Rite Aid offers a free CLEAR app for customers to book their COVID-19 vaccination, which can be accessed through the blue digital vaccine card tile on the home screen. To create a digital vaccine card, customers must download and enroll in the CLEAR app, scan their SMART QR code, and verify their identity by uploading an identifying document and taking a selfie. The most common way to digitize a vaccine card is with a SMART Health Card, which is a personalized QR code that verifies your vaccination history when scanned.
To access digital proof of vaccination, customers can download the free CLEAR app, tap on the blue “digital vaccine card” tile, create an account by uploading a government-issued ID, and snap a quick selfie. They can also obtain a free SMART Health Card if they were vaccinated at any branch of Walmart, Sam’s Club, CVS, Walgreens, Costco, Kroger, or Rite Aid.
Every state’s health department keeps track of immunization records and can tell you whether it is possible to get a digital proof of your Covid status. Customers vaccinated at Rite Aid can enroll in the CLEAR app and scan their SMART QR code from an email or SMS notification received from the state.
Generating digital vaccine records requires having accounts with Walmart, Sam’s Club, Rite Aid, and Express Scripts. Customers who have a pharmacy account can receive a digital vaccination record on the Rite Aid website.
