon to support the dissolution of things we’re ready to let go of. However, these rituals can be done anytime, as long as you hold the intention to release what is no longer serving you.
A simple release ritual can be performed in honor of the Pisces Supermoon, as it helps connect with your inner wisdom and divinity. It’s important to choose elements that resonate with you, as ritual is about connecting with your own inner wisdom and divinity.
Choose a location that feels safe and comfortable, either inside or outside, as long as you feel good in the chosen location. Many people like to be outside when doing a full moon ritual, starting inside and moving outside when it’s time to start burning things.
Why can’t I let go of past trauma?
Trauma has long-lasting effects on our brain, making it difficult to feel fully alive in the present moment and reliving the past. Our experiences shape our beliefs about ourselves, making it easier to blame ourselves for uncontrollable events. This can lead to over-critical thinking and the belief that the problem is with us, rather than the situation itself. As we work through our trauma, we may be alert and ready to protect ourselves, but may not trust others easily.
Triggers, situations that remind us of the past, or feelings or behaviors that make us feel stuck may also trigger our thoughts, feelings, or behaviors. If these thoughts, feelings, or behaviors interfere with our daily life, it’s possible that our trauma has led to mental health conditions like PTSD, anxiety, or depression.
How to let go and release?
To let go of a hurtful past, it is important to question if the pain is comfortable, let it out, take accountability, make space for the new, prioritize yourself, focus on lessons, accept what you can’t change, and seek professional support. This process involves accepting what you can’t control, taking accountability, and focusing on the lessons. It is natural to feel that your current emotional pain is forever linked to the past, but focusing on today is crucial. The process may vary depending on your situation and may involve different approaches.
What are the 4 types of rituals?
Gluckman distinguishes four kinds of ritual, with rite of passage being a typical constitutive ritual. However, the terms “rite of passage” and “ritual” face difficulties as analytic concepts, making it difficult to differentiate between common behavior, rite of passage, and ritual in a strict sense. Van Gennep’s original expressions of the basic features of the rite of passage are vague, and the core problem is what people want to change through ritual.
Travel away from home but not for subsistence is a human behavior that has been widespread in all societies since ancient times. It wasn’t until the late twentieth century that tourism became a general necessity of life, promoting the development of related industries around the world. Determining the coordinates of tourism in cultural anthropology and establishing an analytic framework of tourism are frequently the focus of research for tourism anthropologists.
Graburn and Nash, two important researchers in the anthropology of tourism, have debated these basic questions. Graburn suggests that tourism is a “modern ritual” in contemporary society, where people are outside of their daily lives and in the travel life, which differs from routine work and life. He divides the life of the tourist into three stages: secular work-divine travel-secular work.
Nash later proposed that the purpose of travel, attitude toward travel, and the traveler’s behavior vary from person to person, and not all kinds of travel are similar to pilgrimage. While Graburn’s points of view can be useful for analyzing tourism, it’s important to be wary of being trapped into any one conceptual scheme, particularly one that may acquire a quality of truth in the minds of its proponents.
How do you officially let go of the past?
To let go of painful thoughts, create a positive mantra, create physical distance, practice mindfulness, be gentle with yourself, allow negative emotions to flow, accept that others may not apologize, and engage in self-care. Emotional pain can separate us from our ability to heal from situations, and experts suggest that if emotional pain prevents healing, we are not moving forward in a growth-oriented way.
One effective way to heal from hurts is to learn lessons from the situation and focus on growth and forward momentum. Focusing on what “should have been” can lead to immobilization in painful feelings and memories.

What is the letting go technique?
Let go is a process of being aware of and letting go of negative emotions. It involves letting go of negative feelings without resistance, venting, fearing, condemning, or moralizing about them. The first step is to drop judgment and see that it is just a feeling. Hawkins emphasizes that we will encounter resistance during this process, as letting go of negative feelings is the undoing of the ego, which will want to protect itself.
Hawkins believes that the primary human goal is survival, and a key survival mechanism is the use of emotions. Increased conscious handling of emotions can help decrease stress and decrease stress in our lives. The book includes chapters on different emotions and techniques for consciously dealing with them.

What is a letting go ritual?
The process of letting go is universal and can be easier to relate to by performing a releasing ritual. Some popular rituals include burning a letter, note, or photograph to ashes, sending something to fly with the wind, blowing on dandelion seeds, dropping a feather, or letting sand flow through fingers. Many people wish to have their ashes spread with the wind when they die, and Buddhist monks use mandalas as a way to practice non-attachment.
By intentionally blowing on dandelion seeds, dropping a feather, or letting sand flow through fingers, one can physically let go of the energy they are releasing. By doing these rituals, individuals can find meaning in the chaos and make the process easier to relate to.

I went through breakup 1 week ago, it was more of one sided love that I had. Anyways I needed to move one. Best decision I took, because he was not emotionally connected. It was his decision to be not connected. But i knew i had to let him go, for my inner peace. And i let him go, peacefully. Thankyou for this beautiful article, Namo buddhay🌼
Your blissful words really calm my mind. Due to heart attack my beloved father passed away within 15-20 mins. We can’t do anything, it was so fast. It’s so painful to let your beloved person go, it’s the most hard part of life. I really love to hear your voice and lessons. It gives me strength to overcome this situation. Nothing is permanent. I have to let my father go. I think he is now free from all the earthly pain and sufferings.
Thank you for the teachings. I still at times go through some sadness of losing my mother in 2022, if I look at it today and even she was here alive she would be sick and sad. I would also have trouble caring for her so the word out of control and fading away well said. I started to watch your website and the teachings of Buddhism it is very inspiring with relief. Thank you!

The universe must have placed this article on my screen at the perfect time. I was actually feeling very down and depressed until viewing this article. A man who I’ve been seeing/dating appears to be fading out of my life. I’ve been coping with sadness and depression as romantic relationships have been a challenge for me in this life. This article couldn’t have come at a better time. I just need to let go. Let go of the situation, let him fade away if that’s what’s meant to be. Thank you.
This is the most powerful article I have ever watched.Since two years,I was fighting to let go some people in my life and I got the right answer in this 8 minutes of article out of hundreds of articles I watched in two years. 1.Nothing is Permanent 2.Suffering is not holding you.You are holding suffering. 3.You have to let go everything at some point of your life 4.So,Let go at the right time Namobudhhya
Thankyou very much for your sermon🙏 I’m also facing a tough situation in my life. In my problem, if I did not let some things go right now from my life, my life will end up where I will loose all of my loves ones. So I thought listening to this article and practicing letting go will help me to pass this negative moment. May you attain nibbana🙏
I’m a Buddhist. Even being a Buddhist living here in the US, I tend to forget this teaching. This is a basic teaching to all Buddhists. I had a high monk reminded me this: Forgive Forget & Let Go. If not, you will live with a heavy heart. I just went through a breakup. Very painful. I shall remember an important teaching to Forgive, Forget & Let you
This is so true! Let go, don’t waste your energy on things that are out of your control, instead enjoy and focus on what you do have and are within your reach to make you feel better and move along. Live and enjoy life day by day. I don’t let anything bother me and sometime somethings are harder to let go, but I’ve realized, it gets you nowhere and nothing but stress, white hair and wrinkles, 😆,why bother, just let go and make the best of your situation. Doesn’t have to be perfect. I belive I’ve achieved inner peace. It just clicked one day and I stopped wasting energy on things not worth expanding it towards. I dwell on problems for very short periods and move along. It’s hard, but once you can do that, you’ll feel so much freer and relaxed. I wish inner peace to all, much love.💕
Wow! I am so grateful to hear about your advice. Recently I had been going through some internal suffering. “Let it go . The more you hold on, the more you will suffer . Realize the reality of impermanent. Let them fade away, Let them go away” Following your teaching now I am trying to maintain my own inner peace within me. Thank you, please take my respect. Namo Buddhaya 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much for taking the time to reflect on this! I must admit I’ve never thought and reflected on the aspect you shared about how much control we have on our reaction in relation to whatever it is that we experience. I’ll be the first to admit in most such cases I would either complain about a situation and worry or if I reacted badly/ angrily give my self justification and excuses that I reacted that way only because of the situation made me. What you shared as the first point about how nothing in life is in our control except for how we react to those situations is something I should reflect on and perhaps something I should remind myself daily. I once again walk away with a precious message. Theruwan Saranai!
That reminds me of suffering from my research I learned that the soul is aware of the pain and suffering it went through and continue to evolve with lessons and our challenges we overcome to move forward. Pain and suffering is temporary on earth it will fade over time as an hour glass. The soul of human beings does not carry any suffering, pain, agony, and mental illness because it knows what we all went through so we can continue to grow and use the information we carry within our souls to grow.
I am so grateful for your website. I love to learn the Buddhism culture. It’s so peaceful and joyous!!! I have a couple friends that have a property whenever I go there I feel such a strong peacful positive energy. My friends share much wisdom with me over tea and great conversation. The culture intrigues me so much I long to learn!! Again thank you!!! Namaste 🙏
Completely true! And it’s not easy “not to hold on to”… So what should I do instead? One advice that helped me a lot was “don’t let it go. Let it be!” In other words, don’t hold on to it with your fist tight around it (because that iron ball would hurt you), open your hand and let “it” sit on your open palm. Eventually the iron ball will cool down… you give “it” the permit to go away by itself, without putting energy to it. Perhaps this will help someone else as well. And remember: You’re doing great! 🙏🏼
You have such a calmness in your posture and your face that itself soothes. You have a nice smile. Everything you said makes sense. I had always high respect for buddhism when it comes to religions. I would say that it is only Buddhism among the religions I know that reminds me there are good things in religions. Not saying other religions do not have good things. I have just started into meditation to learn and experience something new. Probably it is time to learn more about Buddhism. I think these two go hand in hand.
I can understand and appreciate how you can let certain things go such as a bad relationship or a one time bad occurrence in your life. To me, if there is an end, there’s a way to let go. What I can’t seem to let go of is things that are constant that seems to have no end. My main thing is injustice, mainly constantly being bombarded with it via the media and acquaintances that bring up new horrible things in the world. I try to not watch news any more and I ask acquaintances to please stop when some new crap storm comes up, but it seems like I still have unwanted exposure and I don’t know how to deal with it. How can you let go of something that never goes away? Thanks for reading. Your comments and advice will be greatly appreciated.
thank you, its not easy but also not impossible. I should be grateful for the acceptance from family, financial support from mother in law. I shouldn’t be afraid with him. He that I falled in love with are gone. Him right now is someone that I never know and wasnt mine. So I will ask myself to feel, is it worth it to worry and think of him now? Tears and heartbreak should make me stronger. ☝🏻
Another meaning of LET go is LET IT BE, And then forgive and forgets it. And knowing life is impermanent. Trying to hold on to all kinds of sufferring are the cause of more sufferrings. Finally the BUDDHA tell us when there are body and mind sufferrings never ends. It comes in a package. There is only one way to stop sufferrings and that is to stop thinking. Practice satipathana meditation and you will understand it. BUDDHAM SARANAM GACCHAMI
This is one of the best, and the most needed articles I had seen in a while. I really needed to hear these words. Letting go. I keep thinking about this woman who is a friend of mine, I developed feelings for her, and those feelings are not returned. She is seeing someone else, but I keep hoping she would eventually realized that I am here. But, she won’t. That’s the reality. I need to let her go from my life, and move on. That is sometimes the hardest thing we can do, but it is necessary. I will keep this article in my favorites list. Thank you.
Lovely article and important message. It’s important to try and give people real actual steps on how to let go. What process can be followed as a helpful blueprint to let go. First step is realizing you have to let go but then what are steps2-+?? Maybe meditation? Processing the loss, recreating a healthy happy story about your reality etc….etc …. The actual things one can do would be great to hear from all.
Thank you for this article. My father passed away almost 5 years ago and I have gone through a lot of heartache and anger because of his other daughters (that much bad blood I refuse to call then my sisters) and I get signs from him all the time. I think he lead me to this article. I have been missing him more in the 5th year of his passing and the pain is just as bad as the day he left. He is still doing his duties as a dad and guiding me in his own way and I believe he is the one who brought me to this article which was a suggestion. Thank you for your words, I will save this article to keep reminding myself to let go of the hate, pain and anger.
❤❤❤Thank you, so to get my inner peace, I must let go of this one thing in my life to make it not permanent to hurt my future life. Golden best advice, I must accept it with confidence in my mind and heart. Great Monk, I am thankful I met your website program. i am now your student Amen❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏💌💌💌💌💌 🙏🙏🙏
The only person that I wanted him to be in my life is FULLY OUT OF MY CONTROL….if I say I am not suffering that would be a BIG lie….so after hearing you I found out that this thing is out of my control…so as you said I am trying my best to LET IT GO…..it hurts me every second of my life but I have to LET IT GO….❤❤❤😢😢😢
Someone cheated on me and walk away from my life ..instead blaming me for it..she knows i still love her..but she preaching me time will heal everything..she is the one who made me to suffer and preached me before dumping me.this article really made me to realise not dwell in that memories rather let it go of her from you..thank you
i will hold on because suffering is also impermanant…..so hold onto the things that are impemanant do not let go…..dont let go of the things you love and want and need..embrace it otherwise you will regret it….life is short… dont let go.. hold onto to it for as long as you exist….or for as long as they will exist..dont let go .. letting go is lazy and inhumane……
Let go, grieve the loss, keep walking 🚶♀️ forward. I’ve had many losses recently, it’s very painful. I accept my grief will pass but the first step is to bid the person, the situation goodbye!! Also a part of having inner peace is acknowledging the loss and the grief that comes with it. Despite the feelings with the loss peace can still occur during the grieving process. Hang in there folks!!
I lost a lot of money and material possessions. These were due to people, taking advantage of me and first and foremost, my own unfortunate decisions. This is still hard to do and depression is knocking on the door. I mostly stay in bed, trying to rest but articles like this help me feel better thank you, start off with forgiving myself. That’s what I must do first.
This is that special much needed sermon which changed my thinking pattern. I have started practicing mindfulness after listening to this. It leaves me peaceful and happy. But then, it is very hard to practice as mind keeps wondering all the time. The moment you realize it,mind has already slipped away from your grip and wondered thousand miles away from you. Most venerable sir, is this really what happens when you start practicing it? Namo Buddaya 🙏
Sometimes we must tear ourselves down and let it fall from our hands. Once it is taken from you it becomes easier. Sometimes people need help with the release. Sometimes people can’t do things on their own and need help to be forced. Even if it is for their own good. Some things are harder than others to release even when we need to.
This one made me cry. I am in therapy at 56 and learning to heal after a lifetime of emotional abuse and abandonment by my mum. I now see that my core values; honesty, fairness, trust, integrity and respect are poles apart from my mum but also my brother. To let go of my rage and hurt, to break that trauma bond, to forgive myself, to find peace and “who I am” is so difficult but therapy and finding your articles alongside are such a positive healing pathway for me. Thank you 🙏
It took me years to let go of situations and people to whom I hold so dearly, but the uncontrollable circumstances made me realize these are inevitable..The process was painful and is still painful but the load is now comfortable to carry, slowly and gradually I am quite sure I will get to that point of total self liberation, un-effaced by the peripheral disturbances, sure and secure with my inner peace.. Thank you Buddhism for these supplementary approaches that helped me overcome the toughest states.. With so much self awakening, I now as well understand that I Hold nothing and nothing holds me and one day I shall leave this world alone, a particle, a period, void of attachments. I am me and I am free. All is well..
How so true! I do let go of many things, toxic people and people who are connected to a toxic person. And amazing feeling of letting go I am in so much peace. And material things doesn’t impress me. True one won’t suffer if you let go. Any negative let go. Thank you thank you thank you. A million times. Yes inner peace is always achieve once you let go. Yes nothing is permanent . Holding on to negative emotion leads to suffering. Nothing I can say but have a blessed day.
I found the answer i was looking for after nights of anger, hurt, rage, suicidal thoughts, shame, embarrassment and other terrible feelings of no longer reaching out to my ex. I have accepted there will never be an attempt to reach out on my part and i accept that my ex would never reach out to me. Ive been sick trying to forgive myself for my mistakes…nothing is permanent..NOTHING!!! The longer you hold on, the longer you suffer. Its simple, not EASY but simple. This article has saved my life!! Thank you
Yeah sir you definately right. We cannot control everything. I should be more happier and I am deserve to happy. These month I was not satisfied myself and a lot of anger and point of the negative view. Buddha only can make me feel relax and calm down. Whatever other people is doing bad thing on me I should more tolerant.
Wandering mind is always difficult to control, it always tries to react to people’s actions. Those actions can be from “anyone” apart from you but the words given in this beautiful lecture gives us a way to get over the pain and suffering caused by the perception of people’s actions. Knowledge of self and super self is much needed in such situation as they let you get over the temporary stuff.
I hope everyone who watches this article is safe. I wish you all the best in life. Don’t blame yourself too much. Accept everything and move forward. Don’t let others define what “success” means to you. Get up, learn the necessary skills and get behind it, all the keys to a happy life are in your hands Namo Amitabha Buddha 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
And don’t forget, ladies… He’s just a guy. YOU ARE THE DIVINE FEMININE. YOU and your ideas/fantasies/illusions of him are what actually made him “special”. Imagine your confidence if you put that energy into YOURSELF instead. You would not have the time to even think about that loser guy anymore…
Then how to not holding on the things? It’s not easy. It requires a lot of awareness to what exactly going on in the brain at the time you’re suffering. I get divorced 3 months ago and it still feels like the first day repeats again and again, same pain, depression, regret, love, hate.. It really hurts I can’t get over it.
I’m writing this to that person who left me today. See,i put every possible effort but u never try to understand my position 😭 u kw yr we both can great but u never choose me yr i i did my best yr but 😭😭 never accept me yr and this is the day we decided that we never talk to each other u kw yr this will be very much difficult as it is quite impossible for me to spend even a day without ur message i w8 whole of thr day for ur message yr,😭😭 please come back yr it’s very difficult for me to spend even a minute. Whenever i think that now u will never talk to me it’s really killing me inside yr . Love u yr ❤❤
ha ha…..I mean this in the kindest way, no insult intended, but 🤣 I’m laughing at the question “how can I practice letting go in my life; how can I practice the ability of letting go in my life?” I thought “is that a serious question?”🤣 Life provides endless opportunities to let go whether we want them or not….I mean wow, good on you if you don’t have the opportunity and you are looking for ways, you even have to ask🤩….because that seems to be one of the primary lessons here 🤣 letting go lessons that can’t be avoided even if you tried! My experience is there is no choice; I can let go kicking and screaming or I can let go smiling, but it is going to be taken away, it is going to fade away back into the nothing and emptiness from which it came….the only choice I have is how I respond to that impermanent reality 🤩
I do not have enough faith in the truth to pursue it in it’s most extreme state of being, even though nature will inevitably force me to to do so, but that will not be of my own doing, for I have not become greater than the nature I inhabit. It is easier to follow Christ as a Buddhist than to follow Buddha as a Christian. Christ is most difficult, so is any great truth. Buddha had achieved a state of perfection, so had Christ, I have not. Can one ask for perfection? Who does one ask? Christ said, “Seek, and you will find”. Perhaps I must. How can I desire what I shun? For I cling to my imperfect nature. Perfection is greater than I, as will God always be, for I seek the Father.
I love you EA 😭 and I miss you so much. My soul left my body when you left on 5th of september 2023 😭8 am . Will you bring me back alive with your smile ? Come back to me ? 😭 Please don’t reject me because of the things which are not under my control. 😭 I promise I will let go off everything for you if you just nod your head . Please bring me back to life my baby😭
Nothing is permanent in this life – hard times and beautiful times. When people walk away from our life, don’t hold on to them, holding onto them will bring suffering. It’s like holding a red hot ball in hand. The moment you drop the hot ball, pain and suffering ends. Don’t hold onto to people Don’t hold onto to anger Don’t hold onto to sorrow Nothing is permanent. Holding on will only cause suffering.
When will the memories of someone will fade away? The answer is never…… someday somewhere something will take you back to the memories… Sometimes it’s not up to you to remove all those beautiful memories… people will leave you but they can’t steal your memories…and this is why some people can’t move on easily….bcz that one person is always stuck in her/his mind and in heart…It’s easy to tell somebody to move on and forget about him/her bcz you never feel that pain and love. All roads leads to him even those I took to forget him…Isn’t it funny… Bhul bhi nhi skte or saath reh bhi skte… One good advice If you love too hard just stay single because people in this generation don’t appreciate that shit anymore….
Romans 8: 5. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. .. Corinthians 3:16–17: “Know ye not that ye are the Temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? “If any man defile the Temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the Temple of God is holy, which Temple ye are.”
1. Reality: the world is out of our control (people, experiences, situation). 2. Cannot control things around you according to your wish 3. Thing within our control: reaction/response to those experiences 4. Mind has a clinging effect- grasps on experience, people. 5. Everything we have to let go one day- goodbye to everything at end of our lives 6. What remains: our reactions 7. Everything fades away-good and bad. 9. Everything in this world is impermanent. 10. When things/people are fading away, don’t hold on. 11. The more we hold on to things, the more we suffer. 12. Realize the reality of impermanence 13. Let things fade away 14. By letting go those things that fade away, you can be happy.
My mother is on life support. Doctor says we have zero chance of my mother waking up. Im in bitter. Very bitter. I do not have closure with my dear mother. We have yet to say goodbye and embrace each other for the last time. This article somehow gives me a bit comfort. For the next few days I do not know how to face everything. My core os very shakened. I do not know how to let go of my sweet dear mother.
I don’t think so my fellow Buddhists brother and sister can go in heaven, nirvana without knowing and believing in the creator (God).I was born and grew up in a Buddhist but I left the Buddhism, because buddhism is only teach us how to survive with the ability of humman efforts without God.But the ability of mankinds is no longer able to stand itself. So,please try to know which the eternal way of life, there is God really.✝️
I know that we are not able to live like buddha by leaving behind everything and become a monk. It is really hard not to hold on things. Sometimes we are attracted to the earthly things. We wanna by house, car, branded things. To achieve this, we are in need to hold on to money. Its too confutious. Please explain me how balance between these.
I went through an ugly breakup in December 2023, and although I thought I was over it, and that I had let it go, I cried while doing this Guided Meditation. I feel a lot better now, it feels like I was holding on to something from the past without even realizing it. I am so grateful for doing this. If you are reading this, I send you love and strength irrespective of your circumstances.
After crying so much I’ve learned the power of tears and crying. On one hand it can make you feel weak and powerless but on the other hand it helps. If you’re in a public place you can go to the restroom and cry. If you’re at home then just cry. I don’t know if it’s the wetness that comes from your tears but afterwards you feel better, calmer, and ready to be more compassionate towards yourself especially if before crying you could have been angry. With all the tension built up you just cry and it all washes away through your tears.
I’ve been suffering from a terrible broken heart. I am I’m about to do everything I can to let go. Please say a prayer for me I just want to heal. Update, thank you everyone for the kind words. I needed each and everyone. That being said it was around seven months. I started to finally feel better. I did a lot of research and I had to feel my way through it and grieved fully. I will say that I didn’t realize how unhappy I was even though I didn’t go. I will say that I am now living the life of my dreams. Without an ending, there would not be a new beginning. I learned a lot about myself as I had to dig deeper than I have ever had to dig. I am forever grateful. Love and light. Remember the universe has a plan. Some people are just not in it.
Divine minutes of silence and relaxation. Just stay with yourself and start feeling your own presence and peace. During those minutes I felt life within my body, restored my energy and accept myself. The most important thing that we have in our lives is ‘I’. I thank myself for being, living and letting the things go…. Thanks for sharing this insightful piece of work 😊
Great article, A month ago, my five-year relationship came to an end. I really can’t stop thinking about the love of my life, who made the decision to leave me. I’ve done everything in my power to win him back, but it’s all in vain, and I can’t imagine my life with anyone else. I genuinely miss him and just can’t stop thinking about him, even though I’ve tried my hardest to stop thinking about him. I’m not sure why I’m saying this here.
This guided meditation provided me with a valuable lesson, to sit and be with yourself. To listen to your body, what the organs are saying, how your muscles are feeling. Being centred by shutting down the mind’s chatter – the past, the unoccurring future. All the noise! I would recommend this to anyone who is needing silence, so that they can finally hear themselves 🌬🍃🌺
This could not have arrived at a better time. 2023 was extremely challenging. I had to break down and work on myself. Recently, I have felt myself regressing to my negative mindset. I was choosing to go back down that path. I greatly appreciate this message from the universe. I have already shared with those that I love the most. ❤
I listen to this meditation daily and lately its been 10+ hours on repeat as I work. I am unable to rest as I am on a mission to change the world and the pressure can be very heavy some days. This helps me be at peace with my efforts and progress at my goals. Soon I will be teaching people how to find their power and I am so excited for that opportunity. Thank you for making this tool for so many 🙏
This meditation 🧘♀️ is a game changer for me 💕🙏💕🙏 Thank you for this perspective and it’s so natural and easy to put into practice …. I’m letting go of control and perfectionism! My whole body was so deeply relaxed and my mind was totally enjoying letting go and letting the body’s good feelings lead the way ! Namaste 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Absolutely incredible. God (my inner voice, my higher self, my inner being etc.) is telling me this stuff for years, but I do not listen. It is better to make the shift while on the straight road, not while hitting a wall, like me. My wife broke a hip and is in a hospital with a hip replacement. The recovery takes much longer than expected. Me myself I am sick, I’ve got a flu or something – too much stress going with the bus to the hospital so now I have to stay home. But I feel good. I am a spirit living in a physical body and creating a physical reality. The old ways or patterns of thinking where I would criticize or fear someone are replaced with love and appreciation. I’m practicing my gratitude right now, by thanking you again, the creator of this website, that you allowed God – the nonphysical energy or substance from which all is made – to talk to me through you.
I just want to express my sincere gratitude to the team who is behind these wonderful meditations. I had lost touch with meditating and wasn’t able to concentrate till I stumbled upon this website. It was so perfect. These past few days, this is now added to my daily routine. So thank you to all of you who are working on this. Godbless ❤️
I don’t usually comment but I wanted to say thank you so so much. I’ve never been this moved by a meditation but I was sobbing by the end of it. I have some things I need to work through and this has helped a lot. I honestly didn’t realize 30 minutes had passed, I thought I remembered the article length wrong. Thank you and much love for the work you guys do. ❤🙏
One thing meditation has taught me is that no matter how hard we try to always embody the positive things of life, pain and suffering will always exist. Sometimes we cause it, sometimes we receive it, and… It is what it is. There’s less need for me to dissect, deconstruct and reconstruct things in my mind. Meditation allows me to not fight everything that isnt “good”, either in me or around me. Why? Because duality will always exist. It HAS to, therefore I can’t change it. I can only change how I internalize it and react to it. Let it go… It isn’t serving you anymore than it already has. It’s job is done. Let’s move forward. As Dr Dispenza says, the past only exists in our memories. It doesn’t have to live in our now. Give yourself permission to let it go. ❤
After this meditation, I had such an enormous revelation about the vicious cycle: how I push people away because I think they don’t like me, which makes them (maybe) like me less because they maybe think I don’t like them, which makes them hangout with me less which only strengthens the feeling in myself of “oh wow, they indeed don’t like”, from which the cycle begins again. Thanks for this insight ❤
I can’t wait to get to these highly needed 28 minutes of bliss!!! Yesterday I had the most relaxing time doing a sleep mediation for the first time. I had an idea, it would be really cool to have a release-crying meditations or the ones focused on releasing intense negative bottled up emotions, dumping limiting beliefs and catering to your wounded inner child, followed by positive reprogramming messages. I love your kind and nurturing voice. You transform lives ❤️
This meditation has been transformative for me. The focus on letting go truly resonates, helping me release old patterns and embrace a more positive outlook on life. The gentle guidance and soothing background music create a peaceful atmosphere that deeply relaxes me every time I listen. I highly recommend this meditation to anyone seeking to find peace and clarity.
Making me let go 🎉i listen to this everyday whenever i feel i am not letting go 🙂 every night for sure. I want the field of all possibilities 🙂 this does it for me. Thankyou thankyou thankyou. And when i am ready, the new will come in :):) chosen by this field and you helping me to let gooooo..:):) ❤
This is the first time I ever did almost 30 mins of meditation, I am very proud of myself. I have been working on processing my emotions and sitting with them and it is taking me some time to figure it out. I am grateful for the girl who is guiding me, if your eyes ever cross this comment just know that you have carried me through some dark times, thank you!
This was the most beautiful meditation. You have an incredibly healing voice. I released SO much I cried the entire meditation the first time through. I have done it three days in a row and it was so effective I only cried the first day because I must have gotten most of it out ❤thank you, truly this is the work that changes the world 🌎
This was of great help to me! As a spiritualist, it sometimes gets frustrating when you awaken, learn the truth and share it with others only for them to dismiss it. Also as an author, it’s tiring sometimes to go onto social media only to be inundated with comments/requests for money to help grow my social media following. Sometimes it feels like you’re shouting to the world that matters of spirituality are more important than money and worldly possessions, only for the masses to cover their ears and shout “We’re not listening!” back at you. Thank you for helping me remember that the mind, the ego feels the need to assert the fact that it’s always “right” and that those who don’t agree must be “wrong”. Thank you for reminding me that we can learn to let go of ego and learn not to judge that which we deem “wrong”. For “right” and “wrong” are subjective terms. We judge things to be “right” or “wrong” from out limited perspective and allow ourselves to be influenced by the opinions of others. When you step back, go within and look at the bigger picture, you can learn to not concern yourself with what others think, nor let their opinions hold any sway over you. Thank you for reminding me, reminding us all of this! Namaste! 🕉☸☯☮
After being sectioned in UK, losing friends and family to mental health issues (though I believe the current system is insane), being forced to take meds then chucking them away……I found this site and your meditations are excellent . I shall work with them daily and Inshallah get my 53 year old life reawakened. Thanks for sharing this.
The best, most effective meditation I ever encountered! Yesterday, my restless legs started again and in a very short time this evoluated towards a horrible level. The curcumstances where clearly the same. Shortly after an operation. But earliyer it didn’t stop until I found the right medication. But today I tried this meditation almost immediatly after the ‘presentation’ of my restles legs. This meditation gave me exactly the tools I neede(d). The way you speek and how you explain all of this, gives me the trust that initiate complete surrender. It’s clear that your Journey started from own experiences that you have analized to the bottom!! For me it is the combination of scientific knowledge and the integration of what is behind that what we can grasp in the physical world. So thank you very very very much!!!
I am so in love with your website I started my spiritual journey Los tryna figure out why I’m not getting clarity on anything but your meditations have helped me so much I’m hitting break through after break through n I saw 888 when i subscribed thank you for help changing my life nothing but blessings to everyone here on their journey💗
That was so very beautiful. I hope you get everything you wish for in your life and the next. I have heard so many of your meditations and it’s become very comforting to hear your voice. Lately, when I sit to meditate, I just type in “guided meditation” and blindly scroll until I get the urge to stop; im letting my guides decide. And it’s so nice when I pick one of yours. A billion blessings to you. And I’ll speak for everyone and offer my deepest most heart felt gratitude ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 Thank you so. Very. Much. 😌
I have a question about something ive heard in this and from many others in the spiritual/meditation sphere online. This idea of choosing a life before you were born or something like that. Like you chose all these particular challenges and troubles and grief for a reason, for a hidden lesson, whatever. I find it really hard to get behind that, because there are so many people in the world suffering unbelievably, and so many dying, and there are those participating in that suffering and death. Am i to really believe that all of those people chose those lives & outcomes for themelves??? For example, Why would a soul choose a life where their family, and their community are killed? Or why would a soul choose to become the person that causes those deaths and suffering? Im hoping theres just something im missing or misunderstanding. Can you help me out here?
I am 71 years old, and I’m still having a hard time letting go of the lady that I was with for three years. I still think about her every day. She has moved on dating someone else. I don’t know why I can’t let her go when I was the one who broke it off, because I felt that I was not being treated correctly, or as a partner. I gave more than she gave.
Once disable drug addict for 33 years… Endured three years intensive recovery… Only should have I shall back to work at 71 three jobs…and that able-bodied homeless men reeking of booze to ask me for help, is disgusting. I’m not here to loan you my phone or give you a ride to the motel or lend you money you need to get your act together I get don’t look so weak! Anyway I don’t have time for that so I want to let go and to their highest good. And so it is
Feel asleep and woke up with my neck in knots ? I’m saying that I did Not sleep wrong ? I went in to bed wrong, with a heavy weight on my shoulders. It’s written in a good book. Never go to bed angry. You just can’t carry a load all by yourself. Feeling weighed down throw your burden off, in words and in hearing. Many of us have a pattern of how it’s own beliefs and having a moment with Him 🙏. Good choice but please know that its OK to have a calm moment with relaxation in a safe place to be. Honestly, He doesn’t mind. Its encourage for you to keep your ” thinking abilities ” in tack. When faced with a situation and you have to respond? Stop, ponder, view and follow though. Its in a book that read but before I do, I put on my headphones, 5 minutes 😢 get it All out. Meditate before you answer, drive your car, have a few of Great Meditation in the long length version on speaker. Someone might hear it,and maybe it was for them. 😊
Such a powerful meditation. Well thought out! What a great way to ease into the concept of letting go in the beginning. Especially for those like myself that struggle. Starting with simple and easy aspects such as letting go and releasing any feeling of tension in the muscles. Then, later in the meditation practicing deeper and true release. Thank you so much 💗✨ Truly, whoever made this is operating at a much higher state of consciousness 🙏🧿

Lets release together those doubts, fears, uncertainty, negetive beliefs that no longer serve you for your highest goods.🥹🙏💕🍀✨ THOSE WHO IS READING THIS, I just want you to know, All of manifestations are on your way. To whoever may need this… Heartbreak is a hard thing to go through, but we All Grow through it, within that pain and despair is blessings of Wisdom and Strength. Know your worth through the eyes of God and know within your heart that this, too, shall pass. Because it All does become a part of our past. We grow through what we go through, even if we don’t understand it while we are going through it. Never Give Up No Matter What!!! One day it will All make sense. Walk away from those that takes you for granted and Never go back from where God delivered you from. You can not heal in the same place that broke you. 🙏💕✨
I put my phone down after messing about on YT. My dog sat on the phone, your meditation started to play. I stopped due to the sound of your voice being relaxed and listened. Half an hour later thought I’d say I relaxed and found this unusually good. Thank you, I can only imagine how long this took to make, edit and put out here.
I’m sorry, although this article was very relaxing and your voice itself is relaxing, there was no part of this article that you guided us into “letting Go”…except for our muscles. I thought it was a guided article of letting go of things, people, and situations. Please change the name of this article. I’m trying to let go of a cruel cruel narcissist for good, this article didn’t help me to do that as I thought it would. But it did relax me, so thank you .. 🌹 You should rename this article to “Release, Let Go of the Tension, and Relax.” Much love and light sent your way.
Help!:)? When i feel emotions, and whats really in my awareness, is when i feel certain emotions (fearbased) i see myself in another time, either the future or past. Feeling the same emotion. Either not wanting to be where i am in that moment or the feeling maybe randomly coming up. I want to let it go totally. But it seems like almost every time i sit with, it does that thing, where i see myself in another time, not wanting to feel it or be there or whatever. Im not feeling confident to sit with it for too long, because i have seen it manifest as well 😅 and i prefer not to ofc. Im not sure what to do, it looks a little like automatic manifestation 😂 It seems to be based on Being here. It looks like, when i was a kid i had moment or moments of feeling these things and seeing these things. So maybe there is a belief or beliefs from childhood, believing that it doesnt matter what i do, because ive already seen ‘my future’. ( Before my awakening, i actually lived like someone who had given up) not even wanting to try. :/ it begins to make sense why, and i want to change my/the story 💝 heeeeelp? And thank you for the meditation! It was nice!
