In the Skyrim Dragonborn DLC, Shahvee is an Argonian citizen who can be married only if you bring back her amulet. She lives in the Argonian Assemblage outside Windhelm and is the only female Argonian in the game that can be married. To marry Shahvee, locate her at the tanning rack on the Windhelm Docks and talk to her about her bad luck. She will ask you to retrieve a stolen amulet for her.
To complete the quest, retrieve Shahvee’s amulet and return it to her. The amulet can spawn in Uttering Hills Camp, a location with a chance for Annekke Crag-Jumper or Brunwulf Free-Winter’s personal quests. If they do, none of the quests will be completed.
Shahvee’s amulet can be found in the chest inside the room where the boss is in, alongside a spare Mara Amulet. Give this back to Shahvee and she will thank you. Ra’Kieran takes on a job to help an Argonian Dockworker in Windhelm get her amulet back from thieves.
To marry Shahvee, go to the murder scene in Windhelm’s graveyard, talk to Jorleif in the castle, Helgird in Windhelm’s Hall of the Dead, and follow the trail of blood to Hjerim. Doing the quest for Scouts-Many-Marshes or Amren first may cause her dialogue to appear. Another possible solution is to complete a series of other quests and come back to her in about a month or two in-game time.
If Shahvee is not giving the option, try another misc quest. If you cannot get Shahvee to give you the quest to get her amulet while she’s at the tanning racks, approach her in the Argonian Assemblage.

📹 Shahvee | Skyrim NPC of the week
I’m trying to make some changes to the settings on my mic and I am slightly losing my voice so apologies if things sound a little …
decided to do my biannual playthough and struck up a conversation with her while trying to find a way into the shatter shiled building. I was not expecting an npc from a game I’ve sunk hundreds of hours into to make my day. When I left she said “I enjoyed our talk” and my high ass responds out loud “I did too” and just sat there and thought about how beautiful life is for a moment
While Shahvee is a good spouse I would suggest an alternative. Scouts Many Marshes, the one I marry in literally all of my playthroughs, who was actually seen in the background of one of the shots. He is similar to Shahvee of being super optimistic despite his circumstance. In fact he even allows you to go intimidate Torbjorn into giving better wages to the dock workers. Not only helping himself, but also his other workers. The lack of optimism (compared to Shahvee) is refuted in comparison with his altruism. Thus winning number one husband in my book.
