This guide provides an overview of how to defeat the Crystalian, an optional boss in Elden Ring. There are three variations of Crystalian, each with a different weapon. The Ringblade wielding version is the weakest and the one with the most ranged attacks and magic. To defeat the Crystalians quickly, use fast-hitting weapons or a high-damaging Greatsword. For magic users, the Night Maiden’s Mist spell is highly recommended.
For defeating two Crystalians (one with a spear and one with a wand), you will receive Runes and Smithing Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing 1. The Crystalians have considerable defensive capabilities due to their resilient outer shells, making them a formidable foe.
To defeat the Crystalian, you can use one of three options: powerful ranged-based magic attacks, blunt attacks, jump attacks, guard counters, high poise damage, and low mana spells. Summon a tanky Spirit Ash to distract the Crystalians, attack them until you break their poise, and use a combo of quick-release and blunt damage armaments. A basic Warhammer can be used to break their covering.
In summary, the Crystalian is a formidable foe in Elden Ring, with its strengths, weaknesses, attack patterns, and lore. To defeat them, use ranged attacks, magic, jump attacks, guard counters, low mana spells, tanky Spirit Ash, and blunt damage armaments.

Was having trouble with this as nothing i had was doing any damage, with a bit of expermenting as my souls where stuck there lol, …
If you don’t have the hammer or want to just range fight it then use meteorite. it deals a decent amount of damage and still breaks poise fairly easy imo. not as good as the hammer of course but fight is just easier for me from range. works for the trio as well later on in caelid just need to have summon tank 1 or both and go ham on 1 at a time. found the spear ones to be the worst then the circle throwing one and the staff one is the easiest to deal with even solo
anyone struggling to kill these as a mage do this: -Get Oleg summon to +4/5 if you can so he can tank more hits -use moonveil katana’s ashe of war attack (the vertical slash) to posture break them -i attacked the mage first because his attacks are annoying AF and i found it easier to kite the spear guy and range guy. -buff up, choose ur target run in and ignore/kite the other 2 and use moonveil twice to posture break, now all your spells will do full damage again, go HAM and nuke them 1 by 1, and try to do it fast before oleg dies or them will all focus and stunlock you to death. goodluck
This was no so hard fight for my SL1 character. First we need to break Balance of Caster. Of course doing this with weapon is a really bad idea so = Glintblade Planax Ash. Summon your 5x Great shield Army by removing all Mana cost Wondrous physics. Two casts and balance is gone. Destroy others one by one with the same approach. And prepare some anti-rot boluses. Good Luck)
