The quest “Under Saarthal” is automatically given to players as they go through the College of Winterhold main quests. Players can leave Saarthal and wait in another hold other than Winterhold for 30 days to reset the area and allow the script to work. In Saarthal, players must find 4 magical artifacts for Arniel Gane. After talking to Tolfdir at the closed gate, players can pick up the Ancient Amulet from a black section on the wall to trigger a mechanism, trapping them.
